Highly Recommended for oily skin！
Maybelline makes excellent liquid foundations, but their BB creams have not stood out to me in the past. That's why I didn't have any expectations from the new Maybelline Super BB Cream . It promises may things: high coverage with a satin finish, all-day wear, and high SPF at 50 PA++++. The texture is light and sets with zero tackiness on my skin. Coverage is amazing; I have a few dark blemishes on my chin now but they disappear almost completely with just one layer of this BB cream. Nevertheless, the formula never feels like a heavy mask on my face, even when I've worn it for hours. A little goes a long way. I also love that it features SPF50 PA++++. That makes it an excellent everyday base! I may even skip the sunscreen if I won't be exposed in the sun for too long. The Super BB Cream has stayed for eight hours on me with minimal fading. I have super oily skin but I don't get as oily, either. I highly recommend the Maybelline Super BB Cream if one of the two shades suit you. I don't mind mine being slightly lighter; it doesn't look that off in person. I do use a powder foundation that's the exact match of my skin (just not in the photo above; I'm only using a translucent mineral powder) so the lighter BB cream doesn't really show through. If you're looking for a long-wearing, high SPF, flawless coverage base, you will love the Maybelline Super BB Cream. ^_^ Let me know if you've tried it already!
Gentle drugstore makeup remover
chemicals. It has a clean herbal smell, doesn't cling to the skin, leaves your skin feeling clean & moisturized. I have combination skin and I primarily use this to remove my mascara & eye makeup, as a part of my double cleansing routine. My one complaint is the packaging, the bottle is sold with a screw cap. To use: wash your hands (some people forget to wash their hands before cleansing their face), then use 4 pumps and massage the oil into your skin, I take particular time massaging around the drier areas of my face. I massage for about 1 minute and then run my hands under the water and massage my face for about 30 seconds, when the product meets water it turns kind of milky. Then I use a sponge cloth (I have a Dermalogica one) to remove everything from my face. It is also mild enough to use around your eyes and is great at removing make up and, in particular, eye make up (although I double cleanse to take my make up off anyway). Results: my skin feels a lot smoother and my skintone is more even since I started using this. My skin feels very hydrated as well, very supple. I personally do not like face washes but love cleansing balms and oils so I love this product and will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

Too small and only for light skintone
I just received the new mini palette from NARS. This one is the Mini Orgasm Eyeshadow Palette. The colours in this palette are pretty, definitely the types of warm toned peachy shades I wear day to day. But I suppose the color is only suitable for a light skin tone. Even a medium skin tone person may find the shades a disaster. However, the size of this palette is literally as big as a credit card. The six pans are so small I can barely use my finger to sweep on the product. The two shimmer shades (gold and red, bottom two) were very patchy and did not go on the skin smoothly. They might be toppers as they didn’t have much pigment. The pros are that the shades are pretty for me, the cons are that even at a low-ish pricepoint for NARS, this is still really expensive for the quantity of shadow you're getting. I bought both of the new nars eyeshadow pallet the full size quad for $52, and this mini one for $25 . not sure what happened but the mini version seems to have alot less quality pigment, it does not stay on and it's very hard to work with, very patchy . almost like dollar store eyeshadows ,but worse. The full size one however is much better quality and the pigments are like butter. I don't recommend it, for the same price you can get a larger and better quality Natasha Denona mini palette.

CHANEL #Warm vs NARS #Organism
These two palettes are in similar tone and shade. The CHANEL palette costs $65 while the NARS is $52. I have to say they are quite alike and it is not necessary to buy both of them. NARS - Quad Orgasm Eyeshadow Collection#Organism Shimmering Gold Champaign Pink Matte coral Shimmering Coco CHANEL - LES BEIGES Healthy Glow Eyeshadow Palette#WARM Shimmering peachy pink Shimmering light pink Glitters Matte beige Matte dark brown The texture of CHANEL is softer than the NARS but for me it is too small. My eyeshadow brush can't fully catch the color. Cause it is said that these two palettes are also similar to Pillow Talk, I make a comparison here and you may find the differences. For me the colors in CHANEL are in more common use and the texture is better than the other three. You may choose the one you like.

