2021 Fashion Week Inspired Makeup - Hermès
This look is inspired by models for Hermes for 2021 spring/summer fashion week. This look focuses on super dewy skin and a bold, red lip as the center of attention. This look was really easy to recreate and something I would actually rock IRL (except for the lack of mascara because mascara is bae). I’ve included the inspo photo from Allure. To add a glowy base to my complexion, I used Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid

Zoom Meeting Look!
As one of the only women in a lot of my workplace meetings, I always want to make sure I look very presentable and professional (from the waist up 🤣) in addition to having my materials prepared. It’s just something that helps me feel like I’m 100% on my game! This is a similar look I would do for if and when work is ever normal and I had an important meeting as well. Your appearance is the way you present yourself to the world, and doing my makeup nicely is the way I like to be presented, though it is by no means necessary to be a professional woman! Makeup is just my way to be creative with my appearance. It’s fun! tarte - Amazonian Clay BB Tinted Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 20 NARS - Radiant Creamy Concealer tarte - Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter Too Faced - White Peach Eye Shadow Palette SEPHORA COLLECTION - Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner NARS - Climax Mascara SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick tarte - Sea H2O Lip Gloss
My (tiny) lip collection put to the TEST!
These are the lip stains and paints that I currently own. My collection is small because I don’t have a ton of opportunities to wear it being home all the time. 😆 I will review each from left to right. 1. SEPHORA COLLECTION - Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick color-#96. Price-14$ I really like this one. It is a nice matte red lip stain. It does not have 100% staying power with eating and drinking, and it does transfer onto fabric very little even after setting. It’s very creamy, has a very subtle sweet smell and is not super drying to the lips. Also I thinks it’s the perfect red shade.🤗 2.LIQUE - Long-Lasting Metallic Liquid Lip color- REBEL Price-9.60$ This one is super vibrant and definitely lives up to its name of a metallic lip paint. Has strong staying power and almost zero transfer. It is a little drying and cracked looking once set. But you can apply a clear gloss for moisture, that can counter the staying power though...😕 3. OFRA - Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick Color- Unzipped. Price- $20 Love this color but since it is just a liquid lipstick it will smudge and transfer. You can however set with translucent powder for an even more matte finish, or even setting spray to help it stay put. Super creamy , stays creamy and smells like coconut 🥥 to me! ☺️ 4. tarte - Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint Color- Front Row Price-$20 Also love this color, has serious staying power and no transfer. Very creamy to apply. Dries quickly, does look a little cracky upon setting but is not as drying as the metallic lip paint. 5. Hola NEON - Velvet Liquid Lipstick Color- DF Price $17 One of my favs despite the smell! It smells like pleather until it sets.... but it’s a beautiful mauve pink tone. Dries with a matte finish, has strong staying power, no transfer, and is less cracky than the Tarte lip paint. 6. MAYBELLINE - Color Sensational Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick Color- Corrupt Cranberry Price- $6.99 Not my favorite product. Smudges easy, doesn’t even look as VICID as it does in the tube. I find it super runny for a lipstick.... as it wears through the day it just looks like I just got done making out it’s just sooo weak I feel. The only time it works is to blot off most of the color after application for a “stained” look...
Futuredew more like futuregrease 🥴🌿
This is my second bottle of this product because I purchased two when I was trying it out. Glossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid It is a great product however not really for its intended purpose........😙 Instead of giving a glow I would definitely say it gives me more of a grease appearance. It works great as an oil that nourishes though, it has Sweet Almond Oil and Jojoba as well as many others! I put this on before bed and I feel I have seen a difference in my red skin calming down just a bit. It has fragrance that smells like herbs though (and essential oils) so non-fragrance people beware !!!! ❌ 🤠 I would also say that if you wait a few hours for this to dry or just apply way less than the two pumps Glossier recommends, it gives more of the effect it intended. I would still not apply to your nose if you have an oily nose because whooooo man when I waited a few hours, the rest of my skin had more of a glowy look but my nose still was very greasy. Uwu. Overall I would say it’s a great oil serum and if you wait a few hours or maybe a little more it will give you more of the glowy effect. I hope everyone has a nice day!
