How I Cleared My Acne in 3 MONTHS!!!
I‘ve struggled with cystic hormonal acne for years, but when I was diagnosed with breast cancer this summer, I didn’t imagine I’d experience the worst breakout of my 27 years of life... I was so overwhelmed and stressed, that I honestly forgot all about my skincare until it looked like this! And just like breast cancer, cystic acne hurts physically and mentally, but I had to regain control. I couldn’t control what was happening to me, but I could refocus, change my perspective, and restart my skincare routine 😅 Then I was gifted this medically personalized product to try and this is was my three month progress! 👏🏼✨ It’s different for everyone, but I noticed a difference in my skin after 4 weeks of consistent use. I’d say, it’s definitely worth a try, so I’ll leave a link to a 1-month trial for $4.95! http://curolo.gy/RebeccaSantos (No, I don’t get commission or any form of payment for this post or if you use my link.) Tips to Get the Most of Curology 🔥 🌟
Thanks for my goodies @curology! So happy to be a part of the #Curologyambassador family! 💗 Curology doesn’t work 100% of the time for everyone. As you know, skin issues are much more than skin deep. If you have a hormonal imbalance, topicals aren’t going to be the best for you. But they can still help with texture and hyperpigmentation. My tip: Many users can tolerate Curology every night. BUT if you’re new to any of its ingredients (like tretinoin), you might want to start slow. So you might find one to begin once a week for two weeks. Then, twice a week. Move up to three times a week. And then try it 4-5 times a week. First two week: Use twice a week (M/F) Third-four week: Use three times a week (M/W/F) After first month: Use four or five times a week (M/W/F/S) HOWEVER, this timeline only works if your skin is tolerating it. How do you know it is? We’ll make sure you DO NOT have any of these: Sudden dryness Redness Irritation Even if you can tolerate 4-5 times a week, I recommend you give your skin a day or two to relax and use those days for masks and moisturizers instead. 🌟 PD: I’m linking to my Curology page (I don’t get any commissions) for anyone who wants to try two months for FREE! #curologyambassador

Empty! Why I quit Curology
Long story short, I used Curology for over a year and recently switched to Apostrophe. While my Curology provider was great at responding to me and adjusting my formula, in the end it seemed like my hormonal acne needed oral meds in additional to topical ones. Apostrophe offers a wider range of long-term oral meds, as well as topicals, and that’s the reason I switched. The topical is pricier than Curology’s ($30/month as opposed to $20); however, they were more willing to give me a higher percentage of tret right off the bat than Curology was. The oral meds are reasonably priced, in my opinion, given all the time and hassle I saved by doing a remote visit instead of having to go to an in-person doctor. I started Apostrophe about five weeks ago, and I’ve been switching back and forth between their formula and the Curology until I ran out of Curology. I would love to hear from others who’ve tried one or both of these telederm services!
Not for everyone- fantastic for me
This Curology before & after is me just 3 months apart. The formula, moisturizer, and cleanser absolutely changed my skin. I started this & started taking Spironolactone for my hormonal-cystic acne. 1 month in I was massively seeing positive results. It’s been about 8 months using this now & results have lasted- just occasional summer breakouts right now from the heat 😅 May not work for everyone, but worked some magic on me getting my skin under control & on a solid routine.
Curology is the HG of HGs
Let me go ahead & join the chorus of folx singing Curology’s praises because LOOK AT THIS!!! Scroll to see my before, there is 1.5 months in between these photos & it may not look like much to y’all but i have never ever had a face with 0 breakouts at any given time. Right now i have no active breakouts & I haven’t had one pop up at all for a lil over a month (knock on wood). My adjustment to the formula was actually pretty easy, I had a bit of purging on my forehead for about a week but nothing major which is another win! Curology - Curology formula My current prescription: Tretinoin 0.009% Clindamycin 1% Azelaic Acid 9% Now I’m looking for recs for a vitamin C serum that can help with my scarring & balance out my skin tone! If you got some good ideas lmk 🥰 #CherieCreator #Curology
Dried out skin from too much acne cream?
