Skincare routune for combo/ acne prone skin.
If you are like me that never had acne and started breaking out like crazy. Or you simply been dealing with acne for a little bit. You know you have every product on the face of this earth just trying to clear your skin. Spent all that money we had no business spending. im here to tell you. Simplicity is key. Repeat after me: SIMPLICITY IS KEY lol So my goal is to go through all products that i have and repurchase my absolute favs (gonna take a while) We learn as we go. And this is what I have learnt • fix your diet. (No it doesn’t clear your skin) but it helps. What that means is less fatty and more water. I’ve always had very simple diet but when over quarantine, i had nothing to do but eat and thats when I started breaking out. I don’t eat super clean but i eat better. • less is more •stick to a routine. Find what works, it takes time but listen to your skin and make changes. I have included in the pictures, my morning, night and peel routine. Questions are welcome ☺️ MORNING CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser

One Week Using Differin
Experience: I started using Differin about a week ago to deal with my maskne and dark spots. Ever since I started wearing masks more frequently, my skin has essentially freaked out. It’s super sensitive and dry, especially around my mouth, but I get cystic-like acne along the area where my mask touches my face. I decided that I was going to try Differin as my last resort before going to the dermatologist (cause I’m still nervous about going to doctor’s offices, unless absolutely necessary because of covid). The instructions recommend daily use; however, I began my first week by using it every other day since I’ve had negative experiences/reactions with other active ingredients before. Since then, I’ve begun using it every night. I use this in the evening after cleansing and applying moisturizer and Aquaphor’s healing ointment. Pros: I definitely already see a visible improvement in my skin, especially with the hyperpigmentation that I’ve dealt with. I do use other products that help with brightening, but I’ve been using those products for quite a while and haven’t seen such a drastic improvement until now. Cons: I experienced a few small breakouts around my chin, but they went away pretty quickly. I have yet to experience any significant purging/dryness, but I also didn’t jump immediately to daily use. Other Products I Use + Frequency: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser (everyday, AM/PM) DRUNK ELEPHANT - Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser(everyday to remove sunscreen, PM) The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA(every other day, alternate between this and the next product/AM) The Ordinary - Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%(every other day, alternate between this and the previous product/AM) DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream (everyday, AM/PM) DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Sheer Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30(everyday, AM) Aquaphor - Healing Ointment Skin Protectant(everyday, use as a lip balm and to protect sensitive areas of my skin when applying Differin)
Transitioning Into My Winter Skin Care! ❄
So technically, I never even transitioned into my "Fall skincare" this year. Where I live, the fall months don't usually get that cold. For the most part, i've been using the same products I was using in the Summer. And that was a mistake! For the past few weeks it's been really dry outside, and eventually resulted in a disruption of my moisture barrier. My cheeks, and especially the area around my eyes felt super tight, and even got cracked and flakey. Lets Talk Cleansers! I LOVE the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser . It will always be a holy grail for me, 365 days a year. This restores and hydrates my skin, and my go-to morning cleanse. I believe in cleansing twice a day, but the morning cleanse should be with a simple, gentle cleanser. Cleansing can be really harsh for the skin, and using a foaming or treatment cleanser twice a day can stir up trouble! Another good one is the PAULA'S CHOICE - Defense Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser . This one works better as a second cleanse, to help remove makeup. It foams up, and claims to remove makeup. In my opinion, it doesn't work that well without an oil cleanse or micellar water beforehand. This cleanser isn't AS hydrating but still really good and makes my skin soft. Unlike CeraVe, this one this one has a triple-superfood complex, and antioxidants! Lately, I've been oil cleansing, then going in with the Paulas Choice cleanser, & then the CeraVe one, as my night time routine. Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize! Even if you have oily skin, moisturize! My go-to moisturizers are the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion as well as the VERSED - DEW POINT Moisturizing Gel-Cream . Both of these products I LOVE. They are perfect for acne-prone skin, & at a decent price point. But now... I'm going to start incorporating a more hydrating, heavier moisturizer, like the CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream . I'm very picky about heavy moisturizers because my pores are easily clogged. CeraVe is always a reliable brand I can count on to have simple, non-irritating products that get the job done. (And DOESNT clog pores.) Another good one is the PAULA'S CHOICE - Omega + Complex Serum . This one is technically a serum but works like a moistuizer. It's very light but super hydrating & moisturizing! It has robust levels of Omega 3, 6 and 9 for calm, stronger & healthier skin. It also has ceramides, Hyaluronic Acid & Shea Butter. Surprisingly, the Shea butter in this does not clog my pores. Hyaluronic Acid! I don't own a sole Hyaluronic Acid serum, but I use the The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA . This is really good at hydrating and plumping my skin. And it calms & depuffs any inflammation I may have. I like that it's paired with Alpha Arbutin so this serum also fades dark spots & brightens my skin. Plus, these two ingredients can be paried with almost any other active, so it's easy to include this serum in a any routine.
