My skincare (normal to oily sensitive skin)

My current routine! I have ups & downs & some I want to improve but this is what it’s currently at! Not pictured: TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder
Absolutely love! Was going back & forth between this version & the one for oily skin but this one is juuuuuust right for my picky skin!! Pictured: (in order of use) TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener
Omg-it’s a game changer! This stuff may just look like fancy water (lol who am I kidding-I use evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray
so yeah-THATS fancy water but I love it! lol) but this stuff is 100% the real deal! I’ve noticed that products glide one & I don’t have as much of the shiny effect after putting on my skincare routine! Yay! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum
Ok so warning on this one-you’ll never use a full pump unless you share with 2 other people at the same time-this pump is stupid-I hate it but the product so far has done a good job & hasn’t made me run to go find a new one right away-could it be improved...? Yeah-but it’s a good option for me for now 😊 also-I don’t like using this by itself cuz it’s drying... so for a fix to that I added.... DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream
One again-you don’t need a full pump unless you’re sharing-no one has that much surface area to cover with this...ugh. This is the step that was missing when I just was using the firming serum-this is hydrating & goes after because it’s thicker. The combo works for me. Would I rather have 1 product? Yes. Would I rather have a better pump that doesn’t portion out share sizes of product? Yes.... am I rushing to Sephora to find a new one? Ha! No.... Curology - Curology formula
My 2 cents on those people who hate this? It’s not for you & that’s ok! But dang does this work for me!! It’s a must have!! Love it!! -or- never and DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum I haven’t used this enough to rate but this is supposedly suppose to help with dark spots & pores? We shall see tester size...we shall see... TATCHA - The Water Cream
Omg moisture heaven! Smells like a spa, glides on like a dream AND has gold in it? Sign me up! This stuff is amazing-I love it & it does wonders for me! Add ons! TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK
Not in love-good for dry spots or singular areas every once in a while but meh-not worth it & not a fave of mine. TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
Also-not in love. Is it nice when I’m dried out? Yeah! Does it last? Nooooot really? Meh-I have it I’ll use it & I won’t buy again... TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++
Meh-this is just....meh. Again will use it up & not rebuy....

✨ The Facial Spray to End All Facial Sprays ✨
Hey M8’s! I’m all about glowing skin and ideally, I want my skin to glow without highlighters, concealers and foundations. I’ve tried many different facial sprays and almost all of them made my skin glow - the catch was that this glow would not last through the day. They would also make my not usually greasy skin, look very greasy. The Evian Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray changed all of this for me. evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray The Evian Facial Spray claims to: Hydrate / Moisturise: I was a little skeptical about this claim as it is mineral water; I thought that it may wash off my moisturiser and eye gel but it didn’t! I used the spray like a setting spray (minus the makeup) so I had moisturiser and eye & brow gel under it. It definitely felt like my skin had another moisture barrier and did not wash anything off. Refresh: It’s cool mineral water (if stored correctly). The product sprays out of the bottle lightly and feels incredibly refreshing (similar to the way the Morphe Continuous Setting Mist sprays). To test out this claim I used the product after work and it definitely made my skin look very fresh! This would make the product great in summer because it has proven to be long lasting. Tone: The facial spray removed as much dirt as other toners I have used before. Witch Hazel toner normally removes any traces of dirt from my skin, the Evian facial spray is not as good as Witch Hazel in this area. The product instructs that you can spray it several times a day - I obtained the results above off of just one spray! This spray is the best facial spray I have ever used and I will definitely be buying it again! It can be used at any time of the day or night - and even as a setting spray! Most importantly it kept my skin glowing all day with no greasy look at 5:00pm!😂 If you are in Australia 🇦🇺 you can pick up one of these at your local Chemist Warehouse for $8.01 for 300ml / 10.1 fl. oz.- a bloody bargain if you ask me! Rating: 9/10 Lost 1 point for not being able to tone as well as Witch Hazel. Thanks for reading M8’s!! May God bless your skin and mine !💋

Rosacea/Sensitive skin routine!
This is my new routine for the fall. I recently found out I have rosacea and hormonal acne so I have been experimenting with what products would best suit my skin. For reference: the hormonal birth control pill is what has cleared up my skin dramatically, and I cannot attribute my routine to clearing it up. But my routine is keeping my skin’s moisture barrier soft, healthy and glowing. I will add a brief overview of my routine and why it’s working so well for me! HERBIVORE - Pink Cloud Rosewater + Tremella Creamy Jelly Cleanser This cleanser is everything.... it’s low foaming, soft and gentle and effectively melts off any and all makeup and sunscreen. It’s non stripping, the only smell to it is very natural and not strong at all, and it’s also very hydrating. Tremella mushroom provides more hydration than regular Hyaluronic acid, and plant based squalane emulsifies all of the makeup and dirt on the skin to gently yet effectively whisk it away. When you rinse, your skin feels so comfortable and never tight/dry. My tried and true CeraVe hydrating cleanser started burning my skin so this cleanser has been a game changer for me! evian - Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray I made a post about this mist. I find that the water in NYC can be a little hard so using this resets my skin’s pH balance and makes for a very soothing product in my routine. I follow with moisturizer after using this lovely fine mist. Kiehl's - Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer This is such a lovely, simple cream. It has squalane, glycerin, apricot, avocado, olive and rice bran oils, and glacial glycoprotein. This moisturizer is thick enough to help the skin retain moisture and stay soft and supple without being heavy. I love this and I think it’s perfect for the fall to keep combination/normal/oily skin in check! DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask Such a lovely product from drunk elephant! This is a multi use moisturizer/mask. It’s a leave on treatment chock full of hydrating and nourishing ingredients like electrolytes, vitamin F beads (they melt when you massage it in), a large dose of Niacinamide and squalane. This product is so lightweight yet moisturizing and really locks in hydration. I use this on top of my moisturizer night and day for glowy and happy skin! SUNDAY RILEY - Auto Correct Brightening and Depuffing Eye Contour Cream One of the only eye creams I actually like! There is a slightly botanical smell to it, but it doesn’t linger. This cream is very moisturizing, illuminating and instantly brightening/depuffing. When I use it I don’t have to use much concealer for my dark undereyes! GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask A very gentle retinol eye cream. No peeling/irritation. I find this helps to smooth texture and helps milia too! Not very clinical but still a nice product.

Drunk Elephant- The Littles 🐘
I won this cute little kit in a raffle & I couldn’t be more thankful! I have always wanted to try these products but never wanted to spend the money on all of them incase I didn’t like them! Inside this kit are the following products: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 That’s literally a whole skincare routine! So far I started out my day with one of Drunk Elephants infamous “Face Smoothies” I washed my face with Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser & then combined C-Firma Day Serum, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, & Protini Polypeptide Cream together on my mixing trey with a disposable skincare spatula! I applied it all over my face & neck. Once that absorbed, I applied Umbra Tinte Daily Defense SPF 30 over my face & neck & was done! I love how the kit comes with steps to walk you through different routines you can use in the morning or at night! I will do a follow up review after I have used all the products for a few weeks! But so far, my skin feels & looks great! I have been breaking out lately & haven’t felt the best about my skin so I really needed this pick me up!! Thank you for reading! You guys are the best!! ❤️ @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

This Drunk Elephant C-Tango multivitamin Eye Cream is formulated with eight peptides, five forms of vitamin C and cucumber. This can be used AM and PM. EOs, Silicons and Fragrance free. This eye cream is not heavy and absorb quickly. It works well for brightening, but for my mature skin, I need an eye cream can also help fine lines. I will recommend this eye cream if you are in your 20s. DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream

I should be studying, but Tatcha mail!📦📚
So I’m totally supposed to be studying right now, but I got a Tatcha package & I’m so distracted! They recently had a 20% off sale so I picked up some old favorites & new things to check out. Among them, this beautiful book written by the creator & founder of Tatcha, Victoria Tsai. I figured I why not add to my growing skincare book collection📚 #Tatcha - Pure Skin book[products]#[FiveStars] $18 -published in 2018 (available for $6 - bookoutlet.com) Took a break from studying to peek inside this beauty... The delicate, mainly watercolor illustrations by Samantha Hahn, are simply gorgeous. Only a little over 125 pages, it’s a quick read, but it’s so beautiful & full of helpful tips. Victoria Tsai breaks down the heritage, importance, ingredients & effects of each step in ‘The Geisha Ritual’ The book also discusses other elements of Japanese self care & health practices. TATCHA - Camellia Gold Spun Lip Balm $30/.21 oz One of my all time favorite lip balms. The first ingredient is Squalane (derived of Olive, not Shark liver) so it’s super moisturizing. It contains beneficial Rice extracts, including both germ & bran oil. It has other nourishing ingredients like Camellia seed oil, Licorice extract, Green Tea leaf extract & Algae! Oh yes, & 23-karat gold is the last ingredient, kinda just for fun. Gold does have anti-inflammatory & antioxidant properties, & even antibacterial properties at a nano particle level, but because gold isn’t soluble, flakes this large likely produce no anti-aging effects, but are also completely safe. TATCHA - Aburatorigami Japanese Blotting Papers $12/40 sheets Another Tatcha favorite of mine. My absolute holy grail blotting papers. I noticed the package is different than last time, & I know changes may have been made by Unilever, but I’ll address all those things in my upcoming full reviews of all these products. Here’s the new things I’m going to try! I’ve tried many of the Rice Polishes, but not this one yet. I’m hoping this Pearl eye treatment can do a lil sumthin sumthin for my dark circles... TATCHA - The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment TATCHA - Calming Foaming Enzyme Powder 🍚 Have you tried these? I’d love to know your experience! Later babes💜 back to studying lol 😝

Tatcha, I’m in love! 💜
I’d like to share about Tatcha, a brand I love. After a decade of working for large corporations, Victoria Tsai yearned for simplicity and authenticity in her life. Suffering from acute dermatitis and developing a keen awareness of the importance of ingredients on the skin, she began traveling East in search of a more evolved, holistic approach to beauty. On a trip to Kyoto, she discovered a world of pure beauty, craftsmanship and heritage. An encounter with a modern-day geisha changed her life. Victoria learned classical Japanese beauty secrets passed down by generations that took a different approach to skincare - that less is more. This skin care philosophy and time-tested ingredients were captured in an ancient text widely considered to be the oldest beauty book written in Japan, and perhaps the first such work of its kind. Within its three delicate, thread-bound volumes are seven chapters devoted to beauty and elegance in both appearance and spirit. This special guide informs and inspires the Tatcha collection. Wouldn’t you love an opportunity to see that book!? 🙋‍♀️ Tatcha works with scientists in Japan and the U.S., to create each formula from scratch, advancing time-honored beauty practices for fast-paced, modern life. The foundation is Hadasei-3™, a trinity of anti-aging superfoods born from the Japanese diet, and the basis for the original geisha beauty rituals: green tea, rice and algae. Every ingredient is carefully selected and minimally manipulated to be gentle and safe with maximum effectiveness. Tatcha is also about giving back! Tatcha's philanthropic model funds girls' education in partnership with Room to Read with every skincare purchase, helping to nurture the beautiful minds of incredible girls in Asia and Africa. In 2017, Tatcha celebrated the funding of one million days of school, which goes far beyond textbooks and classrooms—each day includes life skills coaching, mentorship, and the tools needed to enable a brighter future. Purity Promise: We adhere to Japan’s official safety and purity standard, one of the highest in the world. Using natural ingredients from renowned provenances, we apply food science principles to transform time-tested beauty into clean formulas. Every formula starts in the fields and seas of Japan, where we harvest nutrient-dense green tea, rice bran, and algae, the superfoods credited with Japanese longevity. Always looking to what is naturally good for the body to unlock what is extraordinarily good for the skin, our scientists use a natural process of double fermentation to release their bioavailable actives. Tips to Get the Most of Curology 🔥 🌟
Thanks for my goodies @curology! So happy to be a part of the #Curologyambassador family! 💗 Curology doesn’t work 100% of the time for everyone. As you know, skin issues are much more than skin deep. If you have a hormonal imbalance, topicals aren’t going to be the best for you. But they can still help with texture and hyperpigmentation. My tip: Many users can tolerate Curology every night. BUT if you’re new to any of its ingredients (like tretinoin), you might want to start slow. So you might find one to begin once a week for two weeks. Then, twice a week. Move up to three times a week. And then try it 4-5 times a week. First two week: Use twice a week (M/F) Third-four week: Use three times a week (M/W/F) After first month: Use four or five times a week (M/W/F/S) HOWEVER, this timeline only works if your skin is tolerating it. How do you know it is? We’ll make sure you DO NOT have any of these: Sudden dryness Redness Irritation Even if you can tolerate 4-5 times a week, I recommend you give your skin a day or two to relax and use those days for masks and moisturizers instead. 🌟 PD: I’m linking to my Curology page (I don’t get any commissions) for anyone who wants to try two months for FREE! #curologyambassador

Best Discovery of 2020! Face Oils! 🤩
Good morning/day lovely’s! I’m in the midst of recalibrating, learning and making more content to prepare for the future so pardon for some inconsistencies in posting! Anyways TOOOODAY...it is time to tell you about my favorite discovery in skincare for 2020...OILS! I never really thought I needed a face oil or would like it because I assumed that all oils were dense and took a long time to absorb into the skin. However, after introducing myself to Tsubaki Oil from Oshimatsubaki, my life changed! Tsubaki Oil is Japanese for Camellia Oil and it’s made from cold-pressing the seeds of the Camilla Japonica trees. It has high amounts of Oleic Acid and prevents transepidermal water loss. Your skin can naturally loose hydration through what’s called, “insensible water loss”. This means that throughout the day your skin/body looses moisture to keep you in a state of homeostasis. You can’t feel/sense it and there’s no way of providing exact measurements of how much you loose. Putting an oil after your moisturizer aids in avoiding transepidermal water loss and a barrier for protection against environmental factors. Not to mention, it can help heal acne scars, dry patches, redness, skin conditions, etc. My acne scarring has been healing quite well to a point where you BARELY notice any discoloration and BARELY have any dry patches anymore. I haven’t bought the DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum since having Oshimastubaki’s oil. My textured skin in my eye bag area have gotten softer and the fine lines are a wee bit less noticeable. I have tried both Camilla Oils in the photo and discovered some primary differences between them. With Tatcha’s oil you do get Camilla Oil, but you also get a lot of other ingredients like squalene, extracts, rice oil, etc. As for the other one, it’s one ingredient, which is the seeds that make the actual oil. I do feel as if Tatcha’s Oil is a bit “overdone” in a sense. If we are primarily talking about hydration, adding squalene isn’t necessarily needed because camellia oil is already hydrating. At some point in my life, I thought Tatcha’s oil was very well worth the price tag. However, that’s not the case anymore since I bought Oshimastubaki’s. I appreciate Oshimastubaki’s for its fast absorption and it doesn’t leave a greasy feel. Tatcha’s oil does stay on the skin longer most likely due to having Rice Bran Oil in its ingredients. Rice Bran Oil has a fast to medium absorption rate, so you may feel more “shiny” or “greasy” for a little while longer. I bought my oil through Amazon! Make sure it is authentic because there are some places/companies that will sell a different version of Camellia Oil. I highly encourage everyone, even oily skin to have a cold-pressed face oil tailored to their skin. It can really help the absorption of your current moisturizer and give you added benefits by providing necessary fatty acids & protection. It also looks amazing with makeup!

