I’m glad I only have a sample size lol. Sooo...... what do you think??? I’m not much into eyeliner, mainly because my hands shake a bit, so that pretty much rules liner out!

Rare Beauty Best-Of Products!
I made the plunge and purchased products from Rare beauty, and I was pleasantly surprised with the formulation and wear of all the things that I got. These products I can see myself using time and time again, and are really exciting new releases. If you’re looking for a mid-priced product with good results you can expect each time, this is a good pick for you! I’m really excited about this brand. My favorite from the brand is Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel which combines a great pigmented setting gel and feather/brow stroke pencil all in one package. What more could you want for brows? So far, (I’ve used it three or four times) I like this more than Glossier and Anastasia brow products..! One of the first things I wanted to try was the Rare Beauty - Positive Light Liquid Luminizer which I got in the shade “enchanted”. The colour is a pretty rose gold/blush that’s not too metallic or fake looking on skin, but gives a cute more cool-toned pink glow. It is a true liquid to powder feeling product, doesn’t accentuate texture or pores, and dries down fairly quickly without budging but gives you enough time to blend in. Also looks great on the body! Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush both in joy and love are both really pretty and pigmented shades. I mixed them together to get a cute looking red sun kissed vibe, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. A little goes a long way, so even with these minis I can see them lasting for awhile. They dry quicker than the highlight, so I recommend applying and blending on one cheek at a time for best results. It sets natural/matte, and doesn’t accentuate pores or dry skin. I really enjoyed the Rare Beauty - With Gratitude Dewy Lip Balm even though with the pigmentation it applies more like a lipstick! I would definitely line when using this product in the darker shades. It’s super moisturizing and creamy and a true crème lipstick, so eating with this it will disappear or smudge. I got it in the shade Support, and it’s perfect for fall with all its warm-brown goodness. I also loved the Rare Beauty - Lip Souffle Matte Cream Lipstick which I have in the shade Affirmation. It’s a warm red-berry color, which I think looks divine on all lip and skin tones. It smells delicious (like coconut vanilla) and dries down and sets without being drying on the lips. It applies creamy with no patching or feathering, and I didn’t feel like I needed to line separately with this, I just used the nice sharp applicator! It stains lips, so even if it wears off lips will have a nice shade to them. There are so many cute sets too for the holidays which provide an array of products to test out for less money, and in cute minis too. One I really like is the Rare Beauty - Best of Rare Beauty Lip & Cheek 2 Piece Mini Duo which has two of my fav products in lovely shades.
Glowing Natural-glam Fall Makeup
Natural glam is some of my favorite makeup to rock, and fall makes it even better with all of the delicious warm tones and golds. I always love to play up my eyes and highlight to get a lit from within glow that complements the warm neutrals I use for my shadows and lips. Using the inspiration of golden hour and the changing colors of the leaves never fails 🍁 For my eyes, I used a mixture of NATASHA DENONA - Mini Nude Eyeshadow Palette and my HUDA BEAUTY - The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette to get the perfect mix of warm tones and golds. I start by blending the camel color from natasha in my crease, and deepen it with the next darkest brown in the palette (a chocolate) on my outer V. I take my finger and press crave from huda onto the center of my lid, layering my highlight on the inner corner and smoking my lower lash line out with the same chocolate colour. The duo-chrome shadows in the huda palette is extra fun, and adds extra dimension to the look; I love the shift of crave and daydream. I add a dot of highlight to the center of my lower lash line as well. I dont line in this look, but use a few coats of a dark black mascara like CHANEL - Le Volume de Mascara which doesn’t smudge or flake, and applies easily with little clumping for long and voluminous lashes. I darken my brows to give a more structured look to my eyes. I’ve been loving the Rare Beauty - Brow Harmony Pencil and Gel which makes my brows look naturally tinted and sculpted for a more elegant look. I didnt contour in this look, but layered on benefit - Hoola Matte Bronzing Powder liberally with a darker bronzer powder still in a warmer shade CHANEL - LES BEIGES HEALTHY GLOW Sheer Powder I don’t contour because for this look i’m sticking with only warm tones, and my contour shade is cool. I mix in my blush, EM COSMETICS - Heaven’s Glow: Magic Hour Blush which truly transfers the colour of magic onto the face, and top it with my Charlotte Tilbury - Beauty Highlighter Wand that melts into the skin and gives a heavenly glow. For my lips, I used a mix of Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick and EM COSMETICS - EM Cosmetics Lip Cushion for perfect warm nude pink tones. What’s your go-to look? Would you try this out? Let me know what you think down below! 💕
