🤦🏻♀️Hyperpigmentation Around The Mouth🙅🏻♀️
You have got great skin. But the one thing that stops you from stepping out naturally without any makeup is the dark skin around your mouth. Is this true? You have tried everything from DIYs to skin lightening creams. But the pigmentation around your mouth has remained your stubborn friend, right Why Is The Skin Around My Mouth Dark? 1. Hyperpigmentation 2. Weather Conditions Sun exposure and darkening of the skin. In very cold weather, if you lick your lips and the area around it too often, it can discolour the skin and make it look darker How Do You Get Rid Of Hyperpigmentation Around The Mouth? 1. Exfoliate If you exfoliate the area around your mouth regularly with a gentle exfoliator, it can remove dead cells and help to lighten the skin. Opt for a chemical exfoliant as it will not scrape the skin which in turn may worsen the condition. 2. OTC Skin-Brightening Creams Skin brightening creams can be effective in reducing the dark area around the mouth. Look for ingredients such as glabridin (a licorice extract), kojic acid, vitamin C, grape seed extract, azelaic acid , arbutin, curcumin or niacinamide, These block the production of tyrosinase which is needed by the skin to make melanin. 3. Acid Peels Your dermatologist may use a salicylic acid or glycolic acid peel to treat the dark skin around your mouth. However, these peels do not offer a permanent solution and the pigmentation can return. These peels penetrate deep into the skin to repair the damaged cells. Post treatment precautions like staying out of the sun, applying sunscreen and protecting the skin can make the effect of the peels last longer 6. Natural Remedies You can also use natural remedies to treat the dark skin around your mouth. Most of these natural ingredients can be found in your kitchen. Unless you have an allergy to any of these, you can try using them to get rid of the pigmented skin. Exfoliate with Papaya Papaya has fruit acids known as alpha-hydroxy acids, which is a chemical exfoliantAHAs are used for dry skin and to anti-age, and works to improve skin by removing the top layers of the skin through weakening the lipids that bond them together, thus removing dull and dead skin cells and revealing healthy skin cells. Soothe Skin and Reduce Spots with Almond Oil The presence of Vitamin E and niacin help with hyperpigmentation and improving skin tone,” she says. Because sweet almond oil is non-comedogenic (meaning it won’t clog your pores) you can add it to your nightly routine as a makeup remover or moisturizer to help protect the skin barrier. Reverse Photo Damage with Tomatoes Tomatoes are naturally rich in lycopene, which has multiple health benefits, including sun protection Brighten with Yogurt breaks down dead skin cells thanks to lactic acid, which is found naturally in dairy products. Using a yogurt with cow’s milk could be effective in calming the skin, since it has lactic acid. Lactic acid is an AHA, which improves discoloration and age spots

💧🤩Hyaluronic Acid for fuller Lips🤩💧
💁🏻♀️If you're a beauty fiend, no doubt hyaluronic acid sounds familiar; it appears in all sorts of moisturizers and serums nowadays. The molecule is derived from sugar, making the chances of an allergic reaction low even for sensitive types, and it can hold up to one thousand times its own weight in water, aka ideal for locking moisture into the skin. Fillers favor it because HA naturally occurs in the body and is slowly broken down over time, so it's much more natural looking and feeling, not to mention far more reversible than old school lip fillers like silicones or fats. 🎯When applied topically on your lips, hyaluronic acid gives the appearance of fuller, plumper lips by hydrating the surface of your lips. Essentially these new lip plumpers work like a lip balm turned up to 11, filling the skin cells in your lips up to the brim with moisture so your lips look their most naturally full and plumped. They also have the potential to yield longer term results than ye olde Lip Venom, though you have to use them consistently to maintain the effects. It's also worth noting that in the same way that serious skin moisturizers can minimize fine lines and wrinkles without increasing the size of your face, these filler alternatives are best suited to making lips look more plush 👄and naturally voluminous, not giving you a major sizing change an injectable will provide! 