Glossier Worth The Hype?💫
So as you may know, Glossier is a VERY popular brand but mostly for its aesthetics. But here we are reviewing more than the aesthetics. Let’s talk about what products are worth the hype🙂. Glossier. - The Skincare Edit The skincare.... So they have a 𝗷𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿 and what from i heard off, its JUST a normal cleanser, nothing special. Honestly it’s very overpriced for a small normal cleanser. 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗿: Just a normal moisturizer too🙂. Very soft. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺𝘀: Glossier. - The Super PackGlossiers serums are actually not as mad as I thought, still pricey but not as bad. Many people don’t see a change while using them and others do so it always depends but if you have the money, buying these hopefully will not be a let down. Glossier. - Mask Duo𝗠𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀: nothing special, makes your face soft🌸 𝙉𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙈𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙪𝙥: Glossier. - Cloud Paint DuoGlossier. - Lash Slick MascaraThis product is TOTALLY worth it. Really pigmented and very good for your makeup🥰. Also the mascara is a normal good mascara! Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter ConcentrateGlossier. - Futuredew Oil Serum Hybrid𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝘁. Lastly the 𝗹𝗶𝗽𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 are good and many have said 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲Glossier. - Haloscope Dew Effect Highlighter is not good cause it barley gives anything. What’s your experience with glossier? The BEST concealer I have ever used!
Here we go with my first makeup review! So I have used many concealers in the past, such as Tarte Shape Tape, Juvia’s Place, and even the e.l.f 16 hour camo concealer. I never felt like I was getting the proper coverage or the right concealer for my skin type. However, the e.l.f hydrating camo concealer has COMPLETELY changed the game for me. I have combination skin with an oily tzone and very visible pores on my cheeks and nose. I also have some under eye circles (thankfully has been getting much better with my current eye creams) as well some very tiny fine lines around my lash line. So with that being said, here are my thoughts on the hydrating camo concealer Positives COVERAGE. Oh my gosh does this have amazing coverage. It completely covered my under eye circles and works great at covering up blemishes. it does not settle into any of my fine lines! the finish is absolutely beautiful. My skin still has that natural glow to it and I can even use it on my oily areas without it breaking up or looking excessively oily. it lasts. It lasts all day! This is one of the only products i have used that i can genuinely say lasts the whole day without any touch ups. it’s super blendable and works amazing with all of my other products that are applied before and after. it also makes a great eyeshadow primer. The color sticks to it really well and because the product is so long lasting, i never have to worry about the pigment not staying. hello price point! I believe it’s $6. I would sooo much rather buy this than spend an excessive amount of money on any other concealer. Negatives the smell. Oh gosh the smell. It’s very powerful and for people who have sensitivity to smells, it won’t be easy to apply but the smell doesn’t linger after it is blended in. i’m not a huge fan of how big the doe foot is. Because the product has great coverage, i don’t typically want to use a lot and the doe foot does make it a little hard to use a small amount of product i do think the shade range needs to be expanded. I do not see very many options for people with dark skin tones and that is sooooo important for brands to be inclusive. Overall thoughts This is for sure my holy grail of concealers. My negatives are a little nitpicky considering how amazing this product really is (except for the shade range part. That is definitely not nitpicky). But I firmly believe it’s important to note things that could be negatives for other people as well as negatives I experience for myself. I absolutely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new concealer! Definitely a 5/5 rating even with the minor negatives. As always, remember to patch test your products and just because a product may not work for someone else, doesn’t mean it won’t work for you! Hope you enjoyed this review! ~Kristina
Fav light coverage
The ILIA - Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 is the only foundation I HAD to run out and pick up immediately after trying one sample. The formula is SO lightweight it feels like nothing in the skin. It blends in effortlessly with my fingers to give light coverage. I just add a little concealer where I want more coverage. It doesn’t emphasize my texture or dry areas whatsoever and looks so natural. Plus it’s SPF 40 which I love. I do set this but it’s no where near as dewy or oily as I expected it to be (it’s more natural satin) and it wears beautifully throughout the day. For me it’s the perfect quick Summer option. Definitely worth the price tag in my opinion. The only reason it only gets 4/5 stars is because they need to expand their shade range!
