My FAV Foundation for my Skin #CheriePartner
Hey Y’all! So I don’t wear foundation often but when I do I only go for two different ones. Which is The Fenty Foundation (dewy formula) or NYX - Total Control Drop Foundation

InkedMelI looooove the e.l.f. Buffing Foundation brush and the Ultimate Blending brush. I use both of them for liquid foundation and they work sooooo well! Plus, CHEAP! Hope that helps. 😘

Beauty blender dupes ✨
The first makeup sponge I used was the beauty blender pro sponge. I loved it so much. I used it every single day to blend my foundations, blushes, and powders. After using it so much it started looking old and I realized I definitely didn’t want to spend $20 for a sponge. I started trying out so many affordable ones and lots of them didn’t work until... Real techniques miracle complexion sponge, when it’s dry it feels slightly stiff but still nice and soft to the touch. When you wet it it becomes super soft. It blends my foundation very well, similar to the beauty blender at a 1/3 of the price! One of my favorite sponges so far! $5.99 and I’ve found these at marshalls and tj maxx for about $3-4! REAL TECHNIQUES - Miracle Complexion Sponge Hank & Henry midori sponge set, I got this sponge set in my boxycharm and I really like it. The set had the large and small sponge. Slighter stiffer than the real techniques but a nice sponge. The small one is perfect for blending on the inner corners or any hard to reach area. The large sponge gets HUGE when it’s wet, great for apply blush in my opinion and anything you want. Even if it’s kinda stiff this is still very soft. Unfortunately online they’re sold separately $14.00 for the large sponge and $9.00 for the small one. HANK & HENRY - Midori Bundle Miss A AOA studio super soft wonder blender, one of the best really affordable sponges I’ve tried. It’s really soft and blends like a dream. Very very slight stiffness when dry but super soft when wet. Haven’t had any problems with this one. $1.55! I didn’t have mines with me so I attached a picture of it. AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender Last and definitely not least the original beauty blender in pro, super soft to the touch and incredible at blending. The hype is real. $20 beautyblender - Pro If you want to spend $20 every few months then this sponge is worth it, super great! If you’re like me that prefers a more affordable one than these options are great as well. These all feel great on the skin, blend your makeup and at the end of my makeup routine I’ve found that these all look very similar and almost identical to each other. ☺️✨
My fool proof routine for the perfect base!
Forming a base routine can be so tricky, time consuming, and expensive! Especially with my combo skin! When I wear foundation this is the routine I follow. After my skincare has had a few minutes to soak in, I start with sunscreen! Sunscreen over long term use is going to help your skin look more even and bright! It’s so much easier to get the glass skin effect when you don’t have dark spots or an uneven tan. I’ve been using the LANCÔME - Absolue Premium BX Regenerating and Replenishing Care SPF 15 Skincare but there are certainly cheaper options out there! (I’m a big fan of the COOLA - Classic Face Sunscreen Moisturizer SPF 50 ) Next, I spread the LANEIGE - Glowy Makeup Serum all over my face. It’s very emollient and spreads easily on the face without being oily, so I feel comfortable even using this around my t zone! Then I fill in my pores with the e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer Moving my finger in circular motions I apply this to my t zone: inner cheeks, center of the forehead and chin. This is typically when I would apply eyeshadow, but I only used one shade in my crease today to focus on the face. It’s the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Norvina Eyeshadow Palette shades Love and Incense mixed. Then I move to the under eyes. I use the BECCA - Under Eye Brightening Corrector Because I am fair to light and have a pink - neutral undertone this works as a concealer for me! If you are yellow or strictly neutral this may not work for you! I use my finger to gently pat this on my under eye starting towards the inner corner and blending outward. Next is foundation. I use the AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender This is the best beauty blender dupe I’ve ever found and it’s only like $1. I pump two pumps of the ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Stay-in-Place Foundation on the back of my hand and start blending it out using a sponge. I do make sure to blend it on down my neck so I don’t get a foundation line. I am in the shade Ecru. Then I dip into my NATASHA DENONA - Diamond & Blush Palette . Still using the sponge, I blend the cream blush (top middle shade) into my cheeks starting at the top of my cheekbone towards the hairline. This helps prevent getting a lot of product in the middle of your face where we want to bring light! With my finger I blend the cream highlight (top left) over the blush at the very top of my cheekbone. I usually line this up with the outer corner of my eye. If you’re a bronzer person like me, you can apply bronzer using a fluffy brush to your temples, nose, and outer perimeter of your forehead. I use the BECCA - Sunlit Bronzer because it has a sheen that makes it look so natural! This is the shade Bronzed Bondi. I finish by dusting a light amount of the Coty Airspun Powder #cheriepartner

foundation review (i don’t really do makeup).
i’ve always watched beauty gurus such as james charles, nikita dragon etc. i’ve always been interested in makeup but never really tried much. i always had this neutral kind of look to it. i never went full on out as in foundation, setting powder, bronzer, highlighter, eyebrows, false lashes, eyeshadow etc. i would normally wear concealer, bronzer (just a little + a little contour), a tiny bit of highlighter, gelled my brows and curled my lashes. As i read more into makeup, i struggled to find a good, light, soothing foundation but i’m sure i’ve found the one & I ADORE IT. NYX - Total Control Drop Foundation i promise you this leaves you with smooth, silky, natural look & it’s so easy to remove with the right products. IT IS ALSO AFFORDABLE WHICH I LOVE. you can this at your local drugstore. ps. if you have any good makeup you can recommend me as i want to start getting better at more full face glams, it would be very much appreciated. <3 lmk your favourite foundations!

