Week 1 of Tretinoin and Spironolactone
For 1 week, I’ve been taking spironolactone every morning and applying .025% tretinoin every other night. Starting today, I will apply tretinoin every night. Regarding the spironolactone, I haven’t been experiencing any serious side effects. So far, I’ve been peeing more often and every once in a while I would get cramps that are similar to period cramps (I’m expecting my period to come at the end of this month). Regarding the tretinoin, I’ve been experiencing lots of purging. So many pimples have surfaced. I’ve also had some dryness, especially around my mouth and nostrils. I recently started using the CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin every morning and it’s been good in taming my peeling skin. Let me know if you guys have any tips regarding tretinoin or spironolactone!
‼️PSA: CEREVE CREAM TO FOAM CLEANSER‼️
I had so much hope for this cleanser. It literally went into my hand looking like shampoo, foamed up and lathered beautifully. The experience was 12/10! However. My cheeks had the WORST reaction. My face has never felt this burnt, flaky and dehydrated ever. Only my cheeks and under my nose had a reaction, aka my dry areas. My oiler areas (t-zone) didnt react at all. I’m soooo sad. I’m currently using the cereve hydrating cleanser in the morning & inkey list SA cleanser in the evening. I do was my fave twice a day because if I don’t by skin doesn’t feel as soft and nourished. So, that’s why I went with a super gentle cleanser for morning. Maybe even needing to use the SA cleanser 2-3x/week. I’m looking for something gentle, but will get my sunscreen off. Any recommendations would be extremely appreciated 💗💗💗💗 CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin

CERAVE HYDRATING GEL CLEANSER REVIEW! 💚
Hi! 👋 I am going to be talking about my overall experience with this cleanser from Cerave! CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser INFO: This is recommended for Normal to dry skin! Though, I would recommend it for all skin types. For reference, I have combination skin! I have areas of dry patches and oily areas on my skin! This cleanser can be found at Target, Ulta, Walmart, and Amazon! The cleanser is $14 USD for 12oz! They offer a trail size of 3oz which is great if you want to try it out! REVIEW: This was recommended by my dermatologist, when I had severe acne. My overall experience with this product is great, it left my skin hydrated after washing it off (does not strip the skin). This is a gel cleanser, so it does not foam (create bubbles). Some people say that the product did not cleanse their skin well enough or that it caused them to get breakouts. I use it also as a double cleanser, so I use it twice in a row to get off makeup. This didn’t happen to me, but just another reason to try the trial size! Highly recommend! thanks for reading! Comment your experience with this product! Follow me for more! :)
Differin progress... is this a purge or what?
Sorry this is gross.. I know my skin isn’t pretty right now. Today marks the 4th week I’ve been on DIFFERIN - 0.1% Adapalene Acne Treatment Gel Pump and also my new birth control (yaz). I have literally never, EVER seen my skin this awful and angry. Should I stick it out until the and of 12 weeks? Does this look like a purge or just a flat out breakout?! I’m freaking out.. I don’t even want to go outside looking like this. I’m also using Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream am and pm, and cleansing with CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser . Not looking to add any more products. Sometimes I use a hydrating toner. The dryness and peeling has subsided but the pimples do hurt, my cheeks are tender to the touch and sometimes itchy but that has gotten better over time also. Please help!!!!! EDIT: i just bought the DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5%, Neutrogena - On-the-Spot Acne Treatmentand HERO COSMETICS - Mighty Patch Original for Madewellto hopefully combat the horrible breakouts pictured above. just praying it doesnt over dry my skin.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
nICe I had oily skin during my puberty years. Once that phiasco was over my skin became rather dry. I have used Soo many cleansers and I always had that tight sensation after use. They would strip all the moisture off my face! I see a lot of people on here complaining about how this cleanser doesn't feel like a Cleanser. Complaining about the fact that it doesn't lather. Well Karen hear me out. This cleanser doesn't have a lather agent, meaning that it lacks that ingredient that results in bubbles and soapy goodness, BECAUSE those ingredients are usually drying, those are what cause that tight sensation after it's been used. This cleanser on the other hand, doesn't even look like a Cleanser, and doesn't feel like one, it's almost like a cream of some sort. However It does it's job WELL, my skin looks so clean and glowy after using it, and I don't have to rush for my moisturizer after because I don't feel like a dry raisin. I also see a lot of people complaining that it DoEsnN't TAkE oFf My MAKEUp OfF wEll EnoUgH... it's not a makeup remover, buy an oil based cleanser so you can remove your makeup or heavy sunscreen applications throughout the day AND THEN wash your face with this nectar of the gods. it's incredibly basic, but it's good hehe

Every day staple!
I use this cleanse twice a day, every day! Usually as a second or final cleanse this is a product that is perfect for anyone with sensitive skin - it’s so gentle and doesn’t strip my face. It’s inexpensive and the big bottle even lasts me a couple months! If you haven’t given this one a try yet, you must get your hands on it 😍CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin

my experience with cerave
i started using these cerave products about two weeks ago. i am never consistent with my skincare since i move from my moms house to my dads house- so maybe that’s why i’m not really seeing dramatic results. i use the cleanser in the shower in the mornings, and use the moisturizer when i do the rest of my skincare after my shower. the cleanser has a thicker consistency than what i’m used to (liquidy cleansers) and has a significant smell. the smell isn’t bad but none of my past cleansers have had any sort of smell. i haven’t seen any results with this cleanser except making my skin smoother, but then again it’s probably because i’m not consistent! the moisturizer works great sometimes but other times it dries up and becomes dry. it peels off my skin and leaves white residue which is uncomfortable and a pain because i’ll have to wash my face again to get it off. even though my skin is still dry and i’ve seen no significant results, i know consistency is key so i will continue to use these products daily and hope i see some change!
CeraVe-AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30
These 2 products saved my dry skin
I have been taking skincare more seriously, figuring out what works well for me was a challenge at first. I have oily skin, however I realized when I have a consistent skincare routine, using foaming cleansers, my skin would feel dry, itchy, and tight and there would be visible dry patches. Hydrating cleansers have been the way to go and don’t make my skin feel tight. I have seen drastic improvements since I first started using these two products, and I recommend this for any one with dry skin. My skin has never looked or felt better. I use this everyday day and night. SPF following the lotion in the morning. 😊🤎 CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.Feb. 17