Updated Foundation Collection 🌟
Yes I have a problem lol I just love trying new face formulas. My favorite here is still the Touch In Sol Advanced Real Moisture Foundation in shade 21. It’s the most skin-like of all of them so far and has great durability. It’s also one of the cheaper ones at only $18 on amazon 😀 I do like the way the ILIA serum lays down, but my god does it have a strong paint smell 😑 once it goes away it’s fine, but the first few minutes are rather rough as I’m sensitive to bad smells. Ah, the things we do for beauty 🤷♀️ Happy Sunday! 🍁 Don’t forget to hydrate and check your WiFi 😘

Easy zoom makeup routine 📽📽
This is always my go-to makeup routine, but I find that it has been looking amazing on my Zoom school calls! I am a speech therapy student, so for my teletherapy sessions with kids I like to keep my makeup super simple and not distracting. For Zoom calls, I usually skip the primer and save that for when I am outside or spending long hours outside the home. I apply my Glossier. - Perfecting Skin Tint all over my face with a damp beauty blender. I really love how the sponge blends this product. Then, I heat up my eyelash curler with a lighter to help my lashes hold the curl. For my Zoom days, I just apply the L'ORÉAL - Telescopic Waterproof Mascara and L'ORÉAL - Voluminous Carbon Black Waterproof Mascara in order to lengthen my lashes and really just make my eyes pop. I also use ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Clear Brow Gel to brush my brows up and really open up and frame my face. Finally, I either just apply my trusty BURT’S BEES - Nourishing Mango Butter Lip Balm Tube or my Kosas - Kosasport Lipfuel if I’m wanting a little extra color, and I am good to go! Speech therapy involves a lot of modeling with your mouth, so I find that any lipstick or lip gloss is just kind of goopy and potentially distracting. I also skip out on highlighter, because I find that in the natural lighting I use, it is just a little too sparkly on camera! This look is all about not distracting the kids in my session. #CheriePartner

Makeup Must-Haves for Glowy Summer Skin✨
I think we can all agree that in the summer we love a glowy, no-makeup-makeup-look right?! Or at least that’s what I’ve been going for lately! These are the products I’ve been reaching for the most to achieve that look👇🏻 • PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Murumuru Butter Bronzer - it smells soooo good and gives a natural glowy finish to the skin (no chunky glitter). This one is super affordable (drugstore) and wears like it’s much more expensive! • Haleys Beauty RE:PLAY Foundation + Contour Sticks (I have shades 2.15 + 4.25) - these are sooo good! They are creamy, blendable, and buildable. I use them as if I were contouring + highlighting my face and the look I get in the end is so beautiful and natural. I am also OBSESSED with their RE:INVENT BB Drops - they are a must have when it comes to glowy summer skin also! • Haleys Beauty RE:COVER Pressed Powder (I have shade 2.25) - this is a full-coverage powder foundation and it does an amazing job at covering my redness and blemishes without looking cakey or powdery. I love to use this with just a bit of concealer under my eyes and then this all over the face - it has such a beautiful finish. • ILIA - Limitless Lash Mascara - this quickly became a favourite of mine thanks to its double-sided brush + super black formula. I love that this is a clean alternative and it wears really well. The brush as one side where the bristles are super close together so it’s perfect to get every little lash as well as your bottom lashes; then the other side is perfect for building some volume! • fresh - Sugar Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 - I have a few shades of this one but my favourite is the Honey. It’s that “my lips but better” shade and I find it to be the perfect combo of colour + treatment. I love using a tinted lip balm rather than a gloss or lipstick when I’m going for a natural look and these are perfect for that. That’s it that’s all, hope you enjoyed reading about some of my current summer must have makeup products!🤗

Animal Crossing inspired makeup? YES. 🍃
ACNH has taken over my life, it was only a matter of time until it started ruling EVERYTHING I do, including my makeup 🥴 I’ve been hustling every day trying to earn enough bells to pay my bridges, home loans and keeping my island clean so I can have happy villagers. I even joined an all-girls group chat recently! And this week we decided to do villager-inspired makeup based on whatever villager we picked. I picked Francine, of course. It was the obvious choice, but how did I do? ☺️ I haven’t done makeup like this in a while and it was so fun to get to it again. I wanted to make a look based on what Francine is already wearing since it looks like a lovely, wearable look and I think I did pretty well! 😌 considering my skills aren’t that advanced lol. I left a slide with the products I used, I’ve reviewed a few of these but let me know if you’d like to know my thoughts on something! These are all tried and true products I consider to be 5 ⭐️s!