🤫 I know, I know—you're probably still having flashbacks to the old-school versions that made your lips feel like they were on fire❌. But trust me: The newer (and smarter) formulas of today promise more plump and less pain, so you can get in on the trend without feeling like a swarm of bees attacked your face. Ahead, I rounded up few best lip plumpers of all time, including super-hydrating serums, hella-pigmented glosses, and more.PCA skin - Hyaluronic Acid Lip Booster BUXOM - Full Force Plumping Lipstick TOPIX - Replenix Plumping Lip Treatment SPF 30 skyn ICELAND - Plumping Lip Gels SkinMedica - Ha5 Smooth & Plump Lip System GRANDE COSMETICS - Grandelips Hydrating Lip Plumper Trio BUXOM - Full Force Flirt Mini Plump and Pout Duo DuWop - Lip Venom naturaBissé - Diamond Lip Booster Too Faced - Lip Injection Extreme Lip Plumper (Clear) Fillerina - Lip Plump Grade

☀️☀️We hate Suncream yet we are hopeless without it☀️☀️ UNPROTECTED SUN exposure is the number-one cause of two things most of us would rather avoid: skin cancer and premature aging. And yet, the people who neglect daily sunscreen are swift to offer up justifications, chief among them: “I just don’t like the way it feels” Widespread sunscreen aversion has led many brands to bridge the sunscreen and skin care categories, creating lightweight everyday facial formulas that incorporate antiaging and antioxidant ingredients, boast a more appealing texture (sheer! weightless!), and provide imperfection-blurring technology. But with hundreds to choose from, how do you find one that inspires devotion? My solution: Test 50 top formulas As for my personal issues with sunscreen engagement: I have a dusky complexion and very sensitive skin, ergo, my skin gets pigmentation easily; A facial sunscreen that doesn’t upset my sensitive skin’s fine balance can seem like a unicorn. I prefer moisturizing formulas with dewier results; matte finishes tend to magnify fine lines, I’ve found. I want a sunscreen that neither feels heavy on my face nor is detectable by anyone else. My ideal formula must also play well with any makeup I use: I’ve learned, for instance, that the white cast of classic zinc formulas plus blush can leave me looking very mime-y. And last, but certainly not least, it must be fragrance-free or at least scented to a barely discernible degree. Fragrance can be a sneaky skin irritant, and I would rather my face didn’t smell like cloying coconuts or shampoo. I dutifully tested a massive pile of sunscreens of every creed with all the aforementioned criteria in mind. It’s true that you won’t like using sunscreen until you find sunscreen you like using. 👣👣My journey of getting rid of “chicken skin aka Keratosis Pilaris”👣👣 The journey was a slow one, but worth the patience ✌🏻 ❗️Keratosis Pilaris is a common skin condition that is completely harmless but can be difficult to keep under control. Sometimes referred to as 'chicken skin', it presents itself as dry, rough patches of bumps on skin, which can appear on your upper thighs, back of your arms and even on your face. If you struggle with this chicken skin on arms, legs or your face, you're not alone. Approximately 40% of adults and 80% of adolescents have these Keratosis Pilaris bumps somewhere on their bodies❗️ ⁉️What product you need⁉️ For 🛁 baking soda Soap free body wash For moisturizer 💦 Aveeno/ Darmaveena body lotion Extra virgin coconut oil glycerin I have always had this skin issues- upper arm, back, upper thighs” since I was a kid.😔 I knew you can’t get rid of these!! And this is a stubborn one!! However, I read somewhere -sodium bio carbonate aka baking soda helps reducing keratosis pilaris. Honestly first i was like- Yaa whatever.. then I thought 💭 what’s wrong with give it a go. So i have started using baking soda in my shower with a scrubber with little amount of body wash (one soap free- I prefer shea butter or coca butter) gave a good scrub all of my body, take a warm bath afterwards. Bare in mind you won’t get foamy bath but a good scrub doesn’t need it to be foamy. Be generous when taken baking soda. For one bath I would say 3 tablespoons🥄 🧽One of best tips for getting rid of Keratosis Pilaris is to body brush/ scrub . Used daily Body Brush works as a Keratosis Pilaris treatment, helping to smooth bumps by stimulating circulation and the lymphatic system and working to brush away dead skin cells and exfoliate skin. Cut on a smooth angle, the bristles on this brush are specially designed not to scratch skin. Brush affected areas each morning before showering, moving upward towards the heart.