Why I gave up on my Clinique Regimen
Clinique was a brand I admired from my teenage years. I saw that my sister never let her stockpile of Clinique products run out. It was like an addiction to her! I had different skin then she did so I stuck with my Neutrogena, Aloe Vera, Shea Butter, Vaseline and Clean & Clear. When I hit 30, I decided to buy some Self Care items for myself and noticed that Clinique was having a sale. So, I bought them and decided to try them. Here is my experience with this regimen: CLINIQUE - Facial Soap Extra Mild

Review my PM Routine
Hi 👋 This is my first post. I’m 35 year old mom of two and looking to up my skincare regime. I’ve started to notice signs of aging, fine lines around my eye & forehead, and definitely dark circles and fatigue. Most of my routine is Clinique because I’ve used it since I was a teen and my mom uses Clinique. I’ve recently added a serum and eye serum and tried some the Ordinary products because they are affordable. But I’d love some advice on how to target fine lines / wrinkles and fatigue. I’ve heard a lot about Vitamin C. What new products should I try? My current routine with winter approaching: CLINIQUE - 7 Day Scrub Cream Rinse-Off Formula I’ve been using this as a daily exfoliator. It’s gentle. Not sure if necessary 🤷🏻♀️ I might try an acid exfoliator next. CLINIQUE - Jumbo Liquid Facial Soap Mild my go to cleanser. No complaints CLINIQUE - Clarifying Lotion 1.0 Twice A Day Exfoliator I have forever used this as part of Clinique 3 Step. No complaints. Might try an alcohol free toner next. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG I’ve been using this AM & PM for two weeks. I’ve found it easily absorbs and is easy to apply. I like that it has no fragrance. But, I haven’t noticed any difference to my dark circles. I think I’ll try an eye cream next. CLINIQUE - Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator I’ve recently swapped out my Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer for the Moisture Surge and I love it. Living in Canada my furnace is alreadyvon and my skin has started feeling dry. This moisturizer feels great and leaves my skin feeling hydrated the next morning The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I recently purchased this to add to my routine. I have used Kai Rosehip oil in the past and liked it. What are your thoughts on facial oils? Part of a regular PM routine? Looking forward to advice & recommendations. I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of researching skincare products!
Easy 3-step Morning Skincare Routine for a Busy Lifestyle！Only 5 mins！👏👏
In the busy morning, you get up a bit late, but you find that you don't have skin care. When you think about the necessary steps such as washing your face, apply toner, lotion, essence and cream, you will worry that You have no time. At this time, if there is a quick skin care process, so that you can complete all the necessary procedures within five minutes, would you be happy? I am a very typical oily skin. In continuous experiments, I found that the tedious skin care process is not necessarily a good thing for me, but sometimes it will increase the burden on the skin. So I found some products that can complete all the necessary skin care steps in three steps, saving time and effort. STEP 1 CLINIQUE - CLINIQUE Liquid Facial Soap $19 Step 1 in our customized 3-Step Skincare System is the most basic cleansing step in skin care. The product is Soft, not dry, and has loose foam, which can remove dirt and debris and protect the natural moisture balance of skin. There are many choices, which can be chosen according to one's skin. STEP 2 CLINIQUE - Clarifying Lotion 1.0 Twice A Day Exfoliator$20 After the first step, the second step is Clarifying Lotion. It can remove pollution, dirt and dull thin slices, revealing smoother and clearer skin. Its main ingredients is Witch Hazel, which is a kind of skin purifier, making skin feel cool, fresh and clean. It is very suitable for oily skin. This product is suitable to be used in the morning and evening after cleansing. Apply with a cotton ball, and gently sweep over face and neck. STEP 3 CLINIQUE - Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel$80 This is a daily moisturizing gel that is great for all skin types. At the same time, as the last step of our skin care, this product can provide sufficient protection and block the moisture of our skin. The formula developed by dermatologists combines the ingredients of non-oil-water cooperation and skin strengthening. Your daily moisturizer will help your skin look younger and last longer.
Perfect for dry skin
I don’t know what it is about my face but most moisturizers it soaks up the moisture for an hour and it goes back to being dry. With this product my face will be hydrated and soft all day no problem! This product also gives my face a glow to it and I love it!