Current night routine 🌙
I wanted to share my current night routine for my skin, starting with when I shower, because it's really been working for me: 1. In the shower, I use a half pump of YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser to tighten pores, get rid of any gunk on my face, and to brighten. 2. After I'm done showering, my blood pressure tends to go up because of circulation improving, so I get in my pajamas and apply Glossier. - Super Pure Niacinamide + Zinc Serum to calm any redness. Then I brush my teeth. 3. Next, I spray a little bit of Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray all over and roll my face using my SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Quartz Facial Roller 4. I roll my face using the wide end, starting with my left cheekbone and go to the jawline while going in lines/diagonals on my cheeks. Then I do my forehead by going horizontally - the top first and moving down, focusing on my brow bones (bc of sinuses, same with cheekbones and undereyes), next is the right cheek same as the left, then chin, sides of nose & undereyes w/ small end, and I finish by going in lines like a fern - but the branches/stems, not the little leaves. starting in one spot, going out, and coming back but going to different spots each time until I get that area covered - I make 5 lines on both cheeks and forehead using this method. It's difficult to describe tbh - center between my eyes / middle of brow, for cheeks its by my ear opening) 5. After my face is all cooled off, I put on a dime-sized amount of either Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream or Glossier. - Priming Moisturizer Rich Luxurious Face Cream and lather it all over onto my face and neck. 6. Don't forget your lips! I use either my birthday, coconut, or my recent fave - the fig Glossier. - Balm Dotcom 7. The last step is to spray some more of my Avène - Thermal Spring Water Spray but I also have two other sprays - YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Adaptogen Soothe + Hydrate Activated Mist with Reishi + Ashwagandhaand TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Thx for reading ! 😊

My favorite face mists to beat dry skin
One of the most bougie things about my skincare routine is that I love to use a really nice face mist all year long. Since the weather is getting colder now, our skin is more prone to getting dry so we need to do everything we can to keep it nice and hydrated throughout the day so it doesn’t crack and feel like ‘ dry, winter skin.’ I’ll generally use a face mist once I’m out of the shower and before I apply my skincare so my skin really soaks it all up while it’s still damp. Mists are great to spritz throughout the day to keep your skin hydrated and not flaky (which is extremely important come fall/wintertime). Here are my current face mists I’ve been using on rotation: Lesse Regeneration Mist #Lesse - Regeneration Mist[products]#[FiveStars] - This is my favoriteeeeeee face mist and I will be replenishing it once I’m done. I love the whole line from Lesse and what the brand stands for. The mist is their latest launch and feels so fine and silky on the skin. It’s made of organic botanicals, is great for sensitive skin, and I just love the color, scent and how hydrating it feels. True Botanicals Calm Nutrient Mist TRUE BOTANICALS - Calm Nutrient Mist - An all-natural face mist made of blue chamomile, this mist is great for my sensitive skin and helps calm down my redness. I love misting this and taking a deep breath right before I use this to really soak in the scent and bring a sense of calm. Tatcha Luminous Skin Mist TATCHA - Luminous Dewy Skin Mist- I like to mist this 3-4x right before I apply my makeup if I want more of a dewy look for an extra glow. It’s made up of Okinawa red algae and hyaluronic acid to give skin a silky look and feels really luxurious. Odacité Treatment Mist #Odacité - Aloe + Immortelle Hydra-Repair Treatment Mist[products]#- This mist is great for sensitive and redness prone skin like mine. It’s made up of sea fennel and chamomile which helps puffiness especially around the eyes. I love that this is also all natural and GMO free as I try to use more non toxic beauty and skincare in my routine when I can. Dr. Barbara Sturm Hydrating Face MistDR. BARBARA STURM - Hydrating Face Mist- I received this mist as a gift but did not particularly love it. It felt like a nice, lightweight mist but I don’t think it’s worth it’s high price point of $95. I’d much rather opt for their hyaluronic serum or spf drops instead of the mist.

The Trunk 4.0🎪🐘
🎪DRUNK ELEPHANT - The Trunk 4.0 This kit comes fully stocked with everything you need for a truly complete skincare routine & a swift getaway! 🛩☁️ I wouldn’t travel right now, even if you paid me. Covid numbers aren’t going down & I take these facts very seriously. Haven’t had contact with almost anyone since March, because I do have a neurological disease that could put me at risk. I can’t tell anyone what to do... but do I urge you to consciously protect strangers while protecting yourself & your loved ones. My condition is one often referred to as an “Invisible Illness”. Many people have health conditions that others don’t outrightly see. Most people think I’m completely able-bodied unless I’m seen limping or having convulsions. I’ve only had this condition since 2014, so it’s been an adjustment & learning experience for my own prejudgements as well. 🧳My bf really likes the Monos locking suitcase & encouraged me to purchase this while the big Sephora sale was going on. He has to travel for his essential-work sometimes & this is a perfect carry-on size! It’s just as wide & deep as the ‘Monos Carry-On’ ($293) & only 4” shorter. specs: 18” high x 14” wide x 9” deep. Monos describes their Carry-On as: Designed to comply with the size restrictions of as many airlines as possible, & fits in the overhead bin of nearly any flight. So I think this slightly shorter rolling suitcase would 99% likely be accepted as a carry-on. 💚Really impressed with the quality! Its lightweight but well structured, great features/compartments + an antibacterial laundry bag. I’m totally new to Drunk Elephant, but I wanted to try their L-Ascorbic Acid serum, Glycolic Acid serum & the Babyfacial🍼🐘 I also want to start using a gentle retinol. Those 4 products alone would have been $324! With my Rouge discount: $360! Regular price is $450- You get 10 full size products, 3 minis +5 sample packets. 18 different things to try! ➖Which would you like me to review first?➖ 🐘I want to trial everything before I review! Here’s everything w/sizes & individual cost: #Drunk Elephant - Beste no.9 Jelly Cleanser[products]#$32/5 oz DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. What’s In My Fridge? ❄️
Here’s a look at what I have in my fridges these days - yes, I have two because I really enjoy chilled skincare that much! A lot of people ask if there are actual skincare benefits for storing your skincare in a fridge, or if it helps preserve the shelf life of your skincare products - It is simply for aesthetic purposes. I enjoy the cooling, soothing sensation it enhances; it adds to the experience when I am applying my skincare routine. In fact, I have read blogs where dermatologists discuss how it is not necessary to store skincare in a fridge as it does not make the products any more effective than they already are. As for extending or preserving shelf life, research has shown that only a slight extension of shelf life would occur with certain ingredients like retinol, but nothing to make you stop what you’re doing & splurge if you don’t have the extra funds available. I don’t know if it’s just in my head, but I do see a difference with treating puffiness & redness when using a chilled product vs room temperature. 💙 I store a lot of my Drunk Elephant staples that I enjoy chilled, a few other moisturizers / serums & eye creams that I like chilled as well. Eye creams & eye patches are my favorite chilled as it really helps with de-puffing the eye area, especially in the morning! Let me know down below what you have in your skincare fridge! ❄️