I finally went back to work this which which means I get to wear real clothes and put on some makeup! Below are the products I used today: Base: Too Faced - Primed & Peachy Primer I do notice that my skin has been more matte than usual, it definitely controls oil. FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Instant Retouch Concealer one of my top 3 concealers FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Powder Foundation laura mercier - Translucent Loose Setting Powder for my under eyes Cheeks: Kosas - The Sun Show Bronzer Kosas - Color & Light: Pressed Powder Blush & Highlighter Duo I used Papaya 1972.. both the blush and highlighter Eyes: COLOURPOP - Brow Boss Gel URBAN DECAY - Crease-Free Eyeshadow Primer Potion I have very oily eyelids so I like to wear eye primer even if I don’t wear eyeshadow. appleBiotic - Super Lash Mascara BEST mascara hands down.. Every time I go to Mexico or someone I know goes, I make sure to get like two or three tubes. You can also purchase this for like $5 on Amazon.. if you have straight eyelashes that are hard to curl, I RECOMMEND this. It’s also not waterproof so it’s easy to take off. My lashes are typically longer, but I just removed my eyelash extensions so they are a bit short.
Try this tinted moisturizer for a glow!
COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer I got this tinted moisturizer a while back at Ulta. I got it on sale for I think $9. It was so reasonably priced that I didn’t have very high expectations. I like using the bareMinerals - Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 but it’s much more expensive. I was very surprised at how well the pretty fresh tinted moisturizer worked! I like it just as much as the bare minerals. It provides nice light to medium coverage. It doesn’t have the spf like the bare minerals but I use a separate spf either way so I don’t mind! I definitely think the COLOURPOP - Pretty Fresh Hyaluronic Tinted Moisturizer is worth a try, especially at such a great price point! Also if anyone is wondering I’m also wearing Kosas - Weightless Lip Color in Undone and Kosas - Color & Light: Pressed Powder Blush & Highlighter Duo in Contrachroma.
Practicing My Wedding Makeup!
I’m getting married in two weeks - ahhhhh!!! My fiancé and I are having a very small ceremony and dinner with close friends/family on 9/6. Next summer we’ll have a big celebration when things are safer (hopefully). I’m going to be doing my own hair and makeup. I’ve practiced a couple times, but this look is the highest contender (judge being my very picky and natural beauty-loving fiancé). I wanted a look that provided soft definition and glowy skin. I’ve reviewed a few of these on Cherie before, and recommend all of these items. Face: touch in SOL - No Poreblem Primer raved about this before, great for all skin types, somewhat covers pores, extends wear of makeup URBAN DECAY - Stay Naked Weightless Foundation lightweight, medium-buildable coverage, natural matte finish (my shade is 30NN) e.l.f. - Hydrating Camo Concealer excellent coverage, not drying, stays put (my shade is “light peach” HOURGLASS - Ambient Lighting Edit Volume 4 this was limited edition from 2018, but you can get a very similar bronzer from their permanent line, and the finishing powders are sold as singles too. Provides a bit of luminosity and gives the skin an ethereal finish. Hourglass products are expensive, but worth it. tarte - Hamptons Weekender Contour Palette I used the bronzer and blush from this. Great palette for fair-medium skin tones. Bronzer leans more neutral. Charlotte Tilbury - Beauty Highlighter Wand i used the shade “spotlight” (silvery/pinky). It looks melted into my face! It’s absolutely stunning but a bit pricey ($38), so I’d give it 4.5/5 stars. Eyes: persona - Identity Eyeshadow Palette high-quality, buttery shimmers, creamy mattes. MILANI - MILANI Eyeshadow Primer I use this all the time. It’s great for the price! I did apply some random false lashes from Shop Miss A but I can’t find which ones. Mascara would work just fine. Lips: I forgot to feature my lip products in the flat lay, so I tagged them in my “selfies”! I used Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick in “Pillowtalk” with lilah b. - Luxe Lip Oil Mini Duo shade “b elegant” on top. Pillowtalk is a my lips but better shade (pink-ish) and “b elegant” lip oil is a nude gloss. Love the color combo!! There are NO filters on these photos, by the way! Photos of myself taken in natural lighting. #CheriePartner
