All Curlers are the Same...right?

So, I used to think, an eyelash curler, was an eyelash curler, was an eyelash curler. I would pick one up at Walmart, and call it a day. I typically had to replace it once a year. After hearing how great this curler was, I thought, ok, I'll see what the big deal is. Well, I'll tell you. it curls, instead of crimping. it gets all my lashes instead of leaving a bunch on the end. It costs about twice as much as the one from Walmart...but I have had it for 4 years and counting. It does a better job, and it is more cost-effective...this is a winning tool all around

Makeup Tools I Can’t Live Without✨#CheriePartner
REAL TECHNIQUES - REAL TECHNIQUES Blush Brush My go-to brush for powder! I know it’s a blush brush but I love that it’s not too dense and is able to pick up the perfect amount of powder (AKA enough to dim any shine but not enough to completely mattify my skin). It’s also super inexpensive and can be found at most drugstores! it Cosmetics - Airbrush Dual-Ended Flawless Complexion Brush #132 My go-to brush for blush! The large side is fluffy, round and not too dense- so it applies a sheer amount of color to my cheeks and has the perfect shape for blending and buffing into the skin! It gives a super soft airbrushed effect to my blush. (I don’t really use the smaller side) NUDESTIX - NUDESTIX Blend & Buff Brush My favorite brush for bronzer/contour! The bigger side is dense and picks up a decent amount of product. The shape also allows it to “blend and buff” (LOL) bronzer into my skin without sheering it out too much into nothing. The smaller side is also perfect for contouring the nose (if that’s your thing) or for blending cream eyeshadow (what I use it for)! it Cosmetics - Airbrush Blending Crease Brush #105 The BEST brush for concealer! I know using a brush to blend in concealer is a bit controversial as I know MANY people prefer a sponge. But this brush literally airbrushes the concealer under my eyes and makes it look like I don’t have under-eye circles at all! shu uemura - Eyelash curler I don’t always curl my lashes but when I want a dramatic, long-lasting curl for every single lash, this is the one I go for! It grabs onto all my lashes and gives it a true curl. My tip is to curl three sections of the lash (once at the root, once in the middle and once at the ends) to create a real full curl like a “C” and not like an “L”.

EASY Kitten Eye 🐱 (Baby Wing) #CheriePartner
I love a winged liner look but sometimes I only want something subtle. A “Kitten Eye” or “Baby Wing” is always my go-to eye look for all kinds of occasions! Especially with everyone wearing masks nowadays, the first thing everyone sees are your eyes and this look is cute, flirty and definitely elongates your eyes! The main difference (to me) between a kitten eye and a cat eye is that a kitten wing is much smaller and and shorter compared to a cat eye winged liner. This kitten wing is only at the outer 1/3 of the eye whereas a cat eye wing would start from the inner corner of the eye and extend even further out! What you need: A liquid eyeliner (or sharpened eye pencil) DollyWink - DollyWink Liquid Eyeliner This Dollywink Liquid Eyeliner is my go-to eyeliner and has been a favorite for almost 8 years!!! I discovered it during my freshman year of high school and has always remained the best of the ones I have tried. It’s extremely long wearing, very waterproof, and high in pigment. I also prefer the brush tip over a felt tip! An eyelash curler shu uemura - Eyelash curler I’ve had this eyelash curler since middle school and have only changed out the pads twice since! It reallys hugs my eye shape and curls every. single. lash! It’s truly the best eyelash curler ever. A mascara MAYBELLINE - The Falsies Push Up Angel Mascara I have been LOVING this drugstore mascara! The plastic brush really helps to push up, curl and separate my lashes. It gives a really defined but fluttery effect on my lashes and is probably one of my favorite mascaras ever! How to draw the baby wing: (view 2nd pic!) 1) Using the liquid eyeliner, trace the outer 1/3 of your upper lash line. 2) Draw a thin line out following the direction of your bottom lash line. But not too long. 3) Starting from the outer point of the line your just drew, draw a third line bringing the wing back in. 4) Fill in the triangle! Tada! 5) Curl your lashes and apply mascara! Let me know if you try this out and whether you like it!

