🏵Gotta love Rosehip Oil! 🌹
I went browsing through MOMS organic looking at their selection of makeup and hair care products when I came across this oil which was on sale for the low low. So, I purchased it, used it for a month or so and i honestly liked it a lot. It wasn’t super shiny on my face and very lightweight. The smell wasn’t overwhelming and it made my skin feel so good. If my face could have thanked me, it would have! This product is a must have. I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite oils on the market today. ACURE - The Essentials Rosehip Oil

🌹Rose hip oil 🥀
ACURE - The Essentials Rosehip Oil rose hip oil has anti aging properties and reduces scars as well as helping with hyperpigmentation ✨ it is a dry oil and absorbs very fast - I usually put it under my moisturizer or heavier serums rose hip oil is derived from the seeds of wild rose bushes (specifically three species of roses). Not to be confused with rose oil (essential oil derived from the petals not seeds) 🌹 I like the feeling of the rose hip oil it is very silky and has a pleasant smell. Doesn’t cause any acne or side effects ( I generally react to anything with rose in it but this doesn’t effect me) it ranges from a golden orange 🍊to reddish hue 🍎- if it’s lighter or pale in color it’s most likely not cold pressed or from a cheaper source. I like acure and this is a nice orangey color, cold pressed so it’s a good source. lots of products also use rose hip oil in their serums so you can also use it as part of a combination of other beneficial oils. 🌟
This is a MUST
I have acne prone oily skin, and a lot of people with my skin type may think that adding more oil or using oil based products my cause more breakouts or it is bad for their skin. And while that is true for some types of very heavy oils Rosehip Oil is not one of those! Rosehip oils is a very light and fast absorbing oil that doesn’t leave a “greasy” residue. Some of the benefits of Rosehip oil includes Works to nourish the skin and protect the skins natural barrier Has natural anti-inflammatory properties that can help with acne scars, red marks, and repair broken and damaged skin Works as a natural Retinol alternative! Therefore has anti-aging properties Rosehip oil is naturally loaded with Vit C which with continued use can help lighten and brighten skin and dark marks caused by acne. Personally I use this ACURE - The Essentials Rosehip Oil at night for a little extra boost in non-heavy moisture before bed. I love the way my skin feels in the morning after using this oil the night before. It does not clog my pores or make me break out and is relatively affordable. As with any new product you introduce into your skin care routine, start slowly and patch test to see if you have any sensitivity. Everyone’s skin is different, but if you have skin like mine it might be worth looking at adding Rosehip oil to your routine! ☺️
tired of chafing thighs?
I was getting so irritated with the way my the tops of thighs would rub together, even in jeans. It would literally hurt so bad! When shipping I came across these products by MegaBabe! The one I would recommend over the other is the thigh rescue anti friction stick. This product is formulated with aloe, pomegranate, and grape seed oil that not only creates a smooth slide when you’re legs rub but also helps hydrated the skin there. This product comes in a deodorant like packaging making it super easy to apply to the inner thighs, or wherever you are getting chafing. I put this on in the morning and it withstands a full 8 hour shift of walking around. This product is also formulated without parabens & aluminum. megababe - Thigh Rescue The boob powder is just okay. It does help but I find it’s really messy to apply and I don’t find myself using it as much because of this. megababe - Bust Dust
Say goodbye to razor bumps!👌🏻
There’s nothing better than getting into a clean bed with freshly shaved legs! 💖The only problem with shaving is those pesky red bumps that come along with it. 🥺 I have finally found the power duo that work to keep those bumps away! Exfoliating before shaving is really important not only to get a nice clean shave but to also make sure you don’t cut yourself as well! Many scrubs will work fine but I have found this one by First Aid Beauty actually helps to also chemically exfoliate which then stops the red bumps from forming afterwards! I think we all have used that super foamy shaving cream once in our lives and that’s find for the face but can be really messy and irritating for us gals with how much we need to use for our legs. I found this one by EOS going on more as a thick lotion and really helps keep my legs hydrated even after I have shaved. It’s also made for sensitive skin so it won’t cause any irritation! All in all I think these two products work wonders together and I don’t see myself using anything else to shave with from now on! LOCK IN MOISTURE🔐🤍
SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Body Lotion SheaMoisture - 100% Virgin Coconut Oil Daily Hydration Body Oil 〰️ i picked up some @sheamoisture products during my target run! the last time i used this brand was (if i remember correctly, in high school...6 years ago wtf LOL) if you struggle with dry, flaky skin this could help you lock in moisture! 〰️at first i was looking for a lotion that would simply do the trick, but focusing more on Black skincare brands i thought about @sheamoisture and literally walked aisle to aisle to find their lotion. I found it at the end of the aisle, and right next to it was their 100% virgin coconut oil body oil. I was hesitant bc ive never used a hydration oil before. i asked my bf like 20 times if i should try it and he said to take the dang thing so i did LOL. 〰️i will tell you now i dont regret it one BIT!! I honestly like the body oil way more that the lotion (the lotion is 💯 dont get me wrong)!! 〰️ B O D Y O I L apply and rub a few drops on to your skin. The oil glides perfectly; not too thick and not too oily. This oil gives you such a nice glow; i have had compliments on the glow game 😩👏🏽 after a nice hot shower i get excited to do this part of my routine. i also add a drop on to the back of my hands bc ya girl flaky. it does a great job locking in moisture and keeping my skin glowing and hydrated without the feel of being an oily mess! 〰️ B O D Y L O T I O N This is also a great product to use and pairs well with the body oil. The texture is thicc!! It pumps out like “〰️➰➿” does that make sense LOL application is so satisfying. I usually apply this second bc it is thicker and it glides better when the oil is already set. Give your body a good massage 🤤 even tho the texture is thicc, it is still breathable and wont make your skin feel trapped! 〰️ I N G R E D I E N T S organic raw shea butter, coconut oil and milk, acacia senegal gum (helps with locking in the moisture and soothes the skin!) *products bought with my own money, my reviews are honest to the touch hunny