I absolutely love this palette, These are the best contour kit for price and quality. Nice and blendable with blush and a highlighter. Very compact and great for travel! I really love the blush!! I want a full size of it so beautiful on skin!! Must buy!! Retails $19 Sephora A travel-size highlight, blush & contour palette with 3 new shades to create an effortless, beachy glow on every skin tone.
Favorite Primer - Oily Skin!
I don't typically believe in primers, but I also won't turn one down. Since I have very oily skin, I'm always willing to try a primer that claims it's Mattifying or controls oil. About a year ago, I started venturing into the clean-beauty brands and 100% Pure is one of those brands I ran across. The primer is something I decided to try because it was on sale for 50%. This is a pretty expensive primer that runs for about $50. HOWEVER, I instantly fell in love with this product! This is the only primer I've tried that controls my oil ALL DAY. I do get a little shiny towards the end of the day, but I'm fine with not touching it up because it looks like hydrated skin. This product doesn't extend the wear of my makeup, but it doesn't bother me because the most I would wear my makeup is for about 8 hours. They also have a more hydrating primer! so there's something for every skin type. I understand this primer is expensive so I would wait for a sale to happen on their website to purchase and save money! They also have after-pay which helps. This primer comes in a glass bottle btw (: 100% pure - Mattifying Primer Sample Packet (I couldn't find the full-size)
Baby blues 🦋
I’ve had a very bad coupe of days, my mental health has just been the worst it’s been in a while so I turned to makeup therapy to cheer myself up, but ended translating my feelings to my eyeshadow 😛 On one of my other makeup looks I mentioned loving one of the Colourpop tie-dye palettes, the truth is I love them all! Such a beautiful pastel collection. For this look I used the COLOURPOP - In a Trance Shadow Palette and the two light blue shades pictured! I also used my beloved e.l.f. - Putty Eye Primer in white to intensify the colors, and also to keep the shadows on my hooded eyes. You guys already know I have very hooded eyes and eyeshadow just tend to get everywhere if I don’t use a good eye primer. I also used the eye brushes from the e.l.f. - e.l.f. xo Nabela Noor Beautifully You Brush Set these brushes are so soft! Elf’s been really killing the game for me lately ⭐️ I felt playful so I also used these cirque colors - Belated Birthday Charms that are meant to be used on nails but I thought it would look so cute to add a little charm to my eyes, I used lash glue to glue them on and I think it’s such a cute, playful look! Also used my favorite mascara at the moment, this #Prosa - Mascara 4 en 1 con Micro Fibras[products]#[FiveStars] is from a Mexican cosmetic brand and it’s so so good! If you haven’t tried Mexican mascaras you’re missing out. If you know what I’m talking about then you’re probably familiar with the By Apple mascara, their Pink & Green mascara is very popular. The Prosa mascara is similar but the brush is much better in my opinion, and this one has micro fibers in it that add so much volume and it holds a curl like no other 🙌 highly recommend! I love doing single eyeshadow eye looks, just applying one or two similar tones to the eye and blending upwards and outwards to diffuse the color, it’s super easy but looks so good in my opinion! I think it’s perfect if you want to play with color but don’t really know what to do, just throw on your favorite color, add a little blush and leave your lips natural and boom, a whole LEWK 💅🏼💗✨ #CheriePartner
Make brown eyes pop 🍐✨
When I first started getting into makeup, at around 13, I remember reading magazines that recommended certain colors to make your eye color pop and look brighter. Purple and green were always the top recommendations for brown eyes 👁〰️👁 My favorite color to wear back then was a frosty, lime green shadow my mom had on a Mary Kay palette, and just apply that all over my lid 😜 surprisingly it always got me compliments among my friends lol This is a more refined, adult version of that look. I used the COLOURPOP - Aura & Out Shadow Palette I used the shade ‘Fresh Cut’ and just applied the shadow all over my lid and blended it upwards so it kinda fades over my lid hood 😅 I love Colourpop shadows, their 9-pan palettes are my favorites. The color story of these “tie-dye” palettes just spoke to me. And they’re around $12-$15, so they adjust to my budget! I also used the e.l.f. - Putty Eye Primer in white, I can’t remember if they have other colors, but the white one is the one I use when I’m using matte, pastel shadows to make the color really show up on my lids and it also keeps the shadow in place since I have hooded eyes and things just love to move around on my lids. And that’s it! It’s so easy and I’m honestly a huge fan of single shadow looks! It also looks super cute with shimmery shadows. What’s your favorite color to make your eyes pop? 😌 #CheriePartner

Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer This product came out earlier last year. I love concealers because I have dark circles and I’m always looking for a good one. This became a staple product in my collection after trying it. Just a couple days ago Kosas released new shades to their line so hopefully it works for more people now. This is a description based on the Kosas website: Turn on your best skin. A medium coverage, super creamy concealer, eye cream, and spot treatment in one that visibly brightens and helps reveal better skin over time. Sooo what are my thoughts? This product is on my top three favorites for a concealer. If I’m going for a natural makeup look I ALWAYS grab this one. It’s extremely creamy and looks beautiful on the skin. After applying it under my eyes I can instantly see the skin care benefits. It sounds weird, but it’s true. This concealer is medium coverage, but if I want added coverage I just use an eye corrector beforehand. It also lasts all day if I set it with powder. Cons? This product runs VERY yellow. Even for me, it’s a little too yellow sometimes. If I want to neutralize this shade I mix it with another concealer. It will crease. Because this product is so creamy, it will crease under your eyes if you don’t set it. What are your thoughts on this product?
Ilia & Kosas on Sensitive Eyes- hit or miss?
I have very sensitive eyes, and just about every makeup brand (including natural/organic) I’ve tried irritates them; they get watery, sting, and within 20 minutes I have to run to the sink to get it off. I got to the point where I just didn’t want to bother trying anymore. Lately however, I’ve started looking again for that HG product that my eyes wouldn’t hate; I’m tired of looking at eyes that look permanently tired (hereditary dark circles). I did a bunch of snooping online, and after staring at Ilia products and Kosas for awhile, and reading reviews, I decided to spend the $$, so here’s my thoughts! I swatchedILIA - True Skin Serum Concealer and Kosas - Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer, and ended up giving Ilia’s a try. I picked up their lightest shade, in Arrowroot. My skin leans combination and I wanted something that felt barely there. Kosas concealer is just what it advertises, it’s very creamy and has a very heavy consistency. Their lightest shade also was too dark on me, so I went with Ilia. The concealer itself really does blend seamlessly into my skin, it has sort of this barely-there scent that I can detect if I sniff the bottle, but it isn’t something I’d ding it for. It kind of just smells like a yummy skincare product tbh. It has a super light consistency, if makeup could be serum-ish, I guess this would be it? It’s very light, and it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything which is exactly what I hoped for. The verdict? Hit! No stinging, no itchiness, no irritation. I was super pleased, and it held up all through the day without primer. No creasing really either, which I was impressed with. All in all I will 100% continue to use this, and I’d really like to try some of their other products! The price is a bit hefty, at $30.00 if you’re looking for more affordable products. But in this case I feel like I’m getting what I paid for, especially for a product that not only doesn’t piss off my eyes, but works beautifully. As for Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara , I’m kind of sad. Here’s why: It didn’t clump, and it did just what it says. My lashes were voluminous, but also looked very natural. And, most importantly, my eyes didn’t hate it. It felt fine, and all day I forgot I was wearing it. The one gripe I have with it though, is that within the first hour it began rubbing off underneath my eyes, which really sucks because I love everything else about this mascara. It proceeded to do so on and off throughout the day, and honestly it’s like most of it faded off. Due to that, l probably won’t continue to use it. I wanted this to be my HG, but it was kind of a miss due to the way the formula rubbed off and faded. I’m glad I got the mini to trial it instead of the regular size, which retails for $28.

