I had to change my routine from day to night
I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE CHANGES I MADE ... I have approximately 10 days with this routine that has helped me a lot, I see my skin now and I am happy 🙂 I am missing a lot but today I know what I need and I have just enough and what is necessary, we do not need all the ingredients, only those that help you something and help your skin I am happy with the ingredients that I have and I will not change anything else! my day routine is always the same it never changes to me, it worked for me LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser
I'm still looking for
HELIOCARE - 360° Gel Oil-Free SPF 50 UVA/UVB Sunscreen I like it if I like it, at first it is like sticky but when it is absorbed it disappears completely, it does not leave a white trace and it is very comfortable when it sits on the skin, it has not removed pimples or it does not burn in my eyes!
💚💚Good Molecules haul💚💚
So I’m excited to jump in and start using these products I’ve been reconditions from multiple sources and a few I just saw while I was shopping that I just had to try!!! Super excited to let you know how my progress goes!!!
Toners for Oily/Combination Skin
Kiehl's - Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol Free Toner $24.00 for 4.2oz - This toner smells floral, uses real calendula, and balances your skin. I liked it, but later learned the ingredient niacinamide would be helpful for me to implement into my routine so I opted for GM. GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Brightening Toner $14.00 for 4oz - Night and day difference. WOW. Very impressed. Love the feel of it. I have been using it for 3.5 weeks and I can’t wait to continue. I use it morning and night, except when I use an acid toner once a week. Definitely recommend!! Great price. Can be found on beautylish!
Best Vitamin C for all skin type!!!!
✨Happy #FriyayFav, Beauties!✨ It’s no secret that Biossance is one of my favorite skincare brands! A few weeks ago #Biossancegiftedme their new BIOSSANCE - Squalane + 10% Vitamin C Dark Spot Serum and I’m obsessed! This is formulated with 10% Vit C, White Shiitake Mushroom Extract and Sugarcane-derived Squalane - clean, safe and effective for fading dark spots and discoloration without irritating the skin. This serum has a milky white texture, it’s fragrance free and very lightweight. It absorbs quickly on the skin and is very moisturizing. It has been a staple in my morning skincare routine in the last 2 weeks. I love how hydrating it is, and that I can get away with just this and a moisturizer - It making my routine simple and efficient. I don’t have a lot of discoloration but this has definitely brightened the appearance of my complexion. However, I do have a couple of post acne marks from a recent breakout and I can see that they have lightened dramatically. I can’t wait to see more benefits from this serum! This Vit C is such a perfect addition to my Biossance treatment product collection! Love this brand so much!
for me it is the excellent
facetheory - Supergel Oil-free Moisturiser M3 I am loving it, I love its texture, it is light and absorbs quickly into the skin, it leaves a nice glow without being sticky, I have pimples and they become inflamed, they become super red and they hurt and since I have been using it, I have calmed down the inflammation It contains aloe vera, green tea, niacinamide and vitamin C. I really love it 🥰. It is recommended for oily, combination and acne-prone skin
The face wash of all face washes!
LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser I started using this face wash a few months ago and I really like it! I stopped using it for a bit to try out a new fave wash but I went right back to it! It’s very gentle, the texture is nice and I love when my face washes foam up! It means it’s cleaning my skin! I sing the ABC’s when I’m washing my face! It’s the perfect amount of time for me..💕 highly recommend this face wash and brand! The first picture is the bottle and the second is the texture of the wash itself!
