bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Gel Cleanser
I love this cleanser so far. It is a gel like consistency that gets slightly sudsy as you apply it and has some fantastic ingredients that have fought my acne really well. I did have a week or two after first using this that I was purging but today I have no active acne. It isn’t over drying as long as you accompany it with moisturizer. This is vegan and Cruelty-free 🐾💕

New & Improved Skin Care Routine *Bliss Line*
I’m just starting to research my products and I was extremely unsatisfied with what I had found in my current products. I’ve heard really good things about this line. I was really attracted to the lack of fragrance and super stripping chemicals. To start off let me tell you about my skin. I have struggled with dry skin for most of my life and my t-zone and chin are not only my dryers areas but they are also where I get the most acne. Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s just the overproduction of oil since I’m so dry and as the weather gets colder/dryer it gets worse. I usually get a new pimple once every two-three days. Knowing this I was looking for cleansers and toners that would help me manage the breakouts and a serum and moisturizer that will help me keep my skin soft and hydrated. Here are the products I bought along with first impressions after my first use :) bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Gel Cleanser - This cleanser feels really gentle on my skin but it also gets the job done. My skin felt refreshed and clean but not dry. I didn’t feel like I needed to get my moisturizer on quickly before my skin dried out which is usually a challenge. bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum - Over all I really enjoyed this toner. I wasn’t expecting it to be a gel but it did feel very soothing on my skin. The directions recommend using a cotton pad to apply but did feel like I had to pump out a lot to cover my whole face. I also had a lot of product squirt out from under my cotton pad when I was using the pump so I’m not super thrilled with the design. bliss - Ex-Glow-Sion Moisturizer - This has been the best moisturizer I’ve tried and at an amazing price point as well. It goes on light but doesn’t leave my skin needing more. It’s been several hours now and my face still feel soft. Conclusions: Bliss says they can clear your skin in two weeks. I’m going to be updating you guys in a week to let you know what results I’m seeing. I’m also going to be purchasing the bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Liquid Peel because exfoliation is a must for me. I’m really excited to see what happens!

My morning routine
Hi everyone 👋 these are my daily morning routine products! Let me know what you think! bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Gel Cleanser bliss - Clear Genius Clarifying Toner + Serum I’ve already talked about the first two products in my nighttime routine so if you wanna hear my thoughts on those check out my first post! HOWEVER, I don’t always use the cleanser in the morning because like Cassandra Bankson said “how dirty can your face get overnight?”. So I only cleanse if my face is super oily (which it rarely is). If it isn’t oily then I skip straight to my toner. The Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% I put this on after my bliss serum only on my problem areas such as breakouts and large pores just as a gentle spot treatment. I gave this 4 stars because I had used up an entire bottle and repurchased and still don’t see wonderful results. It does minimize pores and oil production but it takes a long time to get rid of breakouts and doesn’t heal acne scars or prevent future breakouts like the bliss clear genius does. ORIGINS - Clear Improvement Pore Clearing Moisturizer with Salicylic Acid bliss - Bright Idea Vitamin C + Tri-Peptide Collagen Protecting & Brightening Moisturizer I switch between these two moisturizers depending on what I need for the day. If I’m having a really bad breakout day I will use origins because of that extra acne fighting power. I rated it 4 stars however because it piles off and although it isn’t oily it looks like it on the skin if you put just a bit too much. The bliss bright idea is my go to for everyday and has not caused me any problems. It has vitimin c and collagen which will leave your skin moisturized and help with brightening and clearing scars. It also has niacinamide which is going to help with the oil production. I love this cause it is amazingly moisturizing, fighting oily skin, clearing acne scars, brightening and antiwrinkle!

Looks good but not hydrating enough for my skin
I received the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask for my birthday about a month ago. It definitely smells DIVINE and I’m a sucker for a good scent. The bottle also looks lovely on my bathroom cabinet. The product has a real gel-like consistency. Can be a bit difficult to extract a good amount from the bottle, I probably shouldn’t have thrown away the scoop applicator that came with it 🤦🏼‍♀️ The first time I used this mask I just put it on dry clean skin with no other product. I woke up with my skin feeling a bit tight and dry. So after that I used a face oil first and then followed up with a good hunk of the mask on my face and neck. This helped but am still waking up feeling like my skin is a bit tight. The website does say to use extra if you have dry skin but I feel like I’m already using a lot. The mask is supposed to be smoothing and hydrating but I haven’t really noticed any difference in my skin. I tend to find that my skin prefers creamier masks and creams to these gel-like ones anyway. Probably not going to buy again✖️

