I'm so basic when it comes to my eyeshadows.. taupes, pinks, and mauves all with cool undertones is all you'll ever see me wear. But I decided that I need to break out of my comfort zone... So I ended up getting the JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette and my eye makeup games has never been the same! With the right mix mattes, shimmers, and glitter shades this is one of the most versatile palettes I have ever used! There's enough nude and neutral shads that you could create a full neutral look if you wanted, which makes this a great palette to travel with. Now, how do you incorporate blue into your eye makeup? I started with pops of blue here or there before diving into a whole blue eye look. A little blue on the lower lash line! A pop of it in the inner corner! There are so many ways to incorporate these beautiful colours without looking like a clown 🤡 The packaging is a little bulky, but also stunning. This was my first JSC palette, and I am obsessed with the colour payoff I get from these!! 💙 Will I repurchase - I haven't hit pan yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if I got another one! I have since purchased the mini controversy and blood lust palette because I love the shadows (reviews to come) *All makeup photos are not mine. This is such a debated Halloween topic!! Candy corn or no candy corn? I’m on the candy corn side. I’m okay with it. You can give me all your candy corn 😂 I’ve always wanted to do a candy corn eye look and this was my first attempt! It’s not bad but practice makes perfect! I purchased the e.l.f. - e.l.f. x JKissa To The Rescue Eyeshadow Palette which I thought would be a perfect orange base for this look. This palette is adorable! It has a hard white cover but the kicker is it comes with stickers you can use to decorate the palette! (Though does anyone else have that “I can’t use stickers because once they are stuck they are stuck” anxiety?). It has a beautiful row of bright rainbow colors, a muted row of rainbow colors (I’m in love with this muted row), and a shimmer row of rainbow colors. The matte shades are Phenomenal! For $20 I’m really impressed with e.l.f’s matte formula. All the shades are pigmented, blend well, and last well on the eyes. It’s the shimmers that are disappointing. They don’t pop as much as you’d want from a shimmer shade. If anything they seem more metallic. I just wasn’t a fan. For this look I started off with using the KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Shake Primer High-Impact Invisible Eyeshadow Primer . This eyeshadow primer creates a great base of pack on shadows. I took the shade Zuma (muted orange) from the JKissa palette and packed that into the outer crease and blended up. Then I took Millie (bright orange) on a shader brush and packed that onto the outer lid. Then I took the shade Yosemite (bright yellow) on a packer brush and popped that on the center lid. Hindsight is 2020 and in the future I think I would start with the yellow as I had a hard time layering it over the orange. I ended up losing a lot of that yellow color. Then I took the shade Cullinan from the JEFFREE STAR COSMETICS - Blue Blood Eyeshadow Palette on my finger and packed that on the inner lid. I also took all three shades separately on a flat brush and packed them along the lash line to continue the color story. The eye look was super easy and something I want to try and perfect in the future. After the eyeshadow was done I went in with my KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Tattoo Liner (which is the best brush tip eyeliner on the market. I find this to be the absolute easiest to use and perfect winged liner with) to create a wing shape. I finished off the look with my holy grail benefit - Roller Lash Curling & Lifting Mascara to add some length and curl to my lashes. I want to try and recreate this look for Halloween. I feel like it’s festive but wearable. What is everyone else doing for their make up for Halloween?

Grabbed a few goodies from Sephora. To say I’m obsessed with skincare is an understatement. Will review once I’ve tried everything but I went ahead and gave the rare beauty foundation three stars off the bat because the color match is fantastic and the consistency is nice and light which I’m hoping is perfect for everyday. Okay so hear me out, the actual formula of this liner is out of this world! I had tried this campaign shoot with another liner that claimed it was smudge proof but as soon as that water from the bubbles ran down my face the liner made it look like I was crying, desperate housewives style. So I redid the whole look and tried the HUDA BEAUTY - Life Liner Double Ended Eyeliner Liquid & Pencil and Im blown away! The formulation is incredible, super opaque, and will not move even when I scratched my eye! Even with water running down my face! The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the applicator tip, it’s this little brush tip that just wasn’t doing it for me :( luckily I had these small nail art brushes that fit into the container and used them to line out the liner. Fantastic formula and I love that it includes a pencil liner on the other end as well.
