Once upon a starry night 🌌

Together, I think these colors are the perfect gradient for a Fall-themed striped shirt. If you like any of the colors you see here, here’s a break down on each ~ ILNP BOUTIQUE COSMETICS - Holographic Nail Polish ILNP is known for making super glittery, unique polish colors. I adore this shade because when the light hits, you see blue, green, red, and gold flecks of glitter. But in dimmer lights, the gold is more noticeable. This makes it look elegant or party-esque depending where you go. My only complaint is I wish the color was a little more opaque. And it takes a steady hand to apply it evenly. It took 4 thin coats to get it to full opacity. Still, it dries drown reasonably quick- about 6 minutes per coat. And what makes it stand out from other nail polish is how s h i n y it is without a top coat. I wonder if that’s why they made the color almost -jelly like: to emphasize the shine. I got it for $10.00 on Amazon. That’s the same rate as popular brands like OPI and Essie- except you get more beauty and uniqueness for your buck. It wore on me for 5 days before minor chipping but I HIGHLY recommend this brand. 🌹 Wear this to go out at night or for a Euphoria watch party. essie - Expressie Quick-Dry Nail Polish in the shade Taxi Hopping. I love this color. It’s like... an alien mustard. But it’s super flattering~ neither too bright nor too muted for my neutral-toned skin. This one is opaque in about 3 coats. At 2, you can still see the white ends of your nail. But the point of this line- Called “Expressie-“- is that is dries fast. Each coat was dry within 2 minutes. It wasn’t exceptionally shiny, but it was nothing a good top coat couldn’t fix. It wore for 5 days before I saw some shrinkage at the tips. It wasn’t patchy at ALL- which can be hard to pull off with unique colors like this. I got it for $9.00 at Bed Bath & Beyond. It comes with 0.33 oz, whereas most of Essie’s polishes come with 0.46 for the same price. But hey, the quick dry time and interesting colors more than make up for it to me. 🌹 Wear this for Halloween or to dress like an E-girl. essie - Longwear Nail Polish in Bubbles Only. Dark wine red is my FAVORITE nail polish color. This one was even and opaque on 1 coat. Though I did notice it has a slight pinky look to it when applied. It had a standard dry time similar to ILNP’s. The texture felt like liquid even though it’s a gel. I still need to wear it longer to see how well it puts up with daily duties! I got it for $11.50 at Ulta, and it comes with 0.46 oz like Essie’s regular line. You’ll love this polish if you’re looking for a trusty dark red that’s easy to work with. 🌹 Wear this... whenever and where ever. Red just has confident energy where ever it goes.
