Glitters are a must, but are they better in liquid or solid?
As a huge fan of these sparking glitters on the eyelids, I am always going to these fine shining particles for the final touch of my eye makeup. And today, I am going to review two of the glitters that I like the most among all the others, one liquid and the other solid. Stila Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow I got it in a three-piece kit from Sephora and they are in mini size. And this shade is the one that I am always going for a fresh tone eye look. Being a liquid is super long-lasting, and you can still see them after a long day. And one trick is that sometimes I would use them on my eyelashes and it’s actually easy to do that cause the brush is small and easy to control so that when you blink, other people could see the sparkles on your eyelashes and that’s so special. But you tend to waste it because it would be more natural if you first put it on your hands and then blend it on your eyelid. That is maybe the only con I can find with this product. Kiko Sparking Holiday Metallic Eyeshadow I feel like I can use this little eyeshadow for the rest of my life! I mean, I’ve been using it for more than a year, and it’s like brand-new. So you can see the color is golden, and of course, it would go better with a warm tone eye makeup, which is also my favorite. The glitters are kinda sparse so it’s very natural, but it’s also glowing enough that will add an extra eye-catching shine to your eye makeup. The con of this product, and I guess it’s also common for solid eyeshadow is that it is not so long-lasting. But it won’t get you awkward by falling on your cheeks and stuff. Overall, I would still highly recommend it because its shine is so beautiful and it only costs like three or four dollars, such a steal!

Tom Ford Shadow Extreme X15, Amazing Sparkling!
Tom Ford is absolutely a high end brand . And when it comes to eyeshadow, I used to buy color pop or zoeva. Both of them are my favs. But I always look for a glitter— u now, it must be shining just like stars in the evening. I have never found anything that issue would respond to before this stuff. This eyeshadow looks like a silver shuff box. This unique design drives me to open it—ohh damned! It’s a game changer! The pink color is mixed up with silver sequin . I fall in love with this bad boy! Btw, it’s not a long-lasting eyeshadow. I suggest you use setting spray after makeup.
𝐒𝐞𝐞-𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐰 PRODUCT INFO: Glitter-packed eyeshadow with bold pigment and maximum sparkle that adds super-shimmering dimension to any look, in four limited-edition shades. Get high-impact dazzle with smooth glide and bold color. This sequin-finish eyeshadow in a pot is created with an innovative, demi-pressed process that allows the pigments to apply more vividly and gives the glitter maximum sparkle. MY THOUGHTS: I chose shade Star Dust 100. Does not take much product as it is highly pigmented. Soft and airy texture. Glitter glue is a must as there was a ton of fallout. My eyes itched after using the first time. Will try again to see if it was the shadow or something else and will post an update here. I’m praying it was just a fluke because it’s such a gorgeous shadow. And for $28 a pot, I want to wear it!
Makeup Mood Board – Chanel Illusion d’ Ombre
CHANEL - OMBRE PREMIÈRE Longwear Cream Eyeshadow I first discovered this glittery goodness about 6 years ago, when the range had about 12 shades. I slowly purchased all of them because they were too good not to. They have the perfect amount of glitter and shimmer and a base that blends out in a way that makes it look like you have multiple shadows on. I like to prep my base with a primer + transition shade and apply this with my finger over my lid. I don’t think this color is available anymore, which is a huge bummer, but I will cherish it within my little collection. I highly recommend checking out these shadows if you can! I was inspired by this flower (Hellebore) to create this look since New Moon is a purple-y shade with a green-ish undertone.
