Two kinds of YSL Blur Primer. Which is worthy？
I’ve got two primers from Yves Saint Laurent beauty that want to share with you gals. I bought the perfector a year earlier than the primer. At first, I was struggling with if I should buy this primer or not. As looking at the name of these two products, they look exactly the same. Finally, I'm so glad I bought it. How they performed and how they work are different. Touche Eclat Blur Perfector I have to admit that I bought this product because of its package. It looks so high-end and has YSL beauty iconic features. And, it was a new launched product at that time. I'd like to try new stuff. But this is definitely not a worthy try. As a blur perfector, it could barely cover my pores. The texture is creamy, but it's so hard to take it off by puff (kinda like wax) It’s around $50 (can’t remember the exact number). A waste of money. Touche Eclat Blur Primer $52 I’ve tried this primer in-store in Bloomingdales. I was attracted by it's gel texture and how amazing I blended it. It's a non-greasy lightweight primer that really does what it claims - blurs, and goes on smoothly and beautifully onto my skin. I have large pores on my nose side and oily T-zone. This primer helps to cover my skin flaws without making my foundation look greasy or cakey. The primer is formulated with gold specks, which makes it looks quite exquisite. I like it! When you apply the primer, the gold specks will disappear under the foundation. I also like the scent of this primer. It smells so good. It’s a high-class floral scent. Though it's $52, which is pricy, it is worth every penny.

I can’t live without these blushes! Blush Awards
These three blushes are my holy grails. I can’t live without them! They’re different shades, but all of them can fit in my daily makeup look. Each of them can be my go-to blush. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush – The cutest color Color: Euphoric Fusion – soft lilac blush blended with Euphoric Strobe Light for a resplendent glow Euphoric Fusion is a beautiful blush shade that compliments my fair to light tone skin. The color looks so good on me. I’m not sure if I described the color exactly – natural pink. I love to put it under my eye area, which makes me look a bit drunk. It provides a nice glow that blends into the skin naturally. I also like the package of it, very delicate. Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush – The most natural color Color: Pillow Talk – Nude Pink I bought the pillow talk blush just because I want to match my pillow talk eyeshadow. When I start to use it, I cannot live without it. It matches my skin tone perfectly. The highlighter in the centre also fits the outer color nicely and naturally. I like its formula – buttery smooth, and the powder is so fine. The color is nice and natural that could fit in the minimal makeup look. Nars Blush – The most shimmer Color: Orgasm – Peachy Pink I’ve been wearing this for 6 years and haven’t looked back. It’s definitely one of the most classic blush shades among all of the blushes in the beauty world. It looks great on everyone with every skin tone and is the perfect balance of peach and pink with a hint of shimmer. It blends beautifully and easily. Comparing to the other two blushes I review, this one is the most pigmented without giving your cheek to much color. I don’t need to put a highlighter when I wear this blush. I love the glow it gives to me.

Brand Spotlight of Benefit✨
I start using Benefit products since high school. The first product I bought from Benefit is the pore primer, and now it comes with different kinds of pore primer. This brand creates so many lovely and good beauty products. Even now, I'm still Benefit's loyal client. I like their brow product a lot that I almost bought the whole series of them. But, some of them are my Favs, and some are Meh… Favs: Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra-Fine Shape & Define Color: Shade 3.5 – Neutral Medium Brown This is my favorite brow pencil at all. I've been using it for a long time. The pigment and formula are so nice that it could blend perfectly with my brows. It's so easy to use and could help create a nice and precise brow look. It did what it claims – long-lasting. When I fall asleep with makeup, it won't smudge at all. It's definitely my go-to brow pencil. 24-HR Brow Setter Shaping & Setting Gel It performs like its name – very long-lasting – from dawn to bedtime. The formula of it makes my brows look fluffy. I love that it's not tinted or colored, so I can put it right on top of the already done brows without smudging. And, it could hold without any white residue or sticky feeling. The one I got is mini size, only costs $14. It's definitely my holy grail. Meh: Gimme Brow + Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Color: 1 – cool light blonde This tinted brow gel is 'meh'. I don't think it could hold my brows, and the brush is so tiny that I need times to finish the look. I may choose the wrong color – cool light blonde is too light, and my brow color is dark brown. So, it cannot cover my brow color at all. I will put it away. High Brow Glow Luminous Highlight & Lift Pencil This one is meant to be a highlighter of the brow area. It should illuminate and visibly lift brows. But, I don't like the color, it's pinkish-white, which looks weird on my skin. The formula is so creamy that is a bit sticky. I don't like it.

