My Full Face Featuring Only Luxury Makeup
I get it; you don’t want to spend your hard-earned dough on over-hyped, pricey makeup that doesn’t even work. Before I buy high-end makeup, I always like to do a little research to see what others think about it! I’ve had my fair share of luxury makeup flops, but I’ve also found some of my “holy grails” that I continue to repurchase. I’m sharing my go-to items for a full face of luxury-only makeup. My Full-Face: 1. Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation $48 This oil-free, 10-hour wear foundation makes my skin look flawless without ever looking cakey. The matte finish is perfect for photos and videos. No other drugstore foundation has compared to this one for me, which is unfortunate because it’s so pricy. It’s so worth it for me, though! 2. Benefit Roller Lash Mascara $25 This ultra-black mascara lengthens, separates, and defines the lashes. The creamy formula makes it look like you have false lashes on! I must say, this beats any other drugstore mascara I’ve tried. I haven’t found an affordable dupe for this mascara. My Thoughts on High-End Beauty: I think makeup is all about moderation. For me, I’ve never found a drugstore foundation that works for my skin, so I always splurge on my favorite high-end brands when I’m buying foundation. I do, however, think that drugstore concealers are great! I don’t usually spend more than $7 on my favorite drugstore concealer brands. It’s not the money or price tag that makes a beauty product worthwhile - it’s what works best on your skin. I don’t let the price tag hinder my purchase. I let the products and ingredients speak for themselves. My favorite high-end beauty brands are Laura Mercier, Fenty Beauty, Kevyn Aucoin, and Marc Jacobs. My least favorites are Too Faced, Kat Von D, and Tarte.

Milani #01 Blusher better than bronzer+blush
MILANI - Rose Powder Blush My favorite blush EVER. Milani #01 romantic rose, it's my first blusher. I decided to buy this when I was going through a dusty nude color phase at 2 years ago and I've been using it since! I use it for a simple shadow and a blush. I have fair neutral skin, medium brown hair and dark brown eyes. They are well-pigmented and buildable. The formula is creamy and blends like a dream, which is amazing and it's very easy to apply. However, if you have medium or darker skin this may not be the right blush for you. It's a decently light shade that's best for fair and light skin. There's a better range in the baked blush line. It came kind of lighter than I expected, but its nice because I can start light and keep adding until perfect. Its harder to go the other way so Im glad it came a bit lighter than I thought it would. But it's friendlier to people who just started trying makeup, you don't have to put a lot of bronzer powder on your face. It's a very natural dusty rose color that leaves a very natural flush on the cheeks. Very pretty sheer color, and is a bit iridescent so I like to use it to blend my highlight and blush, (no bronzer)and although I can't ever see myself hitting pan due to using small amounts at a time, if I ever did I'd probably go out and buy another. When I don't have my usual blush on hand this is my go to, as its buildable and looks like a natural flush when applied lightly (be careful with it though, the pigment can be overwhelming if you put too much at once!)It's a total dupe for MAC's mineralize blush. The shape of its rose petals is also pretty, the appearance will not be very cheap. The powder blush it's prefect for me, it glides on smooth, the color is so pretty, it stays on, it's a great value and to top it all of it is CRUELTY FREE. Truly recommend this Blush! It's just a perfect color. I’d recommend this blush to literally anyone. Especially Makeup beginner.

the nars orgasm blush $3 blush dupe!💗🌸
so by now everyone and their mom has heard about the nars orgasm blush and how great it is... but it is $30! i bet youve wondered, “is it really worth the price?” the answer... well, it’s debatable🤔 so i have used this elf blush for a while now. i got it for only three dollars and i did break it, but it still works fine. it has a little sparkle and is very pigmented, and it also lasts pretty long! it is a little powdery though😊 the powderness is why im knocking it down to four stars. then, i saw at marshalls of all places, they were selling the nars “super orgasm” blush for $10! i knew i needed to try it out and see if it was worth the hype. my feelings are, well, mixed. it is very sparkly and beautiful. the colour is gorgeous and i love the gold glitters. but, its not very pigmented at all. its good for a barely-there blush look, but if you want real colour for your face, i wouldn’t recommend it. im rating it four stars because i think it would work for some people, but it also just has very little pigment. you have to you quite a lot to get any colour. they are pretty similar, the elf one is a little pinker, but also way more pigmented. although the sparkle is gorgeous in the nars blush, i think ill stick with my $3 dupe!! have you tried either blush? what do you think!☺️ e.l.f. - e.l.f. Old vs New Primer: Nyx to Too Faced
Nyx is a go-too brand for many people who want to play with color at a low cost. Since 2012, I remember watching Youtubers layer the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk as an eyeshadow primer. Since it’s white, it helps make bright colors like blues and oranges pop. But since I bought one, I ended up not liking it that much. I have very oily eyelids, and Milk started bunching up in my crease throughout the day. Even when I put eyeshadow over it, it would just bunch that eyeshadow, too. Plus, it’s a little bit too thick for a primer. Another problem: It didn’t look good with natural makeup. Which makes sense! You can use white to play with bold colors. But if your looks are mostly soft browns, it’s not gonna match. So I started a search for a better primer, and I found the best one: The Too Faced Shadow Insurance Primer. First of all, it looks like a natural skin tone. When you blend it in, it turns almost translucent, so you have a natural base to layer shadow on. Second, it feels like a light cream, not a paste. Which feels better for an area as sensitive as the eyes. Thirdly, and most importantly, it lasts! My eyelids never crease with this primer, even if I got up at 7 AM and went to bed at midnight. As you can see in the photo, my Shadow Insurance is well loved. And this is actually my third tube of it. It’s paid off to give me years of beautiful, intact eyeshadow looks. After some trial and error, I’m glad I made the switch.

