Brand Spotlight of Benefit✨
I start using Benefit products since high school. The first product I bought from Benefit is the pore primer, and now it comes with different kinds of pore primer. This brand creates so many lovely and good beauty products. Even now, I'm still Benefit's loyal client. I like their brow product a lot that I almost bought the whole series of them. But, some of them are my Favs, and some are Meh… Favs: Precisely, My Brow Pencil Ultra-Fine Shape & Define Color: Shade 3.5 – Neutral Medium Brown This is my favorite brow pencil at all. I've been using it for a long time. The pigment and formula are so nice that it could blend perfectly with my brows. It's so easy to use and could help create a nice and precise brow look. It did what it claims – long-lasting. When I fall asleep with makeup, it won't smudge at all. It's definitely my go-to brow pencil. 24-HR Brow Setter Shaping & Setting Gel It performs like its name – very long-lasting – from dawn to bedtime. The formula of it makes my brows look fluffy. I love that it's not tinted or colored, so I can put it right on top of the already done brows without smudging. And, it could hold without any white residue or sticky feeling. The one I got is mini size, only costs $14. It's definitely my holy grail. Meh: Gimme Brow + Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Color: 1 – cool light blonde This tinted brow gel is 'meh'. I don't think it could hold my brows, and the brush is so tiny that I need times to finish the look. I may choose the wrong color – cool light blonde is too light, and my brow color is dark brown. So, it cannot cover my brow color at all. I will put it away. High Brow Glow Luminous Highlight & Lift Pencil This one is meant to be a highlighter of the brow area. It should illuminate and visibly lift brows. But, I don't like the color, it's pinkish-white, which looks weird on my skin. The formula is so creamy that is a bit sticky. I don't like it.

🤪Glowy natural makeup when I’m late😌 (~10min)
SKIN TYPE: Very dry skin, eczema, sensitive and acne-prone all at the same time🙃🙃 Sometimes using prescribed cortisteroid ointments (Novasone) for eczema flare ups or reactions. PRODUCTS USED (in order): Primer I use e.l.f. - Poreless Putty Primer , it’s so cheap but acts as a nice bond/barrier between skin after skincare routine and applying makeup; it’s so good in preventing drying out my skin but it’s not very hygienic as fluff or dust gets stuck. Usually patting the primer into the skin and waiting a moment for it to melt into the skin. Foundation is a cushion #CHANEL - Vitalumiére Glow[products]#[FourStars] (#21), gives a shine upon application while still looking like natural skin. It’s a light to medium coverage and I find it doesn’t cling to my dry patches. I don’t use concealer most of the time but I do use the powder Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder to set under the eyes, smile lines, nose contour area, chin and forehead. I don’t produce much oil through the day at all but I do sweat and the powder helps set makeup while still looking natural and doesn’t take away the glow too much. For the price though, there might be better cheaper alternatives🥺. Brows I usually use the innisfree - Auto Eyebrow Pencil or the ETUDE - Tint My Brows Gel New +benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel, the tint can last ~2-3 days so it saves time if I’ve already filled in and drawn my brows the night before😂. The only con is that on initial application the tint looks green-ish in the camera. #NARS - Original blush - Orgasm[products]#[FourStars] for the slight golden shimmer enhancing the glow of the cushion foundation, usually building it up for a slightly brighter flush of colour on the cheeks as the colour doesn’t show too much when you first apply it. Highlight usually the FENTY mini Kilowatt highlight in the shade Hustla Baby, it’s a golden sheen that really blends in with my skin tone and not too glittery while also blends in with the NARS blush. If I’m feeling extra then also lightly adding in the FENTY mini Diamond Bomb highlight. Eyeliner is the brownUZ - Eye