A 2-Second Trick to Find Out Would U Look Good with Short Hair!
A 2-Second Trick to Find Out Would U Look Good with Short Hair!
Now that summer is here, you’ve been feeling tempted to chop off your long hair. And you’re always asking yourself everyday, “Would I look good with short hair?” Before you go to the salon in hurry. I recommend you to try this nifty trick to determine exactly how you’d look with a significantly shorter 'do.  The magic method, called The 2.25" Rule, was discovered by John Frieda, the legendary English stylist and founder of his own brand of hair care products of the same name. According to him, a ruler and a pencil are all you need in order to determine whether a short haircut will flatter your unique face shape. What you need: A ruler, a pencil and a mirror. Step 1: Stand in front of the mirror with the side of your face in view.  Step 2: Hold the pencil horizontally so that it’s touching your chin, and then position the ruler vertically beneath your ear so that the pencil and ruler intersect. Step 3: Next, measure the distance from the bottom of your earlobe to the top of the pencil.  What you’re looking for:  If it’s less than two and a quarter inches (about 5.7cm)  from your ear to the pencil, green light—short hair (like a chin-length bob) will look great on you. If it’s more than two and a quarter inches (about 5.7cm) , you may want to consider keeping a bit of length (think: a shoulder-grazing lob or longer). OK, but why is this true? Apparently, it’s less about face shape and more about the angle of your jawbone. There are exceptions to the rule, of course, but this is a good test if you’re toying with the idea of shorter hair. For those who are considering to have a hair cut! Long hair vs short hair – which do you prefer?

Sunless Tanning At Home🌞🌞🌞
Sunless Tanning At Home🌞🌞🌞
It's summer. I know. It's time to get tanned. But it's kind of hard for us to go out and get tanned at the beach. At least I would be worried about my health. And my skin get burted easily. So here are some tanning products you can use at home! If you want to get tanned without going out, you should give them a try! 1) CLARINS - Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster This is a self-tanner for both the face and body which is really easy to use! Just mix 2 to 3 drops with any skincare products to add an extra self-tanning benefit. I normally use it about 1 to 2 times a week on my face and mix it with my body lotion after showering. This Glow Booster offers really visible results and you can see a change in skin color after just two weeks of consistent use. 2) Palmer's Cocoa Butter Natural Bronze Gradual Tanning Body Lotion First of all, gradual tanners are unlike usual self-tanners which are more troublesome to use. Gradual tanners are actually just body lotion with a tanning effect. I really like the sweet chocolate scent of Palmer's Gradual Tanning Body Lotion. It's lightweight, spreads and absorbs easily, and contains vitamin E, so it's moisturizing but doesn't leave your skin greasy. 3) Le Tan Coconut Water Gradual Tanning Lotion This is my first gradual tanning lotion. It has a nice coconut scent, a heavier and thicker texture compared to Palmer's body lotion, but it also spreads easily. It can be used all year round. It offers better results when used together with the Golden Glow Booster. I will repurchase it! Note: Keep your skin dry after using a tanning product. If you're going to wear light-colored clothing, remember to wait until the lotion is fully absorbed. If you have any question regarding tanning at home, let me know😊 You can also share your own experience here!

🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️No More Wrinkled Skin! Anti-Aging 1v1! Which One Is Better?
🙅‍♀️🙅‍♀️No More Wrinkled Skin! Anti-Aging 1v1! Which One Is Better?
I have normal skin, so I want my skincare products to feel good on my skin, to be easily absorbed and to be non-greasy. I've been looking for anti-aging products which work really well. HERBIVORE - Bakuchiol Anti-Aging Serumand CHANTECAILLE - Bio Lifting Serum+ feature a plant-based formula with very mild ingredients. They're preservative-free and fragrance-free, so they're safe for sensitive skin. Herbivore's Serum is a plant-based retinol alternative serum formulated with powerful botanical ingredients, and paired with PHAs (Polyhydroxy Acids) to gently exfoliate skin and effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles. It is scent-free and has a watery texture which is easy to spread, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky. Chantecaille's Serum has more ingredients, all of which are natural and gentle plant extracts. It is paired with hexapeptide which, comparable to botox, works to improve the visible appearance of firmness, smoothness, and facial plumpness, and smooths out wrinkles. Besides, it contains caffeine that can help reduce facial puffiness, raspberry extract as an anti-oxidant and also Chantecaille signature pure rosewater. All of the above are anti-aging ingredients that effectively reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Peptide and retinol are both skin-friendly ingredients that are mild and suitable for all skin types. But Chantecaille has a better formula with an even stronger anti-aging effect. In conclusion: Pick Herbivore if you're looking for an entry-level anti-aging skincare product and pick Chantecaille if you place a higher requirement on anti-aging and if your budget allows. Will you try these? What's your fav anti-aging serum?😊

