Vanish spots overnight?
CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Glycolic Overnight Cream Is a dark-spot diminishing night cream powered by smooth glycolic acid and brightening vine sap Viniferine. The Vinoperfect Cream acts as a gentle overnight peel to reveal luminous skin upon awakening. Night after night, dark spots are visibly reduced and skin tone is evened. Viniferine is said to lighten dark-spots, acne’s scars and hyperpigmentation 62% more effectively than Vitamin C INGREDIENTS INCLUDE: Shea Butter ⭐️ Viniferine ⭐️ Glycolic Acid ⭐️ Olive Squalane ⭐️ —— Parfum (Fragrance) ❌ Limonene ❌ Linalool ❌ Geranoil Overall, this one isn’t too bad, if you can look past the fragrance. Looking at the list based off of Sephora, the fragrances listed are last and do not seem too strong. MY EXPERIENCE: I’ve always gotten this with the CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Instant Brightening Cults Set as the price is the same as the serum alone. The Cream is a bit thick and at first reminded me of putting on a mineral sunscreen as it left a white cast. I quickly found it works best on dry skin and just small amounts. You receive 15 ml of the cream in the set which lasts me anywhere from 2-3 months, depending on how many nights a week I use it. Purchasing it alone, $65, you’d get 50 ml which for myself, would last me a very long time, possibly up to a year. The scent is light and not overwhelming. I like using this on nights I use my chemical exfoliator Honeymoon Glow. I’ve had no reactions. I can’t say I’d purchase this one alone but will possibly keep purchasing it in the set. I’m not sure if this is one serum and cream I can give up just yet. I really do see such great results. My skin is softer, brighter and my scars are diminishing. ——- I have heard Caudalie get a bad wrap about being overpriced “grape watered” products and I do believe some are. For instance, their Grape Water mist which is “a vegan exfoliating water that refines skin texture with natural microbeads, to instantly reveal a smoother and fresh complexion with clean pores.” Come on, it’s grape water! But if you’ve got $10 to spend on fancy spritz water, it is refreshing. (I got a bottle from one of my very first Boxycharms). Caudalie is definitely a spa-like experience! I’ve used a few products now and my only wish is for them to eliminate fragrance BUT as Caudalie likes to bring you as much of the spa experience into your home, fragrance is key into that sensory experience. My hope is as companies grow and learn from their customers they can begin to offer a wider range of products that attract their fragrance free customer base as well. Fragrance can be a skin disruptor that we just don’t need in skincare as a “sensory experience”. If it’s not needed, keep it out! I’ll have another review on a new release from Caudalie coming up in about two weeks. An exciting, uplifting product! Much ❤️ my skinnies 🍒

Take a peek inside my Skin Cabinets
Since my husband decided to use the guest bath I have claimed both cabinets....and all my products still don’t fit in them!! I’ll share my bathroom sink area in another post, along with my mini fridge and backup shelf. My fingers are tired from tagging all the products right now 🙈 Let me know if there are any you’re curious about. I believe most products you can find already reviewed on my page. But if there is one not posted about, let me know and I’d be happy to share my thoughts with you. Some of my must haves are: Farmacy Beauty- Honeymoon Glow, Better Daze Ahead & Cheer Up Indie Lee - CO-Q10 Toner and & Brightening Wash Medik8- Crystal Retinal & HYDR8 + B5 Caudalie - Radiance Serum Sunscreen! Sunscreen! Sunscreen! Youth to The People - Superberry Mask, Energy Facial The Ordinary- Niacinamide & Hyaluronic & the Facial Peel Elemis - Suerfood Mask Many of these have been repurchases. If a product is sitting out on my counter or in my cabinets, I’m enjoying using them. I have baskets of products that didn’t work so well for me but I keep them for friends to try or to create fun texture art. It’s taken me at least an entire year to gain the collection I have. I had subscribed to many subscription boxes so a good majority of products came to me that way. I haven’t received PR in a long time and the few items I did receive were from some small companies. I don’t mind receiving PR/gifts I just am very picky about what I will use so sometimes the offers don’t jive with them. Let’s see your skincare cabinet ☺️ @CreateOnCherie @CheriePick