Opening Liner Usually use various lengthening falsies or innisfree - Skinny Microcara Last but most crucial thing for me is the URBAN DECAY - All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray , it really pulls the whole look together, adding back some shine where I’ve powdered thus making the whole look more natural. Also with the spray I don’t have to worry about the makeup transferring or fading/melting away during the day unless 8+ hours. Lip products include: CHANEL - Rouge Coco Flash Lipstick(#212) #CHANEL - Rouge Allure Laque[products]# romand - Glasting Water Tint 6 Colors FENTY BEAUTY - Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer FENTY BEAUTY - Diamond Bomb Baby Mini Lip Gloss and Highlighter Set
Makeup For My Graduation Photoshoot!!! 🎓💖✨
First of all, congrats to all my fellow 2020 graduates!!! I recently did a graduation photoshoot with my family and so I wanted to show you the makeup I did for it! I wanted to look like myself but more enhanced and defined. I started with MAKE UP FOR EVER - Full Cover Concealer to cover any blemishes on my face. It has a super thick and high coverage formula that lasts all day (it’s literally waterproof!) and is perfect for pinpoint concealing! I skipped foundation because I wanted my makeup to look more skinlike in the photos and not super flat. I then defined my brows with MAYBELLINE - Brow Ultra Slim Defining Eyebrow Pencil . It’s a great dupe for Anastasia’s brow wix and any other more “expensive” skinny brow pencil. It’s not too pigmented where you accidentally like like you use a sharpie to draw on your brows. It has the perfect in-between pigment and wax so it lasts all day and adds thickness to the brows. I used benefit - 24-Hour Brow Setter Clear Brow Gel to set my brows. It’s literally super glue for brows! This is a clear gel that keeps my hairs looking fluffy and combed up all day. I used the bronzer and highlight fromTOM FORD - Soleil Contouring Compact to add some warmth, glow and definition to the face. It has a super smooth powder formula that doesn’t look like makeup once on the skin! It blends in perfectly and seamlessly so it looks just like skin. For blush I used CHANEL - ROUGE COCO Lip Blush in 420 for a warm berry glow on the cheeks. This is a gel like formula that is super cheer but buildable. It also leaves a nice glassy sheen on the skin! To set the concealer and the parts of my face that gets shiny throughout the day, I used rms beauty - "Un" Powder . It makes my skin look satin smooth and doesn’t let any shine come through! It also doesn’t have flashback (if you apply only a sheer layer on the skin). For eyeshadow, I used TOM FORD - Cream and Powder Eye Color in Naked Bronze. It’s a beautiful combination of a creamy, moussey bronze cream shadow and a sheer but super glittery gold powder shadow top coat. It lasts all day and looks suuper flattering! I always get questions on what I have on my eyesqhen I wear it. I used my holy-grail favorite DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner to line my eyes for extra definition. It has a super fine tip for extra precision and the formula is inky black and doesn’t budge at all! For the biggest, baddest lashes, I used LANCÔME - Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara . It adds so much volume and length to my lashes and the waterproof formula makes it stay on all day without any smudging. For the lips, I wanted a shade similar to my natural lip color so I went for COLOURPOP - Ultra Blotted Lip from Pony’s Collaboration in Holly Lolly. It’s a beautiful warm pink!

Back-Up Brow Product 🤨🙈
Now I have been using this product for quite some time... But I'm going to be open this was definitely not my favourite brow product. This brow gel was better at filling in gaps, but never really held my brows in place 🤷🏻♀️ I got this in a benefit gift package and then night a full sized tube afterwards... But never found it really did the trick. I've been using Glossier. - Boy Brow daily and I definitely prefer it. I also like MAYBELLINE - Great Lash Clear Mascara for helping my brows stay in rather than filling and holding them.
