Triderma Essentials Set💙💙
Thank you @triderma for sending over your new 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐭💙 𝐛𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐬: hand cream, sanitizer, face lotion I’ve been trying them for 4 weeks now and i’m ready to share some thoughts! —————————————- 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 - The constant hand washing has been wrecking havoc on my hands. While I would usually go for petrolatum, this has been a wonderful non-greasy alternative! It has beeswax, aloe, shea butter, soybean and oat extract. Does not only moisturizes skin but also relieves any itchiness. Works amazing for the arms as well. Makes an awesome occlusive and protective post shaving cream! fell in love with this💙 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - This is a GREAT handy moisturizer! It contains 0.5% Allantoin - a powerhouse ingredient in moisturizing, soothing and healing irritated skin. It is also keratolytic and often used in scar creams. Additionally, the lotion has Panthenol, Vitamin E, Aloe, dimethicone and emollients - all works together to further amplify results. This has everything in one bottle! This goes a long way too. One pump is sufficient to cover my face and neck. It works well and while it looks fairly thick, it eases up and thins out when applied on skin. It is fast absorbing, but still leaves a nice soft layer of moisture. No fragrance, which is a huge plus! p.s. If you suffer from eczema or contact dermatitis, Triderma’s Eczema Fast Healing face and body cream is amazing and a must-try!

Not worth the hype🙈🥺
𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭 ~ a watery essence packed with 80% Fermented Yeast Extract, an ingredient with similar components to NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) to target imbalanced skin; aims to improve the appearance of fine lines, evens skin tone while hydrating, and rejuvenates the skin to yield a glowing complexion. MISSHA - Time Revolution First Treatment Essence Intensive Moist I used this essence last year (I did not finish the bottle and got rid of it) I really wanted to love it 🙈 I've heard nothing but good things about it but I used more than half a bottle and didn't notice much of a difference. Maybe my skin was really problematic to start with. I did not expect it to cure my acne or help with hyperpigmentation, but I did not notice a difference when it came to radiance, skin texture, or redness either. To add, I’ve never really had good results with using fermented yeast extract. It seems to never really work on my oily acne prone skin. It claims to help diminish fine lines and wrinkles so I suppose it’s formulated and better for use on mature and dry skin. I did love the packaging and the feel of the product when you put it on though. It certainly hydrates but that’s about it. In my opinion, I don't understand the hype of this product and I think there are likely much better essences out there (like the Iope Bio Essence). I know I'm in the minority on this, so if you're on the fence it may be worth a shot for you. I’d go for rice extract.

Ingredient Spotlight: Propylene Glycol
Surely, we’ve all heard this before: avoid using Propylene Glycol (PEG). Does the alarm make sense? Evidently, no. What is 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐲𝐜𝐨𝐥 in skincare? Propylene glycol is in a wide variety of skincare formulas, such as creams, serums, and many other types of personal care products. It has been used for many years. It functions as humectant (helps retain moisture in the skin), penetration enhancer (helps active ingredients penetrate better) and also as a degreaser (helps remove excess sebum in the top layer of skin). Products containing propylene glycol are fine to use for most people. However, those with skin conditions like eczema or dermatitis might be more likely to be sensitive to the ingredient. If you’re planning to use a product with this ingredient, be sure to do a patch test before applying in your whole face. If you developed redness and rash, you’re most likely allergic to it and should stop using it. Please know however, that fear mongering claims that it causes cancer has been debunked by recent studies. My 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 with Propylene Glycol are: • Cure - Natural Aqua Gel • Pyunkang Yul - Pyunkang Yul Peeling Gel Both of these have propylene glycol as their principal ingredient. These products have never irritated my skin or worsened my redness. In fact, I find them a much gentler way to exfoliate than using physical scrubs with beads. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐨 𝐮𝐬𝐞: • On a clean dry face, apply the gel. • Wait for about 1-2 mins until it becomes milky in texture • Gently rub the gel all over the face, it’ll bind oils and dead skin cells together and lift it up to the surface. • Wash off then clean face with a cleanser

Reasons for Premature Aging🥀