Giveaway with Some Favorites💕
I have sensitive combination skin and I’ve found that these work really well for my skin and this amika product is awesome as well so I’m giving them away to one lucky winner on my Instagram! 💕Sand & Sky Enzyme Powder Polish is a gentle exfoliant with kaolin to remove impurities from the skin. It starts as a powder and then you add a bit of water and it turns into a pink foam as you rub it gently on your cleansed skin. Definitely my favorite physical exfoliant! ✨These Youth to the People products are great for dryness and sensitive skin as well. This is the mini set and the mini spray is too cute. 🍊I haven’t tried this Good Molecules oil yet so the winner will have to let me know how it is but their products are supposed to be great and are also affordable! ✨I wanted to give back so this is on my Instagram with the handle @facebareskincare✨ You just have to follow and tag a friend!
How they get you to spend more 💰
Hey there! So when I started my skincare journey I was a Clinique skincare line junkie. I loved the idea of having a customized routine that I could build based on my skin concerns! But I recognized that I was going through the product a lot faster than I should've been.. A few years later I've swapped my routine and done extensive skincare research and I realized that these brands often tell you to WAY MORE than you need to! They tell you to use retinols, AHAs, and masks EVERYDAY in order to see results, but in reality most of these products need to be used once or twice a week. They also suggest using multiple pumps of product to slather it all on, when maybe you need a pea sized amount. A lot of these products are also formulated to counteract what the other ones do. What I mean by this is they makeup for the shortfalls of eachother. Take this Clinique line for example: the facewash didn't get all of my makeup off and left my skin dry the toner then got at the makeup that was often leftover and made my skin even drier the moisturizer then moisturized my skin but often led to clogging my pores, causing me to wash my face more Now I'm not saying that you shouldn't use full skincare lines, but just be conscious of the active ingredients and how often and in what quantities you should be using them. Do your research and save your hard earned money 💰💚
SPECIAL DISCOUNT CODE for all my followers!
I wanted to dedicate a post about the FIRST EVER products that got me into clean skincare over 3 years ago and now they are offering my followers a special DISCOUNT CODE “CELINE15” ✨I was introduced to TruSelf Organics through the beautiful Jennifer Stano (influencer) who would rave about the company often and I took that as a sign to start my skincare journey! I was SO pleasantly surprised when I found out how affordable quality skincare can actually be! These were the first two products that I tried and my skin instantly fell in love... Product: •Clear Skin Foaming Cleanser is the most lightweight and gentle foaming cleanser I have ever used! The formula contains tea tree oil, organic aloe vera, lemon essential oil, and organic coconut, sunflower, and olive oil. ✨Tea Tree Oil: nourishes and tones the skin while reducing redness and inflammation. ✨Aloe Vera: soothes skin and reduces inflammation. It also contains antioxidants, enzymes, Vitamins A and C. ✨Olive, Coconut, Sunflower Oil: moisturizes skin and fights bacteria. •Ocean Mineral Moisturizer is a lightweight moisturizing cream that offers natural UV protection, contains anti-aging properties, and stimulates skin cell renewal and collagen production. My thoughts: I’ve been using these two products longer than any other skincare product I own and I had to share it with you guys! •The Ocean Mineral Moisturizer is the most hydrating yet lightweight cream I’ve ever used. I have dry and sensitive skin and this is one of the only moisturizers that doesn’t clog my pores and deeply hydrates my skin, while keeping the moisture locked in. I use this moisturizer daily and my skin looks smoother and more hydrated than EVER before! •The Clear Skin Foaming Cleanser is my favorite cleanser to this day. My skin started clearing up after only a week of using this cleanser. It literally feels like a cloud touching your skin, it’s that lightweight and gentle. It does such a thorough job at cleansing off my makeup or any excess dirt or oil I might have. ✨I am so happy that agreed to give my followers a special discount code so you guys can try it out for yourselves and see what I’m talking about! For anyone who is interested in this special offer, the DISCOUNT CODE is “CELINE15” Side Note: These products are vegan and cruelty-free!🌱🐰