Clean Deo That Actually Works
If you’ve ever tried a natural deo, you know that they’re either pretty much useless, or make you smell good for maybe a couple hours. My outlook on clean deodorant was pretty bleak until the new Kosas AHA serum deo came into my life! •This formula claims to be stain-free, has a blend of AHAs to target odor at its source, and helps prevent ingrown hairs. •It comes in a fragrance-free and Serene Clean scent. •I’ve ruined my fair share of shirts with oil based deodorants so I was so happy when this deodorant actually lived up to its claim of being stain-free! •Because of the lightweight gel, watery feel of this formula it rolls on beautifully and doesn't feel, or look like you have anything under your arms. •I was also pleasantly surprised with how long it keep me feeling fresh, depending on your level of activity you could apply this once in the morning and be good to go for a low activity day. If you're planning a more strenuous day I find that I usually have to reapply towards the end of the day. Overall this is by far the most effective clean deodorant, and I totally recommend trying it! (my favorite scent is the Serene Clean, but I find Fragrance-Free just as effective.)

Are Your Armpits Discolored?
Towards the end of June, my mom made a comment about how I should be using aluminum-free deodorants, so I decided to give NATIVE - Waterlily & Orchid Deodorant a try. I liked the smell and it shouldn’t be that hard to switch up deodorants, right? It’s now almost September and I have to say...I HATE WEARING NATURAL DEODORANT! Maybe it’s just this brand, in particular? I’m not sure, but a few nights ago I was HORRIFIED when I looked in the mirror and saw that my underarms had changed color. How had I not noticed this before? I felt disgusting and immediately hopped in the shower to wash under there real good. Upon doing a little more research on “natural” deodorants, I found that this is actually not an uncommon occurrence. Baking soda is one of the most common ingredients found in natural deodorants. This ingredient is highly alkaline, falling at a 9 on a scale of 1-14 (1 being more acidic). Skin has an acidic pH, landing between 5 and 6. When baking soda mixes with acid it can cause irritation resulting in discoloration, rashes, itchiness... I’ve never had an issue with underarm discoloration before trying natural deodorant and I’m so tempted to give up on it altogether, but I am going to try out the brand Curie. I seriously hope that I have better results with this brand, but I have little hope for that. Stay tuned! I’ll most likely report on Curie within the month!

I’d rather get coal than flamingo - BODY WAX KIT When I heard about Flamingo I was excited to see a women’s shave brand also including wax in their lineup. I prefer wax over shaving, although I rely on a combo purely out of convenience. Unfortunately, these gave an all-around awful experience. I’ve used a lot of different waxes in a lot of different forms, and this was far and away the worst; it was both painful *and* ineffective! Each pull would only remove about 15% of the hair it covered. It left my legs red and angry and the individual follicles were inflamed for a week afterward. I followed all of Flamingo’s directions and tried on a few separate occasions to try to get them to work, but it was just an all-around fail. I used it on both fine and coarse hair, at different lengths, in different directions, etc. I’ve had great experiences with Flamingo’s customer service and love their lotion and shaving cream, but the waxes are a major miss. I’ve spoken to many people with similar experiences so hopefully they consider reformulating in the future!