great heavy everyday cream with spf
I must have a daily face cream with spf. I've always used CLINIQUE superdefense SPF 20 Age Defense Moisturizer Very Dry to Dry Combination, but it's not longer sold, quick they've even changed the formula anyway from spf 25 to spf 20, so if been on the hunt for something similar. this is definitely my new Holy grail and TATCHA - Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 PA+++ comes a close second. I prefer think creams, as I have dry skin. I prefer Tatcha in the summer as it is lighter and as it's getting cooler, I use this origins. definitely moisturizing, easily emulsified into the skin. price point is $64. I'm still hunting a cheaper alternative, though this has lasted me about 6 months already! I've paired it with the ORIGINS - Plantscription Anti-Aging Eye Treatment which i love the consistency.

I really tried my best to cover all the details of the ingredients in this product and all yet I tried to make it brief and easy for all my fellow readers. So, S.W.I.P.E ➡️ to read my review(pic no.6). . I’ll rate it 9/10💥 . But again buy a sample or a travel sized pack to test then go for the full product. P.S: Those are real flowers and real pearls .

Clearly I am a sucker for clean skincare. I’ve tried many many products but these, work for me. Once a week I use the innisfree - Super Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Clay Mask on the parts of my face that’s covered by a Face mask and the upper portion I use TATCHA - Violet-C Radiance Mask and leave it on for 15 min then rinse off. Sunscreen is a absolute must! Even if I’m staying home I make it a habit to use sunscreen so that I know to never forget it.

Trying new things...
Soooooo here we go- Previously on my face (in tv show announcer voice) So I started out a few years ago trying out different eye serums & not really loving any but then I started using Dr Dennis Gross - Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum & it is magical for dark circles!! I am fair skinned (like vampire) so my skin under my eyes is thin & allows the pigmentation underneath show thru a bit easier than most.... Therefore this was a lifesaver for my under eye dark circles & dipping my toe into the water for eye serums....my problem with this magical serum? It didn’t really do anything for my fine lines under my eyes.... 😩 So in strolls SHISEIDO - Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Intensive Eye Contour Cream meh...super soft & moisturizing but not knocking me out of the park with my fine lines or really my dark circles......at all....combine this with dr dennis gross & my eyes are hydrated & then dark circles are gone but....moving on So then I tried TATCHA - The Silk Peony Melting Eye Cream & this stuff helps with the dark circles under my eyes & feels absolutely amazing (disclaimer-if you have sensitive skin do not mix this bad boy with dr dennis gross-that combo dried out my eyes so bad it was painful.....tho I learned that the only product that you can use on your skin that is USUALLY SAFE when needing to hydrate is plain ol’ vasoline-helped me on multiple occasions with skin problems) but same issues with my fine lines....ugh Added in TATCHA - THE SERUM STICK before I put on the peony silk eye cream & still....meh.... So-whilst looking for a clean option for an eye serum (realizing it’s prolly a good idea to be good to my skin now in my 20s) I stumbled across Drunk elephant & tonight I’m finally trying one of their eye serums!! DRUNK ELEPHANT - Shaba Complex Firming Eye Serum First impressions? Not a big fan of the smell... Jeeze! the pump puts out enough product for 3 people’s eyes But after it absorbed a bit....I feel the tightening I’m not dried out & I have hopes....not exactly high hopes but hopes.... We shall see!!

