The best oil cleanser I have tried!
I have been enjoying this cleansing oil for months now that I am near emptying it and almost forgot to post about it. The Hada Labo Gokujun Cleansing Oil is hands down my favorite cleansing oil for my first cleanse. It is infused with hyaluronic acid and concentrated olive oil as well as jojoba oil which not only effectively rids skin of impurities and even waterproof makeup but also retains moisture. It is gentle and non-abrasive. It has no artificial colorings, mineral oils, essential oils, alcohol and fragrance. It is non-irritating and does not sting. Viscosity is pretty thin and feels almost watery but you still feel that oiliness in your hands. A little goes a long way and it is very easy to spread across the face. Like any cleansing oil/balm, this one also emulsifies and turn into a milky texture/color once you wash it off with water. Make sure your hands are dry when you use this though as it will immediately react to water. It is not expensive and you can also buy refills online. Although I am not sure if it helps with sustainability since the refill it comes in I think is in a plastic container? Hada Labo is a Japanese brand and the japanese trend is all about mochi skin which is skin that is soft, supple, plump and bouncy also known as 'mochi hada' or rice-cake skin owing to the soft and plump Japanese dessert. While korean glass skin mainly focuses on dewy and flawless skin, mochi skin is all about attaining a bouncy texture for the skin. Dr. Dray also raved about it on youtube. l - Hadalabo Gokujun Cleansing Oil 200ml

For acne-prone and sensitive skin
Introducing... a "special" skincare line that targets sensitive and/or acne-prone skin! The AC Collection by @cosrx. Though I don't have oily acne prone skin, I decided to try these because I have dry acne prone skin. I am not going to discuss in detail about the ingeredients but basically it has their trademarked CentellAC-RX which is a blend of 3 diff Centella Asiatic derived ingredients to provide moisture, heal blemishes and strengthen the skin barrier. In order to fully feel what these products can do, I decided to stop all of the products I have been using and just use these in replacement of my usual am and pm routine. For the 2 weeks that I got to use these, I can say that it has actually calmed my skin down. Although I cannot claim for now that it has stopped my breakouts completely but for that amount of time it has calmed my skin. No irritations, no new breakouts, it has even flattened my 2 big pimples and products did not sting. It is a bit early to see overall results but I will do an individual review later of my experiences with each as I continue to use the products. 🌿Calming Foam Cleanser: As all foam cleansers are on my skin, they will be a bit drying if I'm not careful, so with this one, I just use a pea sized amount. Did not feel stripped, no squeaky clean feeling and it actually feels more hydrating than my other foaming facial wash (Pime) 🌿Calming Liquid Mild: This felt a bit drying for me when I use it right after the foam cleanser. It has a strong tea tree oil scent when you first open it but (which I don't really mind) it goes away quickly as you put it on your skin. The fragrance gives me a feeling of cleanliness..like what I'm putting on my skin is sterile 😆 🌿Blemish Spot Clearing Serum: Different in texture from my usual serums. This one is more watery which I'm not used to. It does not leave a tacky feeling which I like. Too early to tell if it has done anything but I'm liking this one and curious to see if it does anything at all after some time of use. But it has really good ingredients in it. 🌿Ultimate Spot Cream: Very rich and thick texture. I pack it on my pimples and I could feel it helps soothe it. It does not irritate and flattens them out the next day. This is actually my second spot cream, my first one was neutrogena which sad to say did not really do anything for me so I'm excited to use more of this. 🌿Lightweight moisturizer: This can be likened to those water cream moisturizers or gel creams. I like that this feela good and soothes my skin but I prefer more creamier and heavy ones especially at night. I feel like this would be more perfect for oily skin as it is very hydrating but not heavy. When I used this, I had to put facial oil on top as the last step otherwise I would feel like going crazy from the lack of that hydrated moisturized feeling. It is not drying, no tight feeling but I like my skin glistening with moisture and super hydrated 😂 Overall I love the AC Collection!