Empty review 🤍
Had two amazing products go empty on me today. Figured I would let you know some products that are worth a purchase! ORIGINS - Clear Improvement Pore Clearing Moisturizer with Salicylic Acid I love that this moisturizer has 1% salicylic acid in it as well as bamboo charcoal. It is moisturizing, reducing oil production and acne clearing. It took me a long time to find a moisturizer that didn’t clog my pores and cause acne and this is an amazing one. It has an amazing but strong scent to it. I personally love the smell and have never been sensitive to that kind of thing. The reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is for two reasons. First, it applies almost feeling and looking greasy. However, it mattifies within 10-15 minutes and looks fine UNLESS you put too much on which I’ve done more than once. Second it’s hard to reapply throughout the day or over certain products because this tends to pill if messed with too much. So I press it into the skin and avoid swiping it on. GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask I already have a review of this product and my opinions are still raving. Go check out my old post about this for more in depth thoughts. This is perfect for all skin types but is especially friendly for acne prone oily skin gentle exfoliation overnight natural feeling hydration acne fighting ingredients increases cell turnover, helping with acne scars and hyperpigmentation anti-aging ingredients

If you have combination skin, it can be tricky to find products—you may find something that improves dryness only to worsen oiliness or vice versa.

Was I living under a rock! Like why did no one tell me about glow recipe! I have no idea how I did not know what glow recipe was. To be fair I have not personally tried any of these products but it is one I’m super excited to test out. Their packaging is like a work of art😍 and their ingredient lists are so good. And all of their products claim to be safe for acne prone skin....but we will see about that. The only thing that I’m worried about is that most of these products have fragrance in them and my skin is semi sensitive so Ill see how my skin reacts. But the good thing is is that it’s the very last ingredient on all the products ingredient list👍🏼. Side note, I’m especially excited to try their new pore refining toner GLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow PHA+BHA Pore-Tight Tonerwhich just launched yesterday!😁 GLOW RECIPE - Pineapple-C Brightening Serum GLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Glow Ultra-Fine MistGLOW RECIPE - Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser GLOW RECIPE - Banana Soufflé Moisture CreamGLOW RECIPE - Avocado Melt Retinol Sleeping Face MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping MaskGLOW RECIPE - Watermelon Pink Juice Oil-Free Moisturizer

This is why you should by trial size first!
This is why you should by trial size first!
So I do this thing in order to try a bunch of different products and find the ones I love. I buy TRIAL SIZE FIRST! I can spend sooooo much money on skincare when I know I shouldn’t so I started trying the mini of products which financially speaking isn’t maybe the most “bang for your buck” but at least I spend $12 on something and not $38 before I find out I don’t really like it. Regardless, I buy trial size to determine if something is worth the splurge or not and then I am exposed to a bunch of new options to upgrade my skincare. I have wanted to try the OLEHENRIKSEN brand for a while and so when I saw the balance mini kit on sale I jumped on it. (Like literally jumped in the air when I received the package). So here is my honest opinion of these 4 products: OLE HENRIKSEN - Pore-Balance Facial Sauna Scrub let’s start on a high note. LOVED this scrub. Everything in this collection has menthol-y feel which is intensified if you do this in the shower which is usually how I do scrubs. (My routine is to exfoliate with a scrub whenever I wash my hair - every other day or so). My pores have never felt soooooo clear. It really felt like a sauna for my skin. Plus, my boyfriend (who I force to do skincare) said he felt like he was breaking out by his nose so I put this scrub on him and the pimple disappeared! 🥳 OLE HENRIKSEN - Balancing Force Oil Control Toner on to the toner. Gotta say, I didn’t love it. It makes my skin feel dry and tight and it burns a little bit. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin so I can imagine that it’s all the worse for those who do. I will say that my forehead and nose can get oily in the summer and that was taken care of with this toner. But overall, would not recommend. OLE HENRIKSEN - Counter Balance Oil Control Hydrator NOPE! Highly disliked this. One could even say hated. Does not provide moisture and it felt like it wasn’t adding anything to my skin just taking away. My face is not that oily so I think it’s just not the right moisturizer for me. If you know anything about me, it’s that I love moisturizer. OLE HENRIKSEN - Cold Plunge Pore Mask I liked but I didn’t love this mask. This was the product that I bought this set for and while I do like it, I’m not sure I would give it the same rave reviews that others have given. It applies very smoothly and has a cooling sensation when you are wearing it. The color is really pretty (see picture!) but that’s not a reason to buy a mask. Also: this set is supposed to shrink pores and I don’t really find that it did that for me but maybe it just takes a little more time. Overall, this was super surprising to me. I didn’t think I would love the scrub as much as I did and dislike the other things as much as I did. I will definitely be buying the full size of the scrub but jury’s still out on the mask.

