Dry hands 🦠🖐🏻😷
This quarantine, constant hand washing and the use of antibacterial gel has caused dryness and irritation in our hands. When I leave my house and I have to apply antibacterial gel constantly, my hands feels tight, burning and itchy 😩. I have tried these two products that have helped me a lot to calm the irritation. LA ROCHE-POSAY - Lipikar Eczema Soothing Relief Cream This cream helps protect and soothe minor irritations and itching due to eczema and rashes. This contains 1% colloidal oatmeal, shea butter, niacinamide and La Roche Posay prebiotic thermal water. Instantly hydrates and calms irritation, is non-greasy and absorbs quickly. FIRST AID BEAUTY - FAB Pharma Oat & Hemp Multi-Fix Salve This is a fix it all balm that helps soothe, smooth, hydrate and protect. This balm contains colloidal oatmeal, hemp seed oil and avocado oil. I prefer to use this at night because it is a little greasy, but it works very well, hydrates and repairs dry skin. Other products that can be used: Aquaphor - Aquaphor Healing Ointment CeraVe - Moisturizing Cream For Normal To Dry Skin BIODERMA - Atoderm Crème parfumée Cetaphil - Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream Johnson's - Baby Jelly Neutrogena - Norwegian Formula Concentrated Hand Cream Eucerin - Intensive Repair Lotion, Fragrance Free Some tips: 🦠 Use warm water to wash your hands 🦠 Use neutral soaps or syndets 🦠 After washing or using antibacterial gel apply moisturizer 🦠 Look for creams based on mineral oil or petrolatum, without fragrances or dyes. Syndets: Cetaphil - Gentle Cleansing Bar Dove white beauty bar Dove sensitive skin beauty bar Eucerin pH 5 soap free bar La Roche-Posay lipikar surgras cleansing bar

The ordinary haul
so I impulsively got a ton of stuff from the ordinary based on reviews and what several of their online employees have recommended. I gotta save, I've only work the hyaluronic acid for a day and it feels fantastic! I'll be updating in a month-6 weeks to give an accurate update, but I really gotta talk about the hyaluronic acid. I've tried them before and they were just sticky, and didn't feel great, this one is fantastic! my face felt so plush and soft! it was the first thing I tried and it is amazing! posting new results in a short while guys!
Let’s talk skin care for mature skin
Ok... so I have mature skin and these are a few gems I have found that have helped keep the aging process at bay!!! CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream this is simply amazing!!! It quenches my skin and has repaired my skin barrier. I use this at night as my last step. Wake up with supple and soft skin. This is great as a hand cream as well!!! The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution I use this 2x a week. I love it!!! Chemical exfoliation is amazing and effective. My skin tolerates this well, so I leave it on the full 10 minutes. I follow up with my moisturizers. THE inkey LIST - Hyaluronic Acid Serum this is my go too!! I love that it isn’t sticky and absorbs well into my skin. This is always a staple in my AM and PM routine. Follow this with a moisturizer. THE inkey LIST - Q10 Antioxidant Serum I love this. This is a little thicker than other serums, but this is great for aging skin. This is part of my PM routine as a final step before my moisturizer. The Ordinary - "Buffet" + Copper Peptides 1% I use this every other night on the nights I do NOT use the peeling solution. This is great for aging skin as well. The Ordinary - Granactive Retinoid 2% in Squalane this is my other go to opposite the buffet solution. As always I follow with moisturizer. The Ordinary - Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG this is my go to for my eyes in AM. Gives added energy to tired aging eyes!! Love love love this!!!! The Ordinary - Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution I use this a few times a week. I tend to use this in the AM so it does not counter the other acids I apply at night. It is great after my shower. I allow my skin to set and dry for 5-7 minutes before applying my serums in my routine. e.l.f. - Holy Hydration! Face Cream this is my morning moisturizer. I love it! Provides the perfect amount of hydration without the heaviness. Lays beautifully underneath my makeup.