Let’s talk toners
Toners...remove any last traces of dirt and grime stuck in your pores. They are really useful for people with oily/ acne prone skin. Toners with good ingredients can restore the ph balance of your skin, clean clogged pores and prep your skin for the next step of your skincare routine. But make sure you choose a toner that has good and clean ingredients otherwise it will end up stripping your skin. Choose wisely! I listed the four toners that I am currently using. Rating them from best to worst from my personal experience. 1️⃣ CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner love love love this toner! The bottle I currently use is almost finished in a month and I am definitely going to repurchase it. That’s how much I love it! Lol! It vegan and cruelty free which is great. It has surely help unclog my pores to a certain extent. It’s mild aroma really soothes me and makes my skin cleaner. It has salicylic acid which helps fight my acne as well. Overall a win-win and definitely a repeat buy for me. 2️⃣ #Frudia - Avacado Relief Essence Toner[products]#[FourStars] I have only recently started using it so cannot talk much about it. Though the initial reviews are great. It’s vegan and cruelty free which is something I am keen on and trying to transition all my skincare to. It has over 60% avacoado extract and amino acids that are really great for both oily and sensitive skin types. Really excited to this and if I love its long term effects then I will try the FRUDIA - Pomegranate Nutri-Moisturizing Tonernext. So fingers crossed! 🤞🤞🤞 3️⃣ THE BODY SHOP - Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner I like this product because there was a time when nothin else helped me keep my acne in check except for this one toner! That was when I didn’t know much about skincare. It has been a long journey since then and now I like to keep myself updated with the ingredients and what they really do to our skin. On the flip side this one contains alcohol which is a bit drying at times. Because of this I won’t be re-buying. 4️⃣ THE BODY SHOP - British Rose Petal-Soft Gel Toner I don’t really use it on my face anymore. Only on my neck and hands. It has a lot of fragrance which is something I am really trying to avoid right now. I feel like harsh ingredients like alcohol, fragrance etc. are really stripping on my skin especially my hormonal acne which can really get worse at times. So I wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone. But since I have bought it and paid good money for it I don’t wanna throw it either. I think as consumers we should be more responsible about product buying and wastage. So I use it on the rest of my body but will definitely not re-buy it. Phew! That is a long post. If you made it till then end I would love to know what you think about my post and these products. If you didn’t make it till the end I would still love to know when I lost you!

These are my October/November empties: SAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask mini pink skys Australian clay mask. I really liked this sample, I found that my skin looked brighter and clearer after use, and it worked great on blemishes :) Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 also enjoyed using this sunscreen, I hate when spfs feel greasy and leave white casts, and this was clear and left my skin with a mattish finish. I would consider repurchasing, it’s just a bit pricey at $34 for 1.7oz. SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I love this so much! It smells amazing and it’s super hydrating, I already have the bigger size 😍 VERSED - FOUND THE LIGHT Powder With VC I liked how easy this was to add to any product (I was adding a couple of shakes to my morning moisturizer), but ultimately I don’t think it did much for my skin so I wouldn’t repurchase. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner and CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser both were great minis, and they lasted me a while. They smell amazing, and did their job. I would consider purchasing the full sizes in the future. THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum - not really an empty but it expired and turned a weird color so it’s time to toss. I like it and have another one that I will probably open soon. SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Face Toner - I liked this toner, I know people aren’t big fans of witch hazel but I find it works well for my skin. I got it in a FFF box and it lasted a while, but It’s expensive and nothing too special so I won’t be repurchasing. COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch i liked these little patches, they’re affordable and do a great job of drawing out pimple gunk.