Christmas Eve Look 🎄✨🎅🏻
Hi guys! 👋🏻 I hope you’re all having a great holiday season! This time of year is my absolute favorite! For my Christmas Eve look, I kept it pretty simple. After doing my usual skincare routine, I used The Ordinary - Mineral UV Filters SPF 30 with Antioxidants I love this stuff so much because it really neutralizes my skin tone & hides a lot of the natural redness I have in my face. Then I use trèStiQue - Conceal, Cover & Correct Crayon to go over my eyelids before using the Lasplash Cosmetics Zodiac Eyeshadow Palette ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I mostly used the colors Selenite, Sunstone, & Rose Quartz. After that, I gently highlight the corner of my upper lash line with MAYBELLINE - Hyper Easy Waterproof Liquid Liner In Pitch Black After that, I curl my lashes & go over them twice with ANASTASIA Beverly Hills - Lash Brag Volumizing Mascara (this mascara is my all time favorite, it’s so delicate with each lash & doesn’t clump at all) Next I go over my brows with benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel Then I lightly go over my whole face with ciaté - Everyday Vacay Coconut Setting Powder this stuff works so well with the spf, it makes my skin look like porcelain! & after that, I lightly highlight the tip of my nose & cheek bones with KVD VEGAN BEAUTY - Metal Crush Liquid Highlighter Finally I used ARROW - ARROW Boost Color Enhancing Lip Balm - Blush Hour this gives me such a nice light pink look which is my absolute favorite!! For my hair, I actually slept overnight with a twisted sleep bun & when I took it out it left the loose curls I have in the photo. Then I just pinned back the front of my hair with bobby pins & I’m done! I hope you guys enjoyed my Christmas Eve look & I hope you all have a great holiday! 💋💖👋🏻 @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick
💫 GEMINI GALAXY 🌌 pt 2
💫 its halloween season and that means HALLOWEEN MAKEUP! I did a gemini galaxy looks because i am an gemini, but its pretty easy to put any star sign on your head! check my last post for the video 🌟steps and products used - find a galaxy picture to emulate! i just typed in “galaxy art” on google -eyeshadow base KARA BEAUTY - ES44 Tropical Vibes Shadow Palette from Marshall’s! - i used the shades of deep blue and purple for the depths and base of space - pink and lighter blue for lowlights, to add some brighter colors - holographic blue and white for highlights, like around stars and gas nebulas - I love this powder palette, which has an amazing range of favorite colors that are both matte, holographic, shimmering, and metallic. It has lots of colors for every - brushes to blend SEPHORA COLLECTION - Rose Brush Set i used the eyeshadow brushes to pack on the color and blend the high brow pencil and the eyeshadow colors - more highlights benefit - High Brow Eyebrow Highlighter i used this to draw the main highlight of the galaxy across my face and blended outward, also made some light clouds on other places SEPHORA COLLECTION - Eyeliner Pencil to Go i used the white color of this to draw on stars and star dots, as well as the gemini symbol and a constellation - outlines and details ABSOLUTE - Duo Stroke Liner i used the thin side of this eyeliner pencil to draw stars, planets, and outline the white stars and gemini symbol. - this matte black eyeliner has a thick side and a thin side that makes it really easy to pick either a dramatic look, or a very natural look. it flows really well, and works to the very tip for precision lines, like the ones that I had to use in this look - glitter URBAN DECAY - Heavy Metal Face & Body Glitter Gel Sparkle Out Loud Collection i dotted my whole face with this amazing glitter which looks so good and stays all day! It has a large glitter bits and small glitter boots for sparkle all over! it was a great simulation of stars ✨ The texture is grainy cause it has a lot of glitter in it, and it’s essentially a form of glue that you can put all over your face and body. It hasn’t made me break out because it wipes away cleanly.
Benefit Spotlight: Brow Tools, hit or miss?
ABH is known for her killer eyebrow products, so how does Benefit stack up? Let's start with Benefit's Ready, Set, Brow - which I'm kind of lukewarm about and therefore don't use as often. It certainly delivers when it comes to setting your brows. Still, for me, it's a bit too intense and unnatural looking for my liking. The packaging boasts 24-hours of invisible shaping and setting, which it delivers on since it never budges after application. It does give a kind of wet-look to my brows, like when you put gel in your hair, which I'm not a fan of. When it sets, it tends to clump my eyebrow hairs together, which makes them look wispier and less full. On several occasions, maybe an hour or so after application, it starts to flake, essentially giving me eyebrow dandruff. It can sometimes get uncomfortable after wearing it for a long time as its pretty rigid and almost sticks to your face. On that note, its holding power is super impressive - I'll admit I once fell asleep without taking off my makeup and in the morning my brows were still in place. Their High Brow Champagne Pink Liner, on the other hand, is a real winner! I use this all the time and love its super creamy and blendable texture. With one swipe and a bit of smudging under my brows, my eyes have more depth to them and instantly brighten. I've even used it under my eyes, in the corner of my eyes, on my eyelids, above my cupid’s bow and underneath winged eyeliner to brighten up my face. It’s super versatile! My verdict? If you're on the market for a brow gel that will hold through a superstorm, this is undoubtedly the one for you. For achieving a bright-eyed look, Benefit's High Brow has you covered. I believe it would complement all skin colors and is a fun tool to have!