Not so fave blush
❌ My not so favorite powder blush would have to be from Elf Cosmetics . It's not as pigmented as I would like and the color does not really show on my face. but rather it’s all shimmery.. and I don’t want shimmery cheeks 😆 not sure how I can explain it but I expected it to be pigmentes but it dissapoints. The swatch looks really nice though on my wrist 😀 Have not dared try any other blushes from Elf after this one. Has anyone tried this one or any other from Elf? How do you like it?
Beautiful Cargo blush
❣️ This would be my second most favorite powder blush in my stash. It is by Cargo Cosmetics and the range of shades is called Coral Beach. It has all these nice coral hues which you can also use as a highlighter. I just usually mix them all together. To get that perfect blush for me but I just have to be careful coz they are all so pigmented that it would be too orange on my cheeks. I would definitely have a hard time panning this as I tend to go more for subtle blushes but very on love with this! ❤️

Holy Grail blush!
❣️One of my favorite powder blushes would have to be the Tender Blush line by Estee Lauder. As you can see it's almost panned out. It's in the shade Fresh Plum and it's a really pretty dark pinkish shade that just looks good on my skin color. It is pigmented and not patchy, goes on like a dream and is long wearing. I seriously would be sad when it’s all gone!

Heavenly butter bronzer!
One of my fave drugstore bronzers would have to be the Butter Bronzer by Physician’s Formula 🌴 A drugstore brand which is ultra luxurious and infused with Murumuru Butter that delivers a radiant Brazilian glow! Murumuru butter is often used as moisturizer so the texture is creamy and soft and gives a gorgeous bronze finish. 🌴 I like how it is not dark or orangey but a subtle or light brown that it somehow gives a glow rather than a harsh contour. This product goes a long way and goodness have you smelled this bronzer?? If you love coconuts or the smell of coconuts then this one is heavenly! 😍 I cannot use this without smelling it!👃 😅 One thing I’m not too crazy about though is it’s applicator or brush if you can call it that. I can’t describe it but swipe to the last image o see. 🌴 Hope everybody's having a great! ❤️

WORTH THE $$$: SAVED MY TEXTURED/SCARRED SKIN
SKINCEUTICALS - Retexturing Activator Face Exfoliator -$82 Key ingredients: - Hyaluronic acid: plumps the skin to restore fine lines etc. - Amino acids: Anti-aging benefits - Glycolic acid: exfoliant; improves texture of the skin - Kombucha: promotes radiant and soft skin What it does: - Resurfaces and replenishes the skin by promoting exfoliation - Helps rid fine lines for a smoother appearance - Increases radiance Why I bought it: - I bought this product initially to help with unwanted, uneven textured skin left behind from acne scarring. Product details: - This serum is clear with no noticeable smell. It is not thick but also not thin. I do not find it sticky after being applied. How I use it: - I use a few drop of this serum in the morning before my heavier creams/serums. I apply it all over my face and even extend it down on to my neck. Results: - As far as scarring goes, this product has made a HUGE difference in the appearance of dark marks. It has evened out my skin texture noticeably but I think with continued use it can do more. I have noticed my skin tone to be more radiant as it claims. As far as fine lines go, I use other products for fine lines so I do not think it’s fair to give a review in that category. (I have been using this product for close to a year now) Would I repurchase/recommend? - If you are looking to fix textured skin left behind from scarring etc. I would say this product is for you. The price is a little on the high end but I have not found a product that can deliver the same results as this one did (if you have one, let me know.) For that reason I will be repurchasing. #CheriePartner

BATTLE OF THE CREAM BLUSH. $20 vs $13
Powder blush who? Cream blush is the new “black.” ;) Cream blush has become really popular lately and there is so many to chose from. Let’s compare two compact cream blushes. TOWER 28 - BeachPlease Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm This is a “balm” that you can use pretty much anywhere. A cream blush does the same, it’s just a matter of name of the product. Shade shown is Happy Hour. made with Green Tea extract for calming the skin Aloe Vera extract hydrated and soothes the skin silicone free. Completely plant based vegan. DEWY. Gives a luminous glow. buildable pigment. can be applied with fingers, sponge, brush. (I prefer brush) little goes a long way. very creamy almost melted like texture. LAST ALL DAY. (This was surprising to me, but it does last all day) cute packaging, VERY HARD TO OPEN. I’ve messed up my blush with my finger nail from trying to open. 3 shades $20 - worth the price. Sold on their website and Sephora. HONEST - Crème Cheek Blush This is a traditional type of cream blush. It’s very lightweight compared to tower28. Shade shown is Plum Drop. made with raspberry, blackberry, and grapefruit extract. buildable pigment. Starts off very sheer, but can easily be built up. lightweight no parabens, talc, paraffins, petroleum, mineral oil, or synthetic fragrance. has more of a waxy feeling. dewy finish, but much more natural and matte compared to tower28. compact comes with mirror 4+ shades $13 and sold at target, Walgreens, urban outfitters, ulta and more. Very much worth it! So which one is better? If I had to choose, I’d pick honest beauty. It’s more affordable, packaging is easier to open and has a mirror. There is more color options and it’s simply just a touch bit more comfy to wear, a little less shiny. I’ll still keep buying tower28, but honest beauty takes the win for this one when it comes to more bang for your buck!

