Coarse Hair Is No Match For These Holy Grail Products
Coarse hair can be ultra-difficult to keep shiny and smooth. It seems like coarse hair has a mind of its own! My natural hair is quite curly and coarse, but it's also on the thinner side. If I don't use my holy grail hair care products, I look like a poodle. For lack of better words! The tricky thing with my hair is that while it needs a major boost of hydration, I tend to get oily roots quite fast because it's on the thinner side. Luckily, I've found some excellent products that combat my course dry strands without my roots looking like an oil slick. Products I can't live without: 1. OLAPLEX No.6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme $28 This is sulfates & paraben-free styling cream is such a hair-saver. It comes in a 3.3oz (recyclable) bottle and smells delicious. A little goes a long way; this stuff is potent. I use about a pea size amount and run it through damp hair. I use it on dry hair too after styling. I've been using it for around a year, and I'm already on my second bottle. I will repurchase it - no doubt about it! 2. OLAPLEX No.7 Bonding Oil $28 In my mind, OLAPLEX can do no wrong, so it's no wonder I'm obsessed with the bonding oil as well. The 1oz bottle comes in a small, easy to use bottle. I put about 3-4 drops in the palms of my hands and mix it with OLAPLEX No.6 and put in my dry hair. It makes my hair look shiny, feel softer, and it smells light & fresh. I'm still on my first bottle (a little goes a long way), but I know I'll be repurchasing when I finally run out. I use this mixture (No.6 + No.7) about twice a week to keep my coarse hair feeling soft.

They Saved My Coarse Hair! 👍👏
Coarse hair seems to be a common problem among many people, yet, having smooth and luscious hair is desired by most. Nowadays, there are many products on the market that can help us treat coarse hair, and I’ll be introducing a hair essence and heat protectant that will achieve just that! My Hair Type: I have to admit that I brought this problem to myself. My hair used to be smooth and healthy, however, I was into dying my hair in various bright colors that involved many times of bleaching, which ultimately damaged my hair, almost beyond repair. For a while, my hair was coarse on the part that has been bleached and endless split ends followed. My hair became extremely weak and prone to breakage. On top of those problems, I have oily hair roots but dry ends. Product 1: Heat Protectant - Tresemme RP7 Pre-Styling Spray $3.59 / 300 ml This is such an affordable product that should be a staple item in everyone’s hair care collection. One cause for coarse hair could be too much heat on the hair. When we blow dry too closely to our hair or at a temperature that’s too high, or style our hair with a straightener or curler, our hair could be damaged and dry, thus, becoming coarse. This is where heat Protectant is important. I love the packaging because it is a spray-on product, which makes application very easy, you simply spray onto dry or wet hair before blow-drying or styling. The scent is very mild and makes the hair smell nice. The texture also feels lightweight and coats the hair nicely. I noticed that my hair became smooth and shiny right after application, and over months of usage, my hair felt stronger, and there are less split ends and less tangles. One thing I would note is to avoid applying onto the scalp because it can make the hair oily and flat. Product 2: Hair Essence - Pantene Ultimate 10 BB Creme for Hair $4.95 / 135 ml We’ve all heard of bb cream for the face, which is a product that is supposed to benefit the skin in multiple ways. In this case, this product is a bb cream for hair. It is a multi-tasking leave on treatment. It truly lives up to its name, because it really moisturized, detangled and defrizzed my hair. It can be applied onto dry or wet hair, at day or night. For me, I like to apply this before bedtime. I would dispense two pumps into my hair and apply it evenly on my hair, except for the scalp. I would notice a huge difference the next day, where my hair feels extremely smooth and silky, and all of the coarseness would be gone. The packaging is nice and convenient, the price is very affordable, and most of all, I love the scent. It smells like perfume for the hair. I absolutely adore this product and would highly recommend this to my friends and family. I have emptied at least three bottles of this, so I encourage you to give this a try too!

