Soothing and Hydrating DIY Sheet Mask 🥰
I do think oat is the most underrated ingredient in the skincare world 🤔🤔 𝐎𝐚𝐭𝐬 soothe, protect, and moisturize all at once. They have many benefits and are high in fiber. They contain 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐬. -- all great for soothing dry, itchy, and irritated skin, most especially for eczema and acne-prone skin. Oats contain amino acids. They help rebuild tissue and promote healing for the body. When used in a face mask, face absorbs the amino acids making it a great ingredient to help heal blemishes and repair damaged skin. The gentlest and most soothing DIY face mask I would long for when having sudden irritated skin -- is a 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐤. I have always loved the Aveeno Soothing Bath Treatment which is a skin saver during winter. Although I've thought of using it as face mask before, I didn’t actually try until Dr. Dray mentioned it in her Youtube channel. Aveeno - Baby, Eczema Therapy, Soothing Bath Treatment, Fragrance Free

The 60 seconds rule works
I only have 4 days washing my face during 60 seconds in the AM and PM and muy skin already feels much softer and glowy. The up photos are from today and the down from Tuesday. I’m only using moisturizing and sunscreen right now and this are the results. I can’t wait to see how my skin is going to be when I start to use some acids.

DIY Exfoliant For Shaving
Ingredients 3/4 cup coconut oil 1 1/2 cups brown sugar 3 tablespoons citrus extract (optional) Just mix these 3 ingredients and voila! Smooth and scented legs. It doesn’t make my acne any worse and it’s suitable for anywhere you want to shave (even intimates), because it’s all natural. It’s a cheap, DIY alternative to all those expensive exfoliants.
How I live a “clean” lifestyle
I haven’t always been the person to live in the most and healthy way but in recent years my mind set has changed since I know that I only have one body and I need to take care of it! To me clean means eating and doing things that make you feel good. This past year I’ve been eating less meat, and dairy. Meat because it’s more sustainable for the environment to eat less of it and I was never a huge fan of it to begin with. Dairy I have found that I was developed a lactose sensitivity so I try to stay away from it. I’ve been continus about making healthier choices such as sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, a salad for lunch instead of a bowl of pasta. Just small things that I have been trying to change about my diet. Other than trying to eat right I also try to workout 4-5 times a week sometimes this doesn’t always happen but when it doesn’t I do miss it! Working out for me is a way of releasing stress and I hate it for the first few minutes but once I get that heart rate up I remember why I started. It’s been such a great way to start my day and I feel so accomplished after. No one is perfect and neither am I! My journey to a clean lifestyle is ever evolving and I keep learning new things everyday!
How I stay “clean”
In my life I slack in most areas for “clean”. I eat poutine and ice cream too often. I drink sweetened coffee more than water and I vape nicotine when I’m stressed. So am I living a clean lifestyle to most people’s definition? Nope! But I have another definition..... My clean lifestyle includes a clean mind. As someone with depression and anxiety I work hard to clear my mind of these negative thoughts that can cloud over so that I can focus on happier things; like my cats, Ice cream, coffee in the morning and applying a good facial oil. By not stressing about my diet too strictly and actively working on quitting vaping but not forcing myself into it, I am living a cleaner life away from negativity!
