Nightly routine saved my Dry skin 🌙🌙
These have saved my skin. These are great for my sensitive skin and has helped prevent dry flaky patches The glossier milky jelly cleanser feels amazing on the skin. It doesn’t foam up which is great since it feels like a moisturizer. Glossier. - Milky Jelly Cleanser conditioning face wash After washing my face I love using the ordinary hyaluronic acid, it helps keep my skin moist. When you first apply it it soaks into your skin quick so make sure you follow with moisturizer immediately. Pro tip✨✨: make sure you pat it into your skin instead of rubbing it in. It prevents wrinkles and goes into the skin evenly. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I follow with the kiehls ultra facial cream and it’s my holy grail. On initial application it feels amazing. It’s so soft and it’s not super heavy or thick. I’m almost out of this and I will definitely buy another one. Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cream I apply the drunk elephant f-balm as my last step for the night and it locks all the moisture in without my face looking greasy. It’s my holy grail. DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask Lips need some loving too so I love using the glossier balm dot calm in mint. It feels amazing and the scent is very delicious. I am obsessed with mint scents. Glossier. - Balm Dotcom Also make sure you drink lots of water everyday, it’s amazing for your skin and also for your health. Yes everyone says you should do it but once I make the switch to drinking more water everyday I definitely see the difference. It takes time so you gotta do it all your life.
My Favourite Hydration/Moisture Products
Hydration and moisture are so, so important! I had the most oily skin for years and it never occurred to me to use a cream- so when I found my oil production subsiding a bit after introducing a hydration serum and moisturizer, I was amazed. Excess oil production can be the skin trying to moisturize itself via sebum. Here are my rec’s: PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Booster contains such a variety of humectants that I consider it a hydrating serum. Hydrating while also balancing oil production, this is amazing for every skin type. stratia - Liquid Gold is packed with emollients and some humectants, making it a good serum for dry skin and the perfect moisturizer for oily skin. DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum helps to reduce oil production but primarily gives skin the hydration it craves. This is a good serum for all skin types but lacks the emollients to be a moisturizer. DRUNK ELEPHANT - F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Mask is the perfect cream to use after an acid if your skin is sensitive. It’d be a great moisturizer (thanks to squalane) for oily skin and is a nice add-on for dry skin. DRUNK ELEPHANT - Lala Retro Whipped Moisturizer with Ceramides worked for my skin when I was an oil slick and it saves my flaky face when my eczema goes Sahara desert. This fluffy moisturizer is perfect for all skin types, though dry skin in the winter may need to add an oil. The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 is a hydrating serum that is just what dehydrated and/or oily skin needs- however I’d caution users that hyaluronic acid can be drying if you live in an arid environment. It also doesn’t have the most elegant texture, so give it an extra minute to soak in! PAULA'S CHOICE - Probiotic Nutrient Moisturizer moisturizes without shine, managing to be rich yet soaking in very quickly. It may be a bit too light for dry skin in the PM but oily/combo skin will love it. PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum If you have sensitive, combination, and/or dry skin, buy this. It contains emollients, humectants, and is perfect for soothing skin. Oily skin will also likely enjoy this serum for its surprising lightness, but in my experience it is too light to be used as a moisturizer.
I really enjoyed doing this look. The eyeliner is so pigmented and lasted a long time. The eyeshadows blend so easily. The nyx butter gloss goes on very nice on the lips. I mixed it with a ysl lip balm that was so pigmented. These wispies are so nice to go out with. It took me a while to put them on but they look amazing. Foundation is really dewy but covers medium for me. Anastasia is always what i use for my brows making easy to blend and draw in without fading. I am almost finished with my wonder stick it blends so good. Juno sponge blends without making my face too cakey. Joah clear gel makes my brows last longer.
Fenty Beauty Flyliner
Fenty Beauty FlyLiner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner “Cuz I’m Black” Love the point and pigment to this liquid liner! I have watery eyes and this liner does not move! For the longest I wore MAC eyeliners , but I found my new eyeliner in Fenty Beauty.

Smokey Eye Me Pls!
I’m a soft glam, super coverage kinda gal at ❤️ and a black or brown (if your feeling a less RAWR XD) is alyways a go-to. My favorite palette for achieving this look is the ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Soft Glam Eyeshadow Palette it has every shade you will need to achieve those perfect day to night looks, it’s beginner friendly, and a considering well priced palette for the shade quality. You can’t achieve the perfect smokey soft glam look without a good base and though some may feel primers are a scam, THIS primer is the REAL DEAL. The Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer is amazing! it tightens pores, and leaves the skin a more full coverage and blended overall look AND at Sephora they sell the travel sized for 13 bucks so you can try for yourself!
makeup in the military
🇺🇸 happy memorial day weekend! 🌊 explaination I’m an active duty service member in the Navy. Balancing femininity with the confines of a uniform can be pretty difficult at times. A lot of people question how much makeup I am allowed to wear and how/when. And I wear a full face! 🌊 so what can you wear? The general guidelines (lot of paraphrasing here) are that makeup must look natural looking, not be faddish, and not use overly bright colors/glitter. Special occasions do call for special looks, but I tend to wear the same products everyday. 🌊 what I do My goal is to make it look like I’m not wearing makeup even though I probably spent 30-40 minutes on my face that morning. I tend to skip eyeshadow to save time, especially with my hooded eyes. feel free to ask any questions! 🌊 My current daily makeup lineup Primer: Milk MAKEUP - Hydro Grip Primer Concealer: MAYBELLINE - SuperStay Better Skin Concealer Setting Powder: REVOLUTION - Conceal & Fix Setting Powder Blush: Milk MAKEUP - Lip + Cheek Bronzer: Milk MAKEUP - Matte Bronzer Brow Pencil ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Perfect Brow Pencil Brow Gel benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Setting Spray Urban Decay All Nighter Mascara Too Faced Damn Girl!