MORPHE-35I Icy Fantasy Artistry Palette
Spring inspired subtle eye look 🌿
Sometimes I like to play with makeup and see what I can create. I’m somewhat new to eyeshadow and playing with color. Bold bright colors are not something I’m comfortable with so I wanted to experiment with them. I’d say I’m getting a little bit better, and will continue to do fun looks. I used a little bit of the glossier concealer to hide my red/veiny under eyes, and used a sponge to blend it out. Glossier. - Stretch Concealer I got my violet voss essentials palette and used the shade “emerald” a glittery deep green color as eyeliner on my top lash. I’m glad this palette doesn’t have too much fall out. The color is pretty pigmented as you can see. Violet Voss - Essentials Eye Shadow Palette I wanted to draw a curved line above my crease so I used my essence eyeliner pen in “young & free” a pastel yellow. I also used this to place a couple lines below my bottom lash line. It’s a really pretty color and easy to use. The tip is thin, sometimes you gotta apply a bit of pressure but it’s no big deal. Super affordable too. essence - essence Eyeliner Pen I used the it cosmetics brow powder in universal taupe. I used a really light hand cause I want the natural brow look. it Cosmetics - Brow Power Micro Universal Defining Eyebrow Pencil For lashes I used the tarte lights camera lashes mascara. I really like this. It doesn’t leave my lashes clumpy and the brush is nice. tarte - Sugar Rush Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara Last but not least for lips I used the morphe x Maddie ziegler lip gloss in “peach pucker” a very slightly peachy clear gloss and on top I put a tiny bit of glossier balm dot com in cherry to give my lips a little more tint. MORPHE - Morphe X Maddie Ziegler Peach That Pops Lip & Cheek Duo Glossier. - Balm Dotcom
glossierplay Starting with my favorite of the bunch, Niteshine. I ordered the highlight concentrate in the shade “pale pearl”, which is a pale champagne and the lightest of the four. I adore the doe-foot applicator for precise application - it’s the perfect delivery system. The formula itself is stunning! It adds a gorgeous glow to the skin with a bit of microfine shimmer. Glossier Play’s Vinylic Lip is another standout product for me. I picked the shade “disco”, a rosy terracotta. It goes on smoothly with a click pen applicator. The color can be built up from a subtle hint of pigment to a more opaque lip. The finish isn’t as high shine as I expected, which is part of the reason I love it. It delivers a beautiful wash of color with just enough shine, but doesn’t leave the sticky finish that causes your hair to get stuck to your lips. I have mixed feelings about the Colorslide eye pencil. First, I love the color selection. I ordered the warm bronze shade, “pretty penny”. While I did find that it glides on smoothly, it’s not quite as effortless an application as other gel pencils I own. After a few hours, the color wasn’t as vibrant as it was on application. Lastly, the Glitter Gelèe. I’ve heard that each of the shades have different amounts of glitter & pigment, so I can only speak for Bijoux Bijoux. I was the least excited about this one, as I don’t often wear glitter in my looks. It is, however, super long wearing and didn’t experience any fallout. I did find application tricky in terms of getting the larger particles where I wanted them, as this dries fast.