🛀🏼 Please note, after wash you need very good moisturizer🧴 and coconut oil🥥 is MANDATORY ❗️ I mix them both in a containers with Glycerin 💧 Glycerin helps locking the moisturizer and can draw moisture from the air around us and help keep that moisture in skin.💦 Coconut oil is also a fantastic treatment for Keratosis Pilaris as it contains Lauric Acid which can help to break up Keratin, and avoid build up which can reduce the appearance of bumps on the back of the arms and body. It is also rich in both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties to help reduce redness.🌟 It took me fair bit of time to see the final results💫- give or take 4-8 months and you will notice how dramatically your skin changes. Changes will start to notice in a month. The spots will disappear which is amazing 🤩 FYI- stop scratching them at the first place, that never helps I promise, contrary makes it worse!!👎 Best of luck❤️ Aveeno - Moisturizing Creamy Oil Sweet Almond NUBIAN HERITAGE - Raw Shea Butter Body Wash Age-Defying and Protecting AURA CACIA - Organic Vegetable Glycerin

If you are wondering......
This was a topic that really confused me because I have heard so many different things. Here is how my dermatologist recommended doing it. Note: I use a retinol serum. I’m not sure if a cream would work the same doing it this way. Always ask your dermatologist if you are really unsure. Cleanse, double cleanse if you want. Next, you can use a toner if you normally do. You can even use a glycolic acid toner before using retinol. Then wait until your skin is TOTALLY DRY. . Retinol. Take a pea-size amount of your retinol and, starting at your chin, apply with your fingertips in upward and outward motions. Hyaluronic Acid serum. This is a tip that is supposed to help give your skin the moisture it needs after the retinol. Eye Cream. Moisturizer. Your nighttime moisturizer should be heavier than your daytime moisturizer, especially after using a retinol. Oils. It’s a great thing to use a facial oil at night and even more important to after a retinol to give your skin the added hydration it needs. Hope this helped if you are confused like I was! This process works amazing for me and hope it does you as well! 🧡

Fight hyperpigmentation with Youth to
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Kombucha + 11% AHA Exfoliation Power Toner The Youth to The People kombucha power toner is marketed as a toner for smoothing skin, minimizing the appearance of pores, firming the skin, and lightening hyperpigmentation with its 11% acid blend. This product is labeled to be best for anyone dealing with dull or uneven texture, or loss of skin firmness and elasticity. The toner is s very lightweight liquid, and a little bit goes a long way. I put about 5 drops onto a cotton pad and gently swipe it across my face. The suggested use of this product is 3 to 5 times per week, working up to nightly use. I personally don’t feel the need to use this that many days a week. I have been using it 2 times a week for the past month and I feel that’s often enough for me. Some people claim to experience a little tingling with this product, as it does have a bit of a higher acid concentration. I didn’t feel any tingling, my skin did get a little red but it went away after a moment. I do find that if you use too much product, it can make your skin feel a little sticky after, so be careful not to oversaturate the cotton pad. Other than the very brief redness, I haven’t had any adverse effects. After using this consistently, any post inflammatory hyperpigmentation I get lightens so much faster and better than before I started using it. Besides the fact that this toner works well for me, it’s also vegan, cruelty free, and contained in recyclable glass packaging. I would definitely recommend this product to others, and will be buying it again. I took one star off the rating because at $38 for 4oz. this product is a lot more costly than similar exfoliating toners.

