HELP: STARTING A NEW ROUTINE?! 🤪
Hey all!! I’m newer to the skin scare space and looking for AM/PM routine suggestions. My skin is normal/combo and recently I’ve been having frequent dehydration which may be due to extra exercise in my daily routine. I’m looking for products to keep my skin CLEAN, HYDRATED, PROTECTED, PLUMP and GLOWY. I do have acne scars on my forehead, sides of my face, and chin. My most acne prone area is around my chin and it has been like this for the past few months- breakouts in that area every other day. I’ve been looking into the following products to help my skin: Cleanser: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser Possible along with the CeraVe - Renewing SA Cleanser For Normal Skinfor my acne problem area hydration: PAULA'S CHOICE - Hyaluronic Acid Booster Or The Ordinary - Marine Hyaluronics Or DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum For hydration Evening skin tone: PAULA'S CHOICE - 10% Niacinamide Boosterfor evening skin tone For additional serums/essences to make the skin appear more glowy/youthful I was thinking of trying: Krave - Great Barrier Relief Or TATCHA - Luminous Deep Hydration Firming Serum Exfoliation: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator Moisturizer: Open to suggestions. Heard good things about CeraVe and Youth to the People The products I’m using now are Okay but I would like to step it up and have clear glowy skin without needing to use makeup :) I appreciate any suggestions/tips from more experienced skin care lovers 💖💖

Essential SPF season✨
LA ROCHE-POSAY - Anthelios 50 Mineral Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 50 Summer is arriving and SPF is ESSENTIAL for good, healthy looking skin. It is crucial to protect your skin from any sun damage and to do that, you must wear SPF of at least over 50 in order to thoroughly protect the skin. —————————————— My experience I always knew that sunscreen was critical however I dreaded wearing it due to its consistency. It always left a white sheen across my face, always felt so thick and oily and just all around uncomfortable. I’ve tried numerous types of SPF’s until I found my favourite: the tinted mineral sunscreen PAF 50 by La Roche Posay. —————————————— Results This sunscreen feels so light on the skin, it sinks right in and leaves a nice glow. The tint is perfect, and will fit with any skin. It leaves the skin looking fresh and smooth as ever. Ever since I found this SPF, I enjoy wearing sunscreen and wear it every single day without feeling uncomfortable! —————————————— Recommend 100% As a result, I would definitely recommend this product if you’re looking for a good sunscreen. It works well with dry and oily skin and does not make the skin feel too heavy or oily. And lastly, the tint in this SPF is a perfect touch for a light summertime glow. Always remember to apply SPF as the last step of your skin routine for it to be the most effective.

Brighten dark spots💫OVERNIGHT💫
I'm sure like most of you, there are very few products that make a real difference for me overnight, and have earned high status in my skincare repertoire as repurchases and "holy grail" items. This Vitamin C, has. 🤍 Literally overnight I see a significant reduction in dark spots. After 5 days, my skin is smoother, more even, and has a glow. 🤍 Some important things to know about this product: it's quite strong. Like all products please patch test on yourself and start out slow. I love mixing this with my collagen serum to dilute it a bit. If you are new to acids, I would not use this on night when you are using a strong acid exfoliator if your skin is not used to strong products. If you're an avid acid user, I still would not double up this with an acid more than 1x/week. it will sting if you have any breakouts or open wounds. Sometimes this even stings a bit when I use it after an exfoliating mask. Again, start slow. This is not a daytime Vitamin C. The texture is oily and a bit gritty. I don't mind this at all at night but don't recommend this during the day. How I apply: Cleanse➡️toner or essence➡️Vit C + collagen serum➡️[wait 5+ minutes to let it absorb bc like I said it's a bit oily]➡️ night cream or oil. I've been using this in my routine for years now and I highly, highly recommend. For me, it's perfect to use every few weeks or so, whenever I've had some breakouts or spots that need fading, or before a big event to really improve my skin's tone. The best part, it's so affordable and lasts so long. If you're going to pick up this product and take anything away from this long post, start slow and dilute with a night cream or serum to help your skin acclimate and reduce any stinging. 💕 The Ordinary - Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%

Do you love Niacinamide?? ✨💕 I have these staples in my routine and I wanted to give my thoughts on. @paulaschoice skin balancing pore reducing toner and @deciem @theordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 2% solution. 😍💕The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Niacinamide is my absolute favorite ingredient and I love it along with my Glycolic acid. Is there any one ingredient that you love so much?? Let me know in the comments ⬇ ❤ @deciem 👉 Claims: Niacinamide (vitamin B3) reduces the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. A high 10 percent concentration of this vitamin is supported in the formula by zinc PCA to balance visible aspects of sebum activity. My thoughts: It is the best product and ingredient so far. It is a staple in my routine since a long time now. I don't remember ever thinking of not using this one ever. Love how it brightens and tightens my skin. My pores miraculously get less visible and it creates that shield of glow on skin. I simply love it. It is safe to use, non-irritating and effective even for sensitive skin types. It tingles a tiny bit in certain areas of face when applied but that tingling sensation goes away in few moments. @paulaschoice Skin balancing Pore reducing toner 👉PAULA'S CHOICE - Pore-Reducing Toner Claims : SKIN BALANCING Pore-Reducing Toner helps balance skin with antioxidants and hydrating ceramides, making oily areas less noticeable and skin more even, smooth, moisturized, and protected. It is an essential step in any skincare routine to renew skin after cleansing. Can also help remove the last traces of makeup My thoughts: It does an amazing job. I noticed a smoother and more even skin using this toner. This is almost watery and gets absorbed in skin so quickly. I've been loving this even in daytime, before applying my other skincare. Love it. . . . . . . . . . .

🦠THE PRODUCT🦠 The GOOD MOLECULES - Niacinamide Serum is THE serum you should reach for if you want an antioxidant serum that will help the appearance of pores. Niacinamide, or vitamin b3, is a powerful antioxidant, and this serum is marketed to be used day and night (after cleansing and before moisturizing) to improve the skin’s appearance. It has 10% niacinamide which is the second ingredient in the product! The target concerns of niacinamide are large pores, uneven texture, and dull skin. Niacinamide has been proven to reduce the look of large pores, and it can also brighten the skin, boost hydration, and improve the skin’s barrier function. Texture-wise, this product is goopy yet thin. It is a clear, water-based formula, so it applies really smoothly to the skin and doesn’t feel tacky to me. Swipe to pic 2 for a texture shot! 🧪MY HONEST OPINION🧪 I’ve been using this product for about two months, and I wanted to try it because I’ve heard great things about niacinamide’s ability to help fade acne scars. I think that this is a really great product, application wise, and my scars have faded, but it is so hard to tell which product is responsible for that. I am going to continue using this in hopes that it will help with the appearance of my pores. I would recommend this to others because even though I’m not sure how effective it is as an antioxidant, It is an instantly-hydrating formula, so anyone can benefit from it. The major selling point of this product is that it costs $6 for 1oz. SIX DOLLARS!!! That is unheard of for a good quality, cruelty-free serum. The price product a STEAL. It is super easy to use, and works well under other skincare products, so it is effortless. So, I give this a 5/5 ⭐️ rating. The price is unbeatable, it is super hydrating, I’m unsure about its efficacy on pores and uneven skin tone/texture, but there is no risk in trying this out for $6 (and the packaging is cute as heck!)
