Black-Owned Vegan Beauty Brands 👌🏾💕
I ran into this article on VegNews titled “THE VEGNEWS GUIDE TO VEGAN BLACK-OWNED BUSINESSES”. I’m not vegan but I do gravitate more towards vegan and cruelty free products. I honestly just wanted to share this list for anyone who has been looking for B.O.B’s that are vegan/cruelty free and are having trouble finding those types of companies. My favorites from this list are Mented, Beauty Bakerie and Kinky Curly. Reference(s): https://vegnews.com/2020/6/the-vegnews-guide-to-vegan-black-owned-businesses
How I dye my coily hair blonde....
I use Dark & Lovely in the color 396: Luminous Blonde. It's a permanent color. This is my go to box hair color to keep my hair REALLY blonde. I have been using this brand of hair dye for a long time. Honestly will never use another brand. Dark and Lovely - Fade Resist Rich Conditioning Color Dark and Lovely - Fade Resist Rich Conditioning Color

Soap Brows Tutorial! ✨🦋
Hey guys! I LOVE a bold brow moment, and I’m always game for trying something different. I’ve been watching A LOT of Bailey Sarian videos on YouTube and in one of her #GRWM videos she explained how she gets her brows to stay in place. Of course I had to try it out. I’ve worn soap brows a couple times this week and I still have some work to do on my technique, BUT my brows DON’T MOVE! 10/10 recommend! Go check out Bailey Sarian on YouTube if you haven’t already found her! benefit - Ka-Brow! Cream-Gel Eyebrow Color with Brush Pears EST.1807 - Pure & Gentle Soap With Natural Oils

A fun, but subtle glitter spray.
IGK - Preparty Hair Strobing Glitter Spray I am liking the IGK Preparty glitter hair spray, it’s fun, while remaining subtle. The glitter itself is a very fine silver and leaves hair with a faint shimmer, that catches your eye. It’s easy to apply and stays on well, but I suggest applying the spray outside, if your worried about glitter fallout, because there is some. Although I like how this product looks on, I really don’t use it very often, I’ve had it for over two year and have only used it a handful of times, but it’s fun to use for parties and holidays.

🤠Eyebrows at Home✅
If you haven’t been able to get to your eyebrow lady or one too many threading aunties have done you wrong - this ones for you, babes. I keep mine pretty natural and true to their normal arch and try to avoid that super angular shape. I might do a more in-depth self threading video to follow up because that changed👏🏽 my ☝🏽life 🤚🏽(and my mom and sisters because now I thread their brows too lol). Also, wow, I am too comfortable being greasy haired on gods internet. My goodness. I stopped getting my eyebrows done and took my destiny and brows into my own hands. Darker warm color hair look!
Goal was a light ash color, what we got was a darker warm color! Reason is the history of the hair has a lot to do with the outcome, during Quarantine my client used a dark color hair mask only left it on for five minutes and when we tried to go in and remove it out, it turned pink 😭 so this is the best we can do for this session until all the color fade and we go in again and rebleach.

I feel like every millennial grew up watching Spongebob so it brought back really fond memories when Juno and Co did a collaboration with them! Like I can’t be the only one who goes through life daily quoting lines from the show. The JUNO & Co. - JUNO & Co. x SpongeBob Bikini Bottom Bundle retails for $24 and you get one Spongebob microfiber sponge, one Patrick microfiber sponge, one pair of Gary mini microfiber sponges, and one bikini bottom sponge cleanser. Unlike your typical sponge the Juno and Co sponges have a layer of microfiber material that they claim allows the product to sit on top of so the sponge doesn’t absorb it. They claim this gives you a airbrushed like finish. I’ve used Juno and Co sponges in the past and really liked them. I mainly bought this bundle for the mini Gary sponges as I have a hard time getting into the tear duct area of my eye with concealer (and I can’t find the mini beauty blenders anymore). That being said I’m severely disappointed with them. They were very hard dry and I had hoped once wet they would soften but they don’t. It’s unfortunate because they PERFECTLY get under neath the eye. It’s the perfect shape. But it’s so hard it’s uncomfortable to use and doesn’t blend out concealer. I ended up going in with the big sponge. The Spongebob sponge is shaped like the original Juno and Co sponge which the Patrick is shaped like a Beautyblender. They weren’t as soft as your typical sponge dry but they weren’t hard either. I used the Spongebob one and it definitely softened up a lot when wet. The only downside is the sponge does dry out really quickly and I noticed when it was more on the dry side it took longer to blend in my foundation than my Real Techniques I usually use. It did blend out nice eventually but it took more work to get the desired result. It almost seemed like it bunched up at first which scared me and then blended out. I added a video for size comparison of what the sponges look dry and then wet. Overall I just didn’t enjoy using it. I’ve had two Juno and Co sponges in the past and I don’t remember the microfiber feeling this weird on the face. I just didn’t enjoy the application process. Personally, as cute as this collection is, I don’t find it worth it. If I bought this in store I would return it. Real Techniques is so much cheaper, applied foundation better, and does its job faster. Did anyone else pick this up? What were your thoughts? #CheriePartner