New & Improved Skin Care Routine *Bliss Line*
I’m just starting to research my products and I was extremely unsatisfied with what I had found in my current products. I’ve heard really good things about this line. I was really attracted to the lack of fragrance and super stripping chemicals. To start off let me tell you about my skin. I have struggled with dry skin for most of my life and my t-zone and chin are not only my dryers areas but they are also where I get the most acne. Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s just the overproduction of oil since I’m so dry and as the weather gets colder/dryer it gets worse. I usually get a new pimple once every two-three days. Knowing this I was looking for cleansers and toners that would help me manage the breakouts and a serum and moisturizer that will help me keep my skin soft and hydrated. Here are the products I bought along with first impressions after my first use :) bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Gel Cleanser - This cleanser feels really gentle on my skin but it also gets the job done. My skin felt refreshed and clean but not dry. I didn’t feel like I needed to get my moisturizer on quickly before my skin dried out which is usually a challenge. bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum - Over all I really enjoyed this toner. I wasn’t expecting it to be a gel but it did feel very soothing on my skin. The directions recommend using a cotton pad to apply but did feel like I had to pump out a lot to cover my whole face. I also had a lot of product squirt out from under my cotton pad when I was using the pump so I’m not super thrilled with the design. bliss - Ex-Glow-Sion Moisturizer - This has been the best moisturizer I’ve tried and at an amazing price point as well. It goes on light but doesn’t leave my skin needing more. It’s been several hours now and my face still feel soft. Conclusions: Bliss says they can clear your skin in two weeks. I’m going to be updating you guys in a week to let you know what results I’m seeing. I’m also going to be purchasing the bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Liquid Peel because exfoliation is a must for me. I’m really excited to see what happens!
Skin Care Beginner here :)
Hey guys! I have very oily skin and it’s very sensitive! Here’s what I’ve been doing.. Neutrogena - Liquid , Facial Cleansing Formula This is what I have used for years. It’s the only thing I’ve ever been able to use that hasn’t broke me out! I use this every morning & every night. I can’t live without it!! MARIO BADESCU - Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater I know there’s mixed reviews, but this stuff, to me, is amazing! I use it every night right after I get out the shower. Neutrogena - Visibly Even, Daily Moisturizer with Sunscreen, SPF 30 I use this every morning and every night also. I’m new to this product but it has already done amazing things. I have Melasma on my forehead and this has helped me. bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Liquid PeelNow this product I’m told has the same ingredients as The Ordinary brand. However, I’ve never used either. I will keep you updated :) bareMinerals - Clay Chameleon Transforming Purifying Cleanser I also just started using this product. I use it every night. So far so good! I am new to skincare. I was always the one to never wear sunscreen 🥴 I am so excited to start my journey! I would appreciate any and all tips any of you may have 😁
I really really need help
Ok so I have no idea whats going on with my skin. I struggle with hyperpigmentation. Wether i pop my pimples or not, It will usually end up scaring or turning darker. Its like a vicious cycle and I cant seem to get my skin clear before my period and the whole pimple and scaring starts again. So I decided to change my routine, since my old one was not doing anything beneficial for my skin. Believing the hype I decided to get “The ordinary products because I dont have to wallet to afford more expensive items and I dont even live in America to shop freely for the items i need. Here my current routine innisfree - Volcanic Clusters Pore Clearing Facial Foam FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Meltaway Cleansing Balm YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser On alternate days ill use The Ordinary - Lactic Acid 5% + HA The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution And lastly The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Azelaic Acid Suspension 10% CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I use the niacinimide before the Hyaluronic acid, and i only use one of the 2 listed cleansers Im not sure if im putting to much on my face but Im feeling really hopeless and i would love if someone explained what is happening to me. Ive obviously purged when i used these products but now my skin is acting like it’s breaking out. Its been almost exactly a month and i dont see any difference in my skin