A couple products that cleared my skin
BANISH - PUMPKIN ENZYME MASQUE I used this 2-4 times a week and it really helped get rid of most of my acne but I didn’t see results til a couple weeks after using this so if u want a mask that will really help to fight away acne and even out ur skin tone and texture this is the one for u. Unfortunately I just ran out of this but will get more soon😁. BANISH - Vitamin C Serum This serum is from the same brand as the mask and if ur looking for a really powerful and good vitiman c serum I would really recommend this cause it really helped calm down infflamation and every single time I used this I would wake up with a glow. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it’s really strong so sometimes it irritated my skin and would cause redness by my nose but if ur skin is not really sensitive then you will probably be fine.Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser I cannot talk about this cleanser enough! Since I have oily and acne prone skin used to always go for products that would get rid of some of my acne but it would end up drying and damaging my skin. And this was the first cleanser I used that didn’t leave my skin what I thought was “clean” but it left my skin hydrated and it felt nourished and balanced. And not only that but all the ingredients are so good for your skin and since using this cleanser I actually get excited to wash my face😂 I recommend this for all skin types and I Typically use this as a second cleanser but I heard it’s pretty good at taking of makeup too. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% This serum I got because my favorite YouTuber James welsh LOVES this stuff and I have the same skin type as him and I really just trust his oppions so I thought I would give it a try. It was alright it helped out even out my skin tone and clam my inflammation down a little bit but zinc is claimed to control oil and acne but I didn’t really see a lot of that when using this. But for the price it is pretty good but it’s just my opinion I know a lot of other people love this stuff it just wasn’t a game changer for me. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner This toner combined with the discoloration serumGOOD MOLECULES - Discoloration Correcting Serum is like magic. I especially like the toner because it has a lot of other brightening and over all skin strengthening ingredients in it and the serum is ok but when you put them togther they work wonders🤩 And especially for the price point it is a steal. This is just what worked for my skin just know that everybody’s skin is different and what works for me might now work for you👍🏼

Help Please !
My face is all clear besides my forehead very insecure but if anyone sees this please help or give tips. I recently started using the CeraVe Daily Lightweight Moisturizing Lotion and the CeraVe Renewing SA Cleanser. Ever since the pandemic started, I broke out badly and it hasn’t been cleared up.
Is the Milk Hydro Grip Primer worth it? weartest
What are your thoughts on primers? Honestly for a long time I thought they were useless. They dried out my skin and caused terrible breakouts. Until I heard ALL THE HYPE about this primer and tried it out! This is my second travel bottle of Milk’s Hydro Grip Primer: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer I have pretty dry skin so my main goal throughout the day is to stay hydrated—I hate when my makeup clings to and accentuates my dry spots. So let’s do a wear test, shall we?! Application—8:30 AM: Today is a work day so I’m up and I’m just doing my usual—spot concealing my acne scars and any current redness or breakouts with my holy grail concealer which is Milk’s Flex concealer formula: Milk MAKEUP - Flex Concealer. I am working with the general public still so my face will be covered by a mask, so I’m only concealing—no blush or bronzer or foundation. I dot the concealer on the areas of my face I want it to cover the most and let it sit for a few minutes, then stipple blend it out with a dense foundation brush. The primer is STICKY so the concealer on that side has a little more coverage. You can see in the photo I still have texture, which I wasn’t trying to avoid anyway, but no dry spots! Yay! Note my little pimple on my smile line on the primer side, which is MY LEFT (your right :)). External forces: I still have to leave my house to go to work nowadays, so I have to wear a mask over my face—this subjects my skin to friction. Even more of a test for the primer 😉 but luckily my masks are not uncomfortable so I don’t mind! I don’t feel itchy or irritated on my primer side during the whole day. I don’t feel terribly irritated on my non-primed side either, but I can see the concealer starting to flake off on my cheeks. Wear test complete—4:30 PM: I get home from work to asses the damage. Face mask indents aside, my smile line pimple looks COVERED still! The places where my mask was rubbing have less coverage, but the side that wasn’t primed is definitely more red. My goal was to stop dryness but it helped longevity wise too! Final thoughts: I love this primer omg! If you are a normal to dry skin type with dry acne spots this keeps your skin hydrated and flake/crepe free. It also has a slight cooling sensation due to its cool gel formula and texture. I would recommend trying a mini or getting a sample before purchasing, as always. Rating: 5/5. This is one of the only face primers I care to use that I trust!