Best Armani Lipstick Dupes – Mac
Armani Beauty gains great attention through the beauty markets. Even the price is at a high level. I think it is worth every penny. This brand always does a great job on each of product. Here, I have a dupe recommend – MAC cosmetics, which also provide great products at a very affordable price. These two lipsticks are mauve color, which brightens up my skin tone. Forget to mention that I'm fair to light skin tone. Armani Beauty Lip Magnet Liquid Lipstick $38 Color: 507 Garconne – Mauve Berry Armani #507 is a purple-pink color liquid lipstick. The color is very rich. The texture is lightweight and ultra-thin. It creates a matte finish without too heavy or too thin. And, it is very easy to apply. Mac Satin Lipstick $17 Color: Captive – Pinkish Plum This is a stick lipstick with pink-purple color. The texture of it is really rich and creamy. Color performance is so good. But it's a bit hard to apply. I will recommend wearing a lip primer before applying the lipstick, which will make the application smoothly. Although these two products have a different finish, one for matte and other for satin, the final finish look won't have a great difference. The color of them looks very similar. Though Mac Lipstick #Captive is called as pinkish plum and Armani #507 is described as Mauve Berry, the actual look they present is that captive is more purplish and #507 is more pinkish. Both of them are quite long-lasting and waterproof. I could wear them for more than 5 hours. Armani lipstick did a better job on transfer-proof function. When I wear it, I don't need to refine the make-up after an afternoon tea. Overall, I like both of them. Also, I think both of the brands are professional in makeup products. I will recommend to choose them on your budgets or preference.

Mix them up! Get a better foundation
I'm very picky to the foundation because I have dry skin. The hydrating, coverage, texture, finish of a foundation is all very important. I got Kevyn Aucoin Etherealist Foundation in Sephora. When I try it store, I like its nice coverage, lightweight texture and fragrance-free. While after few times try on my skin, I found it somewhat dry out my skin. So, I put it away. To get a flawless foundation makeup, I know it’s very important to put on a primer. I got Armani Maestro UV primer, which is one of Armani Beauty's best sellers. It has broad-spectrum SPF 50 that is really amazing, as a primer, I like it. It uses antioxidants fillers to mimic the behavior of collagen. The texture of it is oil-ish and a bit oily. It can soak into the skin well, but I will need to very careful of the amount. Or, my skin will get really greasy. Then, it occurs to me that why not mix them together. The thing is the mixture does do a great job. The mixed foundation becomes very easy to blend and definitely buildable. It is really lightweight and fluid, which provides my skin great moisturizing, and makes my skin looks glowy without oily looking. It won't be cakey even if I wear makeup over 8 hours. Mixed with oily texture primers will not affect its coverage. It could still cover my blemishes. Before I give a try, I cannot imagine how well could two beauty products mix together. Kevyn Aucoin foundation costs me $58, and Armani primer is $64, which are really pricy! This amazing try totally save my money!

Treat ur oily scalp! Christophe Robin or Briogeo
I have an oily scalp, which annoying me for a while. I have two scalp treatments to share with you gals that are aiming at the oily scalp. Let's see which one truly works on my scalp problem. Christophe Robin Purifying Scalp Scrub with Sea Salt $53 / 246ml My sales recommend me Christophe Robin Scalp Scrub to save my oily scalp. This item is really popular. So, I decided to give a try. It is a scalp exfoliator and shampoo that claims to clean and soothes sensitive/ oily scalps. The ingredient contains sea salt that could remove scalp residue. It also comes with sweet almond oil to provide hydration and soothing for the scalp. The texture of it is very creamy and heavy, but easy to get rich foam. It cleans my scalp thoroughly that makes my scalp feel so clean and nice. It does have soothing benefits as it claims. BTW, the smell is really nice too, fresh and clean. I use it twice a week instead of shampoo. It saved my oily scalp. Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliation Shampoo $43 / 236ml I bought this one a few months earlier than the Christopher Robin one. I bought it because it's clean beauty and has quite a few positive feedbacks. It aims at solving the same problem. The key benefits of this Shampoo are to detoxifies and removes buildup, hydrates the scalp, and soothes itchy/flaky scalp. For my experience, I felt it clean my scalp well and smells very refreshing. It feels very calming and cooling on the scalp. The charcoal ingredient also does a great job on detoxifying my scalp. The coconut oil prevents the scalp from dryness. I use this product once every 1-2 weeks. Both of them work well on my oily scalp. But I love Christopher Robin better, as the smell of it is nice, and it cleanses my scalp more thoroughly. You can see in the picture I post, I'm almost finishing it. It's a bit pricy than Briogeo ($10 more). I think the Briogeo product is more suitable for a very sensitive scalp. You could make a decision by your own preference.
