It can be hard finding the right face sunscreen. There are SO many out there! Well let me tell you about PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+
What is it? - A water-based sunscreen formulated with Centella extracts that help protect your skin from UV rays and harmful environments without stickiness or white residue left on the skin. It does not contain any essential oils or artificial fragrance, making it suitable for sensitive skin types. It uses SPF50+ PA++++ and photo-stable UV filter to provide soft yet powerful protection from ultraviolet rays. Is it safe for sensitive skin? - Purito excludes all the components of most common chemical UV screens that aggravate acne and irritate sensitive skin, such as Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, 2-methylbenzylidene camphor, Oxybenzone, and Abobenzone. Instead, they exclusively use EWG Green Level Grades 1 and 2 ingredients, making sure the product is suitable for all skin types. How does it work? - Unlike other sunscreens that form a physical layer to ensure UV protection, this product is absorbed into the skin where it transforms UV rays into harmless heat, so you don’t feel it on your face. Moreover, with its 70% moisture base and 4 different types of essences, it works like a moisturizing cream, making it even easier to apply natural makeup. What’s in it? - This product contains Hyaluronic acid that helps retain over 1,000 times its weight in water within the skin cells, as well as Centella asiatica extract that restores the oil/moisture balance of the skin and helps the formation of collagen which gives the skin its elasticity. In other words, it has all the necessary ingredients to keep your skin healthy and well moisturized. My review- - I purchased this product after seeing Skincare by Hyram and Whatsonvisface recommend it! I had been using Rodan and Field’s Soothe Sunscreen, but wanted something that did not sit on the skin, yet still provided hydration. I am treating my acne with clindamycin and tretinoin so I needed a sunscreen that hydrates and soothes my skin, while not clogging my pores. This sunscreen does exactly that! It rubs onto my skin so easily. It’s the perfect consistency, not too thin but not too thick. It provides hydration and protection, without being sticky or sitting on the skin. The lack of essential oils/fragrances, plus the addition of centella, means it’s non-irritating. It also contains niacinamide, which is perfect for acne-prone skin! Since I have dry skin, I use it in addition to my moisturizer, but I think if you have oily skin you could just use the sunscreen since it’s so hydrating!

Recommendations on sunscreens for dark skin tones by Hyram
Hyram is a YouTube content creator and social media influencer who is recognized for his passion for skincare. His videos featured product recommendations, cleaning techniques, and general dermatological information. His new video about best sunscreens for dark skin tones gets lowts of views. I guess as summer comes, sunscreens is a must, especially for those who have dark skin tones like me. Two types of sunscreens Mineral sunscreens(Inorganic) Mineral sunscreens have a white cast and create a mirror on the surface of skin to reflect sunlight so that you will not get damage. Chemical sunscreens(Organic) Chemical sunscreens are clear and include a bunch of different ingredients. Hyram does not recommend USA chemical sunscreens for the following reasons: Some recommendations on mineral sunscreens and innovative chemical sunscreens that are not from the USA: FIRST AID BEAUTY - Weightless Liquid Mineral SPF 30 Lightweight Matte finish Color tint Good for oily/greasy skin PURITO - Comfy Water Sun Block Main ingredient: zinc oxide Absorbs quickly Invisible BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 PA +++ Less irritation than normal chemical sunscreens Eco-friendly No white cast PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ Soothing redness and sensitivity Non-sticky and hydrating Fragrance free Krave - The Beet Shield No white cast Good for dry skin Leaves an intense glow dear, klairs - Soft Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA ++++ Good for oily skin Lightweigh gel texture Face sunscreen

The Perfect Daily SPF.....with 1 Minor Flaw
As a recent graduate of my 20’s, I finally started noticing my first true signs of aging this year. And truly, I probably could have pushed that back further had I ever been a faithful user of sunscreen! Oops....well, lesson learned. This was a recent addition to my routine (because ya know....sun damage) and I was nervous because most foundations and BB/CC creams with SPF break me out. But the reviews and price of $15 on Amazon spoke for themselves. The 👍🏼: This product goes on super light without even the slightest bit of white cast. It sits comfortably and smoothly under makeup and absorbs well over my moisturizer. The product goes a long way and the packaging has a control tip that allows you to take out a small amount at a time. This is also the first sunscreen I’ve used that did not cause me to break out! My ONLY 👎🏼: this is not even remotely sweat-proof. I made the mistake of applying this before doing yard work in the heat and within a few seconds, I could feel it beading on my upper lip, where I don’t usually sweat. A few minutes later, my face was beaded everywhere. However, it works great as a daily sunscreen. For times you know you’re going to sweat, I suggest Dr. Jart+ - Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30 which melts into the skin while concealing redness. I’m proud to say I’m finally a dedicated sunscreen user at the ripe ole age of 30. Youngins, take my advice: don’t skip this step!

