Salicylic Acid: A Friend for oily skin
We must be really familiar with salicylic acid and it, as a beta-hydroxy acid(BHA), has been in this industry for many, many years and is widely added in products targeting pore-unclogging and skin exfoliation. Because of its oil-soluble nature, there is a lot of acne and oil-controlling products loving this amazing ingredient. It also has its pros and cons, however. It may be over-drying for some and can cause irritation even it is comparably mild. These stuffs might be really helpful for those with acne concerns. This is my savior when I need to go to a party or a night out. It has salicylic acid, zinc oxide, camphor, and sulphur to unclog pores, absorb excess oil and quickly calm skin. I like its herbal mint-like smell and though it has white mud texture, it is still easy to apply and wash off. The cooling effect works well and I feel my face cleaner with fewer whiteheads and more breathable. This small tube is also cute and convenient to use. This is my first time trying facial pads. This Clearasil pad contains a lot of salicylic acid and alcohol to remove oil that clogs pores. I know the alcohol sounds really scary; for those with acne and tolerant skin, alcohol is something worth to try since it can be super drying and irritating for some. As for me, this works quite good on my face to fight clogged pore, especially whiteheads and blackheads on my nose. I wash my face first and then this pad, followed by my regular routine, three times a week. On its package, it says to use every day, but after the first try, my face turns a little red and I am sure that’s no irritation. Two weeks past and my face got smoother with it. This pad sounds crazy but with excellent handling, it can bring amazing results. I got two jars and that can last pretty long and I have to mention it is super cheap from the pharmacy. But I actually love the mask better. The Origins 10 minute mask is not cheap considering its content (just 75ml) though, a little goes a long way and before meeting my next lover, I will repurchase this cutie for sure.

Bobbi Brown Masks - which one suits you best!
I have combination-dry skin, and I have some small bits of acne and some blackheads on my T-zone. I've recently bought three new Bobbi Brown masks: BOBBI BROWN - Instant Detox Hawaiian Sea Water & White Clay Face Mask This face mask draws out impurities and accumulated toxins from clogged pores, balancing oil secretion and preventing acne. Those with dry skin can apply it to the T-zone while those with oily skin can use it on the entire face. BOBBI BROWN - Radiance Boost Walnut Grain & Orange Oil Exfoliating Face Mask This mask can gently remove dead surface skin cells for a glowing complexion, helping with the absorption of other skin care products. It is suitable for girls who want to exfoliate but are worried about their sensitive skin. BOBBI BROWN - Skin Nourish Coral Grass & Green Algae Moisture Face Mask Suitable for all skin types. It is very useful for those who don't have enough time in the morning but wish to have impeccable makeup. FYI, I use Instant Detox and Radiance Boosts once every seven to ten days. As for Skin Nourish, I use it either before bed or before makeup. 💓💓

fresh - Umbrian Clay Pore Purifying Face Mask I’ve used this clay mask a few times and am on the fence how I feel about it. This mask really does do wonders for absolutely sucking the pores dry in that respect I think it’s a powerful mask, for me though I think it is a bit too strong and my face feels dry and tight to the point that it’s very uncomfortable and I need extra extra hydration after using this. I think this mask is more useful for acne prone or oily skin! If you have dry skin maybe it’s not for you.

👃🏻J-Beauty: Naris Up Pore Clear Pack 👃🏻
NARIS UP - Pore Clear Pack with Eggshell Essence & Charcoal About me 🤗 and the product 👃🏻Skin type/skin tone I have combination skin. My t-zone is in the range of normal to oily skin and I have dry skin on my cheeks. My skin tone is warm ivory with a slight reddish discoloration in my cheeks 🧐I also have some freckles across my cheeks and my nose bridge. 👃🏻Product function The product claims to effectively clear out blackheads from the forehead, nose, and chin regions. 👃🏻Texture/consistency The texture and consistency is extremely gooey and sticky. The product is slightly hard to spread into an even layer but is not as hard as some other ones I’ve tried before. 👃🏻Packaging The packaging is a standard inverted squeeze tube with a black screw on cap. Since the tube is inverted, after using the product and capping it on, the next time you use it the cap get stuck sometimes since some of the product leaks into the crevasses, making it hard to open sometimes. 😤. The cartoon egg man is adorable though 😌 Beauty story📖 👃🏻Overall experience I bought this pack along with the Moroccan clay mask since I wanted to see which one was more effective. I’ve used similar products to this one before but never any with eggshell essence 😯. Apparently eggshell contains calcium which is needed for cell regeneration and the collagen in it also smooths and moisturized the skin. I did notice that my skin became smooth but not really moisturized. However, unlike the Moroccan clay, this product did not dry out my skin so that’s a plus. 👃🏻Verdict ❤️ I like this product but don’t love it. I’ve tried better products than this before and when I peeled off the dried mask, I only saw a few minute blackheads 🥱. The product did say that it’s a gentle way to fight the t-zone oil and acne but I feel like it was a bit too gentle for my liking. 👃🏻Recommend?✅❎ I would recommend to sensitive skins and any skin type since it is not too strong so it would not irritate dry skinned peeps. I wouldn’t recommend this product for people who are truly looking for a product to strip their pores. 👃🏻Worth it?💰 This product is alright. It costs around $7 for very little and very gentle product so I don’t really think it’s worth it for me 🙅🏻♀️

Charcoal Mask so Sweet you’ll wanna Eat lol
This is a Gentle purifying mask that helps to deeply detoxify while also nourishing the skin (great for acne), leaving it feeling comfortably cleaned, conditioned, and clear! With its formulation of bamboo charcoal, (actively drawing out pore cloggers, impurities, and debris), and golden wildflower and fermented honey it works to soothe skins complexion. With these ingredients it’s targeted to help out w acne or acne scars. I’m in Love w the texture as it’s starts off cool, and starts to conform to room temp and feels exactly like honey. I love to just stare in the mirror when this baby is on as it just glows and glows. I as you will read in most my posts, love Origins so knew when shopping for a mask, I wanted to try them but reading it’s a Charcoal mask and infused with Honey, I just had to have!! I don’t have acne but loved the ingredients in this product- as well as I love a good charcoal mask to remove any impurities after a long days work or a weekend in the mountains by the fire. I use it about once a a week and have used it for months now and love the smooth and “clean feel” results it gives my skin. If you want to unclog pores but yet leave the skin feeling clean and conditioned (glowing) I would highly recommend! Also helps to give skin a perfect foundation for any products you apply in your necessary routine after its use. At $34 for 2.5 fl oz., you can’t beat that! Let me know if you already love yours, or if you go out and get it how it’s changed your life like mine! ORIGINS - Clear Improvement Charcoal Honey Mask to Purify and Nourish
