Empty: So Fresh, soy clean.
RIP to this cleanser. The fresh - Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash is a great “extra- gentle” cleanser made for all skin types. While I don’t have sensitive skin, I imagine it is a go-to for many sensitive-skinned people. It does say that it is good enough to remove everyday makeup and dirt without drying your skin. The amino-acid rich cleanser is meant to be massaged into a wet face and rinse off. (It is safe to use around your eyes.) When I used it: It is a really mild cleanser and was gentle enough for me to use in the morning. I didn’t like it when I needed to remove my makeup. It just didn’t get the deal done. If you wear light makeup, then it may be right up your alley. Recommend? 👍🏾 Clean at Sephora? ✔️ My product: 0.6 fl. oz./20 mL (free with points/in a set) Specs: 🌱 1.7 oz./50 mL for $15 🌱 5.1 oz./150 mL for $38

A clean, wintertime face cream
FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream is a rich, but not overly thick, moisturizer enriched with shea butter, colloidal oatmeal and allantoin to hydrate “dry, distressed skin” as well as eczema. It works well for people with fine lines, wrinkles and redness. Skin type: Dry, normal and combination. My thoughts: I got this in a gift set with four other FAB products. I really like this cream. It isn’t too thick, but it feels nourishing. It is also a clean beauty product so that is great to know right off the bat. I reckon the tub would be ideal if you want to have it in your bag. If you have eczema, then you should try this. (I just gave one of my friends a sample so she could try before she buys.) Recommend? Yes. Sizes: • 2 oz./56.7 g for $14 (comes in jar and tub) • 6 oz./170 g for $34 (comes in several scents) • 8 oz./226 g for $42 Clean at Sephora? ✔️

🗣I ❤️ clean beauty; I hate the distrust I have
Thank you to Cherie for allowing us to discuss this important topic. I felt the best way to get my opinion across was to do a video, but I also wanted to flesh stuff out in words as well. In the United States, the Cosmetics & U.S. Law DOES NOT require cosmetic products and ingredients — other than COLOR ADDITIVES — to have FDA approval to be marketed, according to FDA.gov. Isn’t that crazy?! 🥜 In fact, the FDA website said the companies and individuals who MANUFACTURE/MARKET the products “have a legal responsibility to ensure the safety of their products.” WHAT?! So we should just pray they care? “Nike,” you say with hope in your heart, “what if a product needs to be recalled? Surely, they will step in then?” LOL! You sweet summer child. NOPE. (I am actually a summer child so don’t get upset.) The companies have to voluntarily issue a recall. How does this impact clean beauty? HOW DO WE KNOW IF SOMETHING IS REALLY CLEAN IF THERE ISN’T TRUE OVERSIGHT?! A brand can just say something is clean, organic or cruelty-free and nothing with power can correct them because ... you guessed the FDA doesn’t regulate how brands use those words either. When Cherie posed this question, I looked for the best definition of “clean beauty” and found it in the Aug. 12, 2019, article “The Ultimate Guide to Clean Beauty.” Here is what it said: “(Clean beauty should be) safe for people and the planet, clean means that a beauty product should have considered human and environmental health, using a nontoxic element as a baseline and plant-based ingredients for active results. Much like eating clean rejects the idea of processed foods and focuses on nourishing, plant-based produce that delivers all the vitamins and antioxidants needed for a healthy immune and digestive system, the same is true for clean skin care.” So do I love or hate clean beauty? I love it, but I wish I could trust it more. It seems like a gimmick right now when it should be an expectation. Government oversight when it comes to cosmetics is not something I would balk at. What do you think?
My clean lifestyle includes reducing my 👣
Like I said in the video, I want to do what I can to not be an unconscious contributor to landfills. The Return to Origins’ recycling program, which started in 2009, is a great way to do that. Origins takes any empty cosmetic packages — tubes, bottles and jars — and converts that packaging into energy or properly recycled the ones that can be converted. (No sponges, tweezers, trial-size packaging, paper boxes or plastic wrapping.)