90s makeup with only 4 products!
The 90s gave us a lot of amazing makeup trends, but one that I always love to recreate is the blue eyeshadow trend. Back in the day, everyone went for the frosty blue look and I’ve found that you can easily recreate it in just 2 steps. First, you need a light iridescent pink eyeshadow shade to create your base. I love using the shade Silk Teddy from my Too Faced Natural Eyes palette and then adding a little extra to the inner corner for some added sparkle. Once that’s applied, I go in with Stila’s Suede Shade Liquid Eyeshadow in the shade Something Blue, which is a gorgeous sky blue hue that has a hint of shimmer. I like to apply it all over the lid with the applicator it comes with and then use a fluffy eyeshadow brush to blend it out and create a diffused look. My eyes are almond shape and slightly hooded and I’ve found that this formula dries really fast, so you have to be quick with your blending or else it won’t move the way you want it (which you can kind of see in the video). Because of that, this formula isn’t my favorite but Something Blue is the perfect color for this kind of look. To make the look even more ‘90s, I recommend applying your favorite pink blush and really going for it. For my look, I added a generous amount of Tower 28’s Beach Please balm in the shade Magic Hour and then finished it off with a sweep of Tower 28’s ShineOn Jelly Lip Gloss in clear. #CherieCreators

✨ New Product - Tarte Eyeshadow Holiday Set ✨
I first saw this launch on TrendMood back when it was first released at the beginning of September! It’s part of the Tarte holiday collection. I decided to grab when it was part of Ulta’s 10X the points event in September since I wanted it as soon as I saw it. The 3 tiny palettes have cute neutral color schemes that are great for everyday. They even include some new shades and they’re space saving since they’re so tiny (also perfect for travel) and the various undertones are nice to have. I had bought the full size of the Tarte Toasted palette and ended up decluttering it because I wasn’t impressed by the formula. I was hoping these were more pigmented and lasted longer. I really like the shimmers, they’re so soft and easy to work with. They did crease within a few hours, even with using a primer and glitter primer. The mattes are hit and miss, some are pigmented and blend effortlessly, while most are patchy and not pigmented. I’m just meh about this new release now, I don’t think Tarte’s eyeshadow formula is really for me. This set would be nice for gifting to different people since it can be broken up, if pigmentation isn’t something that’s important to you or you have a small eyeshadow collection. If you’re looking for something pigmented, long lasting or for a quick look, I wouldn’t grab this. . #cheriepartner
New goodies 🌵
Good morning, everyone 💕 We are on telework today as the smoke in the NorCal region is awful and the air quality is very poor. I don’t mind because that means I can play with my new makeup! These are a few recents I picked up from Ulta when they were released. The highlighter from Morphe is in the shade “Moonbeam” and the gloss is the shade “Jupiter”. Hope you’re all having a great week and, as always, remember to hydrate and check your WiFi 😘

Setting Powder + Dry Skin
Laura Mercier I heard alot of hype about this setting powder from Laura Mercier and wanted see to try if it worth the hype. When using this powder I first by doing my eyebrows first for my makeup routine. Next I put concealer around my eyebrows to have a cleaner look. Then I wait for the concealer to dry a little bit, then I put setting powder with using a blending brush so it's easily spread all over my eyelid and brow. I love doing this method because it makes a perfect canvas for my eyelid to add eyeshadow. After applying the eyeshadows and eyeliner, next put foundation and concealer or anything else that is wet I wait for it to dry. Then I use a big puffy brush and add the same powder all over my face not too much because it will cause dryness. Then after applying I will use the same brush but to wipe a little bit off my face like I said it does cause drying. Overall I like using it in a day I have for occasion that I want to look snatched but for me myself an everyday use I don't use too much of this product. Don't forget to like and follow for more😘😘😘 And also follow my Instagram Page at @sweet_citrustea