Finally found the best eyeliner brush in my life!
Finally found the best eyeliner brush in my life!
Eyeliner is an important part for eye makeup. It is the perfect instrument to reshape our eyes. Whether it’s a cat eye, winged eyeliner or eyeshadow eyeliner, it makes your eyes look bigger and prettier. My makeup can’t go without eyeliner. I almost wear eyeliner everyday. So I’ve tried a lot of eyeliner products, include many eyeliner brushes. Finally I found this perfect eyeliner brush I’ve ever used! It is the MAC #209 eyeliner brush. Highly recommend it to you all. I have always had a good impression of the mac brand. I think it is a professional makeup brand that provides quality makeup products. One day when I was shopping at MAC, looking for makeup brushes, a sales saw my delicate eyeliner, so she recommended this eyeliner brush to me very enthusiastically. She said that this fine tipped brush is capable of drawing precise even eyeliner and has firm strokes. I immediately fell in love with this brush after she gave me a try. It’s just like what she described! So I bought it. It costs $21, not cheap but also not that expensive comparing to other eyeliner brushes from designer brands. If you’re an eyeliner newbie, and you think it is unaffordable, you’d better choose eyeliner pencil. But if you’re adept at makeup, I believe this brush worth buying! Since I own this eyeliner brush, 90% of my eyeliner is done by it. The structure of this brush comprises of a wooden handle, nickel plated brass ferrules, and a synthetic fiber brush. It never shed or lost its shape even I wash it frequently. Its length is very easy to handle, and is easy to control when lining the eyes with this firm strokes but smooth feeling. It has thin bristles that provides a precise and clean finish. Applying the liner below the eyes is also very convenient with this brush. If you want a precise application of your regular eye liner this is the product for you!

Everyone can own sexy collarbone! EzEz😏
Everyone can own sexy collarbone! EzEz😏
Wear tight skirt and show charming collarbone is a wonderful thing. I can't imagine how many people will fall in love with this type! Many people try to lose weight and work hard to have attractive collarbone, but some of them failed. Our clavicles are actually related to the structure of our bones, so not every one has a clavicle. Shoulder exercises do reduce fat and tighten the lines, but do little to change the shape of the bones. But!!!!! The collarbone can really be drawn, and it's very simple! Why not try it? All you need is three. A brush, eyebrow powder and highlighter. First, drawing shadow according to the direction of clavicle growth above and under the collarbone. The shadow on the top is shorter than the shadow on the bottom, and the difference in length can make the clavicle lines look more natural. Finally, polish the clavicle with highlighter. Quite simple, right? You don't need to prepare painting tools that youtubers show online. Your cosmetics are your professional tools.

Eyeliner 101 - Liquid eyeliner & brushes
Eyeliner 101 - Liquid eyeliner & brushes
Personally, I am a little bit obsessed with liquid eyeliners. When I first started doing my eye makeup, gel liners are my favorite since they are often easier to use for first timers. I do use pen liners a lot these days, but I just found with a gel and brush, it is easier to get the perfect liner and wing I want. Here are my eyeliner brushes collections. These three are on the star product on the top of my liner brush list that helps me to get the This is actually the one that I used most often. I really like it. This brush is perfect for eyeliners or for cream brow products. It's so precise. Thin lines aren't a problem for this brush. This is a kind of angled slanted brush. This kind of brush lets you control the fluidity and movement of the makeup so you can draw the thinnest of lines. With this brush I can make my perfect eye wing and my eyebrows too! However If you are a beginner, this brush might scare you at first since It’s tricky to get that really nice wing at the end. With this you gonna need more practices. And you would found it your favorite one. The brush width is the perfect size . It is a slim, and sparse tipped brush. It puts my Fluidline on my waterline smoothly. Another great thing about this brush is that it allows precise application while also making a thick enough line that you don't have to go over the area multiple times. I found this brush works well with almost every products and formulas of liner: dry-to-wet, gel, and even a shadow stick. I like small brushes. This one is just super easy to control. 3 years ago, when I started with gel liner, this little brush is the only brush I dare apply gel eyeliner with. I would highly recommend this for beginners. It’s so easy to apply gel eyeliner with this brush as the bristles pick up the color and draw a clean line with no strays. Only $8! My go-to eyebrow pencil!

MAYBELLINE - Total Temptation Eyebrow Definer Pencil I happened to see this eyebrow pencil on the website talking about how great of an eyebrow liner it was. Out of curiosity I ordered it. The price was right. This was by far the easiest eyebrow pencil to use! I can easily make brushed up brows with it. I have found that I actually like it better than anything else I’ve ever used on my eyebrows! The angles that it creates, I never have to sharpen it, and I love the brush attached at the end… I can’t speak highly enough of this product. I will certainly be buying this again. I use the blonde color, and it is more like a medium/light brown color… In case you’re looking for something to compare it to.I think I've tried just about everything available to try to thicken my thin little eyebrows. It applies so easily and gives you total control. The little brush on the other end of the pencil blends perfectly and leaves you with a natural look. So far, it seems to stay put until I take it off and it goes on quick. Such a great time saver for your morning rush. What I really like with this product is it adds color to the actual hair in my brows and the skin underneath. Blends well. A BIG difference in how my brows look. I'll be buying more.It colors the faded brow hair when I pull the flat side of the pencil lightly over the no color hair in the direction it's growing. Go lightly with this product first; you can always go back for a second round. Highly recommended!

Mascara as Brow Gel - does it work?
Mascara as Brow Gel - does it work?
No two brows are the same, not even for our own brows, and that means that the process to achieving the “perfect” eyebrows is different for everyone. 😏 Brows that are well-groomed and natural looking are highly coveted. A trick I do when I am short on make-up products is to multi-use what I have. In this case, I sometimes apply mascara on your eyebrows. While there are specific brow mascaras in the market, I find that using lash mascaras also do the trick. Using a lash mascara in place of a brow gel can help to create a fuller more dramatic effect. To do that, apply a mascara or gel and then use a spoolie to brush through the brows for the fluffy, brushed-up look that has maximum definition. Since my hair is black, I lean towards using mascara shades that are hazel brown or dark brown. But since I only have a black mascara now, I use it very very lightly on my brows and sweep the color evenly across my brows for a more natural look. I am using Maybelline Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Washable Mascara in Very Black for my eye lashes now. Although the pigment may be too dark for the brows, I like the longer length of the mascara wand and thinner brushes of the lengthening mascara. The formula also helps conditions and smooths lashes with Pro-Vitamin B-5 – win-win! MAYBELLINE - Lash Stiletto Ultimate Length Mascara It is also easy to clean and remove at the end of the day as well. I apply my usual eye make-up remover on a cotton pad, press it against my brows for about 3 seconds and gently swipe the pad acrosss the product to remove it completely.

Bronzer doubling as eyeshadow
Bronzer doubling as eyeshadow
Something I like to do when I’m a) pressed for time b) lazy c) want the quickest eyeshadow look without trying to come up with a pretty, colourful colour scheme is add bronzer to my eyelids. I like this because it gives my eyes a wKe up call, but also achieves a depth that adds to the makeup look that easily achieves without the hassle of picking a colour scheme or even opening an eyeshadow palette. Ive done this with so many bronzers that I feel like any bronzer shade would work. My current bronzer is Too Faced - Sun Bunny Natural Bronzer and it works great as a light eyeshadow. Its not very pigmented, so easy to blend, and has a tiny shimmer so gives a subtle glow. The result of the shadow almost looks like a contoured lid, I feel like it even makes my eyes look bigger if I only apply from the crease and upwards to the brow bone.