Every once in a while ill use too much acne cream and end up with stiff, dry, flaky skin. This happens to me when i apply my DIFFERIN - DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel too much to my skin. When this happens, I change my skincare routine to “basic”. No acne treatment, no added serums, and no makeup. I do this until my skin is back to normal. POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Dry Skin Cream SAVES MY FACE!! It is a very thick, creamy product and works wonders. Only one application and my face is back to normal. You can find this at walmart, although I recommend getting the travel size because, the normal size is pretty big and a little goes a long way with this product.
DIFFERIN-DIFFERIN Acne Treatment Gel
This product SAVED MY SKIN!
I struggled with inflamed, hormonal acne. since it was since it was hormonal acne it was harder to treat. I have a make up account on Instagram @makeupby.emilly and I was on my explore page Trying to find new makeup accounts when I came across Curoligy. like any other ad I brushed it off. but every single day it popped up. for the whole month of March. so on my birthday April 7th I got five dollars and told my mom, “ hey mom, I see ads for this company all the time. The before and after pictures of clients are perfect. like look at this girl skin. it’s free but you need to pay $4.95 Worth of shipping. after the one-month trial, if you like it they will take out $60 from your credit card and send you a full-size product. and if the product does not work for your skin you can call and it will cancel the subscription. So can I buy it?” she said okay. I filled out the two minute quiz. it only took two minutes because I was really paying attention to my answers to the questions. it came on April 16. now it is July 27. it has been a little over two months and my skin is not clear but I do see a really really big difference. if you look at the first picture that’s a before and after of 2 months. Curoligy said that I would see a difference in eight weeks (2 months) and I do. from pictures 4-9 are pictures I took four minutes ago. I really think this product of my skin. I will keep you updated. for everyone who sees the Curoligy ads and suffer from acne I say you should give it a try.Curology - The Cleanser Curology - Curology formula Curology - The Moisturizer
Curology my Savior!
So for the past couple of months I’ve been struggling with getting my skin clear...again. After dealing with what people have told me, rosacea, I started paying attention to the ingredients of my skin care products more. They were all alcohol-free yet it’s not doing its job enough to clear out my rosacea. I had cute little pimples popping here and there on my face and I would cry days over it. I couldn’t handle it!!! Until finally, I gave in to Curology. I tried its trial set and wow after a week the redness of my cheeks started to fade away!! I was so happy! The second week it was absolutely gone! I gave in, I subscribed to Curology and ever since then my skin has always been great. I’ve been using Curology for almost 2 months now and my skin has never been better. Don’t worry about if you have to drop the current skin care products because you STILL CAN USE them! Simply follow the instructions provided by Curology in order to slowly ease your way into using your favorite products + Curology! I currently am using the products and formula prescribed by my personal provider from Curology + the Innisfree Olive Real Skin care set + Boscia Rosewater mist witch hazel. Combine all of these equals a dewy face and my skin never looks stressed anymore. It’s as healthy as it can be :) Review on products: Moisturizer- I have the rich moisturizer and it does not have a sent at all. It does leave some sort of sticky feeling to the skin but a couple of minutes later your skin feels great and healthy. Cleanser- the cleanser is smooth and a bit foamy once you lather it with water. There is no scent too! I can probably compare this to Cerave’s hydrating cleanser. They’re quite similar so that could possibly be a dupe for Curology’s cleanser. Formula- everyone’s formula is different. Mine contains: () 2% of Azelaic Acid which unclogs pores, acne, and inflammation () 1% of Clindamycin which puts out breakouts () 0.25% Zinc Pyrithione which fights acne-causing fungus and bacteria —all of these are explained by your personal physician assistant-certified provider. This formula works on me!! The rosacea is gone AND the minor break outs. THANK YOU! The last three pictures are my skin now after 2 months of my own customized formula. It’s the real deal, I’m not disappointed. If you’re still having trouble with your skin, I personally recommend trying Curology. They have a free trial first, so do not get too nervous that you would have to pay right away. They also have you take a survey that focuses on the things you want to fix on your skin before you get started on your treatment plan. It’s all easy and understandable. You’re one click away, get your glow on girl! Your skin journey, I’m here for it✨ Curology - The Moisturizer Curology - Curology formula Curology - The Cleanser