Updated Night Routine!
I had a lot of empties in January, so here is my updated night routine! I have a post detailing actives that I use and my schedule around those actives, so they won’t be included in this post. My first step is my double-cleansing step, I use the Dr Dennis Gross - Hyaluronic Marine Makeup Removing Meltaway Cleanser (📍)to remove SPF and makeup, which I really love, it’s very unique, but it doesn’t break me out at all. Then I use the LANEIGE - Cream Skin Milk Oil Cleanser (📍) to cleanse a second time, I really enjoy this too, my skin tends to freak out when it comes to Laneige’s fragrance, but this is fragrance-free!! After cleansing I steam my face with the Dr Dennis Gross - Pro Facial Steamer which I feel like has really helped the hydration levels of my skin. After that I’ll apply the TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener (📍)which I also like, but I’m not sure how much it’s really done for my skin for what it’s worth. I’ll steam again, for about 30 seconds and then go into my PETER THOMAS ROTH - Water Drench Hyaluronic Cloud Serum which is the only serum that can truly repair my moisture barrier when I’m breaking out. Then my eye product is The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG (📍)which I’ve been loving a lot too! My current winter moisturizer is the Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream which again, I like, but it feels like it puts a barrier on my skin, which kind of felt weird to begin with. After moisturizer, my last two steps are to treat any breakouts or spots with the Murad - Blemish Control Rapid Relief Spot Treatment and use something to lock it all in like the The Ordinary - 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil it does the job, but smells super weird. The only way I’ve been able to describe it is, picture the olive bar at a local grocery store, and the smell that comes from that. Not super pleasant, but it’s okay. 📍= product was sent to me for free

LED LIGHT THERAPY MASK
Everyone who’s used this kind of mask has seemed to love it so far. Picked this one up from Amazon for $40! It’s crazy considering you have celebs ripping people off and charging an outrageous $200 for literally the same mask I got for a quarter of the price. So far I’ve used it for less than a week and I’m really loving how well my acne has been improving along with my new and simpler skincare! My AM and PM routine are: TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener slurp - Niacid slurp - Hyaluid Murad - Nutrient-Charged Water Gel With this simple routine my skin has been making a huge turn around and my acne and some scars I have are really starting to heal up beautifully. For now I’ll continue to use this for the next month consistently to see how well my skin improves. Update: used the mask for a while and noticed no difference, the quality was just not there. Not to mention there’s was an issue with the unit turning off way before it was even done. I would not recommend this product at all. Save your money and buy a high quality led light therapy mask or hand tool instead.

This $4 hand soap smells just like Tatcha!
If you love Tatcha products, you’re probably down with their included fragrance that is, in my opinion, quite similar across many products. I haven’t tried every Tatcha product, but I’ve tried a lot of them. This is such a good find! So affordable, but smells so luxe! 💎This particular “bluebell” hand soap by Mrs. Meyer’s smells exactly like the slightly floral, herbaceous scent of Tatcha creams, the Rice Wash, The Deep Cleanse & more. #Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day - Bluebell liquid hand soap[products]#[FiveStars] $3.99/12.5 oz So, in addition to smelling very luxury & expensive, like Tatcha, this is also a really good liquid hand soap. 🪴Mrs. Meyer’s site describes the scent as “garden fresh blue-violet & delicate floral fragrances” 🫒It’s not as drying as other hand soaps I’ve used the $2-$4 price range, thanks to olive oil & aloe. (Full ingredients in the slides) 🦋It only contains natural fragrances, & is free of Phthalates & Parabens. No dyes or artificial colors & it’s not tested on animals! No MEA or DEA. This brand is pretty easy to find, I know it’s often at Target!

Brand Spotlight: BLISS
Bliss is one of my favorite affordable drugstore clean and cruelty free brand. They are easily accessible, you find them at: Ulta, CVS, Target and Bliss.com, etc. I can’t help but love everything that I’ve tried from them. Here are current favorites and must haves: Left to right: bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum A mixture between toner and serum this is an awesome toner that is alcohol free, vegan, and packed with skin calming and pore refining ingredients : BHA, niacinamide, zinc and cica. bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer My day/ night cream depending on my mood and what serums I’m using. Sinks in the skin well and has great texture. bliss - Drench & Quench Moisturizer This is comparable to TATCHA - The Water Cream very lightweight but pack a lot of moisture. It leaves my skin feeling a bit tacky which I love as a base before my primer and make up. bliss - Rose Gold Rescue Moisturizer All times favorite basic moisturizer for day and night. I usually use this when either my skin has a break out and I have to go back to basics or when I’m using retinol or some other harsh serums. bliss - Renew & Smooth Night Serum If you are new to glycolic acids or AHAs this is a great beginner’s choice. For me I thought this quite a gentle formula... I didn’t feel any discomfort or irritation. bliss - Fabulips Lip Scrub This is my first lip scrub... so I don’t know if it’s good or not. It’s not bad. It’s moisturizing, exfoliating and didn’t taste bad. 😋 Clean product: 🌱No Parabens 🌱No Alcohol 🌱No Sulfates 🌱No Nuts 🌱No Oils 🌱No Silicones 🐰Cruelty Free 🐰 Vegan Have you tried any of their product? Tell me your favorites below. Thank you. Be Kind, Stay Beautiful