I used to use the OLE HENRIKSEN - Truth Juice Daily Cleanser and I barely used to get pimples but it dried my skin out as hell so i started a new routine around 2 months ago and this is what it is: CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I love the way it leaves my skin glowy and with a nice texture however as you can see I have a big pimple so idk if it’s bc of that or what but yeah. I tried the foaming cleanser bIt it made me break out with tiny pimples so I stopped. Used to use the lactic acid but I changed to glycolic ages ago. The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% The Ordinary - Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 Sometimes I use CeraVe - SA Smoothing Cleanser CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin I have dry skin but I guess it’s more prone to acne too. Any advice would be great I just want my skin to look nice again 🥺

Winter Routine for DRY Skin
My cheeks have been SO dry lately. It’s been a struggle to keep my sensitive combo skin hydrated with the change in weather. I’ve thus made a couple swaps from my summer routine to keep my skin moisturized and not flakey. 🌬I swapped my trusty jojoba oil in the morning for a light application of Dr. Jart+ - Ceramidin Cream (I use about half the amount I use at night- just enough to get an even layer) 🌬I went back the old CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser from their new CeraVe - Hydrating Cream-To-Foam Cleanser . Although I like the new version better, I just need every scrap of hydration I can get right now. 🌬Lastly, I recently started applying a thin layer of Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment over my cheeks at night (post on this coming soon!) In short, my routine is now: 🌤 rinse, hydrating toner, moisturizer, spf 🌙 double cleanse, moisturizer*, ointment as needed *I swap my Ceramidin for MAELOVE - Night Renewer 2x / week
HOW TO GET YOUR MAN ON A SKIN CARE ROUTINE!💞
Me being the skin care junkie that I am, my boyfriend is forced to listen to me rant about products, sales, ingredients, & my good (and bad) skin days. Eventually, I dragged him into liking it to! (kind of). I've peaked his interest...and now he understands the concept & importance of skin health. Eventually he started a routine, & now enjoys it! He has resilient, combo skin with an occasional blemish, but overall his skin is pretty good! He just needs the basics, no crazy treatments or harsh products. Just a cleanser, SPF, and moisturizer. He's been using the CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser , the CeraVe - PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion and the CeraVe - AM Facial Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 The cleanser isn't abrasive & stripping like his previous Neutrogena Deep Scrub! 😳 Also, the Niacinamide & Hyaluronic Acid in these reduced his pores, redness, & smoothed his skin. And now he's using SPF too!! 😆 These are fast absorbing, light-weight, quality products perfect for his skin! 💯 I promise, they're ways to get your man to start a skin care routine too, without forcing him to watch Hyram... Don't over-complicate it! 🗯 Simple is best. You don't want to overwhelm him, or make it seem long & time-consuming. Don't choose products with girly packaging! 💟 If he's into it, then go for it! But most of the time those girly, shiny products with cute names don't sound appealing to them. Especially just getting into it. He needs to realize it's about skin health!🏥 Let him know its just a way of taking care of yourself. And that makeup and skincare are different things! Because my boyfriend would mix them up all the time. I honestly don't think he knew the difference...which made him more hesitant. Do it together!👥 If you guys live together, start dedicating time in the bathroom before you go to bed to just unwind. Have him try your products, or do a skin care routine together! Make it enjoyable and a memorable experience, so it sets a positive impression. Consistently show him products and explain what they do! 🧴🧼 What peaked my boyfriends interest was me talking to him about products all the time, & what they fix! I would catch him complaining about his skin over a pimple or redness, and I would tell him about an ingredient or product that would help that issue. It intrigued him! Consider fragrance free, light-weight products that fit his skin type! ✅ The biggest complaint I hear from guys and skin care is that it feels greasy, heavy, or sticky. The purfumey smell is a big one too. So avoid those things. And make sure to talk to him about his skin type & properly match what products would be best for him! Make sure he STAYS on the routine. Remind him about it, & don't forget to compliment his skin! 💞 I still try to remind my boyfriend, but at this point he always remembers. Also, COMPLIMENT his skin!! If he's starting a routine, he wants to know you see results. He wants to look good in your eyes!