Gentle cleanser to maintain your skin barrier❤️
👀- I had used the LA ROCHE-POSAY - Toleriane Purifying Foaming Cleanser for 3 years and claimed it didn’t break me out or over dry my face. Which both were lies and idk why I mentally believed them! 💁🏼♀️- It all started when I saw this tiktok that said “if your skin is tight and has dry patches when your face semi-dries when you first get out of the shower, then your cleanser is wayyyyyyyyy to stripping.” And um boy that happened to me big time, yet I thought it just meant that it was “getting all the oily off” 🤦🏼♀️ Obviously, I’ve had a bit of an epiphany!! 🥳- The CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin was a HUGE change from the La Roche Posay cleanser I was using!! This does not dry my face out at all and my skin adores it!! It’s super gentle and has the same foaming effect as the La Roche Posay cleanser. Idk guys but my skin has never reacted better and it’s already starting to heal from all the drying showers I took. I’ve been using it for about 2-3 months! 🎀- I 100% recommend this cleanser for oily skin because it doesn’t disrupt your natural skin barrier (which you NEED EVEN IF IT HAS OIL ON IT) and it is gentle and still has a clean foaming effect!! ❤️- Thanks for reading and enjoy :) (P.s. I wouldn’t go looking for this at Walmart or ulta because they are frequently sold out, I got the “in the back” spare which is why it has a scratch on it. Just order it online, unless it’s sold out there too😂)
How to Treat Dreaded ‘Maskne’ 🖤
With everything going on right now I know a lot of people (myself included right now) are wearing masks for 8+ hours. With this new addition to daily life a new problem I’ve been hearing a lot about right now is ‘maskne’ or mask acne. With your mask on your face all day causing irritation it’s perfectly normal to experience break outs. When I do get really bad break outs I tend to simplify my routine down to these basic steps: (disclaimer: I myself have oily, acne prone skin that is mainly grade 2) 1.) Cleanse - FARMACY - Clean Bee Ultra Gentle Facial Cleanser A gel cleanser is best for oily skin. It’s also going to be best to get all the sebum, debris, and other gross stuff you may have under your mask from breathing in it all day. This one is gentle but effective without stripping your skin. 2.) Prep - GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum I always use niacinamide as a prep step. My favorite niacinamide serum is from Good Molecules. It’s only $6 and it absorbs really nicely into the skin without feeling sticky. This is going to help regulate oil control so you’re not over producing, calm down any inflammation your new break out may be experiencing, and help heal any pigmentation that might be left behind as the break out heals. 3.) Spot Treat - GEORGETTE KLINGER - Acne Spot Relief Then I go in with a spot treatment. I really like the Georgette Klinger spot treatment because it’s cream formula absorbs really well into the skin to dry out the break out properly without damaging the surrounding skin. It contains both salicylic acid and lactic acid so while it helping to shed dead skin cells from the face so sebum doesn’t get trapped underneath to create more break outs the salicylic acid goes deep into the pores and cleans it out. Another great option is the Clinique Acne Solutions Gel. 4.) Moisturize - FARMACY - Daily Greens Oil-Free Gel Moisturizer with Moringa and Papaya You always want to seal a routine with a good moisturizer. For oily skin I recommend a gel (with dry you’ll want a cream). This will help keep your skin hydrated while it’s healing without feeling too heavy. If you use too heavy of a cream with oily skin you have the potential of clogging the pores and with the mask on top it will just make things worse (With dry skin you don’t have to worry about this as much).

review my morning routine!
Hi guys! Here’s my core skincare routine for most mornings. I’ll throw in extra products or swap some out according to my skin’s needs, but this is it about 90% of the time because consistency is key to seeing results. My current concerns are acne and post-acne red marks, as well as dryness from tret. 1. I cleanse with Dewy·er - Spirulina Face Wash . I got this because it’s touted as a miracle product for hormonal acne, and while I really like it, it’s not enough on its own to tackle my hormonal acne on my jawline. It lathers very well and doesn’t leave my face dry or tight, though. 2. Next I use PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator . I love this for gentle, everyday exfoliation and blackhead control. 3. LilyAna Naturals - Vitamin C Serum is my favorite vitamin C serum—it’s affordable, effective, and doesn’t smell like hot dog water! It also has vitamin E and hyaluronic acid. 4. I use Neutrogena - Rapid Clear Stubborn Acne Spot Gel on the days I have a few pimples I need to get rid of fast. BUT note that if I use this, I don’t use the vitamin C because benzoyl peroxide oxidizes vitamin C and makes them both ineffective. 5. I moisturize withPAULA'S CHOICE - Omega+ Complex Moisturizer , the only moisturizer that’s been able to actually get rid of my flaky tret skin. I love this stuff! 6. Last, I protect with PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ , the only sunscreen I’ll ever purchase for the rest of my life. Seriously, the hype is real. What do you guys think? I’m happy to talk more about any of these products or my routine as a whole!