CHANEL new eyeshadow palette for Summer---Good for beginners!
Chanel does a shimmer&matte natural eyeshadow for summer, needless to say I am first in line 🙋🏽🙋🏽The colors are warm as its name suggests, with shimering light pink&light orange, matte brown and glitter white. The matte color is more pigmented. I know people have been underwhelmed by this one, am glad to report I am not one of them 😏 To me this has decent pay off, good colour selection and makes for a good travel palette. That's all I need for a buy vs. bye 😝This palette is stunning and is just fine for a light makeup. Blending: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Practicality: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Color payoff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommendation: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

B R A N D S P O T L I G H T : FARMACY
Farmacy has been one of my favourite brands for the last two years. Over the years I have discolouration from my acne that i’ve picked at. (Dont lie I know we’ve all done it!!! LOL) I’ve used multiple products and yes I wear sunscreen daily and yes I re-apply throughout the day (shout out to coola) but nothing seemed to help lighten the discolouration.... Until very cherry bright!! Ive tried multiple vitamin C serums and I’m picky on texture. This guy goes on super light and doesn’t have a funky smell. I’ve also paired this up with the honeymoon glow which is an AHA resurfacing serum to speed up my skin cell turnover. Over time my scars have lightened and my skin looks brighter. My only regret was not taking before and after photos. I highly recommend this as the price isn’t as steep as most vitamin c serums. Try it out and let me know your thoughts! :) FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm FARMACY - Cheer Up Brightening Vitamin C Eye Cream with Acerola Cherry FARMACY - Very Cherry Bright 15% Clean Vitamin C Serum with Acerola Cherry FARMACY - Honeymoon Glow Serum

This product fixed my strawberry legs
skinfix - Resurface+ AHA Renewing Cream Scrolling on Sephora, I was looking for a product that could help my rough and bumpy legs. I often get ingrown hairs and irritation from shaving. I came across this AHA lotion from skinfix and decided to give it a try. Firs off, the product is a huge tub. You definitely get bang for your buck because this would last me so long. I’ve had it for a month so far and it looks like I’ve barely put a dent in it. I wasn’t expecting this to have a scent to be honest because I thought it was going to be for sensitive skin. I didn’t like the lime scent at first, but now I really enjoy it. The scent actually doesn’t irritate my legs as I thought it would and I enjoy it now! It smells so much like a margarita! After almost 1 month if pretty consistent use, I can say that I’ve seen results! I’ve paired the use of this with a body scrub on my legs and while my legs aren’t perfectly smooth, they’re definitely better! My legs are way less itchy and irritated after shaving and my skin tone is a lot more even. My legs are drastically less red and bumpy! I wish I had a before and after but I didn’t even think of snapping a before photo! My only downside to this product is that its a bit expensive. $45 is a lot for a body lotion. As an alternative, I think people would see results with the Cerave SA lotion. While it’s a BHA not an AHA, I think the results would be comparable.

after 3 months I am on the last few drops of my The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% and Zinc 3%. . . I want to give this product a fair review and that is: I used it all up for a reason, because it worked. This solution is designed to reduce the look of blemishes and help fight against sebum (oily white heads that block your pores and pop up looking nasty)..which is why I got this, as my chin had this sort of congestion. . . What you may not know is that Niacinamide is also known as Vitamin B3 and can help restore the skin, and improve a multitude of skin imperfections like the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, dullness, and a weakened skin surface. It actually helps enhance the skins barrier function which reduces signs of aging! . . Having used The Ordinarys version of this product all I can say is, that yes it absolutely reduced congestion and white heads on my chin. The other brilliant effects of Niacinamide which I mention, I didnt notice. I used this for a total of 3 months and my chin cleared up within 2 weeks and has been clear since. I only used this on my chin and only in the evenings. . . So YES, it worked but i wouldnt buy it again, because it did feel cheap. The solution was sticky, viscous and sometimes it went kinda soapy on application. At times after a few nights of use, my chin had slight red blotches, which went away after I stopped using the product for a few days. It was also impossible to put on in the am, as it took a while to absorb and make-up didnt sit well on top! . . as a quick fix and a cheap solution- yes absolutely I recommend. as a long term investment into healthy skin, i would find a Niacinamide product from a more established luxury brand. Hope that clears things up (excuse the pun!)

