Natural deodorant vs. Antiperspirant
First, follow me for more content like this 😘💖. So I’ve been seeing this natural deodorant every time I went into CVS and I was always telling myself that I’m as going to by it. So I finally picked up the Native natural deodorant in the scent vanilla coconut. Ok so a little back story, I’ve been using Secret out last sweat and order antiperspirant and i loved. Never had any issues with it. I’ve been using it since i was in high school. I feel like Ive always sweat a lot and very frequently. Fast forward to now. The Native deodorant is all natural, meaning it’s formulated with all natural ingredients like: Shea butter, glucose, coconut oil, tapioca starch, probiotics, etc. Its also aluminum free and vegan. Sounds good right? WRONG. I literally hate native and I don’t hate a lot of things. Native claims “odor protection”, they lied. I would put this on in the morning and by the end of the day I smelled terrible. When I would put it on at night i would wake up smelling terrible (because I sweat when i sleep). Be in mind that I’ve been using this deodorant for over a month. The only thing about native that I like is that I smells great, however, it doesn’t make me smell fresh all day. I’ll have a few hours before i start to smell. Imagine me using this in the summer🤮. For me, Native was the same as not wearing deodorant at all😅. Im 100% going back to my Secret outlast antiperspirant. I love it. I feel fresh all day. I could sweat and I would still smell fresh. I love the gel one, I love how it dries invisible. In my opinion, native is entirely too expensive ($12) to not have me smell and feeling fresh all day. I will not be buying this deodorant again. I truly wanted to love Native, but I guess it wasn’t in the stars NATIVE - Coconut & Vanilla #Secret - Outlast Invisible Solid Deodorant[products]#[FourStars] #Secret - Outlast Clear Gel Deodorant[products]#[FiveStars]

First, follow me for more content like this 😘💖. I’ve been eyeing this toner for a while now so I finally caved in and bought it. The Deep Sweep BHA toner is formulated with BHA to exfoliate and clean pores, Moringa seed extract and moringa water that helps to purify and refresh skin, papaya enzyme which helps gently exfoliate, and chlorella which is rich in antioxidants. This toner is also alcohol free. I expected this toner to be a little bit harsh since it has BHA in it but it’s extremely gentle. I experienced no irritation what so ever and I’ve using it everyday from the day i got it. I see a change in my pores which I’m very happy about. If you have combination skin, oily, or acne prone this is the toner for you. It also helps minimize shine. My face doesn’t feel stripped at all after using this. I feel extra clean after using this. I love love love this toner and i can say with absolute certainty that i will repurchase it. I hope you guys buy it and love it as much as i do💖😘. First, follow me for more content like this 😘💖 So I never had a hyaluronic acid serum and I really wanted to get one. Hyaluronic acid is very good for locking in hydration. It also occurs naturally in our body. It takes the moisture from the air and draws it into your skin making it hydrated and plump. I decided to pick up the Plum Plump Hyaluronic Serum from Glow Recipe. It is formulated with plum, hyaluronic acid (5 weights), vegan collagen, silk protein and vitamin B. It has a water gel texture. The packaging is super cute. It’s extremely lightweight but it gives you intense hydration. When I’m layering my serums, i put this one on last to make sure that I’m locking everything in. Overall, I think it does what a HA serum is supposed to do. I actually really like it and i feel hydrated and look plump and supple all day. However $42 is a bit step for me when i know good molecules has one for $6. Will i buy it again? No. But i do really like it and think you should pick it up if you want to splurge on yourself. I can’t wait to try other HA serums GLOW RECIPE - Plum Plump Hyaluronic Acid Serum