Post Accutane Night Time Skin Care Routine
While on accutane I had a very simple skincare routine to allow the medication to do its thing. I’m 7 months post Accutane, and my face is still pimple free. Yay! My skin care concerns at this time is discoloration/dark spots and minimal scarring on one of my cheeks. In this routine I am using the Fresh Soy cleanser to cleanse. It’s so important to make sure you’re thoroughly cleansing your face so that the remaining products can properly penetrate the skin. I use esthetician Nayamka Roberts-Smith (@LABeautyologist)’s 60 second rule when cleansing. Cleansing your face with your fingers for 60 sec allows the cleanser ingredients to do their job. This method helps to soften the skin & dissolve sebum blockages a lot better. I then follow up with applying a hydrating toner (Laniege Cream Skin toner and moisturizer) to my face with my hands. Then 2-3x a week I go in with the exfoliating serum ( The Ordinary’s Mandelic Acid 10% + HA serum) to minimize texture and uneven skin tone. Mandelic acid is gentle and works great on hyperpigmentation on people with deeper skin tones. To end it all off, I use the Kate Somerville recovery cream. Morning routine for bright and glowy skin
Me last year = lots and lots of breakouts. Me now = still very acne prone BUT got a hold of it and now I want to target acne scars, get glowy skin and avoid any future flare ups. My morning and evening routines are fairly different. In the evening, I do a double cleanse and use products like my benzagel face wash to reduce the chances of getting acne and mix up a couple different products such as acids or retinol depending on what my skin needs. But in the morning I try to go for a hydrating and brightening routine that will help me reduce my pesky acne scars and make me look glowy and more awake! I also love this routine because most products are from the drugstore. Products: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser This is great for the morning. It’s gentle, hydrating and won’t strip the skin. Definitely worth your money. I'm from - Rice Toner Loving this toner for the morning to help keep my skin plump and bright. This is one of products that I depend on to gently fade my acne scars and overall brighten my whole face. Mad Hippie - Vitamin C Serum I’m not quite ready to give a full review on this yet, but so far, so good! This serum has a higher percentage of vitamin c (10%) than the latest one I was using and also vitamin e and ferulic acid. Overall, skin is glowy and it’s not irritated at all, so I’m happy. THE inkey LIST - Caffeine Eye Cream Keeps eyes hydrated, helps de-puff, all good in my books. HONEST - Hydrogel Cream So excited to put up a full review about this product, but overall, great ingredients that keep skin moisturized and I love how glowy it makes my skin look in the morning. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 Light-weight, good protection, no white cast and also helps give skin a little glow in the morning. Super happy with this purchase so far. Thought of the day: I had been doing a water cleanse in the morning for the last few months but recently read that it wasn’t the best idea. So I’ve started to use this gentle cleanser from Cerave for now. My skin seems to be liking it so far! Does anyone else do a water cleanse in the AM?

Fungal acne routine & getting rid of it forever!