FLAWLESS TOOLS = FLAWLESS FACE👄
When it comes to the best kind of makeup, you want to ensure you know how to do your skin makeup right and for years I have tested many tricks and tools and perfected my technique to ensure I was able to master my skin makeup each time👍🏽 These are two of my favourite tools for two to use when creating a flawless base for the rest of the work!😊 Let’s start with this amazing sponge that is $2 from shopmissa AOA studio - AOA Wonder Blender this is legit softer & cheaper than the OG beautyblender (and yes, I’ve tried both) and this has to be my ALL TIME FAV! I stock up on these because they are sooo cheap and I make sure to dampen mine (duh) and then bounce the foundation all over my skin! Every time I use this for my foundation, I instantly have a beautiful blended canvas to work off of! 😍 not only foundation but this is also perfect for my concealer! One tip I would give for concealer is letting it sit and dry a little and then going in with your damp sponge! This helps in the longevity and the coverage of the product! Plus applying powder to set the face with your damp sponge also keeps your makeup in place all day but also gives the most flawless airbrushed look ever🤩😛 The next tool is newer in my collection but I already love it and it’s the BATTINGTON - Powder and Contour Brush Set which is sooo beautiful but also the brush itself is super soft and fluffy and yes it’s a powder brush but it a slightly tapered so I really love it for my blush! It’s blends out the blush really well and picks up just enough due to the size of the brush! Honestly you really can’t go wrong with either tool because when you are doing your makeup, your face makeup needs to be on point so make sure you have the skills but also the best tools as well❤️👏🏽 #cheriepartner

🍫 fenty pro filt’r hydrating is my jam
FENTY BEAUTY - Pro Filt'r Hydrating Longwear Foundation in 420 is my perfect foundation. the original formula was too matte for me - my mother once described my face as “casket sharp” - not a compliment! 😖 i love the addition of grapeseed oil (which i love for my hair), and clearly fenty changed the game with shade ranges. i only need one pump, and i blend with REAL TECHNIQUES - Foundation Brush - a great inexpensive brush, with nice firm bristles. i have had very expensive makeup brushes, and honestly real techniques and sonia kashuk have been my favorites.

The ICONIC setting powder is now available in a new Honey Shade. If you are olive to medium skin tone, this is the answer to your prayers. This setting powder is very light and melts right into the skin for a filter finish. It is also great for all skin types. On top of everything else It is also flash back proof. This finely milled powder keeps your beautiful look locked in for up to 12 hours. This setting powder has always been my go to product but even more so now that it comes in the honey shade. ✨My Favorite Setting Powder
pretty VULGAR - The Powder Room Setting Powder Hey guys! So I have super oily skin, no matter what's on my face my skin is always embarrassingly oily! I mean like shining in pictures and having people ask me "Do you have Vaseline on your face?" level oily!😩 I tried NYX Matte Setting Spray but it made my face super red and irritated and it only made my face more shiny! So I went to Amazon to see if there was a setting powder I could try and this was the first one that popped up! I'm not gonna lie I bought it because I thought the design was cute and that was definitely my determining factor (can you blame me tho!?) But I've been using this setting powder now for a month and it is a life changer! It literally makes my face look super matte and finished! Whereas before my face was red and irritated from the setting spray on top of already being supper oily, now with this powder I don't have any of those problems! This powder is honestly my best friend because it has given me so much confidence! I don't worry anymore about anyone else asking me if I have Vaseline on my face and I also haven't had to run to the bathroom to use a paper towel to wipe my face since I've started using it! If you struggle with oily skin and shining forehead problems and you're looking for something to fix that, this is your product!✨

Worth the money?? 👀
I’ve seen tons and tons of reviews on this product and this price point $65!! I’m allowed to have insanely high expectations. This isn’t advertised as a mattifying product, it does claim to control oils in your T zone. It didn’t do that at all... I followed my regular makeup routine and used Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder instead of my regular MAYBELLINE - Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder And I was pretty disappointed. I was an oily mess about 4 hours in ☹️ Texture wise, it’s finally milled and the packaging is obviously gorgeous. Mine is in the shade medium. It didn’t add any coverage and I used a fluffy brush to set over my T zone and under eye. To be fair, I did try this on one of the hottest days of summer. I’ll continue using this product and update this review if anything changes! As of now, I feel there’s tons of better options out there for much much less 😬