While genetics play a great role in our aging process, our skincare habits and lifestyle also can affect significantly. Why is our skin aging at a fast rate? Here are some reasons why: ~ 𝐒𝐮𝐧 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 - studies over time have concluded that over 80% of aging is caused by harmful ultraviolet rays from the sun. The exposure results in damaged skin protein and elastic fibers thus resulting in developing lines, wrinkles and even hyperpigmentations. DO: Always wear protective clothing and sunscreen with spf 30 or up. Also try to avoid the sun between 10am and 3pm. ~ 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - as our skin ages, it becomes thinner, dryer and loses its elasticity, causing wrinkles to emerge. It is important to always keep the skin and the body hydrated. DO: drink a lot of water -- can’t stress this enough. Fortunately, we also have tons of amazing moisturizers in the market these days. Find one that works best for you. Dry skin types can benefit most from moisturizers with shea butter and oily skin types are often served well by glycerin and dimethicone based products. ~ 𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 - using active ingredients improperly or doing physical exfoliation very often can damage your moisture barrier and potentially further cause chronic dryness. DO: Always be gentle, better use chemical exfoliants if your skin is excessively dry. Listen to your skin and learn to stop when needed. We often forget that our skin can exfoliate and heal itself. ~ 𝐏𝐨𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭, 𝐬𝐦𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - eating foods high in sugar and refined carbohydrates can damage your skin over time. Additionally, cigarette smoking exposes you to toxins resulting in oxidative stress and alcohol dehydrates your body. DO: Eat a balanced diet and drink a lot of water. Avoid smoking as much as possible and drink moderately. ~ 𝐋𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐞𝐩 - this is self-explanatory. But to provide you further insight, a study in 2015 indicated that, “chronic poor sleep quality is associated with increased signs of intrinsic ageing, diminished skin barrier function and lower satisfaction with appearance.” Furthermore, they concluded “good sleepers also had 30% greater barrier recovery compared with poor sleepers.” DO: JUST SLEEP!! Don’t underestimate its power to heal and transform not just your skin but your overall being.
Facial Moisturizer Awards 🏆🏅
Hi guys👋🏻 Today, i’d like to share my current top three moisturizer favorites. I still have plenty that I love, these are just ones I have been using religiously from the past months. These products are great for oily, rosacea and acne-prone skin🥰 1. THE inkey LIST - Snow Mushroom Hydrating Gel Moisturizer (my second tube) This moisturizer is formulated with 0.3% Tremella Fuciformis (snow mushroom). It aims to soothe, calm, and reduce the appearance of redness while providing an instant cooling effect. The plant extract is a rich source of polysaccharides and is known to have the ability to help hydrate the skin by binding moisture to the surface. The consistency of the Snow Mushroom moisturizer is very jelly-like. It looks thick but actually is very lightweight once absorbed by skin. Although it feels sticky to the touch, it works well when applied and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. I used to be obsessed with products which give you cooling effect but since most of my faves contain alcohol and fragrance, I had to stop using them -- the Inkey List Snow Mushroom is a very unique find for me and that’s why I love it so much! This would also be a worthy product for your summer skincare routine! 2. PROcure - Rosacare Gel (second bottle almost out!) My skin absolutely loves this gel cream. I did write a review on this before, in which I rated it four out five stars, but let me say now -- it has become one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used! When I started using retinoid, this cream (and TO niacinamide) has helped my skin so much in coping with the mild irritation but also helped control my redness and flushing. I also used to work as a cook, I would always go home with an extremely red itchy face which further triggered my acne flare ups. This has always done a great job in calming as well as keeping my skin overall balanced. This is very lightweight, non-irritating and has a slight green color to it that helps even out skin tone (but does not completely cover). I would say this works better than any other product of its kind. If you have rosacea or is prone to flushing — consider trying this one. I will definitely keep repurchasing it. 3. Neutrogena - Hydro Boost Gel-Cream (just finished, third bottle on the way🤗) Seriously, who hasn’t used this one yet? This moisturizer does not disappoint. This hydrates skin without making it oily and leaves it feeling smooth and soft. Although it glides on like silk when first applied (at least on my oily skin), this does not feel heavy or clogging at all. It also works really well for daytime and nighttime use, even under makeup. Have never experienced skin irritations or breakouts since using this product. If you’re someone who doesn’t mind a dimethicone based moisturizer, this is must-try!

Makeup Must-Have for Acne-Prone Skin
I’ve never had success with makeup products that claim to fight/clear acne (I’ve gone through so many acne-fighting foundations and concealers BELIEVE ME!) So, these days I’ve been more focused on using products that are formulated without pore-clogging ingredients. One that’s really been working wonders for my skin has been Supergoop!’s 100% Mineral Matte Screen Primer, which controls oil and shine and wears so well under makeup it’s amazing. Since it’s a mattifying primer that contains mineral sunscreen, I was nervous that it wouldn’t be hydrating enough for me but it’s vitamin E-argan oil blend really does the trick. Derm Prescribed Acne Treatments!