First EVER MAC products!
Well everyone! I’ve went and did it, and have finally got me a couple MAC products in my collection that my friend has sold to me! I’ve tried *almost* all of these products just tonight so my thoughts are definitely still fresh! MAC - Studio Fix 24-Hour Smooth Wear Concealer I’ve heard people talk about this stuff for YEARS and said they loved it and now I know why! The colour is PERFECT for highlighting, and I love the smell! I imagine it blends PERFECTLY with a sponge, but alas I’m stuck with brushes for now :/ MAC - Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base Going to be able to give this a more honest review in the morning! I used a bit too much and it didn’t blend right, and also made my lashes clump together However removing my eye makeup was definitely tricky tonight that’s for sure! MAC - Brushstroke Liner This eyeliner is EASILY the best one I’ve used! The super-fine point made wings a dream, and detailing cut creases even better! It stayed black even after drying down and barely transferred! MAC - Iridescent Loose Powder ANOTHER 5 star rating? This powder is GORGEOUS as a highlighter, AND on the lid and I’m excited to see what other uses I can find over time! MAC - Studio Fix Sculpt & Shape Contour Palette I was on my tried and trusted ELF contour pallette for awhile now but this one may steal my heart! The ELF Pallete had a highlighter, but not a matte powder for under the eyes to brighten which disappointed me slightly, but the MAC Pallette had great pay-off and blended nicely, and there appeared to even be a bronzer shade in there for me! #MAC - MAC Pro Refillable Pallette[products]#[FiveStars] I love this idea! While I did not pick the colours myself, ALL the shades are super pigmented and beautiful, and blend like butter, I can’t wait to see what I can create with a palette of mostly shimmers! MAC - Amplified Lipstick While St. Germain is SOOO not my shade, it feels VERY comfortable on the lips! No transferring or bleeding from what I can tell either! MAC - MAC Matte Lipstick Lady Danger is a TOUCH closer to my shade, but still a bit too warm, super comfy on the lip and again NO transfer. Overall I’m SUPER impressed with all these products and may become a fully dedicated MAC girl 💁🏻♀️ See you in the next one!
BEST MASCARA EVER. Falsies in a tube?? 👀
Want big, bold, voluminous lashes?? Well I have found it! I have always said that if I’m stranded on a desert island, I will only need a solid tube of mascara. A good mascara is a life changer. I had been getting lash extensions since the beginning of the year, but since the pandemic hit, I wanted to find a mascara that was comparable to the lash extension effects. Not an easy task! After YEARS of searching and testing and trying, I have finally found the BEST mascara. I have tried them all: better than sex, diorshow, Chanel l’volume (a close second best), L’Oréal voluminous, the falsies, tarte, essence, benefit...ALL OF THEM. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Mascara is an incredible mascara. No wonder its always at the top of all the best of lists. It delivers on bold, voluminous lashes in only one or two coats. In fact, I’ve never had a mascara that performs so well even on the first coat. It’s not a wet formulation, and not very dry either which ensures it won’t be flaky or clumpy. It separates and allows for definition as well. It does have a “fluffy” average sized wand which allows for you to get close enough to separate and build. It lasts all day, and does not flake or smudge once it’s dry. I do find that if I put a setting spray I have to be VERY careful not to look up or down as it can transfer onto the skin. It does really last forever, and even when pulling off mascara with my fingers, it is really adhered to the lash. At the end of the night, it does take a bit to get off, as I do use an oil and then go over it with an eye makeup remover, but it does come off eventually. Overall, I am SO happy to have found this mascara and I’m already on my 3rd tube. Whoever loves big bold lush lashes...check this out.

Peachy Blush Dream
This blush by Milani is touted as a holy grail by Nikkie Tutorials herself among many others! After years of hearing people praise the brand's baked blushes, I decided to try Luminoso out. First of all, this formula is quite sheer. I was expecting more punch. Might've been the fluffy brush I was using? It looked okay, but it took a decent amount of building and blending before it truly showed up on my fair skin. It has a slight glow though nothing like I hoped. It's a pretty coraly-peach and it will for sure last a long time usage wise but I'm not in love. Hopefully I can hit pan on this and I'll like it more.