Thoughts on Tula Skincare🧊
Thoughts on Tula Skincare🧊
Loving @Tula lately as this brand has some really interesting products to offer. And enjoyed this photo shoot with the vibrant bottles they have😍 💧I'll talk about the Acne foam cleanser TULA SKINCARE - Keep It Clear Acne Foam Cleanser first. I was avoiding acne face washes as my hormonal acne flared up in last two weeks and they tend to dry my skin out. I then started using this cleanser, at first it didn't seem to help me and also I thought this is exactly similar to all foam cleansers out there that are drying and stripping but this is different. If you're looking for a cleanser that won't strip your skin and won't make you purge badly, this is the one for you! 🌟 Ingredients breakfown: ✨Salicylic Acid: treats and prevents acne ✨Licorice & Azelaic Acid: help brighten the look of marks left by past blemishes ✨Probiotics & Tea Tree Oil: help calm the look of redness & inflammation ✨Ginger: helps soothe the skin 2% salicylic acid provides major acne-clearing power, while superfood licorice helps brighten the complexion. This is suitable for all skin types! 💧The Pro-Glycolic 10% resurfacing toner TULA SKINCARE - Pro-Glycolic 10% pH Resurfacing Gel is great for sensitive skin types. It gets the job done also while keeping the exfoliation at minimum and not irritating. It isn't my holy grail but I really enjoy using this toner. The consistency of this toner is like light serum than a liquidy toner. I take some on my palm and tap it in the skin. ✨Ingredients breakdown: ✨Pro-Glycolic Complex proprietary blend of 100% natural lactobacillus probiotics and 10% glycolic acid helps tone and exfoliate skin and removes excess oil and debris. ✨Natural Mushroom + Beet Extract is 400X more hydrating than hyaluronic acid alone. ✨Turmeric Extract is a powerful antioxidant that helps reduce signs of inflammation. ✨Blueberry Extract natural anti-oxidant helps to fight free radical damage. Overall I like the brand, it’s effective 👍

You Don’t Need A Dermatologist When You Can Layer Your Dermalogica!
You Don’t Need A Dermatologist When You Can Layer Your Dermalogica!
That heading is pretty much how I feel about Dermalogica. Their products have quite literally been a lifesaver for my oily and acne-prone skin. I got their “normal/oily skin kit” a while ago and actually ran out, so I recently purchased a new set! That’s how much I love them! I love to start my day using the kit, and it is so convenient for me. I no longer mix up my routine, use my PM products in the morning on accident, or forget a step in between. All because this kit covers everything I look for in my morning routine! I always start with the Special Cleansing Gel to clean my face in the mornings. With my oily skin, my pores get clogged with the sebum, so I find that I need to cleanse my face every morning. This one is absolutely perfect, with the right texture and amazing, soft scent. I can feel that my oil production is getting under control! After cleansing, I love to layer on a nice spray of the Multi Active Toner mist. This layer helps hydrate my freshly washed skin, but also is a great layering product because it allows the next layers to sit on the skin and absorb really well. It is such a fresh and fun way to wake up in the morning! I usually like to use a serum such as tea tree oil after my toner, then follow it with the Oil Control Lotion also by Dermalogica. This lotion is a true miracle! It does its job and is so lightweight! It doesn’t feel like I have anything on at all, which is a huge plus for me especially during the summer months. The scent is also not overbearing too! I would definitely rate it a 10/10. The Kit consists of five products; the cleansing gel, the multi active toner, a skin scrub that I use twice a week after cleansing, a moisturizer that I love to use after the oil control lotion, and lastly, the eye cream. The kit is such a lifesaver for those mornings when you are especially groggy and might also be running late for the day! dermalogica - Special Cleansing Geldermalogica - Multi-Active Tonerdermalogica - Intensive Eye Repairdermalogica - Skin prep scrub

Morning Skin: Cleanse and Tone (I/II)
Morning Skin: Cleanse and Tone (I/II)
This is my current march skin care routine, Part I My skin: Oily, acne, scarring, pores ☀️Morning Cleanse and Tone ☀️The Products 1) Aveeno - Positively Radiant Brightening Facial Cleanser Has an amazing texture and feel on my face without drying. Skin feels nice and clean, active ingredients are meant to increase brightness over time. decent price as well! 2) Milk MAKEUP - Matcha Cleanser I love the stick format of this cleanser, and Milk’s products are all clean and vegan. The little exfoliant beads are helpful but hard to wash off. it is a touch pricey at $28 3) Milk MAKEUP - Matcha Toner I would recommend this product over everything in this lineup. it removes oil, calms skin, and feels reallllly good. the price is $28 for a stick, but it lasts a super long time (3+ months) I start out with a splash of cold!! water and rub two pumps of the Aveeno cleanser into my skin. I use the as Milk Matcha Cleanser an exfoliant and scrub that in with the Aveeno. Then, i rinse my face with cold water, pat it dry, and tone with the Milk Matcha toner. This routine gets the oil from the night off my face and freshens up my skin. I scrub off any dead flakes and brighten up. Cold water makes my pores appear smaller and dries me out less. Check my profile for individual indepth eviews of products!