Olive 🫒 Eyes + Red Lip // TUTORIAL ✨
Hey Cherie Fam 🍒 I am on this 12 days of Christmas train 🎄 and I have been posting holiday related things on my Instagram. I believe this is day 8...I know Christmas is in a few days so I better post everyday til then 😬 I used my Natasha Denona Mini Gold palette. This is the perfect holiday palette. It has that perfect Christmas green shade and that holiday gold shade. The transition shade called “dark sepia” which is a dark taupe shape with pink shimmer is a little too sheer and it took some time building up, but the matte olive green is pigmented and blended easily to the brown taupe shade. The shade D’or which is the high shine vibrant yellow gold is gorgeous. It is so highly pigmented and creamy. However, there’s a lot of fall out so I suggest doing your eyes first before the completion. The shade “antheia” which is a taupe with green reflects is also stunning. Formula is similar to the gold shade. I think these shimmers are duo chrome because in a different lighting it looks green, but it some lighting it looks like a bronze. Overall this is a great palette. It’s just a bit pricy considering it is $25 for such little product. The pan sizes are much smaller than ELF’s bite size shadows. NATASHA DENONA - Mini Gold Eyeshadow Palette To achieve this look, I used: 1️⃣ Dark sepia with a fluffy brush using window wipe shield motions on the crease 2️⃣ Bia using a smaller dense brush on the crease just below dark sepia 3️⃣ Lodge on the outer v 4️⃣ I did a half cut crease and used Tarte shape tape concealer 5️⃣ D’or all over the lids 6️⃣ Antheia to blend over the edges of D’or 7️⃣Lumino on the inner corner. This is from the mini nude palette 8️⃣Liner and mascara 9️⃣Lashes. I used HOL in Natalia Lite 🔟Glamlite Red velvet liquid lipstick I hope you find this helpful! I love this holiday look. Happy holidays to all! Xoxo, Francesca 💋
Holiday Glam with this Festive Pie Palette ❤️🎁
Hello beautiful! I finally received my holiday foodie box from Glamlite Cosmetics. I have been loving indie brands lately and Glamlite is def one of my favorite indie brands. If you’re curious, check out my profile and it’s the previous post 😚 To achieve this look, I used: • The pie palette and the cane trio brushes. I applied pumpkin pie all over the crease, sweet potato 🍠 on inner and outer corner, nutty pecan on mid lid, mixed berry and blackberry on lower lash and apple pie on the inner corner and brow highlight. I also used the cherry pie blush on my cheeks. •Gingerbread lash •Milk and cookies highlighter •Pecan gloss Love love love this innovative and creative brand. Xoxo, Francesca
MAKEUP I CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT: BROW GEL
Brows make SUCH a big difference for me! I love the way brows define the face and always manages to make me look a little more “put together”. With all the video-calling I’ve been doing during self-quarantine, my brow gel has been my #1 necessity before hopping on video! I love a fluffy and full brow look so a volumizing brow gel is my go-to! Currently I’m using benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in 4 and I love that it tints and “beefs” up my brows with its whipped pomade-texture. My brows don’t need much in terms of actual brow hairs so I’m always looking for a good tint of color!

Can’t Live Without It: My Fave Brow Gel!
I have always had very thick eyebrows, until I decided to tweeze them all off at the age of 13 because everyone kept teasing me about them! I wish I had known how much thick brows would come into style just a few years later. For the longest time I tried to grow them back out, and they always just looked awkward and patchy, and I could never get them to lay the right way. They are already super dark, so any imperfections are very easy to spot. I tried filling in my brows for a while but that made them look cartoonish. I had tried cheap brow gels in the past, but they always made my brows feel stiff and flaked everywhere. When I got a Sephora gift card for my birthday last year, I thought I’d try out a higher-end brow gel. I ended up purchasing the Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel and OMG- it transformed my brows. Somehow the perfect amount of gel always ends up on the end of the brush so that I do not have to wipe off any excess, and it doesn’t make my brows stiff!! It lifts them into place and makes them look so much more voluminous. It lasts all day without flaking. I love this as a product I can use on my no-makeup days that isn’t noticeable but still helps me to look more polished. It is a little bit pricey for a clear brow gel at $22, but this is now a product that I know I can’t live without!
