How to choose tinted moisturizers? Ultimate Guide!
Nars This non-greasy mattifying product plumps the skin while nourishing it with vitamins C and E. At first glance, its velvety texture appears very pigmented but, once applied to the skin, it is surprisingly light and buildable - offering enough of coverage to camouflage redness and imperfections while letting freckles shine through. It also provides extra-long wear without clogging pores or drying out skin throughout the day. Chantecaille If you want tinted skincare that can do it all, this is it. It has sufficient coverage, has an SPF 15 protection factor and is packed with antioxidants such as thyme and buddleja extract. It is a perfect product for everyday use, especially if you work in an office where the air conditioning is very powerful, as it also contains sodium hyaluronate which fights drought. Paula's Choice Paula's Choice products focus on effective active ingredients that truly improve the appearance of the skin. This tinted moisturizer is slightly covering and will need to be accompanied by a concealer if you want to hide some imperfections. Its main asset is its powerful blend of anti-aging ingredients, including resveratrol, as well as an SPF 30. Natura Bisse This tinted moisturizer contains a cocktail of powerful ingredients to combat the effects of stress and aging, while wonderfully illuminating the complexion. Its formula contains innovative pigments suitable for light to medium skin, and its whipped texture allows the product to melt deliciously on the skin for a uniform and natural result. Charlotte Tilbury Using an SPF every day (as we should) often means that our face ends up being a shade or two lighter than the rest of our body. Does that speak to you? The answer lies in this mixed product. As this cream is melted on the skin, it releases pigments that work with our own skin tone. Besides, it hydrates the skin without making it oily thanks to its hydration regulating properties. Don't forget to spread it out around the neck to ensure an invisible transition. Nudestix Blur Stick It's a tinted moisturizer stick! Truly unique – it looks like a tinted primer, but can be applied in seconds. It offers everything one expects from a tinted moisturizer - enhances the color of the complexion, harmonizes and hydrates - but also brings a sublime glow thanks to its particles which diffuse the light.

Nail stickers are decorations in the form of patches sticking to the nail to make personalized nails. This fashion from Asia is making people happy at a low price. 🤩Your manicures are embellished with stickers, and you dress your nails for your fancy dress or theme parties. They are also used to hide small flaws after applying varnish. Tips for using nail stickers Be careful with the installation of small nail stickers because they are fragile and could tear. To take them off the board, start with the bottom part, gently scraping with the tip of the tweezer. Make sure it adheres perfectly by pressing down with your finger. The protruding pieces can be filed or cut with a jaw pliers. Brands recommend for you. Olive & June If you are obsessed with tropical vibes, don’t miss this brand! Nontoxic Nail Polishes at Every Price💅🏻 Avoid 3 risky ingredients!
It is important to avoid the ingredients which are linked to certain health problems (asthma, allergies, reproductive system disorder, cancer, etc.). The good news is that there are more and more non-toxic nail products available: 3-free, 5-free or, better yet, 8,9 and 10-free nail polishes which are free of all harmful ingredients. Here are some suggestions and tips for you! My Beloved Non-toxic brands Olive & June Nail Polish - $8 10 Free Chemistry Clean Nail Color - $18 Ella + Mila Elite Nail Polish -$11 Pacifica 7 Free Nail Color - $9 Static Nails - $16 I also recommend the nail polish colors which I'm obsessed with recently! My favorite one is the liquid glass nail polish from Static: bohemian blue. This liquid glass nail poloish is formulated with a breakthrough formula loaded with rich pigments and natural antioxidants for a healthy manicure. So long lasting and beautiful! just like they were done professionally. Risky ingredients you should avoid Toluene It is one of the most widely used products in the composition of so-called "classic" nail polishes. It is a solvent widely used in industry. It dissolves resins, oils, or fats. In the case of nail polish, it makes them easier to apply ... and it is he who is responsible for their characteristic smell! Basically, toluene, in addition to causing allergies, it's coconut. Formaldehydes These are hardening compounds which in particular allow the varnish to dry quickly. But since 2004, they have been classified among carcinogenic products by the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Dibutyl phthalate Normally, you should never come across this component on the back of your nail polish bottle. Listed as an endocrine disruptor, it is strictly prohibited in the European Union. But the substance is sometimes found in polishes bought outside Europe. If you like me who can't live without nail polish but want to say stop poisoning, are you ready to try a cleaner nail polish? 💅
How does pH affect your skin🔍Best pH balanced skincare products in 2020