New Beauty Buys
This body scrub honestly does wonders for KP (keratosis pilaris). I was first gifted this and then made a purchase 2 weeks ago. FIRST AID BEAUTY - KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA A little background: keratosis pilaris tends to appear on upper arms, legs, or buttocks, and they’re those annoying tiny bumps & don’t hurt or itch. It’s actually more common than you think, and it’s not anything bad. It usually gets worse in the colder months because your skin is drier. @firstaidbeauty’s body scrub has helped my KP a lot in the past few days, and has helped me achieve that smooth skin on my upper arms. I think this product is worth it and something that I’ll keep purchasing in/for my body care routine. Have you tried this body scrub? If so, did you like it? @cherie@Cheriebeauty #cheriecreator
Body Acne Be Gone! 🔮
I started having back acne on this random day during my freshman year of college and since then have been struggling with it on and off. Recently I have found this routine and I’m so happy to report that the conditions have been stable for months now. As you can see in the second photo, I still have some scars and discolorations, but hey, better than before, at least my back isn’t bumpy anymore. I rarely get new pimples on my back, and if I do it’s a small one that can heal in days, not the big, painful, red ones that haunt me for so long. List of Products: MARIO BADESCU - A.H.A Botanical Body Soap I shower everyday and use this body wash. It smells great and leaves my skin clean but not dry. Before this I use CeraVe - SA Body Wash for Rough & Bumpy Skin. I liked that one too, but it wasn’t as foamy and I just find this Mario Badescu one more pleasant. THAYERS - Rose Petal Facial Toner Ok this toner is not great for your face in the long run because of the witch hazel in it, but it works so great for body acne. I can say that since I started using this toner on my back I have been noticing huge improvements. It’s not sticky or anything on my skin and I just use my hands to pat the product on my back (daily stretch lol). FIRST AID BEAUTY - KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA I use this body scrub with AHA no more than once a week and usually after I take a bath so I can buff off all the dead skins. It leaves my skin super soft and smooth. I took off a star because it’s not a gentle scrub and for some reason some particles always stay on either my shower curtain or on the floor... CLINIQUE - Acne Solutions Clinical Clearing Gel I use this when I notice a pimple on my back. Good old salicylic acid concentrate to dry it out. I took off a star because you have to wait for it to dry down before you put on clothes and sometimes it hurts a bit. Other Tips: This is going to sound really dumb but: RINSE OFF ALL PRODUCTS that might be on your skin! I realized I actually have very sensitive skin on my body and if I don’t rinse until there’s zero trace of product on my back, I break out. This includes body wash, and especially hair conditioner, if you have longer hair and leave hair conditioner in as you wash your body. My guideline is: if I feel any slippery feeling on my back, I need to rinse more. Pick your hair and body wash products carefully. As it turns out, I cannot use a lot of products, especially those that purposely leave your skin extra smooth and slippery. Also you might be allergic to some ingredients, pay attention to those too. Be mindful of hair products: oils, serums, styling products, etc. Again, they might be great for your hair, but if they get onto your back, maybe it’s another story. Wash your beddings and towels often! A lot of bacteria might be on them! Hope this helps!!
Body Moisturizer Awards 🥇🥈🥉
I have to be honest, I’m not a huge fan of body care. Either it makes me sticky or i just don’t find it worth my time. However, in the past few months I have been focusing a lot of my time into my body care, specifically the post-bath or post-shower moisture products I use and where I use them on my body. Please note that my skin is SO SENSITIVE! I breakout fairly often on my body. 🥇: CANNUKA - Moisturizing Skin Balm My favorite out of these three is from Cannuka which is a CBD skincare brand at Ulta. I have tried a few of their products and this one is my absolute favorite for my feet, elbows, and my hands. It is so soothing and healing. It smells of honey, and rubs in very easily. I have 4 cats and barely any cat hair sticks to this when I have it on! I am impressed. It is $58 for 1.6oz (I have the mini size!) and for good quality CBD products are expensive so I think this is very reasonably priced. I am also very active so I can justify this purchase for my aching joints and muscles. 🥈: VERSED - Keep It Supple Body Oil Versed is a drugstore brand available at Target. I bought this since it’s fairly inexpensive and Versed prides itself on eliminating close to 2,000 “toxic” ingredients so I thought this would work great for my sensitive skin. It’s a dry oil formula so once you apply it, it’s usually dry within 5-10 minutes. SOLD!! My only complaint is that it smells like an old lady’s cheap perfume. The main fragrant component is “ylang ylang” and it’s SO fragrant. This product also contains coconut oil so I don’t use it on my neck or chest. I think it’s a steal for $15/4oz. It loses a star for the smell. 🥉: BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil I have included this in my body products list because I have stopped using it on my face but started using it on my neck and chest a few months and and O.M.G! It has helped clear old acne marks that were on my chest and is the perfect amount of lasting moisture. I use 5-6 drops on my neck, chest, and shoulders after every shower and I love it. I can not justify this as a repurchase...it’s $72 for 1oz of oil. Ouch! I will be switching to their 100% squalane oil after I finish this bottle. It smells softly of rose but nothing harsh at all. It loses a star for the price. What are your favorite body oils?

Facial Oils! Korres vs Trilogy!
I really like facial oils. They have nice smell, and they make your face feel super good! So let's talk about these two facial oils today. Which one do you like? KORRES - Wild Rose Brightening Absolute-Oil This rose serum contains actual dry rose. It smells so good and the smell lasts. It is transparent. Super comfortable to put on your face. It does not cause acne. For dry skin, it maintains the percentage of water in your skin. If your skin condition is unstable, you can apply a thicker layer to your face and it helps hydrate your skin. You can also use it to massage your face. trilogy - Organic Rosehip Oil Antioxidant I read online that Trilogy Rosehip oil is good for brightening. So I gave it a try. It smells like rosehip, somewhat like fish oil if you take a deep breath. The oil is light yellow. The texture feels pretty good, and it locks up the water in your skin. But I get acne if I use it in winter. I prefer Korres Wild Rose Brightening Absolute-Oil over Trilogy Rosehip Oil, but this one is also a little bit more expensive.

