Skincare 101: Exfoliation Basics
Exfoliation is the best way to slough away debris and dead skin cells that are sitting on top of your skin and can clog your pores. Exfoliation speeds up cell turnover. If done correctly, it leaves you with healthier and happier looking skin, and makes moisturizing and applying actives more effective. There are two types of exfoliators: 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 ~ are body scrubs and products formulated with grainy particles that provide the actual scrubbing sensation. I think the best physical exfoliating method is, still, the use of 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡 — which most of us already have at home. Gentlest of them all, and is even safe to use nightly. Simply dampen the washcloth in warm water, add your cleanser, and rub in small circles beginning at the forehead and working your way down - be sure to use medium pressure. I also love 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐆𝐞𝐥𝐬. My favorites are Cure - Natural Aqua Gel and Pyunkang Yul - Pyunkang Yul Peeling Gel . While they don’t exactly fall under the category of physical or chemical exfoliators , I find them innovatively helpful and safe even for sensitive skin. Peeling gels use high acidity ingredients and utilizes a blend of surfactants like dicocodimonium chloride and carbomers that help to bind oils together to attract and remove dead skin. I also enjoy using facial scrubbers like the DERMAFLASH - Ultrasonic Pore Extractor & Serum Infuser 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 ~ use acids such as glycolic acid, salicylic acid, or retinoid to mildly exfoliate deeper the skin. One of the main benefits of chemical exfoliation is that it does not require scrubbing, so it’s less likely to cause major irritation to the skin. I have written about AHAs and BHAs in my recent posts -- do check them out if you’d like to learn more about the ingredients🙈Most results aren’t seen until 4-8 weeks with chemical exfoliators. Some of my favorites are: Neutrogena - Rapid Clear, Stubborn Acne, Daily Leave-On Mask PAULA'S CHOICE - Skin Perfecting 2% BHA (Salicylic Acid) Liquid Exfoliator The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution janssen - Retino-A 0.05% Tretinoin Cream Curology - Curology formula Still not sure how to exfoliate? you can actually use both a chemical and physical exfoliator if you’d like to. I personally find alternately using two types beneficial for me (don’t overdo it!). Skincare is a tough job. It’s best to listen to your skin, try out different methods, and you’ll learn what works best for you eventually❤️
7 Best Ways to Get Rid of Large Pores
The appearance of the pores is different in every skin type. Many individuals suffer from the visibility of their large pores. However, there are quick home tips, which you can follow to get a better solution.
Love these tools for an extra exfoliation step! I usually wash my face, do a mask, then use one of these products. I use them 1-2x a week, alternating tools and making sure to not over use. lonove - Blackhead Remover Vacuum Pore Cleaner I struggle with clogged pores and it doesn’t matter how many times a day I wash my face or what products I use, my pores are just dirt/oil magnets. After doing my nighttime routine, this really helps suck(literally) any of the whiteheads I may have still clogged in my pores. I like this tool because instead of using my fingertips, it extracts for you and does the work. Just be careful not to use it for too long in one session or it may cause bruising. LINDURAY SKINCARE - Derma Roller Microneedling Kit for Face This microneedler really has helped with wrinkles, scars, and hyperpigmentation. I think it has really rejuvenated my skin and restored its elasticity. It does make my face red and feel a little tingly afterwards but that’s normal, it’s not super uncomfortable. I also make sure to use some sort of facial oil or serum with this to really penetrate the product into my skin. Again, I try not to overdo it with this tool because it can get really irritated/red. As for any tools, I always clean them with soap, water, and I soak them before and after every use with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol.

GOODBYE DEEP DIRT !! 🥂
I purchase this skin scrubber because I always get it in a facial in places , got the curiosity to purchase and try it in my daily routine!!! Does it works .... YES!!! It helps with: 🦋 exfoliate the skin and draw out excess oils and impurities. 🦋remove deep dirt and makeup from pores. 🦋super easy and see results instantly. My experience: ❤️It have allows my dead skin cells to exfoliate quicker, and from that it helps to reproduce more collagen, and from 2 weeks of doing this I noticed gradually my skin is getting tighter, cleaner and my nose it been with less blackheads ( super smooth actually) ❤️It does not hurt , it kinda tingles because it vibrates so fast that feels like tingly, but this product have a + and - for speed and for different use ; like cleaning and Lifting depending your preference. ❤️My skin type is not sensitive so i been using it every day, but those with more sensitive complexions should stick with once or twice a week. Price$ I purchase this at Vanity Planet for a decent price with discount $ 60, but i have seen it in Amazon from 25 - 40$ with really great reviews!!! ❤️ I think is worth trying it and incorporate it in a face routine!! You will be surprised how much dirt is left after you cleanse and use a mask you will see dirt still after cleaning your face so much!! I was surprised how much dirt after 3 face routine and then i use this mainly in the nose i did see a lot of dirt. VANITY PLANET - Essia Ultrasonic Lifting & Exfoliating Wand

MAGNETIC 🧲 MASK FUN!!!
Hey Babes!!! 👋🏼 Have you ever tried a magnetic 🧲 mask before??? These are really fun to use and make great IG content. 😉 I recently tried the mask by #Youthful Naturals - Magnetic Mud Mask[products]#[FourStars] ! How does it work? The mask is filled is minerals, iron particles and magnetic mineral/ Dead Sea mud particles . This doesnt dry your skin, unlike traditional mud masks and stays creamy on the skin!! The mud and Dead Sea 🌊 ingredients really detox your skin by drawing out oils and impurities. You can feel a little tingle and warmth from the Dead Sea mud, but that’s normal. It claims to remove blackheads, detox the skin and clean pores. Does it help? Yes. After results: Here is the fun part, after leaving the mask on for 10-15 minutes, you use the magnet to remove the mask!!! 🤯 There will be a slight film of serum left on your skin. You can either leave that on for another 10 minutes, or wash it off right away with a gentle wash cloth. Your skin is left feeling super soft & hydrated 💦!! It doesn’t leave your skin tight, although I still recommend using moisturizer after. This mask is good to use for most skin types. If your skin in sensitive, I would probably not recommend 🚫 this for you as the Dead Sea mud might irritate. You can find the mask on Amazon and it’s about $15 for 2.1fl oz. it’s worth the money 😊😊 Xoxo, Blyssey #cheriecreator #magneticmask
Over the course of quarantine I have noticed that my pores have gotten huge and noticed some blackheads. My skin was always something I was very confident about, actually, one of the few things. So you could imagine how the decline in skin quality effected my self image. I have been trying my best to get back to where I was. This weeks miracle saver was Peace Out Pores. PEACE OUT - Peace Out Pores Yes it’s a little pricy, but if you are struggling with enlarged pores and/or blackheads it is 100% worth the price. My teenage younger brother even tried and noticed a large difference.