My mom and I absolutely adore this sunscreen! She has extremely sensitive skin and this sunscreen feels light on the skin and it is one of few that does not irritate her skin. I on the other hand have very acne prone skin and this sunscreen does not cause me any problems with my complexion. I would most definitely recommend this product for those who have sensitive skin. It is super light weight and can even be layered under makeup, which is a life saver!! However, it does make my skin look oily. But considering all the pros of this sunscreen the shine isn’t that big of a deal to me. I would rate this sunscreen a 5/5 since I’ve been using it for years now! It is $50 which is a little pricey but considering the quality of this product it is worth the money 100%!

PRODUCT: supergoop Smooth & Po
PRODUCT: supergoop Smooth & Poreless Mineral Matte Sunscreen (SPF 40) STATUS: Love it 💙 PRICE: $38 USD SIZE: 45 mL (Full Size) WHERE: Sephora (USA) . I’ve been eyeing Smooth and Poreless for a while now and finally got to pick it up on a trip to NYC. It contains Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide as the active ingredients and provides a (mineral) SPF 40 with broad spectrum protection. . It is lightly tinted, glides on silky smooth, blends well and, as the name suggests, has a matte finish. Although the colour is tad darker than I am, it is super sheer and rubs in to match my skin tone well enough. It’s great for those no-makeup makeup days. . It does contain silicones so (IMO) it applies a lot like a primer. I imagine that this would layer nicely under makeup but I’m yet to test that out. For me, it works wonderfully over DrunkElephant Protini. When it comes time to re-apply, it also layers well over itself (read: doesn’t pill) but the second layer isn’t quite as sheer so it gets just a little too dark for me. . I cannot get away with using this every day. Similar to primers, I’ve noticed that continued use causes me to break out but it is the perfect “patio” sunscreen ie. when I want just a hint of coverage (plus the visual pore blurring, line softening benefits of silicone) without bothering with an actual primer or foundation. . I already have a full size in my stash but love this little mini for on the go. Smooth & Poreless is a definite win for me!

I FINALLY found the perfect sunscreen!
I FINALLY found the perfect sunscreen!
Product: This is a hypoallergenic, inorganic mineral sunscreen with 11.50% Zinc Oxide (very important ingredient in sunscreen) that provides protection from UVA+UVB rays. It contains SPF 50+, is waterproof, and reef-safe. This product is free of parabens, formaldehydes, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, sulfates SLS & SLES, synthetic fragrance (less than 1%), triclocarban, and triclosan. Skin Type: Normal, Combination, and Oily My thoughts: I have been searching high and low for the perfect sunscreen for my sensitive skin and I finally found it! This sunscreen is thorough but weightless and doesn’t leave a white cast like most other sunscreens. It also doesn’t clog my pores and break me out like most other sunscreens. I love that the formula is reef-safe and works for all skin types, even babies! It has a mild citrus smell that is quite refreshing, not strong at all. It’s also perfect to wear under makeup because it’s weightless and gives a hydrated matte finish. I highly recommend it!

Missha- Safe Block Sebum Zero Sunscreen
Missha- Safe Block Sebum Zero Sunscreen
This product is meant to provide sun protection as well as be mattifying and oil-controlling for us oily persons. The target concerns of the product is UV protection and sebum control. This product is water proof and sweat resistant and is free of alcohol, dyes, mineral oil, gluten and parabens! All good stuff. Texture wise, it is creamy and thicker then other face sun screens I have tried but it sinks nicely into the skin. One warning though for darker skin folks is that I can tell this is the kind of sunscreen that would give you a grey/purple cast on the skin so I wouldn’t recommend this for people of a darker complexion who want to wear it alone and not under makeup. I bought this sunscreen because I read good reviews on it online and I have always preferred Korean face sunscreens over American face sunscreens because they don’t break me out. I was excited when I saw this product was mattifying. I have used it for three days now and I love it. My skin hasn’t broken out, it has a high SPF (50) and my skin is less oily at the end of the day. I think the product is super worth it; it does it’s job, has good ingredients and is an affordable price. I got it for $13.79 off of target.com but you can also buy it on amazon. I would recommend it for other oily skin people but I, again, would not recommend it for people with a darker complexion who want to wear the sunscreen alone and not under foundation. This product has earned 5 stars from me!

Since it’s marketed as great for acne prone skin, I thought I wouldn’t have any issue with this sunscreen. Unfortunately, it caused my skin bad reaction. I have used it twice so far, and in both times it made my face soo red and irritated that I ended up removing it after few hours. It leaves me a tacky feeling and a very shiny finish too. I thought I might have mixed it with a wrong ingredient at first try so I wore it alone the following day and still had the same reaction. I still can’t figure it out - I feel really disappointed. ⁣ ⁣ Does anyone else have the same experience? ⁣ Perhaps it’s just my skin being oversensitive these days? 🤔⁣ I’d probably still give this another try after a while.⁣ ⁣ _________________________⁣ ⁣