This is one of my go-to eyebrow setters. The texture is lightweight and doesn’t apply too much pigment all at once which makes it super easy to work with! The color also makes my brows look natural and filled in. I love it-I’d definitely recommend itbenefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel

Before and after brow tint
The first picture shows my eyebrows after applying the brow tint and leaving on for 3 hours. I’m actually happy with the result, the colour is a close match, pretty pigmented, although nor perfect, but definitely still doable. If be happy with this temporary cooour for a few days. The second picture shows the tint almost completely washed off and revealing my red tinted eyebrows (from faded tattoo) after just one day. The colour was supposed to last 3 days, but from washing my face (day and night) it faded after one.. which i was not very impressed with.. i dont think Maybelline expects us to avoid our eyebrows when washing our face to keep the product on... do they?

MINIMAL MAKEUP ROUTINE FOR SELF-QUARANTINE
I can’t be the only one who likes to wear a little “something something” even when I’m stuck at home all day right?! Even if it’s just covering up my blemishes, brushing up my brows and putting on a light layer of gloss, it always makes me feel better and become more productive. Here’s what I do most days: *CONCEAL* MAKE UP FOR EVER - Full Cover Concealer in 06 I love this high coverage concealer. I use the tiiiiniest amount just to pinpoint conceal any small scars or blemishes on my face. I don’t use this under my eyes because it’s way too heavy for that! It lasts so long on your face AND lasts you a while as a product too- I’ve been using this same tube for more than a year! (Yes, I should probably get a new one soon 🙃) *BROWS* benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in 4 I can’t stress how important brows are to your face. They add structure and frame the eyes! I don’t need much defining in my brows because I prefer a more natural look rather than super sculted- so a volumizing brow gel is perfect! This gel just beefs them up and adds a bit of color. *SHINE* NUDESTIX - Magnetic Nude Glimmer Highlighter in Cherry A little gloss always makes me feel fresh and put together! This gloss isn’t sticky and gives quite a bit of color which I love. This red shade is also super flattering and extremely glossy!

HOW TO LOOK GLOWY & AWAKE✨
My everyday makeup look is always with the goal of looking radiant and glowy because it always makes me feel more put together and confident ✨ Here are my go-to tips for looking more awake! 1) Eyebrows frame the face! benefit - Precisely, My Brow Pencil Waterproof Eyebrow Definer in 4 benefit - Gimme Brow+ Volumizing Eyebrow Gel in 4 I always use a brow pencil and/or brow gel to fluff up my brows and add some color and more definition. 2) Concealer = bonus hours of sleep! ESTĒE LAUDER - Double Wear Radiant Concealer in 2W No matter what kept you up last night, concealer always hides the evidence! It’s always one of the first things I do when applying my makeup because it instantly brightens under my eyes. 3) Double-up on the mascara! L'ORÉAL - Unlimited Length and Lift Waterproof Mascara Mascara lengthens and volumizes lashes which allow them to be a focal point of your look. Longer, thicker lashes also help to open up the eyes and defining them. 4) Add some blush/bronzer! NUDESTIX - Nudies All Over Face Color Bronze + Glow in Salty Siren & Terracotta Tan Adding color to the face always makes you look more youthful and radiant. I love to go a little heavier on the blush when my face is looking a little dull. I’m currently not into highlighter- but highlighter adds lots of glow too (duh!) 5) Optional: Sparkle RÓEN - 75° Warm Eye Shadow Palette I love a sparkly inner-corner highlight because it brings light and attention to the eyes and definitely makes them look bigger and more awake! Not everyone loves glitter or sparkle, but even a soft glowy champagne or satin finish eyeshadow can do the trick!
