Hair Growth Remedies You Need To Know
We all crave long luscious locks, right? I know I do. Unfortunately, I wasn’t blessed with Rapunzel-like hair. Hair growth depends on several factors, including diet, environment, and genetic history. However, some remedies can help keep strands healthy, ultimately allowing them to grow long and strong. I’m sharing my favorite hair growth hacks that I swear by. About My Hair: I personally have very dry, long, curly hair. I tend to get a lot of breakage because of heat styling and occasional chemical treatments (highlights). My biggest hair concern is keeping my hair and scalp healthy. My Go-To Hair Growth Products: Biotin: I take 1 biotin pill every day. While this may not be suitable for all (always ask your doctor first), I did get an OK from my doctor to take them. I do think they really make a difference. I’ve tried a bunch of biotin brands before, and these seem to work best for my hair. Plus, they're pretty inexpensive. You get a 3-month supply for under $20. These are made with coconut oil as well, which helps keep hair hydrated. Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager

Almita0218Wow maybe that can work for me. Quick question did your doctor supply the 3 month biotin or where did you purchase?

Dry Itchy scalp be gone! Without spending $$$
yesto - Tea Tree Gentle & Soothing Pre-Shampoo Scalp Scrub is a great, much less expensive substitute for Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo They both contain Tea Tree Oil to help combat scalp itch. The Briogeo is meant to be used instead of shampoo, the Yesto version is a pre-shampoo scrub. The Briogeo contains Charcoal, Coconut Oil, Peppermint & Spearmint. The Yesto contains Sage Oil, Witch Hazel, and ACV. So if you are sensitive to the ingredients in one you might want to check out the other! In either case if you have reactive or sensitive skin I would do a spot test first. As far as the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager , I found a much less expensive version on Amazon for $8 - half the price! If you have very fine hair you should be extra gentle as this tool might tear your hair. If your hair is very dense, it might take some trial and error to figure out the best way to use it.
Hair Care Essentials!
Hi Everyone! So I wanted to make a post on my hair care routine on the days that I do wash my hair because it has helped my hair so much as opposed to my old routine which was the customized shampoo and conditioner that either dried out my hair or my scalp or both. This is such an important time of the year to make sure our hair gets all the right care it needs because the air is so dry. So... let’s begin! First, before I get into the shower I use my Wet brush - Original Detangler to get out all the loose hairs so I don’t have as much of an issue in the shower. Next, in the shower I rinse my hair with just water and then start my shampoo process. I use a few finger globs of the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Scalp Scrub Shampoo and rub it in with my fingers first. Then before I rinse it out I use the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager to better massage it in my hair. I love it because it really gets the shampoo into my scalp and the shampoo foams so nicely and feels wonderful in my hair. After the shampoo and massager, I rinse it out and next I use the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Peppermint Oil Cooling Jelly Conditioner which is great with everything combined but the one downside is it doesn’t feel like it’s actually conditioning my hair. You really have to brush it with a comb in the shower in order to spread it all through your hair. But hey, it does the job. Rub that in for about a minute and rinse out. When I get out of the shower, I use (second picture) this microfiber hair towel to soak up all the water fast. I couldn’t find it as a product on this site but I got it on amazon for cheap and it does wonders to the drying process of my hair. I would say it’s just as good as the fancier hair towels. Once my hair gets a little dryer but still damp, I part my hair so my scalp is shower in the areas I get dandruff the most and add a few drops of the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Scalp Treatment Serum right onto the skin and massage it in with my fingers. Next I spray the dpHUE - Apple Cider Vinegar Leave-in Hair Therapy onto my hair generously and brush it through again with my wet brush. After that’s all said and done, I put my hair into a braid and let it air dry. Right now it’s in the process of drying but later I will add the final look to the post. I’m very excited about this new hair care routine and I think it’s doing wonders to my hair and scalp! ✨
Build up saver! 🧖🏽♀️
This is not a necessary item but it has changed my shower game! As mentioned before I only wash my hair once a week so through out the week I’m essentially just refreshing my curls by adding more product to it. So a couple of months ago I really started to struggle with build up on my scalp. So one day while scrolling through the Sephora app looking at things I don’t need I came across the Briogeo - Scalp Revival Stimulating Therapy Massager After about 3 uses I started to see a difference on my scalp and the build up. I don’t know how I lived without it before.