PH-balancing skincare has a natural pH similar to that of your skin, also called slightly acidic. The ideal skin pH is 5.5, which is slightly acidic when neutral is 7. Some skincare products can disrupt the skin pH, which can cause irritation, redness, and dryness in some people. This is the reason why it's important to find pH-balancing skincare to keep your complexion at bay. Although pH has always been the focus of Korean skincare, some western skincare brands, such as Phace Bioactive and Drunk Elephant have also considered this concept. High pH (8 to 14) Skincare products with high pH pose the greatest threat to the pH and acidic mantle of your skin. They will make your skin smooth at first, but it will be disturbed and rough in the long run. That tight, creaky feeling you might experience after washing your face is the truest sign of cleansers with high pH and damaged skin barrier. They, along with other alkaline skincare products, tend to remove sebum and natural oils. As a result, side effects such as redness, inflammation, flaking, and dryness can occur. Your skin could even break out, simply because you have cleaned it with an alkaline facial cleanser. Low pH (1 to 6) Since low pH products are closer to the skin's natural pH, they will work more effectively with your skin and help cell renewal. They are more likely to keep the skin shiny and smooth, rather than flaky and angry. However, the pH of some products may be too low to irritate the skin. For example, at-home peels and other acid-like products tend to have a lower pH value, which makes it have an excellent scrub effect but has the same effect as a stripper as high pH products. Fortunately, I've got the best tips about choosing the right foundations for you! Get the foundations with oil-control ingredients: Niacinamide. Niacinamide can regulate oil production. As an active skin-restoring ingredient, it helps skin to retain its natural moisture by supporting a healthy and strong lipid barrier, helping to control the skin's natural oil flow. Hyaluronic Acid. It is an ideal ingredient for oily skin which can form a protective layer to keep skin hydration, and excess oil production simultaneously. Salicylic Acid. If you love skincare tools and devices...
Skincare tools and devices is something I've seen many people rave about and love! I dipped my toes in that trend too... I loved these skincare tools and devices so much, mostly because if felt they're like a luxury and who doesn't like to have a fancy, shiny tool they see people using and raving about? But is skincare tools and devices helpful for your skin concerns? Do they add any benefits in your routine? Most of these tools are just an additional step and luxury in your skincare regimen. Some devices and tools are helpful for some specific skin issues like Silicone Cleansing devices for Acne and congested pores or deep cleaning. But if you ask any dermologist or skincare expert they will tell you how you can cleanse your skin just with your hands and you don't need any tools for that. I like using PMD cleanser for some reasons, first is I really like to deep cleanse my Acne prone skin and second is it's silicone, vibrates and heats up giving me a nice spa feel when using. But it's totally an extra step in my routine. I wouldn't swear by these silicone cleansers changing my skin dramatically. I know what made it change are the skincare that I put on my skin and let it work for hours. Talking about Gua Sha and Jade rollers, it is fairly a recent trend in western beauty community where everyone felt the need to have a jade roller or Gua Sha in their home. I can press on telling they're great if you love massaging your face in the morning or every week or you want something to grip onto while working your hands in massage steps. But they're necessarily not any benefitial in skin improvement. Gua Sha particularly is an ancient tool in Chinese wellness and therapy where they sculpt your face and release tension in your limphatic drainage with those gracefully carved heavy stones. But for that technique and to really get the results you need to learn authentic Gua Sha techniques and if you use it religiously it will sculpt your face and tighten skin. But are they a necessity? Ofcourse not. Devices with Red light or Blue light emission are another thing where you need to have an expertise or atleast expensive devices with specific wavelength of Infra red light. I have this tool with Red light and they claim to reduce fine lines and wrinkles but I haven't experienced any change at home. If I really want to have red light therapy I would prefer going to a dermatologist and get done in settings. Similarly, Dermarollers are of more risk than benefit when done at home. I wouldn't say they don't work when done at home because I have done it, and yes they definitely help. But if you do it frequently and without really knowing how much your scars need, it will eventually disrupt your skin barrier. Leading skin being dry, sensitive and flakey and in worse cases contact dermititis. If you really want to learn how to dermaroll your face at home you can watch Dr. Davin Lim's (Board Certified Dermologist) 'How to perform skin needling' video on YouTube. https://youtu.be/o3r-DkgcJ3w Conclusively, I don't hate skincare tools and devices but I don't find them necessary too. If you like using any of these I'll list them down below! I have enjoyed using them in past but I don't really reach for them these days. Skincare tools is a thing where you definitely need to know what your skin really needs and what it can handle. LANCÔME - La Base Pro Perfecting Makeup Primer I know this is almost the same picture as before but this was a recent look I did and when I go glam I always use my favorite products and the ones that are going to make my skin flawless and stay put the whole night. This is the best primer I’ve come across. This is a primer that will give you the smoothest look. It’s supposed to make your makeup last longer, be ultra soft and become a smooth makeup base. It’s also an oil-free formula! My grandmother actually recommended this one to me. Previously I use the Veil one by Hourglass and a bunch of others but never really felt like I was satisfied. Always on the hunt of other primers. But this is such a beautiful, super smooth and great formula. It’s silicony and silky but doesn’t leave you dry. It makes a perfect canvas for the next makeup product. Just feel this and you’ll fall in love! The texture is bouncy and extremely smooth and silky. It’s translucent as well. It keeps you matte but not dry. Love this one and it’s my absolute favorite. Try it out for yourself and see what you think! Recommend this!! Specially if you have oily and combination skin! It’s on the pricey side actually, $42 but I will forever repurchase.