Sephora favorites samples worth it? 👀✨
When I saw this Sephora favorites bag, I really wanted to get it for the ren body serum and the caudalie gel cleanser. I debated if it was even worth it, I bit the bullet and got it. I’ve got to say these are worth it. It’s great that it includes a 15% off code for each item. The caudalie purifying gel cleanser is 1oz. The full size is $28 for 5oz so it comes out to $5.60 and oz. first time I tried it it felt really good on my face. Didn’t dry me out and if I end up loving it I’ll have to get the full size. CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser Ren clean skincare body serum, this came in a great 1.7 oz. The full size is $42 for 6.8 oz. so it comes out to about $6 with some change. I’ve been using this for a couple days and it feels great on my skin. REN CLEAN SKINCARE - AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum Lancôme mascara. This is the mini 0.06oz. The full size is $25 for 0.33 oz, $13 for the 0.13 travel size so the mini 0.06 comes out to $6.50. Pretty nice mascara so far. It doesn’t clump up. LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Mascara Ouai hair oil. This came in the 0.33 mini size. The full size is $28 for 1.5 oz, $14 for 0.45 oz. This mini size I will assume it’s about $10-12. Just used this oil and it’s incredibly soft. The downside is the smell. It’s pretty heavy but it kinda smells like gardenia flowers to me. OUAI - OUAI Hair Oil Make up for ever ultra HD microfinishing loose powder. It’s in a tiny 1 g jar. The full size $36 for 8.5 g, $20 for 4 g travel size so the 1 g jar would be about $5. I’ve had this powder before and really likes it a lot. It’s super fine which I love. It sets my makeup well and hasn’t given me that many creases. MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder Versace perfume sample. In a very tiny spray. It’s 0.03 oz. The travel size in a spray is $30 for 0.3oz. So for 0.03 it would be about $3.75 I’ve had this in the travel size roller ball. Really nice perfume with flowery notes. I love the peony, lotus and magnolia scents. VERSACE - Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette This bag was definitely worth it to me. I ended up liking every single product. As in the price, I’d say it’s pretty good. Personally the value of the bag is more than the $10 I spent. This may definitely not be correct but this bag could have a value of about $37! The math could be way off but to me I really liked this. Have you tried or bought this bag, or are you not interested?

Cleansing Routine to Manage Acne
I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone. Finding a routine to manage my acne took almost eight years. My trouble spots are my cheeks, forehead and above my top lip. I’m pretty strict with my routine, because my skin is not fond of change. AM ROUTINE I like to keep my morning routine simple and light because too many products stress out my skin, feel heavy, cause breakouts and I end up sweating them off. I cleanse with CAUDALIE - Instant Foaming Cleanser . I love this cleanser because it uses clean ingredients that don’t over dry my face and it smells great! The only reason I knock off a star is because fragrance is included in the ingredients, which can irritate some folks. My face is pretty sensitive and I haven’t had any issues. To moisturize, I pat CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid on my face and neck (never forget your neck!). It works like magic! It dries clear, feels light and doesn’t leave you oily. I can literally feel the moisturizer eating up the excess oil on my skin. I love it. I definitely recommend this product for people with oily skin. Afterwards, I always always always SPF my face and neck. I’ve been using Glossier. - Invisible Shield Daily Sunscreen and I love it’s consistency. It’s super light and leaves that dewey glow that everyone loves. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. If anyone has any dupe recommendations — let me know! PM ROUTINE I go HAM during my night routine to treat any trouble spots and damage. At night, I cleanse with DIFFERIN - Daily Deep Cleanser BPO 5% . The benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria and keeps my breakouts to a minimum. I follow it with DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel . This is the secret ingredient! If you try any of the products in this post, this is the one. It has really minimized my breakouts. Before using the treatment gel, there was never a day a didn’t have at least one bump. Afterwards, I use Glossier. - Super Bounce Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin B5 Serum to add some extra moisture to my skin overnight. I top it off with the moisturizer I use from my AM routine. ONCE A WEEK AM ROUTINE: 1-2x a week. I use Glossier. - Solution Exfoliating Skin Perfector to exfoliate. Especially after shaving. This is my favorite after shave. It’s a great chemical exfoliator that leaves your skin glowing. Use it after cleansing and before moisturizing. PM ROUTINE: For extra support and as a spot treatment, I mix two drops of TRADER JOE'S - Spa 100% Australian Tea Tree Oil into a small cup of water. I use a cotton pad and pat the mixture on my trouble spots. It minimizes the redness and irritation overnight! I don’t have perfect skin, but I’m so much happier with the state it’s in. My skin is glowing and clear. I finally feel confident showing my face to the world.

Greens!!
This is the Vinopure Pore Perfecting Starter Kit which contains 🍃Vinopure Purifying Gel cleanser. I love gel cleansers. This one was so gentle and refreshing. It also didn’t dry my skin out which I look for in cleansers. 🍃Vinopure Purifying Toner. It has a watery consistency. I didn’t feel like it did anything to my skin. Wasn’t even hydrating. 🍃Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum. It gets easily absorbed. My skin feels quite tight after using it. I have almost used this mini size and I wouldn’t say I am a fan. 🍃Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid. This is my fav out of all. True to it’s name, it is a oil-controlling moisturizer. I have a combination; more so oily skin and it works great for me. All of these have a similar minty scent which is too strong for me. Overall, I have 2 products I liked and 2 that I didn’t. I love trying out minis for this reason! CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid

Late October Haul 🎃
This month I decided to treat myself to a little haul! The above products were purchased from Sephora and Amazon. Some of these products I’ve had my eye on for months, while others I compulsively bought! On the second slide are all of the sample products that were kindly supplied by Sephora 🙂 Sephora: PAT McGRATH LABS - Eye Ecstasy Duo: I bough these pallets out of compulsion. I only own one pallet which is the URBAN DECAY - Naked Ultimate Basics Eyeshadow Palette. I really want to start incorporating makeup into my feed, so I went on the hunt for a new pallet. I was able to get both of these pallets for $14 each instead of $28 each. That’s a steal for me! I cannot wait to dip into the Sublime pallet! DRUNK ELEPHANT - E-Rase Milki Micellar Water: Getting back into makeup I knew I needed a makeup remover. Just about everyone I know uses Micellar Water no matter what brand. I decided to go with the Drunk Elephant because I have seen so many product reviews with mixed emotions, so I wanted to try this brand out for myself! Kate Somerville - EradiKate Acne Treatment: This is another product I’ve had my eye on for months! I have seen many reviews of this product and so far everyone has loved it. I can’t wait to give this product a shot tonight after a much needed shower! Review for this product to come very soon! Not pictured: SEPHORA COLLECTION - Makeup Match Highlight Brush Samples: LANCÔME - Bi-Facil Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover Dr Dennis Gross - Dr Dennis Gross Extra Strength Alpha Beta Peel Original belif - The True Cream Aqua Bomb IGK - First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Tatoo Liner in Trooper Deluxe Sample laura mercier - Flawless Lumière Radiance-Perfecting Foundation Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum GUCCI - Free Bloom Eau de Parfum Deluxe Sample Amazon: StriVectin - Daily Reveal Exfoliating Pads: I saw that StriVectin just recent came out with these. I was quick to purchase these because I have been looking for a product that I can carry with me at all times and quickly use during the day when my face is super oily while I’m out and about! I was originally using the OXY - Acne Medication Deep Pore Cleansing Pads, but the ingredients aren’t great for the skin at all! So I am super hyped to find a much more healthier alternative! Rael - Miracle Ratch: I originally found these on Instagram. I have been on the market for acne patches for sometime. My local target didn’t have any in stock, so I took to the internet. When I found these I looked up reviews, and every single one was positive. I cannot wait to try these!

my three favorite serums 🧺
My skin type: combo, acne prone, sensitive, rosacea My skin concerns: acne, dark spots, dryness, hyperpigmentation, redness CAUDALIE - Vinopure Skin Perfecting Serum + perfect for oily skin types, this serum controls sebum production! + I use it whenever my acne is getting out of my hand (or maskne), and it usually cleans my pores out better than other similar serums. Best for me in the mornings, always followed by spf. + makes my pores appear less noticeable (you can’t really shrink them like the claims suggest but they do look “better”) + I love the glass bottle! Easily recyclable and feels luxe. + smells fresh and clean + ingredients: salicylic acid, grape seed, essential oils (important to note cause you could be allergic or sensitive) + $49, not great, but lasts me forever Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Liquid + marketed as a moisturizing toner, but is very thick to be a toner + I use in the am or pm, after tonight and before actives and my moisturizer. + smells a little funky, like herbal-ly but like tea? + moisturizes and hydrates very well, but takes a while to sink in. + repairs my moisture barrier pretty fast, the ceramides really work hard and fast. + makes my skin supple and bouncy + ingredients: ceramide complex, fig, cica, and phyto extracts + $39 for 5oz which is INSANE for how long this has lasted me (about a year with use every other day or so) AUGUST & LEO SKIN - CC Glow Serum + vitamin c serum by a brand owned by a Black woman! + not sticky, but I really was sure it would be. I am surprised every time I try it. It sinks in fast, too. + smells like those orange wedge candies! I thought the fragrance would be irritating but it’s not. + doesn’t pill, works well with my other products. + I use it in my PM routine only. + helps fade my dark spots faster than they would face on their own! + ingredients: vitc is made from 5% sodium ascorbyl phosphate, German chamomile and hyaluronic acid are also included. + $62 is maybe not worth it, but I have seen good results so far. #CheriePartner

