I have heard amazing things about Peter Thomas Roth’s PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid. I have been using other products to clear my congested pores on my T-Zone area (mostly my nose and cheeks ) from comedones as well as blackheads. I am currently using The Ordinary’s AHA/BHA once a week and the Lactic Acid twice a week. I am in love with chemical exfoliating because I know it works so this seems like the product for me to at least try out. This isn’t the only thing I want for Christmas but it is top of the list! The Sephora website has some information on this product and it states: PETER THOMAS ROTH - Pro Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid “An expert-level, daily leave-on exfoliating and clarifying liquid with 10 percent gluconolactone (PHA), five percent glycolic acid (AHA), and 0.5% salicylic acid (BHA). Skin Type: Normal, Dry, Combination, and Oily Skincare Concerns: Dullness, Uneven Texture, and Acne and Blemishes Formulation: Lightweight Liquid Highlighted Ingredients: - Gluconolactone (PHA) 10%: A polyhydroxy acid that provides gentle yet advanced exfoliation, clarifying acne-prone skin and helping to reduce the look of uneven skin texture and tone. - Glycolic Acid (AHA) 5%: An alpha hydroxy acid that helps improve the look of radiance, uneven skin tone and smoothness. - Salicylic Acid (BHA) 0.5%: A beta hydroxy acid that clears up and helps prevent acne, unclogging pores and reducing excess surface oil.”

Sharing some quick thoughts on
Sharing some quick thoughts on 2 paulas choice BHA products ✨ ✨Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant ($30) - This is Paula's Choice # 1 product worldwide, and I can see why. I love the liquid texture, which feels more like a hydrating serum than an exfoliant. The ingredients list is short and sweet, and basically contains salicylic acid, green tea, and some hydrators. This decongested some of my blocked pores and sped up healing of my acne flare up! ✨Antioxidant Pore Purifier ($31) - This has a light fluid texture and also contains salicylic acid and white tea. However, I didn't see any results with this - and I used it daily on my travels! When I got back home I switched to the 2% BHA Exfoliant, and it actually addressed the acne flare up that this serum didn't prevent. ✨VERDICT: Get the 2% BHA Exfoliant. It’s amazing!

What's your favourite way to e
What's your favourite way to exfoliate the skin? Mine is definitely PHA or AHA and when you add BHA to them then you get a multitool that will exfoliate and moisturize your skin but also clean the pores. I used Neulii pads during the worst time for me - internship, I was 100% sure that my skin is going to have weird reactions and it did but somehow I feel like PHA & BHA mix helped me a lot. There are some misconceptions about BHA - some people think that BHA is bad because they think that BHA in products stands for Butylated Hydroxyanisol while in fact, it stands for β-hydroxy acid. The only BHA we use in skincare is Salicylic Acid, Neulii pads are based on Gluconolactone (PHA) and Betaine Salicylate - a mix of Betaine and Salicylic Acid. The packaging and formula are quite minimalistic, it's hydrating and it doesn't burn my skin. I see my pores being less problematic when I use BHA than when I skip BHA. Even if according to Neulii you can use their products every day I use it 2 or max 3 times per week and I still use sunscreen. The packaging contains 70 pads and you've got 12 months to use them all. This formula is great for sensitive and acne-prone skin types but also young skin.

BHA? PHA? AHA? what do they mean?
BHA? PHA? AHA? 🤪🥴 These names can be very confusing! What do they work for? Should you use them? I know it can be challenging and even scary to incorporate these into your routine. Here are the basics to help you get started!

Be Plain BHA Peeling Ampoule
Be Plain BHA Peeling Ampoule It took me quite a long time to review this ampoule because of my studies but I had a long break from treatments so it's time to share the final review. The main ingredients in Be Plain BHA Ampoule are Green Tea Leaf Water and Salicylic Acid aka BHA. Salicylic Acid is a chemical exfoliator, it helps with blackheads. It also contains Sodium Hyaluronate and Saccharomyces Ferment - good moisturizers, in general, the ampoule has only about 10 ingredients and it's quite a mild formula (in general BHA is not as strong as AHA). According to brand, you should see the difference in 4-weeks, starting from using the ampoule 5 times per week then on 4 times and then only 3 times. I started to use this ampoule as much as I need. This ampoule won't shrink your pores because it's impossible - we can only "fake" the image of pores by cleaning it and that's why we use this solution - the pores are cleaner and the skin seems to have fewer problems with acne while using this BHA solution. It has a delicate scent which you shouldn't feel. The glass packaging got me this time, to sum up - it's an interesting product and a good alternative for everyone with blackheads who prefer milder solutions.

Over the course of quarantine
Over the course of quarantine I have noticed that my pores have gotten huge and noticed some blackheads. My skin was always something I was very confident about, actually, one of the few things. So you could imagine how the decline in skin quality effected my self image. I have been trying my best to get back to where I was. This weeks miracle saver was Peace Out Pores. PEACE OUT - Peace Out Pores Yes it’s a little pricy, but if you are struggling with enlarged pores and/or blackheads it is 100% worth the price. My teenage younger brother even tried and noticed a large difference.

Blackhead removing nose strips
Blackhead removing nose strips
Watsons Nose Pore Strip Charcoal. It’s a nose strip blackhead removing strip with witchhazel extract. It works pretty good. You wet your nose out it on and wait 15 minutes. It’s very satisfying to take it off and see the blackheads. It smells really good. The consistency is good. It works. It has a few bad ingredients I guess and I don’t really like that. Made in Korea. Worth it. It’s 10 strips and I got it about a year agoin the Philippines for very cheap. Recommend it to people who look for blackhead removal on the nose. 4 out of 5 stars. Can’t tag the product. Brand: Watsons product: nose pore strips.