KOSAS The Wet Set
Kosas - The Wet Set Kosas - Wet Lip Oil Gloss So with this set I really like the product, this is a very good lip oil and the pigment stays even when it feels like the gloss is wearing off. This set came with the shades Jellyfish, Dip, and Jaws (swatched in that order from top to bottom) and they’re all so pretty! I tried the shade Malibu like a year ago but it was toooooo bubblegum pink and I gave it away to my mom. Jellyfish is a clear gloss, Dip is a pearly neutral nude, and Jaws is a warm red. My favorite by far is Jaws because I’m a red lip person. My only issue with this set is how small the tubes are. There isn’t a whole lot of product in here, and while it’s really good for testing out a few colors, it may not be worth $25. I dunno, I’m enjoying them and will probably end up buying the regular size of Jaws.
Kosas - Keep It Clean Clean Volumizing Mascara and Hydrating Lip Set Got this from sephore sale for $24! I really want to try the lip oil but i dont like it like fr i cant even get a product from the tube! The applicator is very small and not much product, they focused More on the packaging of it instead whats inside. Its good i didnt buy the gloss itself and just bought this set. Kosas - Wet Lip Oil Gloss OMG this is the best lip balm ive ever used! Its mentholy, minty and hydrating! Idk but its more buttery that really nourishes the lip and the shape of it is different too! Kosas - Port LipFuel Hyaluronic Lip Balm I want to try this mascara too! Looks interesting! Kosas - The Big Clean Volumizing + Lash Care Mascara
I love my new stick foundation from Bite! It’s a great colour match after it settles into the skin and oxidizes slightly. I buffed it in with a brush and it was easy instant coverage. I like how it smooths out and makes my skin look so so healthy! I wish it was more long lasting however Milk MAKEUP - Flex Foundation Stick

NARS- my favorite concealer!!
This is the NARS creamy concealer in the shade vanilla. I was introduced to this concealer last year through a sample that I received at Sephora. I have been obsessed with all of NARS concealers since then. This formula is so creamy and blends incredibly well. I sent this with some powder and it is there all day. I absolutely love this concealer and I highly recommend it to anybody it is definitely worth it! I know that NARS prices can be a little steep so I recommend looking at your local Marshall’s because I have seen a bunch of their products there.
NARS-Radiant Creamy Concealer
I’m so sad this stick highlighter didn’t work for me, I usually really like stick highlighter since they’re so easy to use, but this one was kinda disappointing :( I love all the highlighter formulas Colourpop has to offer but this one didn’t wore well. It applies very nicely, looks like a nice sheen on the skin but after a few hours there just tiny glitter specs left and I personally don’t like glitter in my complexion products. I’m sticking to the super shock and powder highlighters myself 💔 COLOURPOP - Lite Stix
Elf Halo Glow Setting Powder in Light
e.l.f. - Halo Glow Setting Powder This is a powder I tried out because I ran out of the Becca setting powder and it wasn’t quite time for me to do my big Glossier order to buy the Wowder. I actually really love it! It comes nowhere close to my love for the Wowder but it’s a nice glowy powder that sets my foundation and still looks like skin. It keeps everything set without looking cakey or powdery. I got whatever the lightest shade is, pretty sure it’s called light, but it’s more like a translucent shade. We’ll see how that goes as summer gets closer and I get more tan. So far I love this and it’s replaced my Becca setting powder!