My Holy Grail Rotorua Warm Facial Mud Mask
Hey Beauty’s Happy Selfcare Sunday! 😊 I’ve been posting New Zealand 🇳🇿 products lately and thought I’d highlight a warm mud mask. 😉 Wild Ferns Rotorua say, the Mud has natural cleansing, antiseptic, healing and rebalancing properties because of its volcanic origin. Major minerals present in Rotorua Mud include silica, magnesium, calcium, titanium, iron, sulphur, phosphorus, sodium and potassium. Rotorua Mud is excellent for use in regenerative skin care as it has a very strong affinity for moisture. Rotorua's geothermal mud is often used to deeply cleanse, heal and rebalance the skin, which makes it a powerhouse skincare ingredient. Ingredients include: 🧚♀️ PEG-8, a clear, colorless liquid that is water-soluble and water-binding (humectant) 🧚♀️ Zeolite, absorbent and mattifier 🧚♀️ Bentonite, it’s in AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clayand great for absorbing oil 🛢 🧚♀️ PEG-75, . It binds, softens and moisturises 🧚♀️ Sodium Phosphate, helper ingredient that sets the pH of a cosmetics formula to the right value 🧚♀️ Kaolin Clay, it’s absorbent and can suck up excess sebum and gunk from your skin 🧚♀️ Ginger Root Oil, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties 🧚♀️ Clove Flower Oil is a powerful anti-aging ingredient used in most cosmetics 🧚♀️ Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf Oil, Cinnamon Essential Oil is reputed to calm dry skin Apply a layer of your mask to your clean (damp) face and let it sit for the recommended time. Don’t leave your face mask on so long that the product is bone dry. Take the mask off when it begins to dry but still feels a little sticky, any longer and you risk drying out your skin. My thoughts 💭 I have mature, oily/combination skin and I’ve been using the Mask sporadically for over 15 years. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I purchased two new packs from New Zealand 🇳🇿 to use as a consistent mask in my routine. Never know when I’ll be allowed to travel for a holiday so I stocked up. 😁 ✅ On drying, the mud will generate heat, increasing the blood circulation and perspiration that help eliminate toxins and other wastes. This is what excites me! The warm feeling gives a little something extra that’s not common in other Clay masks. ✅ It absorbs excess oils from your skin’s pores, my skin feels smoother after use. ✅ The mud dries on the skin to help promote the regeneration of new cells. ⛔️ Do not allow to dry to a complete white/grey colour Rotorua Mud is my holy grail. I’ve mentioned I grew up bathing in Rotorua thermal pools as a child, I’ve been using the springs and mud as a skincare staple since I was a child. No surprise that I rate it 5 stars and would recommend to any one with oily or combination skin 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you’d like a chance to receive a Wild Ferns Rotorua Warm Mud Pack, can you let me know by liking this post ✅ It’s nearly December and I’ll run a NZ product giveaway if peeps are interested. No brand or sponsors are affiliated with my giveaways. 😉 Have a wonderful day! Jade
Indian Healing Clay
I have blackheads on my T-zone, more specifically: forehead, nose, and chin, where I have medium sized visible pores. I bought this product last week, mostly because I was hoping it would help me with my blemishes, but I didn’t expect to like it this much. I used it today for the first time and left it on my face for 20 minutes. After I washed it off with a damp towel, my skin felt so smooth. It clarified my skin and pores and just made my skin feeling so soft to the touch. And my pores look visibly much cleaner as well. My face did turn red for like 10 minutes with just a hint of tingling for a couple minutes but on the back of its container it is said that it’s normal. Honestly it was my first time using it and i saw this much results, so I will definitely use it again.AZTEC SECRET - Indian Healing Clay

Daytime skin care routine!
I like to keep my daytime routine super simple. First I wash my face with YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE - Superfood Antioxidant Cleanser which is I find perfect for my combination skin! Non stripping but yet still makes my skin feel clean. SUMMER FRIDAYS - CC Me Vitamin C Serum I’ve used this for almost 2 months. I only rated it a 3 star because honestly I don’t see it making a huge change in my skin. It does brighten and help with dullness a little. but I don’t see a change in my dark spots. I will use this up but I wouldn’t be re buying it. I’m personally just not a huge fan of it. GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture CreamI recently just got this hence why I didn’t rate it! It smells amazing just like bananas. It’s nice medium thickness moisturizer. So far I don’t find it super thick on my skin and it doesn’t make my t zone look oily. From what I’ve tried I’d rate it a 4 star. I don’t think this will be enough moisture for me once winter comes but I do think this will perfect for summer. Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 I love this sunscreen doesn’t make my face feel oily and doesn’t break me out. Also I love using this under makeup. If you don’t like siliconey feels then i don’t think you’d like this.