Vit C antioxidant serum
The truth serum is marketed as a daily multivitamin for the skin. Its potent vitamin c formula + collagen booster fights signs of aging to help brighten, firm, and hydrate. If you want younger looking skin this stuff is for you! Texture is a silky, lightweight serum with an orange scent. Paraben, sulfate, and pthalate- free. I’ve been using the truth serum for at least 6 months. I received a deluxe size mini with a sephora order promo and fell in love! Once I ran out I immediately repurchased. My skin looks so good when I use this consistently- my complexion is clear, healthy, and hydrated. And it definitely brightens! I get a true glow from using this. I’d prefer it not to have fragrance, but the smell is delicious- reminiscent of fresh squeezed oranges. The texture is silky smooth and applying it is a truly satisfying experience. I would definitely recommend truth serum in you’re in the market for a vitamin c. It’s one of the best on the market. It’s also a shelf stable formula- and doesn’t go bad in 3 months (like another popular vit c serum). It’s $49 for 1 oz, and I feel it’s 100% worth it. On the ole henriksen website they have smaller size bottles to try for $12 & $24. I love that they have multiple sizes so you can test it out with your skin before committing to the big bottle. 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #OLEHENRIKSEN - Truth Serum[goods]#[FiveStars]
Green goddess or nah?
I don’t know about you, but I love MILANI’s blushes! Their powder blushes are just... ugh 😍 I decided to use this product as an overnight mask as opposed to a primer because I found the product to be too greasy on my skin. Also, MILANI - Green Goddess Sleeping Mask + Primer took far to long to sink into the skin overnight (at least for me!) so it seems to work better as a mask that you may consider removing before hitting the hay. One huge plus: no synthetic fragrances. There is a slight scent to it though, nothing overpowering but if you’re really sensitive to scents, it might bug you a wee bit. I used the product consecutively for two weeks, only taking a few days without it in between to really see what the product can do. Unfortunately, this product was just too heavy for my skin. It left a slick, greasy film whenever I left it on my skin overnight and pretty much ruined my makeup application... lol the irony. I didn’t find the product very hydrating, nor did I see any notable differences to my skin. I know that when I applied it, my skin always felt heavy and greasy and for the retail price of $19, I won’t be purchasing it again. I still love MILANI and would love to try other products from their Green Goddess line, this product just wasn’t for me!

the best bath salts
I’m not really well versed in baths, but I love these ESTELI - Ojo de Aqua Soaking Salts - Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang + Green Clay ! I used them first when I had some side pain; my rib cartilage got inflamed and the only thing I could really do was pop ibuprofen and rest. I didn’t have a heating pad so while I was waiting for my man to bring me one, I got into the tub and poured these in. Honestly, the warm bath helped a lot. And I really enjoyed having this product in my bath, too! It made me feel relaxed and calm and it smelled really nice too! It didn’t give off any color in the bath or even make my skin soft, but it relaxed me, which is what I really needed! The main ingredients are Ylang Ylang, green clay, and palmarosa. The green clay is supposed to soften your skin, but I didn’t notice anything unfortunately. The main salts are epson and Dead Sea salts, and I thought that was cool. It’s $28, and I think it’ll last for 6-7 baths! I use a lot in mine because it smells so nice haha.