My Skincare Routine
My Skincare Routine
I’ll go into detail about each one in separate posts, but this is everything I use as a collective. The only thing that isn’t pictured are my cleansers, I use Cetaphil - Gentle Skin Cleanser for the days I exfoliating or need something more gentle. I love how light the scent is, and how easy it is on my skin, but if you need something more acne fighting, I would suggest something stronger since this product is all about cleaning. I’m still learning what type of cleanser is for what type of skin, but it’s a gel consistency and has a nice smooth and thick texture, so I believe it’d be great for oily/combo skin types. I also use a turmeric brightening cleanser but can’t remember the name and I’m away from home. 😊

Beginners guide to skincare!!
Beginners guide to skincare!!
When starting skincare I had no idea what I was doing and bought everything I could without knowing what it actually did. Disclaimer I am in no way a dermatologist / esthetician’s these are just knowledge I have gained from dermatologist. Also this is just a pt. 1 be use there is so much information to give. So let’s start with morning skin care : Step 1 :cleanser I’m the morning I like to use a light and gentle cleanser to Step 2 : serums I like to use vitamin c serum in the morning Step 3: moisturizer I use the Dermalogica calming water moisturizer which is what works best for my skin. Step 4: sunscreen This is honestly a step that I need to get into the habit of. It doesn’t matter what your skin type is make this apart of your routine Night routine: Step 1 : cleanse / double cleanse I used and oil based makeup remover balm and rub that in my face and use a wipe that has retinol in it to remove and then I go in with my urban skin rx Step 2: toner Use one without alcohol in it because it will dry out your skin. Step 3: serums I use the bio oil which helps with my dark spots and discoloration that I have Step 4: treatments I put spot treatment on my face whenever I have a stubborn pimple. I also use a facial steamer, micro needling, electric facial scrubber, and obviously face mask ( when doing these make sure it is after washing and the spot treatment is when you are done with everything) There will be a second post maybe more depending on how much more information I have left I’m going to cover different ingredients , what is best for acne, different skin types

Skin Care Routine
Skin Care Routine
Hello! I though I would come on here and make a post in regards to my current skincare routine. I am looking for suggestions on the routine. First, I would like to give you some feedback on my skin currently. As of right now I am broken out, I have some dark spots and hyperginmentation on my cheeks, my pores on my nose, under my eyes, and my chin are very large and have many black heads. I do have dark circles and deep wrinkles under my eyes, but I am not too concerned with them as I am the above things. I just recently switched around my entire skincare routine. I recently found The Ordinary and contacted them about a skin care routine for my skin type. This was the regimen I was told to use with their products (or others): Morning routine: Cleanser Hyaluronic Acid 2% +B5 Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Moisturizer Sunscreen Night time routine: Cleanser Toner Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Azelaic Acid (2-3 times per week) Moisturizer The current cleanser I am using are The Ordinary Squalane cleanser, Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser, and the Neutrogena Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Cleanser (only when I shower). For the moisturizer I am switching between First Aid Ultra Repair Barriar Cream, Kate Somerville DeliKate Recovery Cream, and Neutrogena Hydro Boost. I switch between these three moisturizers depending on my skin. For sunscreen I am currently using the CeraVe hydrating sunscreen SPF 30. When I am finished with my sample size I will be switching to the Neutrogena Clear Face Breakout Free SPF 55 sunscreen. I will admit after using these products for about two weeks I have noticed some differences in my skin such as it being much more hydrated, glowing, and small bumps that I have on my neck have reduced. I have also noticed more breaking out of my skin, but I am chalking that up to switching skin care products. I am currently working into adding The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% and the Retinol 0.5% in Squalane. I also would like to add a Vitamin C to my routine, but I am unsure which would be right for me. I am also looking for suggestions on adding antioxidants. Lastly, I am looking for suggestions on other products such as The Inkey List, Paula’s Choice, and La Roche-Posay products for acne prone combination skin.