First, follow me for more content like this 😘💖 First post of the new year🥳🥳. This new Farmacy cleanser is soap free, oil free and it helps balance you pH. The Whipped Greens cleanser is formulated with moringa seed extract (purify the skin), papaya enzyme (exfoliates to clean pores), green clay (absorb surface oil and remove build up) and sodium PCA (maintain hydration). I’ve seen a lot of people describe the texture as sherbet like and I think that fits to a T. I’ve been using this cleanser for a few weeks now and I’ve really seen a change in my pores. My face feels hydrated and so soft when I’m done. This has quickly become one of my favorite cleansers. I don’t think any cleanser has really made a difference in my pores the way this one did. This little baby right here is a gem if you have clogged pores. After washing this off you would think you just moisturized you face, that’s how hydrated you feel. This paired with their BHA toner makes them the ultimate duo. I think you guys should try this. Recommend for combo and oily skin types. Why I Made This IMPORTANT Change✨✨
I have decided to make the switch towards credo beauty. I purchased an entirely new routine and threw out over 10 products in my cabinet that do not fit in this category or had bad ingredients. My hormonal acne has cleared tremendously and I’ve also notice a change in my skin health overall. What is credo beauty? Credo beauty is focused on brands that are “clean”. While this word might not be really trustworthy in the skincare community, it’s very achievable. Credo beauty, focuses on the dirty list that has over 2,000 ingredients that are deemed harmful or hazardous to skin. They have a website dedicated to products and brands (credo beauty.com) The Dirty List? This list focuses on: cancer hormone disrupters allergies toxic to environment toxic to human body ✨I will be going in detail on my next post about the ingredients and based research on why to avoid them. Some brands I have switched to so far: Indie Lee Peach & Lily* (not listed in credo but clean) Upcircle Herbivore Kinship Cocokind (not listed but clean) Follain Grown Alchemist Weleda Acure Basd Body Care I will be posting also the exact products and what I’ve seen results in. While these products are mostly more expensive, they target more in single products so I don’t have to purchase as much. (First pic is in makeup second is no filtered look at my skin two weeks into my new routine) ✨ Have you thought about clean or credo beauty?
Shave Your Face @ Home With Me (tutorial✨)
Shaving your face is not the same as having it professionally dermaplaning. When getting your face professionally dermaplaned, a licensed esthetician will use a medical grade scalpel to exfoliate your face. I find that shaving you face at home is far more cost effective. Dermaplaning can start off at $150 and range upwards anywhere (depending where you live). Benefits of shaving your face (home style “dermaplaning”): Exfoliation Removes Service Debris Better absorption of makeup & skincare products Diminishes Fine lines and wrinkles Helps Appearance of hyperpigmentation YOUR FACIAL HAIRS WILL NOT GROW BACK THICKER! I promise you! Vellus Hairs (tiny hairs on your face), will not grow back thicker when shaving your face with a razor. That only tends to happen during a wax, because the hairs are being forced from the follicles (roots). My Routine: I am currently calming down from a breakout from my hormones and eating ice cream while in my period 👎🏽 I do this routine once a month: 1. Cleanse: KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser 2. Tone: puremay - Soft Serum Toner 3. Oil Prep: Cliganic - 100% Rosehip Oil A lot of people say to use on dry skin, but since my skin is kind of sensitive/dry around my cheeks.. I prefer to use this oil. Also shaving on dry skin can cause irritation and microtears 5. Shave: Schick - Silk Touch-Up Facial Razor I prefer these over rink because of the length and sharpness. ALWAYS USE A NEW RAZOR EACH TIME! 6. Cleanse Again: KORRES - Greek Yoghurt Foaming Cream Cleanser 7. Tone: KORRES - H2Rose Hydrating Face Mist 8. Hydrate/Correct: The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA This has hyaluronic acid in it and my HG for hyperpigmentation Alpha Arbutin. APPLY TO DAMP SKIN 9 Treat: PACIfICA - Clean Shot Mushrooms & Caffeine 7% Solution Great for irritation/inflammation. This is the game changer when shaving your face to avoid irritation! 10. Eyes: PACIfICA - Vegan Collagen Recovery Eye Cream Amazing for replacing moisture! 11. Moisturize: PEACH & LILY - Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream Amazing moisturizer that didn’t irritate my skin. *** I later applied sunscreen after my skin was calmed down***

Shaving My Face Has Been Amazing!! 🪒🪒🪒
I got a dermaplaning facial about a month ago and I feel in love. I don't know why I haven't been shaving my face all this time. I have seen it before but it never interested me until my esthetician offered it. I figured why not and it's been the best decision ever. I see my estitician every month and before my last hydrating facial I decided to shave my face myself. I ordered these epielle - Dorco Tinkle Eyebrow Razor Trimmer Shaver TINKLE razors off Amazon 2 packs 6 razors for $4.50!!! I plan on using a new razor everytime I shave my face so this is a 6 month supply!!!! I started the process by washing my face with Krave - Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser and then applied my BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Balancing Oil for a slip while shaving. I ran out the door for my facial right after shaving my face and came home with amazing smooth bright skin. The next morning my skin was even brighter!!! I plan on doing this only once a month before my facial and using a new razor every time. I'm going to list some of the benefits of shaving your face down below ⬇️⬇️⬇️ 🪒 The obvious...quick and easy hair removal. No your hair won't grow back thicker and/or darker. 🪒 Smoother application of makeup and even easier to blend!!! I even feel like I use less product now!! 🪒 Exfoliation!!! Removing dead skin cells makes it harder for dead skin to build up over time, so less likely for breakouts. 🪒 Your skincare products can work better. The removal of dead skin cells can allow your skincare products to seep deeper.. The better the products work the less you have to use, saving you money 💰💰💰overtime. Do you shave your face?? What products do you use?? Will you start?? Comment below!! Xoxo ***There is a Stay In Place order here in California so I'll have to do my own home facial but I plan on doing it in a month from my last professional facial.