Let’s talk SPF
I had received Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 in one of my birch boxes. I finally ran out of my other sunscreen I was using. I love the way this feels on my skin. It dries down quickly. It feels almost powdery on the skin, which I don’t mind. As someone with sensitive skin, this doesn’t irritate my skin. Also the product is clear. The product claims it can be used as a makeup primer. I haven’t used it as such, so if you have let me know how it worked out. I only gave it a 4/5 because a full sized bottle is almost $50 which for me is a bit pricey for a sunscreen. So a little update: I’ve been using this for a week. This is the minimum amount of time before I’ll review something, you know to either have it start working or see if my skin will react. I know, I know I should be patch testing before anyone says anything. After a week of use my skin started itching and breaking out like nothing I’ve seen before. Thank god it came in a sample size in a birch box because I would have been slightly annoyed if I purchased this for $45 and my skin reacted this way. I’ll be passing this on to someone who can use it. Any suggestions on a new sunscreen?
My current skincare routine consists of CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser, then up&up - Deep Cleaning Pore Treatment at night, then Bio-Oil - Multiuse Skincare Oil, and finishing it off at CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin. I want to add The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%into my routine but I'm not sure where it fits in or how to apply the product. I am new to serums like that. Any recommendations? All and any input is wanted!! Thank you.
CeraVe-Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin
review my skin routine (dry/eczema prone skin) ✨
step 1. CeraVe - Hydrating Face Cleanser For Normal To Dry Skin Best face wash for dry/eczema prone skin, recommended to me by very single doctor, dermatologist and skincare specialist step 2. The Ordinary - Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is formulated to help with hyperpigmentation (which i have loads of due to my pesky skin picking habit). isn’t abrasive or burning towards the skin. step 3. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% has helped a lot with my acne scares, but hasn’t really helped with my large pores. step 4. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin HOLY GRAIL FOR DRY SKIN. really lightweight and absorbing makes my skin soft and has helped my dry skin. step 5. Neutrogena - Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100 this is a pretty basic sunscreen i haven’t been going out in the sun too much so i don’t know if it’s working but it has lightened some of my acne scares/prevented them. i’m looking for batter one but this is the only one i have extras: The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution has legit made it so my skin doesn’t get massive pimples or breakouts anymore. burns the first time but it’s nothing i couldn’t handle and i have pretty sensitive skin. sometimes i use this as a spot treatment for 10 min. DHC - Deep Cleansing Oil i use this when my skin feel really dry and it always softens the texture of my face. can be used for double cleansing or oil cleansing which really gets rid of sebum in the pores

☀️AM Skincare Routine
Hey guys! I wanted to share my AM skincare routine to see if anyone might have any suggestions for me, and to help others out! A background on my skin: My skin is very sensitive and can be acne-prone, but typically does very well with my current skin care routine. I also have combination skin, with some dry areas but I also have large pores on my cheeks (thanks genetics). Products: -CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin I LOVE this face wash! It really cleanses my skin, but I don’t find that it dries me out. I think it works really well for sensitive skin. -PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator This is a product that I think has truly transformed my skin! It has noticeably made my skin much smoother than it was before I started using this product, I highly suggest it to anyone with acne-prone skin. I use this product 5 times per week. -Neutrogena - Rapid Clear, Stubborn Acne, Daily Leave-On Mask I like using a BHA and Benzoyl Peroxide combo to prevent acne. I think this product is fine for a Benzoyl Peroxide product, but would certainly be open to new suggestions! -CeraVe - Daily Moisturizing Lotion For Normal To Dry Skin This is the BEST lotion I have ever used on my face! I find it to be great for my sensitive skin, and I love how hydrated and glowy it makes my face look throughout the day. -CeraVe - Eye Repair Cream I really like this eye cream because the second ingredient is Niacinamide, which is great for under the eyes due to its brightening and soothing qualities! -PURITO - Centella Green Level Unscented Sun SPF50+ I really do love this SPF and use it daily, the ingredient list is amazing, and it smooths onto my skin so nicely. I do think that it may cause me to break out sometimes on my cheeks though. So other SPF suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

review my (skin care) routine🥰!