If you don't know how to determine hair strand type, check this out👉
The first way to discover what kind of hair you have is by determining the diameter of your hair width of your strands. Hair's diameter has nothing to do with the amount hair you actually have. It ' s all about how wide the individual strands are. If you want to figure out what kind of hair you have, go for it, read on. To find out the width, we can start by taking a single strand of hair and laying it flat on sometinng. If you can barely see the hair or feel it between your fingertips, then you have fine hair. If the hair strand looks thick and appears to be textured, then the coarse hair you get it. If your hair is somewhere in-between, then you have a moderate or medium width. Knowing this will help us better determine which types of products we should pick. For coarse hair, has a lot of texture, is prone to frizz, and often doesn ' t retain water. Mine is naturally straight, frizzy, coarse hair. To solve the problem, we must hydrate the coarse hair and use some deep conditioning mask. Best investment you could make for your hair-Briogeo - Don't Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Hair Mask. This brought some life and shine to it while I grow it out and get it healthy again. I usually use it after shampooing, message into my hair, ensuring the conditioner is evenly applied. Leave in for 5 to 10 minutes. I only use it every 2 weeks but I cover my hair with a plastic cap (even a plastic grocery bag works for this) and using a diffuser on my hair dryer. This deep conditioner has been awesome for my dry, coarse hair. This product seems to actually strengthen hair and not just coat it like some other products. If you have the same hair as mine, Highly recommend!!

Favorite Hair Treatment Down There
Tailored beauty Moisture Penetrating Deep Conditioner Treatment has been my favorite to include in my wash day 😍 It is made with Fenugreek powder which helps give you shiny, strong, bouncy curls and Bhringaraj oil which helps promote hair growth, thicken, and strengthen hair. It also makes my curls super moisturized 💦
Best cream and conditioner for bleached hair
Best cream and conditioner for bleached hair I have coarse hair because I bleached my hair three times to get it blonde. It is a very long and damaging process. Blenching makes my hair dry, fizzy and easy to breakage. The process also hurt my scalp. Bleaching raises my hair’s cuticle and allow Hydrogen peroxide and ammonia penetrate, rapidly and continuously reduce the moisture from my strands. After I blench my hair, I have to use a lot of hair care product to keep my hair hydrated and nourished. I recommend using Pantene’s INTENSE SMOOTHENING LEAVE ON CRÈME. This product can smooth hair and bring moisture to the hair, leaving hair hydrated and smooth. This treatment helps me to plump the hair with moisture, make my hair more elastic. The texture is very thick and even a little bit greasy if applying too much. After using it, my hair immediately becomes smooth. It increases shine and manageability to my hair. I use this almost every day to prevent my hair away from environmental damage, including air-condition and UV rays. I also recommend OGX Extra Strength Coconut Miracle Oil Conditioner. This is a little bit expensive conditioner, costs around 15 dollars. The product has a strong smell of coconut oil. The texture is very thick and creamy with a decent smell. It makes my hair soft and nourished. I only need to use a little to coverage and smooth hair. I have tried many different conditioners that are often very dry. this one gives me a great result to manage my hair. Although blenching my hair raises it's cutlet and makes strands tangle easily, this conditioner seal in moisture and add shine to my coarse hair. I highly recommend these two products to people who have damaged and bleached hair.
How I get rid of itchy dry scalp!!
Do you experience from itchy dry scalp but at the same time greasy as well? Well, I do!! My scalp is super greasy and oily right after shower too and it feels dry as well. But from the past few weeks I'm really stepping up my game and taking good care if my hair because they are quite long now and needs proper care and attention. The bead massager is honestly so soothing and relaxing. I use it as I shampoo my hair and it helps in circulation of blood and it's so relaxing. Following with the scalp revival tea tree oil I like to use on my damp hair which also helps in detoxifying the scalp. This entire line makes shower experience so refreshing and rejuvenating. The minty smell of the shampoo makes the shower so relaxing, calming and therapeutic. I love that their are clean, cruelty free, free of harsh chemicals, sulphates, parabens and phthalates. Have you tried any of their products? Which is your favorite briogeo product? #cheriepartner

Incredibly Silky Soft Hair (I’m obsessed!)
I love leave-in hair products. They’re easy to use - you just spray it in your hair, go about your day and forget all about it. I’m actually switching up between 3 different types of leave in treatments at the moment! This leave in conditioner by Schwarzkopf is absolutely wonderful. It was super affordable and leaves your hair feeling super soft to the touch with a lovely shine (and of course smells great). This is extremely useful for days where you don’t have enough time to condition your hair but still need something to tame your hair. The spray application is great because it’s so easy to apply. I apply this generously to the ends of my hair when I’m straight out of the shower and go in with a wide tooth comb just to ensure that it’s evenly distributed through my hair. You can either just blow dry as normal or let it air dry. It’s also amazing for detangling. Just spritz and them comb through the ends. One thing i’ve noticed is that you do need to be relatively generous with this product if you have thicker hair like me! This product is particularly great for people with dry damaged hair. My ends feel extremely healthy and shiny. The product itself is relatively thin in consistency too so it’s perfect for everyday use. I find that some leave in conditioners can feel a bit heavy and weigh on your hair – this one is lightweight and is perfect for people who want a bit more volume on the head. I’m always looking for new leave in products - what’s your favourite? I think out of all the ones I’ve tried so far, my favourite is still by far the John Freida Frizz Ease Serum (I’ve done a review on this in one of my other posts!)