🌿 Meltdown Most spot treatments don’t usually work for me unless it’s a prescribed topical cream from my dermatologist. Moving forward, I surprisingly had 2 small red, painful bumps the day I got the package, so it only made sense to put it to the test that same night. Believe it or not, the bumps were gone the next day like they never even existed! I thought maybe it was a fluke cos it was simply just way too good to be true. I continued to try it on other spots and although they didn’t disappear the next day like with my first experience, they were often gone by the second/third day! This product is honestly so amazing at soothing spots and reducing inflammation. I highly recommend trying it out! 🌿 Hug Me This is the first natural deodorant I’ve ever tried and quite frankly, I’ve never been one to really use deodorant. My armpits don’t really smell, neither do they usually sweat (or not that much anyway). EXCEPT when I have to grow my hair out to get them sugared but even then it’s not bad enough that I desperately have to slap on deodorant. With that being said, I don’t think I‘m the best person to review this product lol 🤦🏻♀️ I did give it a try but I didn’t really see a difference. The one thing that I can say is that it does not keep you dry. Anyways, if you are interested in this product, I know people who absolutely swear by it like skinbyjess - so check her out!
First Aid Beauty; mini brand review Pt. 1
Let’s talk about one of my FAVORITE brands to recommend to customers at work, First Aid Beauty. I personally believe based on their mostly fragrance free, dye free, and safe for sensitive skin formulations there is a product in this line for every person. Like usual I will give a quick run down of every product I’ve tried by the brand. If you want an in-depth review or have a question please comment below. Upon writing this I realized I had a lot to say on the brand so I am breaking this up into two parts. FIRST AID BEAUTY - KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA - A new but instant favorite. It gives an intense scrub to the body but somehow still feels really gentle. It doesn’t dissolve away like most scrubs so a little goes a long way. It also contains 10% AHA to help fade pigmentation and “strawberry legs”. Worth it! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration - If you have dry, sensitive, or eczema prone skin you need this. It’s a cream formula that melts into the skin. It contains nourishing ingredients like glycerin, squalane, allatonin, and colloidal oatmeal (this brand feature this ingredient a lot!). It has no fragrance or dyes making it perfect for most people. It really adds in hydration and smooths over dry patches without being heavy (even having oily skin I use this at night when I need the extra moisture). Plus it comes in three different sizes! FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser - one of the most gentle cleansers I’ve ever used. This is best suited for dry skin but I do occasionally use this in the morning before make up as it has very gentle cleansing agents that won’t strip the skin. If you need just a basic cleanser this is your guy. It will effectively cleanse the skin while adding antioxidant benefits like green tea. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum - I really liked this product but saw no better results than my The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronics. It’s a gel consistency that contains colloidal oatmeal, aloe leaf juice, hyaluronic acid, and peptides to hydrate and plump the skin. While I did like the product for $38 I don’t think it’s worth it at all as I’ve seen the same results in other products and they weren’t the biggest results in the first place. FIRST AID BEAUTY - Ultra Repair Instant Oatmeal Mask - YES!! If you have any kind of face irritation go out and buy this right now. It’s a mask that contains colloidal oatmeal (and smells like it! Yum!) as it’s second ingredient! This ingredient is known to soothe the skin, bring down inflammation, and moisturize the skin. My face got very irritated from my mask recently and this helped make my skin feel better almost instantly. If you’re using chemical exfoliators as well this is a good mask to add into your routine to help bring hydration back as well as soothe fresh skin.
FIRST AID BEAUTY-KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA
eos Products is mostly known for their lip balms, they also have a few other products though! I believe that shaving should be optional for everyone and that there is way too much social pressure on women to always be hair- and flawless. If you want to shave your legs, I can definitely recommend the eos shave cream though. It’s a cream that doesn’t foam and contains several calming and moisturizing ingredients like shea butter, aloe juice and (my personal favorite) colloidal oatmeal. Definitely gives you that sleek dolphin feel 🐬😉 Cosrx two in one poreless power liquid: I reviewed it before, I still have pores but they definitely look cleaner. First aid beauty facial radiance pads: I actually haven’t tried them yet 🙈 got them in a little travel set. They look promising though! foreo LUNA fofo: Also already reviewed this cutie. Judith Williams made this eye cream in cooperation with German drugstore (she’s a cast member of the German version of shark tank called Höhle der Löwen 😉). The cream has egf (some people swear by it, some say it’s dangerous, some say it doesn’t do anything - I guess this calls for another post on this topic) and caffeine. Moisturises well, nothing spectacular, but very solid for the price. Will keep going back to it until I find my holy grail. Deciem Hylamide Hydra-Density Mist: It’s a calming and hydrating. I like to use it inbetween layers. I like it, but I have to admit that I have gotten pretty much the same outcome with every hydrating mist and/or toner I have used.
