Do I have to change my Skincare Routine?Comments
Hello Everyone 🤎 Yikes!! Is all I can say when I look at the old pictures of my face. The last three pictures were taken between Dec 2019-May 2020. I have come very far from what I use to be but still need improvements in my skin. The first picture is my skin as it is today with no makeup on. I have a question for everyone I have read that after a certain period of time skin care products stop working on your face and you have to switch it up, I don’t know if that’s true or not. For me I started getting into skincare when quarantine started and saw improvements within 4-5 months. Now I feel like my improvements have plateaued and I’m not seeing any changes with my skin. Does anyone know if I have become “use” to the products and have to change my routine?
LED Facial Mask
Hey Everyone 🤎 I purchased the LED facial mask from Lux Skin. The reviews were great and people saw results in only 2 sessions! It has 3 modes that target different concerns, this is a 30-60 minutes treatment, I use this for 30 minutes 3x a week. I love this product because I haven’t had any major acne breakouts, which I usually get at the end of my cycle. I’ve used this quite a few times already and love it! This is how it works, directly from the user manual: Red Light - 620nm to 750nm wavelength - Great anti-aging benefits because of its ability to stimulate collagen and elastin production. Blue Light - 405nm to 420nm wavelength - Great for acne treatment. Stimulates the production of oxygen radicals that kills acne-causing bacteria, without damaging the skin. Yellow Light - 590nm to 620nm wavelength - Used to cleanse the skin, boost lymphatic flow and increase production of new skin cells. #Lux Skin - LED Facial Mask[products]#[FiveStars]

Mode 4: Yellow light, used to brighten skin or dark areas. Mode 5: Pink light, used to whiten the skin. For me the modes I see myself using the most are modes 1,2 and 3. Skincare Routine for Oily Skin
Hey Everyone 🤎 I am doing a quick series recommending skincare regimens for certain skin types. Part 5/5 Cleanser: Gel based or foaming cleanser. This will help clean out pores and strip away excess oil. Toner: Look for toners that include exfoliating ingredients, like salicylic acid to cleanse pores. Serum: Look for key ingredients that help treat oily skin for example, Niacinamide, Lactic Acid and Vitamin C Moisturizer : Look for moisturizers that are lightweight, fast-absorbing, that will not leave you looking shiny. Spf: Look for an SPF that is oil free, and lightweight.
Skincare Routine for Sensitive Skin
Hey Everyone 🤎 I am doing a quick series recommending skincare regimens for certain skin types. Part 4/5 Cleanser Glycerin is a key ingredient to look for in cleansers for sensitive skin. Glycerin improves and protects skin by filling up the intercellular matrix and also helps in building an even skin structure. Toner: Look for toners that contain moisturizing ingredients such as glycerin and hyaluronic acid, that would be more beneficial. Furthermore, look for ingredients that are calming/soothing. Serum: Look for serums that are hydrating. Moisturizer: Look for products that increase hydration, and decrease irritation, find a product that is soothing, and steer clear of acids. Spf: Finding SPF for sensitive skin may be very difficult, because many sunscreens irritate the skin. zinc or titanium dioxide are the best options for sensitive skin.
Skincare Routine for Combination Skin
Hey Everyone 🤎 I am doing a quick series recommending skincare regimens for certain skin types. Part 3/5 Cleanser: Look for cleansers that are gel-based or mildly foaming cleansers. Toner: Look for toners that are rich in antioxidants and hydrating compounds. Serum: Hyaluronic Acid serum can be used in your everyday skin routine. It's ideal for combination skin because it locks-in moisture without adding excess oil. Moisturizer: Look for a non-greasy moisturizer, that is water-based and light-weight. SPF:Look broad-spectrum UV protection of at least SPF 30.