LUMINOUS SILK FOUNDATION
Ok guys. I wanted to hate this foundation, I really did. I bought the travel size because I NEVER finish foundations, and even the travel size is a whopping $42. It’s a rip off! But the finish is just so, so good. My skin looks radiant and even without too much coverage. It’s very buildable, too. ARMANI beauty - Luminous Silk Foundation

GUYS! Let me tell you, I have found a gem! Profusion, an adorable brand found at Walmart and sometimes Target, has launched a foundation that is to die for. I picked this bad boy up at Walmart for under 7 bucks. It’s a new launch and I haven’t seen it at Target yet. Let’s get to the good stuff: Coverage: So this claims to be a medium to full coverage foundation and it definitely is. I’d say it leans more on the full coverage side, especially when applied with a brush. Anticipate more of medium coverage with a sponge. Either way, this covered my redness and acne/ acne scars very well! Finish: This is described as a satin finish. I have very dry skin so it definitely is satin on me. I can get it to look dewy (which I prefer) by using the right primer and products underneath. I can’t speak on how this would look on oily skin, but I would assume it would look satin or a bit dewy. I think it would tone down nicely with a setting powder if you chose. Also, I had no issues with this oxidizing or anything like that. Longevity: This lasted wonderfully on me. Even as it started to inevitably break down a little by the end of the day, it was graceful. Even my lower face, where my mask is worn, looked nice. Again, set with powder to make this last longer if you need to. Packaging: This sucker is pretty! The packaging is super sleek and has rose gold accents. It reminds me of a high end foundation. It’s a squeeze type bottle (which is handy and sanitary). Ingredients: This gem has hyaluronic acid in it which is amazing for all skin types but especially us dry skinned girl’s! It also has SPF 15 in it. MOST IMPORTANTLY.....IT’S 100% CRUELTY FREE AND VEGAN !!!!😀😀 Now onto the not so pleasant things: It has slight fragrance. I do not like fragrance in my skin care or makeup. It’s usually a deal breaker for me but I will make an exception for this foundation. It’s not strong and disappears once you apply it, but I still could do without it. The shade range is laughable. No inclusivity with this foundation which really disappointed me. The website says there are 12 shades. Most of them are beige with different undertones(warm yellow, neutral, etc). I am not happy with this shade range whatsoever and I hope it expands so that we can all have a shade. I don’t know why companies even bother launching foundations if they aren’t going to include all skin tones. So, despite the shade range being absolutely horrid, I am really liking this foundation so far. It might become a HG for me. I would look for this at Walmart since Target doesn’t seem to carry it yet. If you can’t find it at Walmart, I’d suggest looking on the Profusion website. They have free shipping after you spend a certain amount too. Best $7 I have spent in a long time!😁

My Mental Wellness Improved Through My Self AcceptanceWhen I was around 13 or 14 years old, I remember routinely taking one of my older sister’s black eyeliner pencils before school every morning. I’d arrive early so that I could slip away to the girl’s bathroom to apply a single black line to my eyelids. My parents didn’t allow me to wear any makeup at the time. Although this smudgy line on my eyelids didn’t make me look all that much different, I never felt comfortable at school without it. My teenage mind convinced myself that I needed some sort of cosmetic symbol in order to appropriately express my femininity. Up until that point in my life, society had told girls that looked like me - tall, Black, and with kinky hair - that we somehow weren’t as beautiful as the other girls. For far too long, I believed it too.4 DAYS AGO