Creamy Matte Lips
Let’s get into clean beauty! This creamy matte lip crayon is BITE - Power Move Creamy Matte Lip Crayon The application is extremely smooth and long wearing as well. To be honest I didn’t realize it was a matte lip crayon because it went on with a shimmery finish. However, when I drank or ate food it barely transferred (which truthfully I was shook). The color popped severely against my brown skin and it’s hard to come by lippies that are universal. Let’s get into this smell though, it’s formulated with pomegranate oil, wild african mango, and orange peel wax (sounds almost good to eat)! As I was applying it, I began thinking it should be a perfume because it smelled so delightful. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend and I’m ready to swatch more colors!

Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Mist and the Cream are two of my favorite products from the line so it’s no surprise that I enjoy the corresponding sheer mask. As with luxury products, it is a bit expensive for $12 a mask. My favorite way of using it is as a pre makeup skin preparation because to ensure a glowing base. It leaves my skin looking luminous and hydrated. It will be a continued purchase but saved for special events.

Ever have your favorite makeup artist tell you exactly what products they used to achieve your favorite look AND IT STILL DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT...!? That's because placement is key and where you apply your makeup can make a big difference in your overall look. Concealer: Apply in an upward direction. To lift the outer corners of the eye. Applying “light” will give them the appearance of being lifted and less droopy. DONT only apply concealer under your eyes. You need concealer in other areas to balance off the light and dark shading of the face. Bronzer: Focus on the high points of your face where the sun would naturally “tan” you. The high cheeks, temples and hairline. DONT only apply bronzer to your cheeks. It gives off an unrealistic look and just looks like a deep tawny blush rather than an overall sun kissed look. Blush: Like the bronzer I apply blush very high on the cheeks. I'm talking Almost to the temple! And then of course blend. Having the concentrated color higher on the face will will give someone looking at you a higher focal point and make your face appear lifted. DONT only apply blush to the apples or your cheeks. Applying color to the centers of your cheeks will make them look more round. (And that's what we're trying to avoid!) Brows: Comb your brows upward to see the natural length of your hairs and the outline that you can fill in while still having the brows appear natural. Combing them up first will let you know how much room on top you can pencil in while still being able to cover the strokes with hair. Always use a pencil with up and down strokes to mimic the growth of the hairs. DONT pencil in your brows in linear lotions. Any side to side movement will make the brow too dark and not fluffy enough. EYESHADOW Keep your darkest colors away from the top lid/ lash line. As we age we see our eyes closing more and more (guilty!) and adding darkness on the top lid only makes them appear heavier and smaller. Keep your dark shadows to the crease and outer corners. Keeping the lid light will attract more light and make your eye appear larger and more open/awake. DONT apply your darkest shadow on the lash line/ lid. It closes the eye and make air appear smaller. EYELINER Apply 1/3 or 1/2 of the bottom lash line. (From the outer corner in) only lining a portion of the eye will give the open area a sense of width and allows the eye to appear larger and more open. DONT line your entire bottom lash line. Tracing your lash line makes your eye look smaller since your basically telling people to look at the literally shape of your eye and not the “shape” you're creating. LIPS With a pencil the same color as your lips over line ever so slightly. This will make your lips look larger and more plump which helps with and over youthful appearance. I like to over line and then run my finger over it to blend it out a bit as to not make it obvious but rather subtle. DONT over draw an entirely new mouth on. Ok these are just a couple steps that hopefully will get you excited about trying your new products and placing them in the best possibly position on the face to make the most flattering look possible!
