I absolutely love this moisturizer. Non scented and it has 2 of my top ingredients- salicylic acid and glycerin!! Oo la la. It’s a very thick moisturizer and it feels so good on my skin. I sometimes even use it on my legs it’s such a nice and deep moisturizing feeling! Review- i highly recommend this to anybody with dry or combo skin. If you have oily skin I recommend this brand but for the oily skin type! It has phenomenal ingredients and it has no fragrance and is dermatologist recommended Ingredients- the mixture of salicylic acid helps break down the sebum and dirt in your pores which interacts with the cleanser I use ( wink wink ) and helps minimize my pores along with getting rid of the gunk inside them! Cerave Daily Moisturizing Lotion is the perfect day moisturizer for the person who has sensitive, normal – dry skin. I have always heard great things about the brand Cerave, so when I was in the market for a new moisturizer (about 5 months ago) I decided to try this one because of their claims. Here is a little background on the product: “Developed with dermatologists, CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion has a unique, lightweight formula that provides 24-hour hydration and helps restore the protective skin barrier with three essential ceramides (1,3,6-II). The formula also contains hyaluronic acid to help retain skin’s natural moisture. Key points: • With ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II • Hyaluronic acid to help retain skin's moisture • Oil-free, Non-comedogenic • Fragrance-free • Gentle, non-irritating formula” This product works beautifully on sensitive skin. It has a lightweight/silky texture that easily absorbs into the skin. I love this moisturizer because it has no fragrance and does not make my skin feel overly hydrated. My husband also uses this moisturizer because he has very sensitive/acne prone skin and it works magic for him. I would definitely recommend this product to you if you are looking for a moisturizer because it is a reliable and affordable moisturizer. The cost of this product is $9-$12, depending on where you buy it from. It is 100% worth the price. You can find the Cerave Daliy Moisturizing Lotion at Walmart, Target, CVS, etc. Overall, this product has my stamp of approval and a 5/5 star rating from me.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin

PLEASE HELP!!!!!
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
So i’ve been using the CeraVe Moisturizing Cream as my body lotion and every time i’ve used it, it has broken me out! I bought it because of the CeraVe hype but i don’t want to use it anymore. Almost the same goes for the Daily Moisturizing Lotion. It doesn’t break me out on my face, but i can tell it not helping me solve my acne problem. Please leave some comments below as to what i should do. Let me know of some affordable body lotions that don’t break you out, or just any in general that don’t break you out. And i also would really appreciate it if you leave some recommendations for moisturizers for the face that are for combination to oily skin. I would be very grateful if you leave a comment because i really want to find my holy grail products once and for all. Thank you so much! :)

CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin Love this moisturizer as a body lotion, didn’t work for my face though! It’s supposed to be a very simple, thick unique moisturizer that doesn’t irritate or clog pores. I love this for my body, it’s very hydrating, moisturizing, lasts a long time and is affordable. Actually love that it’s unscented because it doesn’t irritate my skin. I purchased this for my face and it did break me out, but I heard amazing things from other people. I would totally recommend trying and you can always use it as an amazing body lotion. It restores and protects the skin barrier with amazing ingredients!

Holy grails; hands down!
Holy grails; hands down!
CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin CLINIQUE - Pep Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser These two are my absolute holy grails. As a bit of backstory, I have sensitive skin — including but not limited to redness, acne, occasional pesky blackheads as well as sun damage. Due to my redness and acne getting exacerbated by certain products — I wanted to share these two products that have NEVER FAILED to make my skin feel and look soft, clean, fresh, and awake! The CLINIQUE - Pep Start 2-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated and can be used twice per day... I prefer to use it only at night (just because it is exfoliating that I personally don’t want to over-do it...) According to Clinique, “exfoliation is achieved through the natural enzymatic action of papaya extract and the manual action of natural silica and bamboo beads. The base provides a cooling cushion, and foams into a satisfying lather.” Takeaway: leaves your face feeling fresh and clean and is appropriate for all types of skin! CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin is my go-to everyday for a face and body moisturizer. It is known in the beauty community as a noncomedogenic face moisturizer and had been recommended initially by my dermatologist. The ONLY complaint I have is that if you use a little too much OR if you live where it gets humid, it can feel like it’s melting off your face. I haven’t been wearing makeup so much which is how I’ve found this. Alternatively, it sits very well under makeup! Takeaway: a little goes a long way!

I have a confession about these pads..
I have a confession about these pads..
Okay so I bought the NIP+FAB - NIP+FAB Glycolic Fix Daily Cleansing from amazon about a month ago for $12. They are highly praised glycolic acid treatment pads. What is glycolic acid ? It’s an acid that’s apart of the AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) group. It’s the smallest one in this group, so it penetrates the skin much easier. The acid break downs molecules in the skin, so they are removed from the skin to reveal a brighter even complexion. They are a great treatment for comedowns (acne) & blocked pores. These pads do contain witch hazel so if that’s not your thing I would avoid using these on your face. What I use this for... Okay here’s my confession ... I use these pads... on my under butt area & other places on my lower body that is hyper-pigmented. I know it sounds crazy but it WORKS! My under butt area has already evened out about 30% and any small bumps I had in that areas are gone! I follow up with my organic Burt’s bees lotion or if I want extra exfoliation I use my ALPHA SKIN CARE - Revitalizing Body Lotion Remember that not everything works for everyone, but this has worked for me in a matter of a month. (I would post results but I’m sure these Pg13 pictures should be kept to myself)

Why your skin might be breaking out…
Why your skin might be breaking out…
Your skin knows best. If issues arise it’s typically from an off balance in your body. Lots of things can affect the health of your skin (i.e. diet, sleep, environment, hormones etc.). Depending on your skin type, your skin can react to these factors differently. The most common reaction is seeing breakouts or developing a sensitivity. The skin has the ability to heal itself but sometimes it needs a little bit of help but if we help it too much, it freaks out. I would recommend a “skin reset”. A skin reset is when you stop using active ingredients or any treatment in your routine. This allows the body to regenerate the good bacteria on your skin. A skin reset consists of the most basic skincare steps. 1. Gentle cleanser 2.Moisturizer for your skin type 3. SPF!!! SPF is very important everyday but it is extra important when you’re skin isn’t happy because the sun is constantly attacking your skin. If your skin doesn’t clear up after 2 weeks of a skin reset, you should consider the other factors above. Hope this helps!!