hey guysss💞 , this is my skin care routine !! ofc i dont use every one of these products everyday but they are all part of my routine. cleanser : Cetaphil - Daily Facial Cleanser i personally think this cleanser is okay , its gets the job done n cleanses my face without it feeling stripped but at the same time i dont feel super clean after using it but , ofc , if thats what your looking for, it works . also , i dont think it has had a big impact on my acne so keep that in mind . micellar water (idk what else to call this step😅) : GARNIER - SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Water i dont use this super often but it is useful when i do need to . i use this after i cleanse my face but still feel like there may be more dirt n oil trapped in my skin n it doesnt tighten my skin at all !! toner : The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution idk about this one yall.. i had such high expectations for this toner but i havent seen any rlly big difference . but it did rlly good at removing dead skin n evening my skin so theres that :) i use this every other night moisturizer(s) : Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion i dont use this on my face as much as their Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream just because i personally like a thicker cream to feel rlly moisturized n feel like i actually have enough on. but both are good just depending on the consistency you prefer and you skin type.(ex. if you have oily skin i wouldnt recommend a thick moisturizer like the moisturizing cream) dark spot corrector : POND'S - Facial Moisturizers Clarant B3 - Normal to Dry Skin i use this every other night also just cus i dont want to overdue it since its kinda oily but it works rlly good to get rid of dark spots . im kinda waiting until i get rid of my fungal acne before i use this but whenever i feel like putting it on it works pretty good. chemical exfoliator : The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution idk maybe im just not seeing it but this isnt my HOLYGRAIL like everyone says just yet. it burns bad when i put it on my face n ive had it for about 2 months now . if u have a low pain tolerance , i dont think this would be the best . but i gave it 4 stars because it may have played a part in evening my skin tone but im not 100% positive. mask : FREEMAN - Dead Sea Minerals Facial Anti-Stress Mask this is almost empty n ive had it for about 9 months now , but it hasn’t helped with my acne. i believe it has helped my fungal acne tho a little bit so if you want to try it, its like $3 at drugstores :) spot treatment : ACNE FREE - Terminator 10 i use this ofc when a stubborn pimple wants to pop up. when i put this on my pimples it kinda flattens it but does fully get rid of it for me so theres that. thats my routine ! ty for reading n comment what u think😙

Birth Control Rebound Skin Savers
I resent it quit my birth control (the kyleena IUD) and my skin freaked out. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures but I started breaking out in hormonal acne and little bumps all over my chin and forehead. And here’s the routine that helped support my skin CeraVe - Hydrating Facial Cleanser I use this product morning and night to gently cleanse. I’d like to give this more stars but I’ve only been using it for about a month and I’m still not COMPLETELY converted. I love how hydrating and gentle it feels on the skin, it doesn’t damage my skins moisture barrier and I never feel stripped and tight after cleansing. However it doesn’t seem like it would work very well to remove an oil cleanser and additionally I feel like I need to cleanse longer when my skin is oily but since I mostly break out due to dryness I like it. CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin A classic holy grail for a reason. It’s super moisturizing, skin barrier friendly, doesn’t break me out and is just all around a great product. I use this morning and night The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I use this every 2-3 days at night time to exfoliate. It helps get rid of texture and dark spots and works very well, however; it causes a bit of a tingling/stinging sensation since my skin is super sensitive but it goes away within a minute. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Combats sensitivity, and inflammation and helps sooth redness which is amazing for healing breakouts. I will say I’m sure it’s doing it’s job but you won’t see any drastic overnight differences COSRX - Natural BHA Skin Returning Emulsion The BHA and centella asiatica extract in this are an amazing combination for any acne or blackheads. This changed the appearance of the bumps on my forehead and chin overnight. It’s super gentle and feels great on the skin. This is one of my favourite products COSRX - Master Patch Combo Just like the BHA toner this product is amazing especially because I have the awful habit of picking my skin. These draw out all the hung and impurities and blend into the skin so much better than I thought they would. They also have a bit of a blueing effect on the spot so it hides the angry redness and they are even great for day wear. These get rid on any problem spots practically over night. Kiehl's - Super Fluid Daily UV Defense SPF 50+ Sunscreen is nonnegotiable for me especially because I’m so prone to dark spots. This one is super lightweight and doesn’t smell like sunscreen which is great but I think it’s a little over priced. It’s still a great product though FOREO - LUNA mini 2 This cleansing brush is amazing. I’ve been using it for 4 years and It helps clean out your pores and leaves your looking super dewy and fresh