Two good serums to improve dark complexion👍👍
Today i'd like to talk about how to whiten my skin tone. Here's two products which I think are very useful for improving dark complexion. I don't wanna talk about the DECORTE which I bought in Japan cuz it disappointed me a lot lol... Shiseido White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector is a serum that claims to fade dark spots and improve skin’s overall radiance. I’ve been using the MicroTargeting Spot Corrector at least once daily for about six weeks now. After six weeks, I haven’t seen dramatic changes in the landscape of the remaining sunspots on my upper cheekbones or the one single one on my left eyelid. The edges are a bit more faded, but neither the big ones nor the lighter little spots (which the package insert also specifies will be, uh, micro-targeted) have gone anywhere. I do notice a slight increase in overall translucence and even tone, particularly on the foot I subjected to this serum. The effects aren’t drastic for me, but I can see how they could be for someone with a more limited routine and fewer strong actives than I use. Physically, the White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector has a lot in common with the Sulwhasoo serum, too. It’s a comparatively thin and watery-feeling liquid with a lot of slip and a pretty strong fragrance. I didn’t have any problems with the alcohol or other ingredients in the product–no breakouts or irritation–and I found it pleasant to apply (if perfumey) and very fast-drying. (Thanks, alcohol!) It also comes in an airless pump bottle, a nice touch that helps preserve the product’s effectiveness. One final note on the performance of this product: The package insert claims not only reparative but also preventative benefits to the MicroTargeting Spot Corrector. It’s meant to resist the formation of new dark spots or hyperpigmentation over time. Strong antioxidants, like the resveratrol in this product, may not only help ward off free radical-induced skin aging, but also prevent pigment darkening by inhibiting the oxidation of melanin already present in skin. That may be the case, but it doesn’t make this a substitute for sunscreen. Really, no matter what other brightening products you’ve got going on, you should be backing them up with sunscreen. You just won’t make any progress otherwise. Conclusion: Has my experience with the White Lucent MicroTargeting Spot Corrector dimmed a little of the Shiseido brand’s luster in my mind? Yeah, I guess. I was disappointed in the fairly minimal results I got after an extended period of use. It’s important to note that I’m used to attacking my pigmentation issues with much stronger actives, however, and also important to note that I did see some improvement–just not equivalent to what I see with vitamin C or tretinoin. Strong actives aren’t for everyone, so if you’re just looking for increased overall translucency and even skin tone and are willing to shell out the $100+ for a bottle of this product, you may find it does what you need. Olay White Radiance Light-Perfecting Essence This new-generation essence provides dual whitening action for natural and luminous fairness, without severe measures like chemical peels & micro-dermabrasion. I have a sensitive skin due to eczema so I'm always hesitant to try new products, especially on my face but since Olay has a good reputation and I've already tried their lotions and soaps, I was excited to apply and try this product! I love the very funky packaging! The product is in a glass bottle with a dropper. This is my first time using a dropper because I don't like that it needs to touch my skin then return it inside the bottle for possible cross-contamination. After almost 3 weeks of using this product, I can say that its brightening and glowing effect is very effective. It brightens my face and neck which before has different shades. What I also like that it has this refreshing smell of Jasmine and Rose petals. It also has a lightweight texture. My skin absorbs it right away and does not leave any greasy feeling. As expected, on my first try my forehead got red and itchy but I did notice that the product was easily absorbed by the skin (like in seconds!) and it feels like you didn't put anything on your skin. No stickiness, very mild smell (I so love the smell), no white cast, no oily looking finish. It might not feel anything but when you look at your face it really gives that glowy fresh look! So I decided to give my skin a chance to adjust and now after two (2) weeks of using there's no more red and itchy forehead (gone on day 2) and I don't know if its just me but i think my pores looks finer if I use the product as itself. Over-all I would love to use the whole set of this product for best results because the essence alone is great already. Good job Olay!

