A wonderful warm toned eyeshadow palette with four mattes and six shimmers. Another great eyeshadow palette by Ohii Beauty that is great for people who want to start using more color in their looks. I don’t use this as much as their Magic Hour eyeshadow palette but I’ve been starting to use it more lately. Really pigmented, easy to blend, no fallout. ohii - Treasure Shadow Palette

This eyeshadow palette is so great for people who want to start experimenting with color but are a little nervous to. There are 10 shimmery shades in the palette and are fairly cool toned. My favorite two shades are tigereye and peridot. All of these colors can be worn as a one color wash across the whole eyelid and create a full look. You could also mix them up and get creative, but I’m terrible at doing eyeshadow so for me it’s one and done 😂 These are all easy to blend and last all day. ohii - Magic Hour Eyeshadow Palette

🍓ColourPop 'Strawberry Shake'
🍓ColourPop 'Strawberry Shake' Palette . So now that they've covered most of the primary colors, they seem to be circling through the spectrum a second time. We've landed on.... pink! I'm happy because I'm green eyed and pink is a flattering color on me. Although I wish that they would've went with some cooler pinks. I was saying last week that I would really like a mauve/dusty rose themed palette. Actually any cool tones would be dope. Amethyst/royal blue/lavender, seafoam/mint green etc. Anyway. I'm digging the palette so far. I love the shades Woke, Delish and Shake it Up. I feel like I could do a really pretty look in 5 minutes using just those 3 shades. Also the packaging is super cute with the little strawberry details.

I’ve always wanted to play wit
I’ve always wanted to play with brushes from Zoeva. I’ve have their Strobe Gel in Halo & Corona which I already love. So I was super excited to get to play with some brushes & an eyeshadow palette as I’ve always been super curious . The eyeshadow palette Caramel Melange is a warm group with caramels and golden toffee tones. The texture is nice. Finely milled, pigmented and it applies pretty evenly. Even the mattes were pretty smooth which is not always the case (they’re not chalky and dry). The tones are a little too golden and warm for me. I’m a true neutral palette girl. I can’t do very warm shades. I have my eye on the taupe and nude palettes for the future . The brushes are by far the star of the line. I got several from the Rose Golden line. They are a natural-synthetic blend listed as being best with powders. I do use synthetic and natural hair (as long as it’s not squirrel) for creams and liquids as well even though it’s not always advised. These ones are so soft. For a synthetic blend they’re exquisite. The Buffer brush makes the best foundation brush. No streaks at all. I need more of these stat. Especially the two larger shader brushes. I love how affordable these brushes are. Really impressed by them In the swatch photos—Bottom row left to right then Corona Strobe Gel, Top row left to right then Halo Strobe Gel

The one that started it all...
The one that started it all... the man... the myth... the legend... the colourpop Yes, Please palette! Wait... this was their first palette, right? It was definitely the first one that I got. And it also solidified my love affair with CP. The shadows are bomb, the ingredients are clean, it's made in the US and it only cost $16?! What's not to love?? In unrelated news I think that perhaps I was slightly overambitious with this stencil. It's supposed to be palm trees. I've been a bit leery about negative space stencils after the heart stencil incident. Someone told me that cut outs looks like ball sacks and after they said it, it was all that I could see... tiny little ball sacks all over my arm.

Two of my fave Colourpop palettes
Two of my fave Colourpop palettes
I have a few Colourpop palettes, but two of my favorites are the Yes, Please and Sweet Talk palettes. Yes, Please has a warm, cozy color scheme with rich oranges, gold, and red tones. It’s perfect for year-round. Sweet Talk has is coral-toned and contains 1 super shock eyeshadow and 2 pressed glitters amongst the regular pressed shadows. I personally am not a fan of pressed glitter, especially in a palette, but I have used them. The shadows blend so easily and are nicely pigmented. Price and availability: $18 each. Both palettes are available through the Colourpop website. Interestingly, Yes, Please has risen in price. This palette used to be $12, which is what I paid for it 🤔. The formula and quality are worth the price increase. Yes, Please 5/5⭐️, Sweet Talk 4.5/5⭐️

Lime Crime Venus 2 Dupes!

A f
Lime Crime Venus 2 Dupes! A few people requested dupes for this palette so I did my best! I'd consider all of them to be dupes except for Marsh. Out of my entire ginormous single shadow collection, can you believe that I don't own a single green satin?? Not a one. Marsh has a hint of sheen to it but it mostly behaves like a matte. Devinah Thisbe was closest that I could find but it's not quite right. It has to be sold individually though, not in another palette.