Come On SkinCeuticals👎👎👎👎👎
Come On SkinCeuticals👎👎👎👎👎
I have normal skin but I use a gel mask every day, so today I'm going to share a few gel masks I dislike: SKINCEUTICALS - PHYTO CORRECTIVE MASK Calming Face Mask For Blotchy Skin and SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Mask If you have looked at the ingredients and effects advertised, you'll see it contains olives and a high concentration of restorative and moisturizing ingredients which help reduce skin redness and skin sensitivity, among others. But in reality, it does nothing. The corrective mask didn't soothe my skin or reduce my skin redness, and it even irritated my skin. On the other hand, the Hydrating B5 mask dries up my skin and failed as a daily moisturizing face mask. At first, I thought it didn't work due to my normal skin condition but after trying it out again when I got sunburned, it still didn't show any result in soothing or reducing skin redness. It doesn't feel good on the face and is not absorbed at all! Besides, these two gel masks, especially the Hydrating B5 mask, are super hard to wash off. They just stick to my face like paint. Strongly not recommended.💢💢 How do you like SkinCeuticals? 😐

I love using both products but I'll DEF buy...👆👆👆
I bought two products recently: Timeless Squalane Oil andHABA - Squalane l. I have normal skin, and I don't have much skin problems. After using both for a while, here is how I felt.  Squalane: The hydrolipidic film is a protective film on the surface of our skin that plays a very important role in protecting and retaining the water of our skin. 12% of its composition is squalene, but squalene is unstable, so it is generally added to skin care products in the form of squalane. Squalane beauty oil is a natural skin moisturizer and skin barrier oil. Ingredients: Both contain 100% squalane, are preservative-free, scent-free, alcohol-free, and mild. Timeline Squalane Oil is extracted from olives while HABA Squalane II first generation was extracted from shark liver but then got changed to being extracted from plants in the HABA Squalane second generation. Feeling: It's a little greasy at first, but it's moisturizing once fully absorbed. It's really suitable for severely dry skin. The Timeline Squalane Oil is more watery than the HABA Squalane II. If you squeeze a drop of both on the back of your hand, you can see that the Timeless Squalane Oil has a more runny consistency and spreads more easily. Instructions: Normally, I'll mix the squalane oil together with a toning lotion before applying them both to my face. You can also mix the squalane oil together with some lotion, facial cream, or body lotion. Issues with dry skin caking can be solved by mixing the squalane oil together with a liquid foundation. Squalane is relatively stable as you can finish it within two years after opening. In conclusion, I love using both products but I'll definitely buy the Timeless Squalane Oil considering its lower price. Everyone should buy according to their own skin condition and purchasing power.

Social distancing skincare routine
Social distancing skincare routine
I figured the quarantine period is a good time to restart, reboot, let my skin breathe so once this is all over, my skin will thank me for letting it go with very minimal makeup and skincare products. Hereare my go-to products during the lockdown period. Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser It’s a gentle cleansing gel that takes away excess makeup after the first cleanse. I like that it’s super gentle and is fragrance-free so it’s perfect for extra sensitive skin like mine. If I have a fully made-up face with mascara and all the works, I need a first cleanse to take out the waterproof makeup off then I follow it with this cult product from Glossier. It doesn’t leave my face dry and feeling tight after every cleanse so it’s a win win! Pixi Glow Tonic I discovered this product from my skincare-obsessed sister, and since then I never stop using this toner. I have a sensitive, dry combination type of skin, plus I get psoriasis flare-ups when I’m stressed out or when I don’t eat healthy food. You can imagine how difficult it is for me to balance out everything I use on my skin to make sure it stays healthy and flawless-looking. I use pixi Glow Tonic toner to chemically take off excess dead skin that’s been lurking on top of my skin. This product does the trick! After a few uses, I noticed that there’s dry skin coming off of my face. That means the product is working. It takes off dead skin cells and renews them to give you a nice healthy glow. I top it off with a layer of moisturizer to keep my face plumped. I adore this product! Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream I love putting on moisturizers on my face. I have about 5 different variants that I switch around depending on my facial skin’s state on any given day. During the lockdown period, I notice myself constantly reaching out to Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream because of its creamy but lightweight consistency that keeps my face moisturized all day. I’m in front of my laptop all day inside my flat with the air conditioning on so the environment is dry hence, I need products that make my skin as hydrated and healthy as it can be. This hyped product does the trick.

CHANEL - ROUGE ALLURE VELVET EXTREME Intense Matte Lip Colour The most favourite lipstick in my collection. I bought this limited edition colour a while back and I can’t be more happy with this purchase. I wear it so much it has become my signature color lolll HUDA BEAUTY - Power Bullet Matte Lipstick Throwback Collection these lipsticks are so rich and pigmented. This is probably my most fave from huda beauty collection. I have tried their liquid lipsticks as well but I like these bullet lipsticks more. lilah b. - Divine Duo Lip & Cheek this multi tasking gorgeous looking pebble is so handy and I always carry it with it. I mostly use it as a blush because this colour looks so good on skin and gives natural glow to skin😍.