My Holy Grail Hair Treatments for Coarse Hair
As for hair care products for damaged hair, in addition to the shampoo, conditioner and hair mask I have written before, there are two very important products in my hair care routine. One is Moroccanoil Treatment, and the other is ghd Platinum+ Professional Performance Styler. 👉🏻Moroccanoil Treatment Its main ingredient is Moroccan argan oil, just a few drops can make hay-like hair soft and shiny. I think anyone with damaged hair should use this hair oil! For me, after washing my hair, squeeze 2-4 pump before the hair is blow-dried. Apply the oil evenly to the ends of hair, then dry it with a dryer. Be careful not to apply it to the roots, otherwise the scalp and hair will become oily. Some shampoos and conditioners can make hair a little frizzy, but after applying this oil, my hair will immediately become very smooth and shiny, very moisturized. After using it for a long time (I've been using it for over two years), I can definitely feel the improvement in my hair. More importantly, as a person who is prone to have oily hair, as long as the amount is not too much, or misuse it to the hair root, it will not make your hair greasy. Recommendation:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 👉🏻ghd Platinum+ Professional Performance Styler Although I know that heated styling products are bound to cause some damage to hair, ghd styler’s constant temperature heating technology can minimize the damage to hair. This hair styler has only one switch button in the whole body, which is very easy to operate. It can be heated and start styling in 10-15 seconds, not only for straight hair styles, but also for curly hair styles. After using it for two years, I really didn't feel any damage to my hair or make it worse. Either way, this is a perfect look for someone with damaged hair. Recommendation:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
How to Care for Long, Thin and Bleached Hair ☀️
I have very long and thin bleached hair so it gets very dry easily and also can get extra oily at times with regular washing. I wash it in the morning, brush it through and let it air dry after adding in some products below! 1. Add Hydration ✨Bleach dries out hair like no other so adding hydration back into your hair is going to be important. I use a variety of products for this. One thing I like is to use really nourishing shower products like the Olaplex conditioner. These products are gorgeous and make my hair feel better and softer. Their unique technology repairs hair from within. ✨Another product I love is the Gisou hair oil which is good for hydration but also styling if you’re just leaving your hair down for the day. It smells amazing and the honey is great for hair. It tames flyaways, somehow just makes hair look better and hydrated. ✨Hair masks can also be very useful and Olaplex has one too. I also like the Amika hair masks for extra hydration and try to use these at least once a week to repair and hydrate. 2. Detangle ✨One product I love to use right after washing is the leave in conditioner spray by It’s a 10! This has so many uses, hence the name, but I love the smell, nourishing and detangling properties of this the most. The detangler aspect is also useful so I’m not causing unnecessary damage when brushing if I have knots. 3. Take a Hair Supplement ✨After starting my first, I’ve found that my hair definitely grows faster and feels better than before! I use Hush & Hush supplements. They have them for hair, daily vitamins and one that is super amazing for nighttime if you’re struggling with relaxing and sleeping. You can use my name as a code to save money too if you’d like (“chelsea”). This is important because you’re giving your body what it needs and more to care for your hair health and also your body. 4. Use Products with Extra Heat Protection ✨I personally like Amika’s The Wizard because it smells amazing and does the job. Generally, temperatures over 450 F won’t break or damage hair but I avoid lots of heat and styling just because my hair is already damaged and dry, but when I do I always use products with extra protection. Regular hair cuts help too to prevent additional breakage at the bottom! Some common mistakes you might not know when using curling iron...