HoliFrog is my Holi-Grail!
What is there to say about HoliFrog? 🐸 Only that they’ve become my Holi-Grail of cleansers since I’ve first gotten my hands on them! 💓 I can’t imagine that you HAVEN’T heard of HoliFrog by now as these cleansers have basically taken over everyone’s Instagram feeds in recent months! HoliFrog is all about situational cleansing and all of the cleansers maintain a pH between 4.0 - 5.5 and have no discernible scent- meaning that these cleansers all all meant for ALL SKIN TYPES! What’s the difference between them, then? Each is used for a specific situation or based on what your skin needs at that particular moment. Let’s talk a little bit about each of them… Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Wash🌸: This is a light milky wash. It’s very nourishing and conditioning. It’s great for when your skin is feeling stressed out or if it’s feeling extra sensitive from retinols or other more intensive skin treatments. Calling all my sensitive-skinned babes! Shasta AHA Refining Acid Wash: I’m not going to lie to you - Shasta might just be my favorite little frog! 🐸 Shasta contains 5% AHAs to exfoliate the skin as well as clean and clear pores to reveal smooth, glassy skin. This tends to be my go-to morning wash (if my skin isn’t sensitive from my nighttime treatments) as it leaves my skin shiny and glowing to start the day! Kissimmee Vitamin F Therapy Balmy Wash: Y’all! This is your first makeup removing cleansing balm in a tube! No more scraping your cleaning balm out of a tub! 🙌🏻 And this stuff means business too! It repairs and hydrates skin while washing away all of your makeup, SPF, sebum and pollution from the day! This is the perfect first step in your double-cleanse! Superior Omega Nutritive Gel Wash: This is your everyday foaming gel cleanser, really meant for any and every situation. This is the wash that I keep in my shower 🚿 as it is a great catch-all cleanser! It’s also a great second-step in your double-cleanse! These cleansers have been one of my favorite additions to my skincare routine over the past few months. HoliFrog has a new release coming out in about 3 weeks and I’m on pins and needles! If this next release is anywhere as good as these four little frogs, I’ll be one of the first in line! 😍 HOLI FROG - Kissimmee Vitamin F Therapy Balmy Face Wash, 74ml HOLI FROG - Tashmoo Water Lily Nourishing Milky Face Wash, 148ml HOLI FROG - Superior Omega Nutritive Gel Face Wash, 148ml HOLI FROG - Shasta AHA Refining Acid Face Wash, 148ml

KVD Setting Powder
The full name of this product is KVD VEGAN BEAUTY Lock-It Setting Powder. I got this sample last week and tried it immediately. You can check the second pic which shows the answer whether I would purchase the full size of this and also roll down to get my thoughts about this product. It meant to create a flawless and locked-in finish but I think it doesn't work perfectly for me. I have combo skin, and when applying this, my makeup starts to get cakey and creasing. Definitely won't recommend this to those who have the same skin type as mine. Another thing I need to complain about is the color. You may see it in picture 3. It doesn't match my skin tone at all. It's too bright for me that won't give me a natural look. 🤦♀️ Also it is more pearly instead of matte, and personally I prefer matte ones. The last complaint is about the design of the container. It come out a lot of powder every time I open it, which is kind of waste and also not convenient. So will I purchase the full size? Of course NO. 😐

Giorgio Armani Eye Tint VS. Glossier Lidstar
ARMANI beauty - Eye Tint Liquid Eyeshadow in 4, 5, 12, 18 & 20 - long-lasting - pigmented - lightweight formula - 3 finishes (matte, metallic & shimmer) Glossier. - Lidstar in Fawn & Cub - fades over time - blends away - shimmer finish - sheer pigmentation My Choice: I have to choose Giorgio Armani Eye Tint because there are so many shades to choose from. From matte neutrals to shimmery greens. They glide on easily with the applicator and blends seamlessly with a brush or finger. I also love how long-lasting they are because they don’t fade or crease even after a whole day of wear. The Glossier Lidstars are beautiful when applied with the applicator but as soon as I try to blend it out with a brush or finger, the pigment disappears and my lids are left with a faded shadow with bits of glitter scattered. My Choice:
