Easy Job Interview Glam
When it comes to my ~professional~ glam, I like to keep things minimal but still make sure to contour and highlight the appropriate areas – the goal is a soft glow that accentuates your features without looking too much. I think it’s also important to apply powder, especially if you’re like me and have oily skin and are prone to sweat when you get nervous lol. Keeping shine in mind, I like to opt for mattifying complexion products and powder formulas when it comes to bronzer, blush, and highlight - but these days, my favorite bronzers and blushes are cream formulations. For the eyes, I think all you need is a little sweep of mascara and/or liner depending on what you’re into. To really make them pop and elevate your look, I like to go in with a neutral eyeshadow to give the eyes more definition and make myself look more put together. And for the finishing touch, all you need is your favorite lipstick. I feel like any color goes and your glam can be a great way to let your personality shine through. These are the products I use: REVLON - Photoready Candid Glow Moisture Glow Anti-Pollution Foundation MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer MARC JACOBS BEAUTY - Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick – for a natural-looking contour, I like to warm the product up on the back of my hand and then I pick it up from there with an angled bronzer brush. MERLE NORMAN - Cheek Crayon - like with the contour stick, I recommend applying creme blushes to your hand first and picking it up from there. This gives you more control when you apply it and really helps you build it up to that natural-looking flush. I also love to add a little to my eyes to sub in for eyeshadow. Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder – if you're on the oilier side like me, I've found that you need to apply this powder all over and do so about 2-3 times. It's a little annoying, but it creates such a gorgeous glow that you really look airbrushed and it's totally worth it. PHYSICIANS FORMULA - Butter Highlighter – make sure you dab the excess off or you’ll look ~crazy~ glowy. I learned this the hard way. Charlotte Tilbury - Matte Revolution Lipstick
Double Eyeliner 🖤
I love the double eyeliner look, especially for hooded eyes like mine! Bought some new face makeup to try and get that flawless base! My opinion on a couple are below! Jouer - Essential High Coverage Liquid Concealer Color: Chiffon 🖤 So far I love this concealer! Very high coverage and didn’t crease under my eyes. Even covered some retinization (dry, red spots caused by skin getting used to using retinol treatment) that have been under my eyes. The dark spots under my eyes are still slightly visible. I’ve struggled with dark spots since childhood and have yet to find an effective, cake-free way to cover them completely! If you have experienced this or have any ideas let me know! FENTY BEAUTY - Match Stix Matte Skinstick Color: Amber 🖤 First cream contour I have used (I usually just stick with bronzer) and I loved it! Color was a great match and the formula was easy for me to blend. The only issue I had was after walking around outside in the hot sun (sweating) for an hour with my makeup on, when I got home I noticed my skin had tiny red bumps where I had placed the contour. Not sure why this happened, but it did clear up within 2 days.

Flawless Wedding Makeup Tutorial ⭐️
I just got married this past week, so I thought I would share how I did my makeup for my special day. I was going for a more natural/neutral look and focus on products that would hold up through my tears. My skin tone is fair with pink undertones My skin type is sensitive combo & acne prone EYES: SHADOW. The eyes are arguably the stars of the show. Eyes are also so personal—I have hooded eyes so I have to use darker shadows to manipulate my eye shape. I started off with Mac’s Paint Pot in Soft Ochre MAC - Pro Longwear Paint Pot Eyeshadow and set it with the Tartelette in Bloom Palette tarte - Tartelette In Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette shade “flower child.” Then I went in with “smarty pants” in my crease, creating a dramatic crease since my eyes are hooded. I continued deepening my crease and outer V with the shades “rebel” and “leader,” and blended out the upper edges with “charmer” on my brow bone. I mirrored the blend of “rebel” and “smarty pants” on my lower lash line. I finished off with “funny girl” on my lids! EYES: LINER + MASCARA: I feel like eyeshadow always looks a little funny until liner and lashes. I started off by giving myself a super thin line with the Urban Decay BLACK Perversion liner URBAN DECAY - Perversion Waterproof Fine-Point Eye Pen . I have ultimate control since it has a brush tip. Shake before use! Then, I decided to use the Urban Decay Subversion Lash Primer URBAN DECAY - Subversion Lash Primer Deluxe Sample I love this stuff! I finished off my lashes with Nars Climax NARS - Climax Mascara and the primer kept it LOCKED ON. FACE: I went a little rogue with my foundation and decided to try a sample I had of the Charlotte Tilbury - Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation and I fell in love. With my elf “flawless foundation” brush, I used the shade “1” and it was a little pale for me but I bronzed up using the Fenty powder bronzer FENTY BEAUTY - Sun Stalk'r Instant Warmth Bronzer in the shade “shady biz” and it worked perfectly with the Urban Decay blush brush. Then I went in and blended out the rare beauty blush in “grace” Rare Beauty - Soft Pinch Liquid Blush , and since that is a matte blush I went in with my Becca liquid highlighter on my fingers over it to brighten it up BECCA - Shimmering Skin Perfector Liquid Highlighter . NOTE: I didn’t use any setting spray or powder and makeup stayed on for 12+ hours! BROWS: my brows are pretty naturally full so I just lightly filled them in with e.l.f. - Ultra Precise Brow Pencil and e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel to hold them in place. LIPS: I also kept my lips simple since we wore masks all day—essence - Soft Contouring Lipliner all over and chapstick on top. #CheriePartner
Fav blushes for fair skin!
✨These 2 blushes are my absolute favorite my fair skin! I use them on myself & on my clients. One is shimmery & one is matte & they are different brands & price points! I love them both equally as they work perfect for my skin tone. ✨What are the claims? Laura Geller Baked Blush N Brighten creates a gorgeous flush, no matter the season. It starts as a cream 24 hour blush that is baked for 24 hours to ensure a smooth, lustrous, long wearing formula. In the shade Tropic hues, it has swirls of coral, pink & bronze. Mac Cosmetics Blush is designed by & made for professionals, formulated to provide fantastic Color with ease & consistency. Applies evenly, adheres lightly to skin to achieve a natural looking application of color. ✨The texture/Consistency of each is very different; the Laura Geller is very pigmented & easy to use, the product practically falls out of the pan it’s pressed so light! The Mac cosmetics, is harder to get out of the pan but pigmented just the same. ✨My thoughts? I’ve used both of these blushes for the past couple months & I love them equally! They both worth great & give me the best peach glow. My skin tone is very fair & these give me the perfect natural blush look without being too pink or too brown. I love using these ontop of my bronzer in the hollows of my cheeks for a glam look. I use them separate depending on when I want a matte or shimmery look. The Laura Geller is slightly more pink than the Mac cosmetics one. ✨Price Vs Size? Laura Geller is $29USD & Mac is $25 so they are a bit pricey but worth it! Bronzers Competition! Guess Which One Wins!
Which one do you prefer, bronzer of contour?🍀 I like the bronzer more than the contour as it helps with brightening my skin tone and contouring. So I picked 4 amazing contours out of my huge collection. If you have any other favorite contour, feel free to share with me. I also include a brief guide of how I apply my bronzer, blush and highlighter as the last photo in this post. So check that out! My makeup routine is as follows: Bronzer, blush, then highlighter. 1) The Too Faced Unicorn Collection has beautiful packaging. The powder boasts blue undertones, but the blue doesn't show on your face. It will only make your cheekbones looking magical. 2) The Physicians Formula has mostly shades that are for daily use, with only a little shimmer. It has a very natural contouring effect and comes with a powder puff which is very convenient. 3) Tarte is highly pigmented and brightens your face well. It can be used to create glittery makeup. 4) Bobbi Brown is a darker shade and has little shimmer, leaning more on the matte side, so it has great contouring effect.

I always wanted to try a darker version of NARS - NARS Blush, which was too pink for my liking, and now I am pretty sure I wouldn’t like it. NYX - Sweet Cheeks Creamy Powder Blush Matte in the shade Coral Pink just didn’t resonate with my spirit. It was just a little bit too bright for what I want my wintertime blush shades. (Yes, I know there are no seasonal makeup rules.) I also solidified that I am a matte blusher type lady. This new glow formula line has 12 different shades. This blush, which is one of their glow blushes, is pigmented. In the second photo, I showed what one finger swatched looked like in the top one and did another swatch with two layers directly underneath. The blush is a coral color with a slight golden-peach shift. If you were to wear this product, then I would recommend that you forgo your highlighter that day. It did blend well, I just didn’t like the color. If you like blushes with a glow, then you should definitely give it a try. Cost: $7.50. This product was sent to me.
✨The Perfect Blush ✨
One of the most beautiful blushes I have ever used is this one from NARS in the shade “Deep Throat”. This super silky, finely milled powder blush is the most gorgeous shade of life! It effortlessly blends into your cheeks, creating the most effortless, healthy, sexy skin glow. The shade “Deep Throat” is described as a peach shade with tiny flecks of gold throughout. In comparison, the iconic NARS blush “Orgasm” is described as more of a peachy pink. So in essence, “Deep Throat” is strictly peach in tone compared to “Orgasm”. I feel this blush is very natural looking; it’s just the most perfect flush of color, that can be built up. Even then, when built up, it never strikes me as being overpowering. I have been on the hunt for the perfect blush for the longest time & I truly feel this is it. It’s absolutely stunning & to be honest, my husband seems all the more amorous when I wear it. Which is not a bad thing at all 🥰 This NARS blush retails for $30 & I more than love it so much ✨NARS - NARS Blush
Liquid or Powder Blush?
NARS - NARS Blush SIZE 0.16 oz/ 4.8 g $39.00CAD I do understand why this blush is so popular. It's the perfect, subtle color that just about anyone can work with. This is by far my favorite blush. It's absolutely beautiful on the skin. it gives me a healthy glow and how flattering it is on my skintone. The color is very light but has a gold shimmer. I wear it almost every day and have bought several of them. I would say this is a pretty near-neutral-toned blush that's easily a subtle way to add a hint of liveliness to even your most minimal makeup days. I was worried it would be too dark, but it's perfect. It gives me like a sheer sun kissed color. Shimmery but no glitter chunks. Brightens up my face and lasts all day. Love this product. If you are looking for a long lasting every day blush, Orgasm won’t disappoint you. This blush is just sheer perfection and I'd highly recommend it. benefit - Dandelion Brightening Powder Blush Transition your beauty routine into summer by swapping in the classic powder blush for something creamier and dewier , like this Benefit blush. This creamy blush with skin-loving ingredients like moisturizing vitamin E and brightening vitamin C is the one that I have for years. It feels weightless on your skin, and just a bit of it goes a long way. One pump delivers the perfect amount of natural - looking color. However, it is also durable and ideal for mixing textures. That’s the advantage about liquid blushes. You can layer over powder blush for high - impact color, or apply first for a diffused effect. Go with the glow. It is best used before finishing powder. Would not recommend for combination or oily skin, since it would mess us with your foundation. I am a combination and use it mostly in Winter. I found it does make my makeup messing during hot Summers cus the texture is very creamy. That’s why I only give it for 3 stars. But the colour is gorgeous and it smooths out perfectly. One thing to notice here is that liquid blushes normally have a closer expiration date than powder ones, and it is best to use within a year after opening. You can still keep it for long. It will layer up under high temperature.