As we all know, curling irons instantly fix hair by high temperatures, which can cause damage to our hair. But we girls can't live without curling irons. Of course, having a good curling iron is not enough. You need to learn how to use it better. However, many girls, especially beginners, make mistakes when using curling iron. Here I’d like to point out some mistakes you may make in daily use. First, don’t use curling iron when your hair is still wet, or you will get terrible wavy hair. The moisture needed by the hair will evaporate with the heat of the curling iron. After a long time, your hair will also become drier and even get hair furcation and breakage . Second, don’t let your curling iron touch your hair for a long time, which will not damage the protein in the hair. It's usually best to remove the curling iron in three to five seconds. Third, apply a little hair oil before you use curling iron, which can protect your hair from exposing to high temperature directly. It also help smooth your curly hair. I usually useMOROCCANOIL - Moroccanoil Treatment, which is moisturizing but not greasy. Fourth, When curling hair, many people are used to start from hair ends with a curling iron, and then turn the curling iron to wrap the hair around it. In fact, this is wrong. The correct way is that take the curling iron close to the root of the hair and wrap the hair around it manually, and then stay for a while to loosen it. Fifth, don’t curl too much hair at one time to save time, because if the hair in the curling iron is too thick, heat distribution is uneven, then the curling effect is poor, it’s easy to be straight again for a while. Curling is a technical job. Few people can curl it successfully at the beginning. More practice is the most important thing. And in the practicing process, try to avoid some common mistakes. Say “BYE” to your rough hair!
I have unfortunately been cursed with rough, thick, coarse hair. With my hair, you will only ever see me in a ponytail or a messy bum, because I am unable to deal with it most of the time. And the few times I need to look a little presentable, I need a clear window of at least three hours in my schedule to be able to work my hair into a decent hairstyle. This being said, I have tried a lot of things to fix my hair, and I have settled on the following solutions. For the first one, I have to mention my trusted hair conditioner, the REDKEN - All Soft Conditioner. I purchased this product about three months ago for $27, and I can tell a huge progress in the texture of my hair. Before, as you can see in the images, my hair was frizzy and a coarse mess. But after using this conditioner twice a week for the last three months, I have seen a HUGE positive difference! It smells so good with a coconut flavour, and the conditioner applies smoothly on to the hair. The second product I really love to use when I need to tame my hair is the MOROCCANOIL - Hydrating Styling Cream. I got this at Sephora for $34 about the same time that I got my _ conditioner. It might seem pricy, but the product lasts a while and actually works for my hair type! I started by using this product before styling using heat, but I prefer to use it after every wash as I see that my hair gets smooth and easy to style that way. It smells great too. My hair used to be dull and dry after washes, but since I got this, the frizz is controlled and my hair is sleek and shiny, and it also feels so healthy! Don’t double think about getting this, 10/10 recommend it!

Here's how I treat my coarse hair
I'm a big fan of hair dyes and perms, so my hair tends to get very dry and frizzy. Today I'd like to introduce two products that I think are outstanding solutions to the problem of dry hair and frizziness. Kerastase-Chronologist Kerastase is a brand owned by France's Loreal. The product I recommend is Kerastase's high-end star line of black diamond caviar. The product contains rare caviar essences and is rich in vitamins A and E. It also smells good and smells like a men's perfume from Hermes. Its primary function is to gently clean hair and scalp while moisturizing dry and damaged hair. Usage: 1. After shampoo, mix the hair mask and caviar essence in a 1:4 ratio in a bowl. 2. After mixing well, apply on the dry hair and massage with your fingers to make it more easily absorbed. If you have a heated shower cap, you can heat your hair for 10-15 minutes for even better results. If you don't want to heat your hair, you can leave the hair mask on for 30 minutes. 3. Rinse. It is important to note that when mixing caviar essence, be sure to mash the granules of the essence. Otherwise, the effect will be affected. This product is a high-end hair care product, so the price is very high. But it's worth it because the hair becomes very soft and shiny after use. Because the price is high, I usually do it once a month. Moroccanoil Treatment Moroccanoil treatment is hair care oil. It comes in a brown glass bottle and comes with a press pump head, so it's easy to use. This item has 100ml, about two pumps each time is enough, one bottle can be used for several months, very cost-effective. It has no smell and is very safe to use. And the way it's used is to apply the product to the ends of your hair and rub your hands together to help it absorb. It has an oily texture, but instead of looking oily when your hair has been dry, it seems very smooth and fresh.
