Hi everyone, so recently I have been getting acne all over my forehead and now more around my cheeks. My skin type is Normal-Dry Skin Also I know that my skin isn’t as bad as other people, however- I am only comparing my skin with myself. No one else. I don’t know what to do to help make it better. I have a hard time maintaining my skin to keep it clear because one day could look nice then in 2 days I break out. > I always try to drink 1500ml of water everyday > However I do struggle a bit with eating. Some mornings I will skip breakfast and sometimes even lunch. If I eat something it could also be something sugary. I always want to eat and everything however, I just don’t have time to prepare and when there’s no food at home I just skip eating. - I will for sure work on that but just eating 3 meals a day, will it change my skin? And what foods are best to eat? Skin Care Routine: CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Avène - CLEANANCE SUNSCREEN SPF 50+ (Sunscreen for the mornings) I don’t have a solid routine and I am working on it. I just don’t want to use so much on my face. What else is best to add to my routine? How do I also take care of active acne? I know I shouldn’t pop them but sometimes they’re just so big and I feel like that’s what everyone just see when they talk to me/look at me.

January 11, 2021 My skin was not the greatest. It overall got so bad and honestly I was eating so much junk food, drinking not a lot of water and skipping out on my skin routine because I was lazy. After 2 weeks my skin has just a few pimples but overall makes me feel confident. January 24, 2021 I stayed with my regular skin routine: CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion Avène - CLEANANCE SUNSCREEN SPF 50+ And just trusted the process and tried to not pick on them. I am super happy with how I’ve recently managed my skin and all I needed to do was stick to what i should do and continue doing that. > I drink 1500ml+ a day >Started to workout daily, even for just a few minutes > And felt more confident I have a hard time maintaining healthy skin but I will continue improving my diet, drinking more water and etc... I got so mad but I needed to love myself no matter what because, acne just makes you even more beautiful. I have learned to love myself and I’m happy with who I’ve become throughout this 2 week journey.

Does anyone suggest anything I should do? Honestly I don’t have such a set routine, -CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser -Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion -Avène - CLEANANCE SUNSCREEN SPF 50+ Is mostly what I use daily. I have started getting a lot of acne on my forehead and between my eyebrows and now it’s mostly scars which I don’t know how to clear up. Do need to drink more water or use certain products? -I also wash my face in the morning without a cleanser because I heard it’s better for you, is that true? Thank you

Hi lovelies 💕 Here is what I’ve been using for the past few months and I just want to say - a very simple routine goes a long way. Cleanser: your skin should feel clean after you wash your face, but it shouldn’t feel ‘squeaky’. I think there are no need to use cleanser with active ingredients and acids as they strip your skin of your natural oils & pretty much leave your skin irritated. Gentle cleanser works best for me. I normally cleanse 1 time in the morning, and 2 times at night. Serum: I always apply serums while my skin is still wet. I don’t dry my face with a towel all the way, better yet, let your skin dry on its own and apply your serums while the skin it a bit wet. I warm up my serum in my hands for 2 seconds before I apply it to my face. This specific serum from Vichy is great, and it is safe to use on your eyes so I apply it everywhere. Moisturizer: something I did not know when I was younger - no matter what your skin type is, moisturize. Find a moisturizer that works for you and apply it every.single.day. I had a bit of an oily skin growing up and thought a moisturizer would make it more oily and would clog pores, so I skipped that step completely. After trying a bunch of creams/moisturizers/lotions, I am now using the most simple one you can find in any store, and it does it’s job perfectly for me and does not clog my precious pores. I highly recommend a simple moisturizer during the day, no active ingredients needed. SPF: simply a must. Don’t skip it. I wear SPF even when I’m at home as the sun could still get it. Another mistake that I made when I was younger is not wearing SPF which made my PIH worse. I use this ultra light SPF which is non-comedogenic and creates a very good base for makeup. This combo of lotion + SPF is my favourite as they feel light on the skin and they don’t ‘roll’ on the surface. PM: this is where these active ingredients come in handy. Choosing your night treatment is very important as this is when you can address what concerns you the most and the treatment will soak right into your skin and will sit there overnight while you sleep 😴 making your $ count as PM treatments get pricey and you want to get the most of using them. My concerns are PIH and dark spots, niacinimide works very well for me. This very simple PM lotion from Cerave is very effective if you struggle from PIH, I highly recommend it 👍🏼 Don’t forget to drop your suggestions for me in the comments ❤️

These tips + these products have helped my skin: - Double cleanse EVERY night - Gentle non-foaming cleanser morning & night - Cleanse for at least 60 seconds, if not longer - Moisturize with CeraVe PM every morning & night (contains niacinamide) - CeraVe daily moisturizer on dry spots - Retinoid (Differin) nightly, applying every other night for a month then stepping up to nightly. - alternate weekly between azelaic acid & salicylic acid in the morning - AHA once a week at night if I take a break from differin - BP spot treatment on active pimples. I did not change my diet or dairy intake. However I have noticed myself eating a side of fruit & veggies with lunch or dinner. I have been sleeping more (thanks covid) & I wash pillowcases and towels weekly. I use a separate towel for my face, plus I have stopped putting conditioner right on my hair line.

Years in curology
Years in curology
I tried using products myself after being on curology for two years. Curology not only helped treat my acne but helped me learn what different acne is, ways I get it and ways to prevent it. It’s really not just the formula but the personal dermatologist PA that answers your questions. You can contact them anytime and expect an answer within 2 days. This is what makes it worth it va several visits to the dermatologist. I tried treating it myself but returned to curology. I wish I could get credit for referrals as I personally recommend curology all the time.