Tatcha Ritual 🧖🏻‍♀️✨
Tatcha Ritual 🧖🏻‍♀️✨
If you’ve ever been interested in Japanese beauty, Tatcha is a luxury brand you definitely need to check out. In December, my skin was at an all time low. I have very dry skin, so living in southern california and working as a lifeguard doesn’t help. I had an uneven tone, patchy and flaky skin, cystic breakouts, and dark circles. Within a week of using Tatcha my face changed for the better! My face has never been more smooth and hydrated, my wrinkles went away significantly and my tone is finally starting to even out! I found that my previous face wash was over stripping my skin and my moisturizer just wasn’t up to par for my skin. I genuinely love Tatcha and I’m so happy I splurged. TATCHA - Pure One Step Camellia Oil Cleanser The Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil is a light weight oil that turns into a milky water once washed off. It’s extremely gentle on the skin and does a great job at getting off all the leftover makeup. I’ve never been a huge fan of cleansing oils but this one really stands above the rest. There’s no leftover residue, just a clean face TATCHA - The Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder This facial polish has lasted me so long, I’ve had it since January 2020 and I still have a little less than half a container left. The Rice Polish is a powder that turns into a soft foamy exfoliant. you only need a dime size of it to polish your entire face and neck. It leaves your skin so soft without being too harsh on it. the best thing about it is that Tacha has multiple versions of the rice polish to fit your specific skin type! TATCHA - The Essence Plumping Skin Softener The Essence was something I hesitated buying for a while, only because of its steep price point ($95) I ended up purchasing it in Tatcha’s Dry Skin Ritual set, which has both of my favorite cleansers, The Dewy Skin Cream, and The Essence. I was so excited to try it, and i wasn’t disappointed. My skin felt so... plump! The hydration was definitely noticed and my skin is so soft! The only reason i knocked off the star was because of the price and as amazing as i think it is, I know that a couple face masks and a few serums could easily achieve the same amount of softness. The Essence also claims to help amplify the properties of other skincare items by helping the skin draw it in deeper, I don’t think it’s noticeable at first but after a while of continued use I am starting to see a difference with my other items! TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream Hands down my favorite moisturizer for my dry skin. I don’t know how else to say it! It’s a creamy, thick, moisturizer that leaves me feeling good even when I wake up, with other moisturizers i find myself reapplying throughout the day and especially when I wake up. With The Dewy Skin Cream, I don’t have to. I do admit i have to use more than the recommended pea sized amount, but it still feels amazing

Invest in good skin care produ
Invest in good skin care products! AsLA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 50 AOX Daily Antioxidant Face Serum SPF 50 August 06, 2020 Excellent Product Should be more than 5 Stars!! This serum + sunscreen (great bonus!!) goes on smooth and stays nice feeling all day. If my skin, especially around my eyes, starts to feel dry during the day I will lightly pat this around my lower eyes. Stays moist and smooth feeling all day. Love this product! Won't be without it.LA ROCHE-POSAY - Pigmentclar Brightening Deep Cleanser I just picked up this foaming brightening cream and so far so good. I feel with age my skin has definitely lost a lot of its luster. So I’m always happy to try creams/serums- whatever it may be- that help with uneven skin tone. With the first washing my skin already feels softer. If you like cleaning creams or any kind of creams for the matter that are sudsy, then this product is for you.LA ROCHE-POSAY - Pure Vitamin C Face Serum I LOVE this product- I use it primarily on my upper lip line area, both in the morning and evening, and at age 45 VICHY - LiftActiv Serum 10 Supreme With Hyaluronic Acid I have no visible lip lines. The skin on upper lip is very thin, like under eyes, so I decided years ago to use a great eye cream with anti-aging ingredients on the upper lip line, and found this product to do what it actually professes to do, moisturize w/important vitamin c properties, to lessen likelihood of drying. I 100% recommend!clarisonic - Mia Prima Facial Cleansing & Pore Minimizing Skincare Device I love this facial brush!!! After buying a couple of cheap facial brushes, which all broke I finally decided to invest in the best and am so glad that I did. As a SAHM it’s hard to find time for myself and using this brush is like a little spa day. It is gentle enough that I know it’s not damaging my skin but it’s strong enough because my skin feels and looks incredibly clean after I use it. I have oily skin with large pores and my nose/chin area tend to break out. It was easy to sync the facial brush to the Clarisonic app and create a personalized skin care routine. I use the MIA twice a day and it has made a huge difference. I am so excited to buy additional brushes and attachments to make my at home spa day even better. While the cost of the facial brush, additional brushes and attachments are a little high they are absolutely worth it. I am beyond excited to see what my skin looks like after using this brush for over a year. If your on the fence about this brush I highly suggest buying it, you and your skin will love it!MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Cucumber and Green Tea I love this spray ! I personally think it's a dupe to the tatcha spray probably even better. I have dry skin and let's just say I spray this after moisturizing/face priming literally locks in the moisture. The best quick fix :)

Glow Baby Glow
Glow Baby Glow
A glow is what we all crave and strive for am I right? We want our skin to be bouncy, health, bright and glowing and I have four products that help with that! I have dry dehydrated skin that constantly looks dull, so I crave that glow and always work towards it. First of all, a glow is achieved with exfoliation. There are many different ways but I believe gentle exfoliation and chemical exfoliation is the key. I discovered this cleanser by Kopari by chance and it’s literally called a glow cleanser! It works by gently eating away at dead skin on the surface with pineapple and papaya enzymes to reveal baby smooth, clear and new skin. This skin will always look it’s best. KOPARI - Tropical Glow Cleanser Next would be vitamin C. This powerful antioxidant ingredient is skin loving in that it will brighten the complexion, tighten and firm, and correct or lighten any dark spots or imperfections like acne scars. I have dark marks from post acne and religiously use my vitamin C from Skinceuticals in the morning to lighten these spots and even my skin tone. An even skin tone will always shine and glow more than skin with marks. This serum is literally the best of the best and the vitamin e and ferulic acid work to help stabilize and boost the effects of the powerhouse c. SKINCEUTICALS - C E Ferulic With 15% L-Ascorbic Acid Vitamin C Serum Niacinamide is an easy way to achieve glow. It reduces pore size by helping control oil production which can make the pores look bigger and when you see large pores, you’re seeing dullness instead of healthy skin. So this is essential. Caudalie nailed it out of the park with this beautiful cream! CAUDALIE - Vinoperfect Brightening Moisturizer with Niacinamide Lastly I believe in oil cleansing! Clean skin is healthy skin! Oil cleansing helps break up makeup, sunscreen, gunky oil and other impurities from the day to reveal a nourished happy skin!! It can also help get rid of the excess oil that can block pores and cause pimples and clogs. Clear skin glows!! I love Kopari since it’s a lightweight silky oil that smells of vanilla and rinses away in a milky substance. KOPARI - Coconut Cleansing Oil I hope you try at least one of these ingredients to help achieve your glow ✨