Save your brows! The best Combo: Castor serum + Mascara
Hey ya! Have you ever heard of the name of Castor oil ? Do you know it is one of the best kept secrets in the world of natural beauty? Taken from the bean of the Castor plant, this oil is rich in ricinoleic acid (omega-9 fatty acid), which exerts powerful therapeutic effects. It can help you grow new eyebrow hair in bare areas that might have been over-tweezed. And it was super cheap! Since I knew this secret, I have created my brow serums for many times. As you can see from the pic 1, my brows do grow thicker!! Let me tell you how I made this miracle happen. So first of all, you should prepare at least four ingredients showing as follow👇👇👇Don't worry, they are all easy to buy. Castor oilAloe vera gel (preferably fresh)Rosemary essential oil (optional)Olive oil And then, here is what you should do step by step Mix equal parts castor oil and aloe vera gel and olive oil in a re-usable pot or jar. For aloe vera, it’s best if you harvest it fresh from an actual aloe plant. Investing in an aloe plant isn’t a bad idea because the gel has lots of uses, and it also makes a cute accent in your home! (To prepare the gel, trim off a section of the plant. Use a knife to carefully slice off the spiky edges and then to peel off one flat side of the leaf. From there you can use the knife to gently scrape the gel from the middle into your jar). After that, I like to add just a few drops of rosemary essential oil. This gives the serum a nice scent and also has some added restorative benefits when it comes to your hair follicles! As for how to apply them, I usually use them every night before bed. Make sure it’s mixed well, then smooth it over your brows and the surrounding skin, making sure to cover any sparser areas. As always, it’s best to do a test patch on your skin 24 hours before the first time you use the serum to make sure your skin won’t react badly to any of the ingredients. Btw, for better effect, Hope everyone could have their perfect brows! Any questions feel free to ask me on the comment area~😘
THE Most Underrated Skincare Brand 🏆
I have sensitive combination skin that is acne-prone. I was dealing with a lot of hormonal acne as well but I’ve finally gotten it a bit more under control but do get breakouts and acne scars still. I’m also very sensitive to fragrance. Recently I bought a few products from Krave and I never plan on going back. They don’t have the fullest range just yet but the products they do have are total rockstars in affordability and ingredients. 🌱 Krave is all about taking a clean break. There are a lot of misconceptions and nasties in the skincare world that are not needed and not smart. Krave is all about taking a break from that and resetting. Here are my current favorites: ✨Great Barrier Relief Serum $28 for 1.52 fl oz 🔑 Key Ingredients: Tamanu Oil, Safflower Oil, Rosehip Oil, Vitamin B3, Ceramide These ingredients are for skin regeneration, hyperpigmentation, anti-aging, brightening, acne-fighting and generally repairing a damaged skin barrier. This serum is turning into an all time favorite between the ceramide and niacinamide ingredient list. I actually use this after a lighter Vitamin C serum during the morning on my mask area and I think it’s been really helping to create a barrier and prevent breakouts from constant mask wearing. This product is great for mimicking your skin’s natural moisture barrier so it’s great for skin that needs help from too many actives, sunburn, etc. ✨The Beet Shield $20 for 50ml 🔑 Key Ingredients: Beet root, Allantoin, Vitamin C, Resveratrol and EGCG. This daytime fluid has ingredients that overall give skin antioxidants, prevent signs of aging, soothe skin, fight free radicals, reduce pigmentation, reduce blemishes and moisturize. This is a chemical screen that is very lightweight. It doesn’t leave skin sticky or leave a white cast. It also has Vitamin C which I love! I feel like using this and their serum has maintained my clear skin even with the mask. Matcha Hemp Hydrating Cleanser $16 for 4.05 fl oz 🔑 Key Ingredients: Matcha, hemp seeds, oats, almonds, Vitamin B5 and Sodium PCA. ✨This cleanser is stunning. It is highly hydrating and skin barrier friendly. This can be used morning and night and a little goes a long way. The normal amount I’ve used in the past covered my fave, neck, chest and back so I’ve been able to use less by using this product as well. It doesn’t strip the skin and packs a gorgeous punch of antioxidants and hydration while cleansing. Perfection. ♻️ You can also choose carbon offset shipping for $1 more when ordering from them and the products come in a 100% recyclable carton with no excess fillers.