CeraVe Healing Ointment
CeraVe Healing Ointment
This is PERFECT for my skin and believe me... I have pretty bad skin! It’s not acne that’s bad, I have none, it’s eczema and dry skin. I usually used Vaseline - 100% Pure Petroleum Jelly, Original before. I would rate this 5 stars, except you can’t use in in the day because it makes your face OVERLY shiny and highlights your red spots. Also, it takes FOREVER to sink into your skin, so I just used it before bed, and that was perfectly fine. That’s why I use CeraVe Healing Ointment. It’s basically the same consistency as Vaseline except a little less greasy and smooth. I would not recommend wearing this in the day as well, but use it at night after you shower and it’s a LIFE SAVER. After I shower I put VANICREAM - Lite Lotion which I 100% recommend on my cheeks and forehead, and the CeraVe - Healing Ointment (4 1/2 stars) around my eyes and all over my mouth. I also use it on the cracks of my arms and legs and neck. I definitely recommend this If you have eczema or dry skin. Also it doesn’t have any added scents that make you itchy. Hope you try it out! Tell me in the comments if you’ve used this before!

Hello everyone! I am looking f
Hello everyone! I am looking for some help! Ever since having to wear mask for 12 hours a day at work where I’m constantly being active and sweating. My skin has been worse then ever! I have very sensitive and dry skin so my products are limited that I feel comfortable to use without breaking out 20 times more! I wash my face with Cetaphil General Cleanser in the morning and just water before I go to bed and then I use baby lotion for my face because it is not harsh. I try to make sure to drink lots of water as well to try and help my skin but this has been going on for months now with no change..... anyone have any tips for me. Greatly appreciated and thank you!!

Is Thermal water Science backed?
Is Thermal water Science backed?
Swipe left for more ⬅️ You must have heard about Thermal water, and people talking about how it helped their Acne.... It helps with mine too!!! I'll briefly explain about it... I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2018, and there it came with major hormonal imbalance. I get my hormonal imbalance worked out qith medication and it flares up after few months. This caused me have active cystic hormonal acne. I stopped having cystic acne in my late teenage and I never experienced acne after that. But in 2018 it all came back but this time I had it around my chin, side of cheeks. I am using Acne treatments, Active ingredients and potent chemical exfoliants since more than a year now. Few months back, I started using @avene Thermal Spring water to spritz on my face in the morning and night. This used to help me with painful acne, irritation and inflammation. It still helps me with tolerating the Actives batter and helps my skin calm down. 💧So What is Thermal water? ➡️Thermal water comes from hot springs. The water in these hot springs come from deep in the ground, where it’s heated by geothermal activity. 💧 What's in Thermal water and How does it help sensitive skin? ➡️It’s water but it isn't just water in a can. As the thermal water rises to reach the spring, it passes through rocks and soil which dissolve to add minerals to the water. The mineral content of a particular thermal water depends on where it comes from. The minerals include the ones found in your skin’s natural moisturising factor (NMF), like chlorides, sodium, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. ✨Swipe left in images for the list of variation in contents. 💧So, what does Thermal water do for our skin? ➡️ There's minimal scientific evidence on performance of thermal water helping skin. Only a handful of peer-reviewed studies. There's a report showing the Ancient use of thermal water in Balneotherapy (Bathing in Thermal water) against various skin issues like psoriasis and dermatitis. Thermal water is shown to be anti-inflammatory and helps with skin irritation. 💧How does it help my skin? Do I like it? ➡️With Active cystic acne and constant inflammation of hormonal brreakouts, I like the feel of this cool water on my skin. It's instantly cooling, soothing while it helps my skin tolerate the Active ingredients and Acne treatments better. 👍 I have experienced whenever I use Thermal water every morning and night my skin doesn't misbehave and experience redness. The water is merely any heavy and is very gentle on skin. And if it helps a little with inflammation, why not? ❤️ My favorites are @avene Thermal Spring water Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray and @evian Natural Mineral water evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray ✨❄️Do you like Thermal water? Does it help your skin? 🌿Sources:👇 https://labmuffin.com/what-is-thermal-water-and-how-does-it-work-in-skin-care/

CUROLOGY TO THE RESCUE !!!
CUROLOGY TO THE RESCUE !!!
So my bff had really bad acne. Hormonal/oily combo + cystic. The worst.... 😭😭 I noticed in February her skin was looking really clear and I asked her what she was using/doing differently. She told me she uses the Curology 3 step system. I was not too thrilled when I heard 3 step system because I had tried other brands like that and it hasn’t worked out for my acne. But I gave it a shot. I signed up for there $5 “trial box” and took really in depth pictures of my acne for the dermatologists down at Curology to concoct me my very own serum to pair with their cleanser + moisturizer. After about 3 days I noticed my skin was clearer. So I was hooked and sad after the trial was over. For about $50 every 2 months they send you your 3 FULL SIZE PRODUCTS! That’s a pretty good deal knowing I’m getting customized skincare to my door ;) also I am from San Diego and this is a San Diego based company !!!! CUROLOGY IS DEF MAKING MY HOMETOWN PROUD 🙏🏻🤩💚 I would try this out if your loosing hope and have tried EVERYTHING. I incorporate the cleanser + moisturizer + acne serum with my toners, serums & face essences and they pair all beautifully! I will be uploading a video for my DAYTIME ROUTINE showing you my steps with Curology soon!! ❤️💕❤️💕