Good molecules review
Good molecules review
GOOD MOLECULES ——————————— A must try brand⚡️ ——————————— Hey loves, so a couple weeks ago I bought some good molecules products and I want to share my honest opinion. I tried out four products. The clarify & cleanse bar, the instant cleansing balm, niacinamide serum and the silicone-free priming moisturizer. ⚡️ ———————————- ⚡️Clarify & cleanse bar: This product really intrigued me because It has salicylic acid in it. Which is good for acne prone skin. I’ve used this for two weeks straight and it doesn’t strip your skin while cleansing and leaves it smooth, soft, and hydrated. It also cleared away my acne that was kickin around at the time. The amount of product you get for the price is amazing. I would definitely recommend trying this bar! The only thing is it smells quite earthy (probably due to the tea tree oil)— I don’t mind it but some might not be a fan. . ⚡️Instant cleansing balm: amazing! It is the best I’ve tried in a long time. Doesn’t irritate your eyes, and takes off stubborn make-up like nothing. . ⚡️Niacinamide Serum: my new favourite go-to serum. Niacinamide is basically Vitamin B3, which helps with minimizing the size of pores and helps refine skin texture/skin tone. I love this! For someone who suffers from ice pick scars, and large pores this is my holy grail. I’m like pores who? Has made such a difference! I am in love. . ⚡️Silicone-free Primer: I don’t have anything bad to say about this product but it didn’t blow me away. I do like how it is a moisturizer as well as primes to help your make up stay on but as someone who suffers from dryness in winter I feel I just need a little more. But I do love how my make up applies over it! Giving me a smooth canvas to work with. ———————————— Overall my skin is GLOWING and I am loving it! . . All products are Cruelty free as well💗 if you have any further questions please DM and I’ll gladly answer any questions you have. #goodmorning #skincare #skincareroutine #makeup #primer #crueltyfree #review #beautyreview #prsearch #skincareroutine #skincare #morningvibes #beautybloggers #love #serum #glowup #glow #cleansing #cleanbeauty #mua #selftaught #beautyinfluencer #beautycontentcreator #creator

drunk elephant A-Passioni Retinol Cream: i would use this as a spot treatment, about every other day. Its my first time using retinol and it is a high concentration 1% which is why i decided to start of slowly. I’ve been using it for 3mo now and i’ve seen a difference. New pimple/redness would be gone overnight, and my hyperpigmentation has faded over time. It does take commitment when using this product. You won’t see results overnight. It is pricey, so if you have the money, i would recommend this product. drunk elephant T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night serum: i use this twice a week. I apply it on dry skin, as recommended. It does tingle but subsides after a few minutes. Overnight, i feel that my face is smooth like a baby’s butt. I was really surprised on how well this works. It has AHA/BHA mostly AHA which works on the skins surface and helps unglue the dead skin cells so you can expose the new layer of skin. You do need to follow with a sunscreen the morning after. All drunk elephant are pricey, but would recommend 100% Farmacy Green Clean cleansing balm: first time using a cleansing balm and works so much better at removing my waterproof mascara. A little goes a long way depending on how much makeup you wear. I dont use much, but i do use sunscreen everyday (i try my best) and double cleansing is a must! Laneige Cream Skin Toner & Moisturizer: i use this every morning, after washing my face with water only. I dont usually wash my face in the morning unless i workout or feel the need to. This product works as a two in one: toner & moisturizer. I do have combo/oily skin, and some may say its too greasy for oil skin, but at night i use harsh ingredients and i like to use this to restore my skin barrier and moisturize my skin as my night time routine can be drying.

The ordinary has gained a lot of popularity recently and while their products are amazing and offer so many amazing ingredients at such a low price there is a downside to this. The textures of these products are very annoying and hard to work with. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum doesn’t play well with other products nicely at all especially the VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream and almost makes it liquidate or something. It also foams up when you rub it in your hands and feels super tacky on the skin. This isn’t at all a deal breaker for me as it’s a solid serum and it does it’s job well it’s just mildly annoying. It does mildly brighten dark spots and help with pores and that’s all you can really ask it to do. Though this serum is a little bit more oily skin friendly and the THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serumis better for more dry skin types if you want the brightening effects. The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 10% + HA serum is very liquidity in texture which makes it absorb rather quickly which is nice except it’s difficult to get on my face as I usually apply my serums to my hand first and then pay them into my face which didn’t work with this serum as it just ended up absorbing into my hand. This also didn’t do much for MY skin at all. That might just be because I have really oily and resilient skin and a stronger acid would have done a lot more for me but that doesn’t mean this product is bad in fact it could be really good for someone with dry skin or sensitive skin. Exfoliating products that did really help my and might help others with their oily skin and acne are the CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser and The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution . The VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream is a solid moisturizer. It’s good for more oily to combination skin but you could also use this as a serum for dry skin before a thicker moisturizer if you have dry skin because it does have that gel consistency. Personally I also used this as a primer and it held up pretty well because it is a little tacky but not like The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% serum. It’s a great summer moisturizer. Overall it’s a solid pick considering the price and how accessible it is (sold at target) and I definitely recommend it.