I recently went to the dermatologist for my persistent acne, and she prescribed two topical products for me: clindamycin gel for A.M. and tretinoin cream for P.M.. With insurance, they cost $10 and $8.72 respectively. Since I have dry & sensitive skin already, I will be starting both slowly. I will use the clindamycin gel every other morning for 2-4 weeks, and then every morning as prescribed. For the tretinoin cream, I will apply it every 3 nights for two weeks, every other night for two weeks, and then every night as prescribed. So what are these products? How do you use them? And how long will it take to see results? Let’s explore- What is Clindamycin? Clindamycin is a type of antibiotic. It is used topically to treat acne. It works by slowing or stopping the growth of bacteria that cause acne and by decreasing swelling. It is available in a variety of preparations including gel, foam, lotion, etc. How do you use Clindamycin gel? Apply a pea-size amount to your face. I apply dots to my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead before gently rubbing in the gel. I apply it after my serum and before my moisturizer. Make sure to wash your hands after applying the gel! What is Tretinoin? Tretinoin is also known as retinoic acid. It’s the generic name for synthetic vitamin A. It’s sold under many different brand names. Retin-A is one of those brand names, which shouldn’t be confused with retinol. Tretinoin is a prescription-strength topical cream or gel. It’s used mainly to treat acne, sun-damaged skin, and fine wrinkles. Tretinoin is able to speed up the life cycle of skin cells. It makes them divide faster and die faster, so newer, healthier cells can take their place. OBAGI - Tretinoin 0.025% Cream How do you use Tretinoin? You also want to use a pea-size amount of this product. Again, I apply it in dots on my cheeks, chin, nose, and forehead before gently rubbing in the cream. I apply it at the end of my PM routine. You also want to wash your hands after applying this! How long will it take to see results? My dermatologist said that it will take approximately 6-8 weeks to start seeing results. I made a follow-up appointment in 2.5 months to monitor my progress and make as-needed adjustments!

How to: GLOWING SKIN✨✨
Let’s face it. There is no real quick fix to get a 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 without taking care of it on a daily basis. Wearing sunscreen and supplying your body enough hydration are probably the most important tips we should follow. In this post, I'd like to share my top favorite skincare ingredients that will get you great results even quicker. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭: 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐀𝐇𝐀 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞. AHA: Glycolic Acid - effectively removes the outermost layer of dead cells from the complexion, revealing brighter, fresher skin. It is for use for dry to normal skin. Glycolic acid gently removes dead skin cells and also generally well tolerated, even by acne-prone skin. It may not work enough to get rid of acne but it’s a great supplemental product to keep in your vanity. I would recommend starting with 10%-12% and gradually move up to 15%. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:ALPHA SKIN CARE - Enhanced Renewal Cream Contains 12% Glycolic Acid. Free of oils and fragrances. Helps even skin tone and texture. Contains peptides to help plump & improve skin’s texture. It also has antioxidants, vitamins, and green tea to prevent signs of aging. ( alternative: liquid form, TO Gycolic Toner) 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧: 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐇𝐀 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. BHA: Salicylic Acid - they are proven to clear clogged pores and improve bumpy texture. BHAs like salicylic acid is oil soluble. This characteristic allows them to penetrate below the skin’s surface and dive deep into your pores. They can penetrate blocked pores by making their way into the oil glands, dissolving the paste-like mixture of sebum that can lead to breakouts. They are typically safe for use once or twice per day. For home use, maximum strength of 2% is advised. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliator This BHA is in a toner formulation. Make sure to pat dry your skin after washing the face before using this. Concentrate on the areas like the T-zone which is usually more oily. It’s critical to apply a gentle moisturizer before salicylic acid completely dry the top layer of skin to avoid irritation and apply sunscreen if used in the daytime. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐜𝐧𝐞: 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐠𝐨. Retinoid: Tretinoin - retinoids like Tretinoin stimulate cell turnover on your skin. Dead skin cells are cleared off your skin more quickly as new skin cells rise to the surface thus, revealing glowing skin. Quicker cell turnover opens your pores, releasing trapped bacteria or irritants. Tretinoin has also been studied extensively for its impact on the visible signs of aging (healthline.com). 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: customized Curology formula, Retin-A, Retino-A, Atralin, Avita, etc. To get the best results with tretinoin, it is necessary to use it properly. Start off with no more than the strength of 0.025% to avoid irritation. In order to reduce the initial flaking/side effects that can accompany the Tretinoin, you can put on a moisturizer before your application. Allow it to sink into the skin completely then apply a pea-sized amount of the cream. Tretinoin can increase your skin's sensitivity to sunlight so be sure to use sunscreen daily!