I’ve struggled with malassezia Folliculitis/fungal acne for 6 months. My skin’s improved but you do need patience! Now I breakout occasionally, have redness and pigmentation. Disclaimer: Everyone’s different & this is what I’ve learnt. Leave suggestions below! Treatments: I ruined my gut health and ended getting constant yeast infections which links to malassezia as both are overgrowths of fungus/yeast! I recommend an anti-candida diet. Celery juice, apple cider vinegar in water, probiotics and supplements to boost my immune system all helped. I used Folliculitis scout to search for malassezia-safe products. I’ve used other websites and tbh some of them aren’t accurate or their recommended products broke me out. Every oil (except squalane & MCT), fatty acids and lipids is used by malassezia to grow! Once you eliminate these (which is hard), you can use glycerin or amino acids in your skincare routine and makeup bc they need oil, lipids or fatty acids for malassezia to grow off them. Skin barrier health and moisture is important. Don’t use too many treatments bc your skin will just get sensitive, dry and produce more oils. Also the Nizoral shampoo will ruin your skin barrier even if it kills malassezia off. There are other ways to treat it! Skincare routine: Morning: Benton - Deep Green Tea Toner green tea extract inhibits and combats malassezia. It’s a soothing and moisturising toner/essence. It’s antibacterial properties can target other types of acne too. skinstitut - Vitamin C 100% mix w/moisturiser for pigmentation/scarring Like I'm Five - All Day Soothing Gel Lotion I LOVE THIS. It has xylitol that combats malassezia, glycerin and hyaluronic acid as humectants and panthenol for healing. It’s on iherb for 12 AUD too! A steal! The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane squalane has helped my skin go from oily to normal, hence stopping your skin from over producing sebum where malassezia grows. elta md SKINCARE - UV Clear Broad Spectrum SPF 46 have had a hard time finding a good sunscreen this is one of the few malassezia safe sunscreens. Helps with hyper pigmentation. Nighttime: BIODERMA - Sensibio H2O Soothing Micellar Cleansing Water have tried others and always go back to this. Tried MCT oil, it’s malassezia-safe but oil cleansing is time consuming for me personally. ETUDE - Soon Jung, pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser I’ve tried vanicream but this massively changed my skin. facetheory - PoreBright Serum N10 only use on problem areas 2x a week. Salicylic & azelaic combats malassezia. Or AZCLEAR - Medicated Lotion Benton - Deep Green Tea Toner Like I'm Five - All Day Soothing Gel Lotion The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane

THE Most Underrated Skincare Brand 🏆
I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone. I was dealing with a lot of hormonal acne as well but I’ve finally gotten it a bit more under control but do get breakouts and acne scars still. I’m also very sensitive to fragrance. Recently I bought a few products from Krave and I never plan on going back. They don’t have the fullest range just yet but the products they do have are total rockstars in affordability and ingredients. 🌱 Krave is all about taking a clean break. There are a lot of misconceptions and nasties in the skincare world that are not needed and not smart. Krave is all about taking a break from that and resetting. Here are my current favorites: ✨Great Barrier Relief Serum $28 for 1.52 fl oz 🔑 Key Ingredients: Tamanu Oil, Safflower Oil, Rosehip Oil, Vitamin B3, Ceramide These ingredients are for skin regeneration, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging, brightening, acne-fighting and generally repairing a damaged skin barrier. This serum is turning into an all time favorite between the ceramide and niacinamide ingredient list. I actually use this after a lighter Vitamin C serum during the morning on my mask area and I think it’s been really helping to create a barrier and prevent breakouts from constant mask wearing. This product is great for mimicking your skin’s natural moisture barrier so it’s great for skin that needs help from too many actives, sunburn, etc. ✨The Beet Shield $20 for 50ml 🔑 Key Ingredients: Beet root, Allantoin, Vitamin C, Resveratrol and EGCG. This daytime fluid has ingredients that overall give skin antioxidants, prevent signs of aging, soothe skin, fight free radicals, reduce pigmentation, reduce blemishes and moisturize. This is a chemical screen that is very lightweight. It doesn’t leave skin sticky or leave a white cast. It also has Vitamin C which I love! I feel like using this and their serum has maintained my clear skin even with the mask. Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser $16 for 4.05 fl oz 🔑 Key Ingredients: Matcha, hemp seeds, oats, almonds, Vitamin B5 and Sodium PCA. ✨This cleanser is stunning. It is highly hydrating and skin barrier friendly. This can be used morning and night and a little goes a long way. The normal amount I’ve used in the past covered my fave, neck, chest and back so I’ve been able to use less by using this product as well. It doesn’t strip the skin and packs a gorgeous punch of antioxidants and hydration while cleansing. Perfection. ♻️ You can also choose carbon offset shipping for $1 more when ordering from them and the products come in a 100% recyclable carton with no excess fillers.