My Secret to Hydrated and Glowing Skin 🌟
My Secret to Hydrated and Glowing Skin 🌟
So what’s the secret 🤫? 😱 my daytime routine is completely different from my nighttime routine! Okay, it’s not really a secret. But I have a few am and pm essentials! Skin cells regenerate while we sleep 💤 so it’s important to incorporate targeted products at different times of the day. 🌟Morning product line up: ▪️I start with a gentle cleanser like the Eminence Mangosteen Daily Resurfacing Cleanser. It smells like mango 🥭 and doesn’t strip my skin of natural oils. ▪️A spritz of MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater gives me an extra boost of moisture and glow ✨ ▪️I am obsessed with the BABOR - Collagen Cream it is a miracle anti-aging cream that melts into my skin. It’s packed with skin firming peptides and hyaluronic acid. It’s on the pricier side but totally worth it! ▪️I top off my morning glow up with COOLA - Mineral Face SPF30 Matte Cucumber We mustn’t ever skip out on SPF. I love this formula because it’s matte and doesn’t cause streaky foundation. 🌙 Nighttime wind down: ▪️To wash away the day, I love the Doctor Babor Cleansing Foam. It removes dirt, makeup and preps my skin for major moisture intake. ▪️ For pesky makeup I can’t remove with my cleanser, I use REVITALASH COSMETICS - Micellar Water Lash Wash for stubborn liner and mascara. It’s not oily and lash extension safe. ▪️ 1-2x a week I use the DERMA•E - Overnight Peel . It brightens with non-abrasive AHAs and exfoliates while I sleep. I wake up with brighter, firmer skin. This one is a MUST-HAVE. If I don’t do a peel... ▪️I use a targeted eye cream, serum and the Doctor Babor Pro EGF & Collagen Cream before sleepy time. This moisturizer is fragrance free and supports the skin’s own natural rejuvenation process with polypeptides and epidermal growth factors.

ESK SKINCARE: BRAND REVIEW!
ESK SKINCARE: BRAND REVIEW!
We all have those products we love but can’t afford to buy them all of the time because they are so expensive! ESK products yield amazing results but the price tag OMG! These are my “treat-yo-self” skincare products. I have hyperpigmentation so I like their “pigmented” kit. All of their products have anti-aging properties but this kit also helps target pigmentation and age spots. It comes in 2 sizes travel size, which is pictured, that lasts 3-4 weeks ($154)and full sized which lasts 3-4 months ($310). These are the prices before shipping! The travel sized kit ends up being $234 to ship to NY. If you like a particular product you are able to buy them individually just the but if you’re buying multiple it makes more sense to buy the kits. Each kit comes with 4-6 products. Each product in the travel sized kit is about .5 ounces and the full sized products are about 1.76 ounces. Calming Cleanse(0): this cleansing lotion is made with aloe and natural oils that help to cleanse and soothe your skin. This was a gift that came with my kit. It doesn’t do much for me. It does soften my skin but i feel like the rest of their products also have that effect this is the only product from them I could probably live without Hydroxy Cleanser (1): this is a clear liquid cleanser that lathers when you rub it in. It is an active exfoliant and really does reduce the appearance of my pores. It is super gentle on my skin. Reverse “C” Serum (2): this is an oil based serum that warms your skin when you rub it in. It is full of vitamin C to help with the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles and fine lines. If you have oily skin they have a liter version of this product that won’t make your skin look greasy. This one is more for people with normal to dry skin. It gives your skin a dewy glow Zinc Shade (3): this is a moisturizer made with zinc. It has SPF15 to help protect your skin from sun damage (aging and irritation). It hydrates my skin without making me look too oily Enlighten (L): i love this product. It is a peach colored lotion that makes my skin look brighter and helps to even out my skin tone. It really speeds up the fading of my scars. Like in the first week you notice a difference! Smooth Serum (4): this is an active exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin making it look brighter. It is a clear liquid that absorbs quickly into your skin and doesn’t leave your skin feeling sticky. Ultimate A: this is a yellow colored cream packed with vitamins A and B. It helps smooth out texture and tone skin Since I’ve been using all of these products I’ve seen a difference in the appearance of my pores, my skin doesn’t have any more dry patches, my skin looks brighter and my dark spots have faded. All of the products are super gentle on the skin. Unfortunately due to the price I don’t purchase as much as I’d like.