A healthy skin barrier can solve your problems🌱
A healthy skin barrier can solve your skin problems! 🌱 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫? It is the outermost layer of the epidermis - stratum corneum - which functions as both a chemical and physical shield against pollutants, bacteria, irritants, etc.. A healthy skin barrier can slow down aging and even help acne heal quicker while lessening its severity. When the barrier is intact, your skin appears plump, and smooth, but when it’s compromised, skin becomes dehydrated, dull, and more prone to sun damage and irritation. Sensitivity to products, tendency to break out, acne and chronic dry skin are all signs of a weakened skin barrier. Your barrier’s health has a direct impact on how your skin looks, feels, and how it ages! 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩 𝐝𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠: 1. Over-cleansing 2. Over-exfoliating 3. Washing your face using hot water 4. Using alcohol-based toner and fragrance-containing products 5. Unprotected exposure to sun’s UV rays 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐝𝐨: ~ Hydrate continuously! A damaged epidermis requires moisture, so keeping your face and body well hydrated is critical in the fight to restore your barrier. Moisture-binding humectants such as glycerin, sorbitol, and hyaluronic acid are my favorites. ~ 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬! An occlusive ingredient provides a protective seal over the surface of the skin and is critical to prevent loss of hydration. When choosing a face moisturizer, I always look for Dimethicone. If you have dry skin, choose a moisturizer with shea butter. For extra dry skin in the body, petrolatum will be your best friend. If you want something lighter than petrolatum, go for silicone based lotions. 𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: dimethicone, glycerin, ceramides, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, panthenol, oat and aloe extract. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: p.s all fragrance-free 𝐎𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧: 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫𝐬 - ceramides, niacinamide, dimethicone, HA. affordable and effective. 𝐍𝐞𝐮𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐆𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 - dimethicone based. Basic, lightweight, but does a great job. 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐥 - my top recommendation for oily and sensitive skin. Wonderful for people with rosacea. Calms, hydrates, and protects skin with dimethicone, aloe extract and licorice root. 𝐃𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐧: 𝐄𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 - has panthenol and shea butter. Pretty no-nonsense. Although it has shea butter, I find this actually lightweight enough for oily skin. 𝐋𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐚𝐮𝐦𝐞 - multi-purpose soothing balm for dry skin irritations. Has glycerin, shea butter, panthenol. 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐢 - Glycerin based and combines signal peptides and amino acids. Has a long ingredients list, but overall still worked well with me. 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐱 𝐔𝐥𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 - contains Riceramide®-3 blend of plant-based ceramides, natural essential fatty acids and cholesterol, combined with soothing emollients and hyaluronic acid to help relieve chronically dry skin. ❣️𝐏𝐲𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐮𝐥 is a fragrance-free brand and uses a variety of root extracts and gentle ingredients to promote barrier restoration. I highly recommend the brand too! 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐧: Vaseline, Aquaphor or 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (lanolin-free) 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐀𝐯𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐳𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧- formulated with soothing oatmeal and rich emollients. 𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓: Don’t forget your 𝐬𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬! Find one you’ll love wearing every day❣️
Pyunkang Yul- Mist Toner
Saved my skin-so can you! Simplify your routine✨
Over a year ago, I went through the craziest breakout and I didn’t know what caused it (stress). Im the type of person who gets one pimple during that time of the month and to painful acne was super surprising. So I took it upon myself to do a lot of research as I didn’t have a dermatologist then. What I found most effective was simplifying my routine and sticking to the bare essentials to let my skin BREATHE. Slathering on expensive products and a million different products wasn’t doing anything for my skin (or my wallet). I got the CeraVe - Foaming Facial Cleanser For Normal To Oily Skin for my AM/PM cleanser, found a simple toner, and a reliable moisturizer. At night, I would apply Curology - Curology formula and this was a GAME CHANGER. My formula is: Clindamycin 1% Azelaic acid 8% Tretinoin 0.018% I went through a bad purge phase (patience is key) but after, my skin had never been better. This is my skin now, one year later. Let me tell you, this is my skin on a BAD day. No filter! Let me know if you want a review on Curology and my thoughts and tips :) P.S. excuse the grainy “before” photo - this was the only one I could find 😁
