💃🏻 Raisin the Bar 💃🏻
💃🏻This polish is the #Sally Hansen - Raisin the Bar[products]#[FiveStars] and it's part of the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Color line. I found this gem for $7.49 at Walmart and it's definitely worth it. The packaging is super nice and sturdy and what I love the most about this line is the large flat brush. With one simple swipe, the whole nail is covered streak free!! Makes the application process so stress relieving and satisfying. 💃🏻The color is a really nice dusty metallic rose. The finish is so nice and shimmery yet still gives off a slightly modest look since it doesn't scream in your face. It's so opaque and high coverage that one coat is definitely enough. Again for testing purposes and consistency, I applied two coats which is just as beautiful as one. The only thing I did not like about it is that it was kinda easy to chip. If you don't apply a top coat be ready to see a chip within a day if you're doing things with your hands. 💃🏻Highly highly recommend this line/color especially for my peeps who struggle with at home manicures! #cheriepartner
Barbie Girl Nails
This nail look screams “I’m a Barbie girl in a Barbie world”. This nail colour is as close to a Barbie pink you can get. It’s very bright vibrant colour, definitely not for the faint-hearted. This look is perfect for days you’re feeling a bit sassy and more in tune with your feminine side. It would go perfectly with your cocktail dress or bottomless brunch with the girls! The varnish that I use to achieve this look is the “Glossfinity” by Max Factor in shade 104 called “Just Cheerful”. This varnish claims that it lasts up to 7 days – for me this varnish lasted me 5 days before it started chipping (though can’t blame them since I’m a very-hands on person). The varnish applies to the nail very easily and the colour is extremely pigmented. Even after just one coat you get a very solid colour with no sheerness to it whatsoever. The brush is also the perfect size for my nails – my nails are quite narrow so I do prefer a narrow brush (though another benefit of a more narrow brush is that you can easy get to all the harder-to-reach areas of your nail for a fuller look). The varnish dries very quickly and leaves a glossy finish – you don’t even really need a top coat if you wanted to keep it simple (unless you want to avoid reapplying on a weekly basis in which case I would advise so). Overall I’m absolutely in love with this colour - the shade just brightens up my day. It’s very pigmented and leaves a lovely glossy finish. I definitely will be exploring the other colours in this range by Max Factor.
Metallics from the morgan taylor Champagne and Moonbeams collection 🥂✨ The polishes shown are Shooting Star (brown metallic), Copper Dream (rose gold metallic), and Gilded in Gold (gold metallic). These all applied well in two coats.