💫 brand review: the inkey list 1/2
The Inkey List has some of the best products I have ever tried and they are extraordinarily underrated. And that goes for both high end and “affordable” products. I feel like they don’t get the hype they deserve. I’ve only tried a few products from them, and some have completely transformed my skin. Others have not been the best or made a huge difference, but they weren’t necessarily “bad”. Again, I can only speak to what I’ve tried, and I definitely need to try more. They have so many different products to target different skin concerns for every person and their website is fantastic in helping build a skincare recipe specifically for your concerns. The brand itself is also super engaging with their consumers, i have spoken to their social media reps a few times with regards to product recommendations on Instagram and they have always been super helpful! Here are the products I have tried and how they performed for me: **DISCLAIMER: my skin is normal/combo with an oily t-zone and a few breakouts here and there. I get a lot of blackheads on my nose and chin and a few little bumps on my cheeks that I have not figured out what exactly they are but they are incredibly stubborn and don’t have a head so they can’t be popped. If I were to try to pop them, they turn into a pimple, so I’m still not sure what exactly they are** THE inkey LIST - Beta Hydroxy Acid this is the ONLY thing I have noticed that made a difference in those bumps I mentioned earlier. I can’t express to you how long I have tried to get rid of these bumps, how much research I have done and how many products I have tried to no avail. Until I met the BHA serum from the Inkey List. After about a week or so, I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin. It is formulated with salicylic acid that is strong enough to make a difference in my skin but is still a gentle exfoliation that did not cause any sort of bad reaction. I absolutely love this stuff and I will not allow myself to be without it. THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide the niacinamide serum is my newest product to try and just, wow. I alternate nights between using the BHA and Niacinamide serum and I can’t begin to tell you what a game changer this has been. I have noticed the overall clarity, texture, and appearance of my skin to be so much. It feels so hydrating when applied and has the most silky texture that feels luxurious. My skin has never felt or looked better since using this in conjunction with this serum. THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner this toner is SO gentle on my skin but makes it feel so refreshed and revitalized. I use it every night after my cleanser and before one of the two above serums and it just really makes my skin feel like all the makeup, dirt, and buildup of the day is really being removed from my pores but without stripping my skin. It really makes my skin feel so soft and I would recommend to everyone
Is it worth it?
I love this brand because it’s good quality for a affordable price at Sephora while also being vegan(not a deal breaker for me but I know it is for others) but this product.......no thanks THE inkey LIST - Polyhydroxy Acid (PHA) Gentle Exfoliating Toner I don’t know how to accurately explain how I rated it but it’s not terrible. There is no smell(that’s a plus), it’s watery and clear, it’s gentle which is the whole point but I don’t think it’s a good thing. I know things that tingle doesn’t equal “it works and will show improvement” but I feel like this isn’t doing anything for my skin. I bought this to help me with dark sports and hyperpigmentation but my skin looks the same. Not worse but not better.

FARMACY-HONEYMOON GLOW AHA Resurfacing Night Serum with Hydrating Honey + Gentle Flower Acids
MOISTURIZER WITH SPF
Superscreen is a moisturizer and sunscreen in one - like seriously, what more could you ask for?! This was my product go to in the summer and I am absolutely obsessed with it! It is extremely hydrating (perfect for my dry skin), provides the healthiest glow and protects you from the harmful rays of the sun + blue light (it contains SPF 40 - NO white cast)! I am not kidding when I say this stuff is amazeballs 😍 the texture is quite creamy but feels extremely lightweight on the skin and a little goes a long way. It smells like some kind of flower I’ve smelled before (not sure exactly which one) but it’s nothing too overwhelming. If you’re lazy and hate applying multiple products, then you need this in your life. Even if you’re not lazy, you still need this in your life. It’s just THAT good and I want everyone to give it a try 😂🤣 I think it’s affordable ($38 US/$54 CAD) because you literally kill two birds with one stone with this baby and it will also last you a looong time! 👌🏼Supergoop! - Superscreen Daily Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 40 PA+++

DRUNK ELEPHANT-B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum
While my skin is generally on the dry side of "normal", my t-zone can get decently oily, so I make sure to have mattifying (but non-drying) products in my routine: ▪️ I don't use any cleansers or toners to prevent oil, as most I've tried are stripping (which just causes the skin to produce extra oil), but the Tatcha satin skin mist contains clay that absorbs oil gently- I hope they make a mini of it soon because I always have it with me! ▪️ going off that, I make sure my skin doesn't end up dehydrated from the heat or air conditioning by applying light layers of moisture in my routine. Recently I've used the Jurlique rose moisture plus serum or Volition snow mushroom water serum daily and my skin has been pretty happy ▪️ made an exception from avoiding "oil-control" items when I tried the Belif hydra sebum control essence since I've yet to meet a belif product I didn't love, and sure enough it keeps excess oil at bay while still being hydrating ▪️ when it comes to moisturizer, I've found that a light gel cream like the Youth to the people superfood moisture cream under a bit of the Caudalie vinopure mattifying fluid keeps my skin balanced during the day, though the Erno laszlo hydra therapy gel cream has also worked really well recently ▪️ Supergoop makes most of my favorite sun protection products, and the mineral matte screen provides both SPF 40 coverage and a smooth base ▪️ on the rare occasion I do use a primer under my skin tint/bb cream, I turn to the Heir atelier demi-matte primer