Common Winter Skincare Mistakes! ❄️
Winter is here! ❄️ Since the weather is changing, should my skincare too? Here are common mistakes you could be making: 1. YOU’RE SKIMPING ON SUNSCREEN! 🧴 according to the Skin Cancer Foundation UVB rays are not as strong in the winter, however snow and ice reflect UVB rays and increases the amount of UVB exposure UVA rays are still just as present, so to avoid risk of skin cancer as well as photo aging WEAR SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY - try to reapply every 2 hours (EDIT: even while indoors it is strongly recommend! 10am - 4pm are when the rays are strongest) 2. YOU’RE NOT MOISTURIZING PROPERLY 💦 Colder weather results in less moisture in the air which means more transepidermal water loss (the process in which our skin loses water through the skin) Indoor heating can also cause more dryness indoors which contributes to transepidermal water loss How can you avoid transepidermal water loss? 🤔 Just moisturize more often - who said you can’t touch up on moisturizer throughout the day? (this can be an SPF lotion as well) Switch to a thicker moisturizer - You want a product that will seal in all that moisture of your skincare products Use and occlusive - occlusives will seal in moisture (but it WILL NOT moisturize) Some examples of this are facial oils and petroleum products such as Vaseline, CeraVe Healing Ointment, and Aquaphor PRODUCTS MENTIONED: dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ Amazing lightweight chemical sunscreen and works well for oily skin as well. Great price point as well. (NOTE: this does contain fragrance) Neutrogena - Sensitive Skin Face Liquid Sunscreen SPF 50 Surprising mineral drugstore sunscreen 😳 Super lightweight, and leaves a slightest grey cast on my dark skin. Most likely leaves little to no white cast on lighter skin. cocokind - Matcha Face Moisturizer **PR Fabulous moisturizer! Lightweight enough for my oily areas, yet moisturizing enough for dry areas. You only need a little and it’s great for the winter. Do you have any winter ❄️ skincare tips? Let me know in the comments section 🤍

Down there care .. 👙 (Personal Story)✨
Y’all know I’m all about body care This is a personal embarrassing story Ok, Honest Story Time: Okay between 2016-2018 I suffered from reoccurring BV (bacterial vaginosis). As embarrassing as it was I look back on it and am thankful cause it helped to focus more on body care, my mind, and school. Did you know BV can be from depression? Your gut is a lifeline for your body that controls a lot and is connected to a lot. I tried everything, flagyl, metronidazole, vag steams (pretty sure that’s how I got preggers) but they were only temporary. I was fine my entire pregnancy and before (late mid-late 2019) now I find myself getting used to postpartum and other things I have the perfect prevention. (If you feel you already have it I suggest going to a dr then trying this method). 🚨 LOVE WELLNESS - The Killer Boric acid is your friend. These gel capsules are a GODSEND! I use mines after my period and when I start to feel off. Even when my depression gets bad because I’m pretty sure that what triggers mines. The directions say to use up to 7 days a week, but I only need 1-3 days. Just insert at night and voila instant relief. I got this from Ulta for $20 (it’s currently on sale for $14.99) #SaltXO - Femme Rejuve Oil[products]#[FiveStars] If you suffer from irritation, or yeast infections.. this is my go to. This is even great for coitus. I use this after I’m done with my treatment or even when I feel irritation from my wax. It’s amazing! Her products sell so fast but I always manage to get one item! I’ve had this for 2 months and since I don’t use it as much I have plenty! This is on her website only (Saltxo) for $20 Do not be embarrassed or scared to talk about your vag ladies. I find peace in knowing and accepting issues and then conquering them.

Shortcut to Smoother, Brighter Skin
This is a glycolic + lactic acid resurfacing peel that works overnight to exfoliate your skin. It also contains: Vitamin A (retinyl palmitate Rosehip seed oil Vitamin E It smooths and brightens your skin without making your skin dry or flaky. It’s extremely gentle! Gentle enough to use multiple times a week. ✨ This product is great for dullness and anti-aging. I’ve been using is 2-3 x a week and haven’t noticed any irritation at all. I DO notice waking up with my skin looking refreshed and brighter, though. I find this peel on the hydrating side as well. It absorbs into the skin like a lotion (no sticky feeling). I sometimes don’t apply a moisturizer before or after. However, if your skin is on the dryer side you can certainly use a moisturizer with it. If you’re looking for a more noticeable peel, this product isn’t for you. As I said above, you won’t see your skin flake with this. The packaging doesn’t list the % of the lactic acid or the glycolic acid. VERSED - THE SHORTCUT Overnight Facial Peel I still enjoy this product even if it’s more hydrating and less exfoliating. I do see my skin looking brighter after use and it feeling noticeably smoother. Note: this product is vegan, non-toxic, non-irritating, fragrance-free, and sulfate-free.
