Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm
This is targeted to be the first step of your double cleansing routine. This is cruelty free and vegan and is meant to melt away all skincare
and makeup applied throughout the day. This is formulated with one of my favorite ingredients, sea buckthorn. Great for all skin types.
The texture is soft and balmy. Simply scoop some of the product on to your hands and massage into your face. After massaging well, rinse off and follow up with a second cleanser.
Unlike other balms out there, this completely removed all my makeup including my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. I love the light scent & how effective it is in removing makeup, sunscreen and the 1,400 layers of essence I apply daily.
This balm leaves my skin feeling nourished. I almost feel like I don't need that 2nd cleanse but I know better so I follow up with a second cleanser.
This costs $38.00 dollars and I have deducted one star simply because of the price as there
are other similar products out there for a fraction of the price. Regardless of the price, I would
still recommend this because it works so well! I’ve been using this for 7 months and will repurchase.

My Favorite Korean Skincare Products
🇰🇷 Korean Skincare has been gaining traction in the U.S. over the last several years and rightfully so. Korean skincare is typically affordable, effective, focused on hydration and sun protection, and several years ahead of the U.S. in trending ingredients. My combo dry skin LOVES the focus on hydration and I personally really enjoy a longer multi step k beauty routine. I typically et my k beauty products on YesStyle, Wishtrend, Amazon, or Sephora if it’s something like Laneige or Glow a Recipe. Here’s some of my favorite K Beauty products I currently have on rotation:
(From top left to bottom right)
🇰🇷 Dr. Jart Ceramidin Cream: A very rich, barrier replenishing moisturizer for when my skin is dry or irritated.
🇰🇷 Glow Recipe Plum Plump Serum: An antioxidant rich gel texture hyaluronic serum. I use this daily.
🇰🇷 Mauve Fantastic Ever Cool Kids Never Sleep Cream: A water cream with some loud 80s packaging that I am LIVING FOR. This is a good dupe for the Tatcha Water Cream.
🇰🇷 Then I Met You Living Cleansing Balm: A barrier replenishing cleansing balm rich in sea buckthorn oil.
🇰🇷 Dear Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Cream: A cream gel consistency moisturizer with blue tansy. Great for calming any inflammation.
🇰🇷 Krave Oat So Simple Water Cream: A very lightweight water cream with soothing oats.
🇰🇷 Purito Centella Green Level Safe Sun: Get 👏🏻 Hip 👏🏻 To 👏🏻 This 👏🏻 Sunscreen 👏🏻 it’s like $8 and completely invisible and weightless. This is like my fourth bottle.
🇰🇷 Then I Met You Soothing Tea Cleansing Gel: An antioxidant rich mildly exfoliating gel cleanser. I feel very so so about this. It’s fine but I wouldn’t buy again.
🇰🇷 Laneige Cream Skin Toner: A milky hydrating toner with meadow foam seed oil.
🇰🇷 Dear Klairs Supple Preparation Toner: An incredibly hydrating and plumping watery gel consistency toner.
🇰🇷 Amore Pacific Treatment Enzyme Peel: A richly foaming powder enzyme cleanser gentle enough for every day use.

Double Cleanse
I’ve said it once + I’ll say it again; I cannot stress the importance of practicing a PM double cleanse within your skin regimen. Imagine shampooing your hair without conditioning or cleansing hard floors, without vacuuming first. The FIRST cleanse is meant to remove sunscreen, makeup, debris, bacteria, + environmental toxins. The SECOND cleanse is meant to cleanse your OWN skin. I’ve been using the cleansing duo by thenimetyou on non-exfoliation nights. The cleansing balm feels like pure butter, consisting of fatty acids from sea buckthorn oil, antioxidants from vitamin e, + skin brightening persimmon extract, that aids in sebum regulation. I massage this into my entire face + drench a micro-fiber towel with water. I then PRESS it into my face for 10 seconds to pull out any debri on the surface of my skin. While keeping my skin damp, I complete the second cleanse with the Tea Cleansing Gel. It smells amazing containing (my favorite) healing centella asiatica, skin-toning licorice root, rice ferment filtrate for enzymatic exfoliation + amino acid nourishment. The second cleanse allows for purification + preparation for your PM product absorption. #cheriecreator Then I met you - The Cleansing Duo ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀

Then I Met You Balm and Gel Cleansers
Then I Met You is one of the K-Beauty brands I have been the most impressed with this year. Their cleansing duo (Then I met you - The Cleansing Duo ) is designed to be an experience for all the senses and to cleanse gently and thoroughly. The balm has a lovely creamy texture and the gel truly does have a gel-like texture which I am in love with. Both have a beautiful orange color from seaberry and persimmon. They both have unique but lovely scents.
I have been double cleansing for about six months now and it has made such a difference for my skin. This set is specifically designed to be used together, and it works beautifully for my skin. It feels so gentle yet removes all my makeup and oil without stripping. I also love the experience of it and look forward to cleansing with it each time. I have absolutely no complaints about these products and hope to try their two latest products soon.
I would absolutely recommend this duo. There is nothing I dislike about them and think they are better than many other alternatives. The one thing that is difficult is the price: it costs $68 for the duo, $38 for the balm, and $36 for the gel. If you can only get one I suggest the gel as it is the more unique of the two.

Worth it? ✨Makeup remover
Givenchy Le Soin Noir Demaquillant Makeup Remover
VS
Glow Recipe Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser
Does givenchy makeup remover worth such a high price? Let's see the comparison of this two products.
✅Price
$90 VS $34
Price of givenchy is the double of Glow Recipe.
✅Texture & Scent
Both of them are gel texture. (see 2nd pic)
The texture of Givenchy is very easy to extend/apply. It has an unusual color - black. This color is rare to see in beauty products. The scent of it is so good and still unusual. It smells like perfume but not that strong.
Glow Recipe has a jelly like texture and feels a bit "sticky" after blending. I kinda like this texture. The scent of it is blueberry. Compared to Givenchy, it smells more playful.
✅My experience
I've been using Givenchy makeup remover for one and half years. It's moisturizing, never makes me feel striped. After using, my skin feels supple, soft and dewy. It's very gentle, safe for sensitive skin. But still makes me feel clean. What I like the best, is the scent. It's so good. I cannot describe what it smells like. I would say, go try it. You'll love it.
Glow Recipe cleanser is my new love, as the brand image is very cute and the price is affordable. I always like to try new stuff. It's not as gentle as the Givenchy one. But it works well. I will say it's safe for sensitive skin as well. As it's clean at Sephora, which is formulated without a list of over 50 ingredients. It works on cleaning my pores and cleans my makeup well.
I will use Givenchy makeup remover on whole face including eye area. For the Glow Recipe one, I will avoid eye area when using it. My eyes get a bit irritated.
✅My thought
Both of the products worth the price.
If you have an adequate budget, definitely go with Givenchy noir makeup remover. It won't let you down. If not, Glow Recipe is a good choice.

My true love 💕💕💕 I’ve yet to find a cleanser that is gentler and more enjoyable to use than this one. My face always feels amazing after using it and I’ll never not have this in my skincare collection! It’s also been perfect for the weather in Southern Utah - my face has never been drier and I would hate to use a cleanser that completely strips me of my oils!!! So glad I brought this baby with me cuz it never makes my skin feel tight✨
YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE-Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser
FACT: There is no such thing as too many cleansers. Some days I need to double cleanse. Some days my skin is like "let's just take it easy" and we only use a light cleanser. Sometimes an exfoliating cleanser is just the ticket. For me, it's important to be able to adapt to what my skin needs.
I find if I wash it too much, I'll break out. If I forget to wash it, I'll break out. It's a delicate balance. I worked the other day until 4 am (be nice to retail workers, we work hard) and I got home and STILL did my skincare routine, because break outs ain't worth it.
Here's my top cleansers:
Farmacy Green Clean is the legit best for double cleansing. Use this stuff to get the makeup and gunk off your face before a good deep cleanse.
Laneige Moisturizing Foam Cleanser is great for really getting my pores clean. It leaves my skin feeling a little tight, but it's great for when I'm about to GO IN on my serums.
FARMACY-Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm
AMAZING
This balm would forever change my life. It works wonders and smells so good. It also takes of makeup, especially waterproof. Even though it has a weird texture it’s very moisturizing. It’s definitely pricey at the cost of $74 but It’s worth every penny.

This cult favorite oil cleanser just got an upgrade — new packaging and formula + now comes in two sizes (the original size of 100mL and a jumbo-sized version of 180mL)
This product has a pH level of 6.1. The mineral oils from the previous formulation has been replaced with natural ester oil, the BHT is gone and vitamin E acitate (which is skin friendly!) is in it’s place. Has a scent that is naturally derived from green tea to provide a fresh rose scent. The texture is smoother than ever with a higher melting point.
