MatthewBorstOMG isn’t Clips amazing?! I recommend shooting a bunch of videos in your normal camera first and then uploading them. You can also try just using product photos and voiceover for a different type of vibe! And always start or finish with a fun slate. Can’t wait to see what you make!

FULL Gentle Hydrating Skincare Routine
This has kind of been the theme of my entire Cherie page since its creation, but I’ve been needing to really hydrate my skin more since the weather’s become colder. Having rosacea means I always need to do extra research on the products I try. So after some experimenting, trying a LOT of new products, and deciding to stick to some old favorites, this is the routine I’ve come up with for myself: AM Routine Cleanser - The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm: A recent switch for the winter from Cosrx Good Morning Gel. I’ve never used a balm before and I have to say, I really like it. It does an excellent job of cleansing away any dirt or excess oils but leaves my skin feeling incredibly nourished. Toner - FAB Wild Oat Ultra Hydrating Toner: Another recent switch. This toner is so hydrating that I don’t need to use hydrating masks or overnight creams as frequently as I used to and it’s very calming. Serum - Peach & Lily’s Glass Skin Refining Serum: This is definitely worth the hype. My skin has been noticeably smooth since using it. Spot Treatment - TULA Go Away Acne: Uses benzoyl peroxide to work on acne which can interfere with rosacea, so I don’t use this on my cheeks but it works well in other areas. Not a repurchase for me. Eye Cream - Cetaphil Deep Hydration Refreshing Eye Serum: I said recently that eye cream doesn’t work for me, but I’m starting to get wrinkles under my eyes and thought it was important to kick up the hydration and attention. This one is quite gentle and pretty affordable. Moisturizer - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion: Undefeated! If I need some extra hydration I’ll add a couple drops of Leo Oil and mix on my hand using my ring finger. Sunscreen - EltaMD SPF 46 on days with no makeup or ILIA Serum Skin Tint: Both are mineral sunscreens and unscented with protection in the 40s. PM Routine Cleanser - The Inkey List Oat Cleansing Balm: ...and I’ll double cleanse with my old Cosrx Good Morning Gel if I wore makeup that day. Toner - FAB Wild Oat Ultra Hydrating Toner Serum - Paula’s Choice CALM 1% BHA Lotion Exfoliant or 10% Azelaic Acid Booster: I like to alternate between these two serums. The BHA (salicylic acid) targets pores and redness. The Azelaic Acid Boost contains salicylic acid too, but is more effective at targeting rosacea specifically. Eye Cream - Veriphy 20/20 Eye Cream: Received this as a gift and I actually really like it! Contains ingredients like peptides, niacinamide, and cucumber extract. But it’s wildly expensive and I won’t be able to repurchase. Moisturizer - CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion + Astrologiens Leo Oil: At night I always combine these two if I’m not using my Naturium Sleeping Cream (2 pumps + 2 drops). I have individual reviews on a number of these products, so if you’re interested in learning more about something feel free to check those posts out or just ask a question here :) Most of these products are generally rosacea and sensitive skin safe. I have type 1 rosacea for reference.
Please Help !!
Hi ! I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this is ? I’ve never really dealt with this before, the only time i get acne is the week before, the week of, and the week after I get my period, but this has not gone away at all. I haven’t done anything different with my usual routine, please let me know if there’s anything I should add or change. I have sensitive/dry skin. THE inkey LIST - Oat Cleansing Balm FIRST AID BEAUTY - Pure Skin Face Cleanser CeraVe - CeraVe Moisturising Cream The Ordinary - AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution The Ordinary - 100% Plant-Derived Squalane *Please do not recommend Cerave Hydrating Cleanser or Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser, they both burned and irritated my skin.

NEOGENLAB - Real Cica Micellar Cleansing Foam When I arrived back in CA, I had a NATURE REPUBLIC - Collagen Dream Vitamin C Capsule Foam Cleanser that was still lying around but it was drying my face out like crazy! As such, I ended up purchasing this Neogen cleanser since it’s advertised for sensitive, dry skin that’s prone to redness. Well, I don’t have dry skin but my face was certainly suffering from it since the other product had stripped it all out. I would say that this product is just OK. It contains cica (also known as centella asiatica) which is very “in” right now due to its ability to soothe and repair irritated skin. I do like that the cleanser is very gentle and my skin doesn’t feel tight at all after using it. But beyond that, it’s hard for me to say what else it’s doing. It could be working and I just don’t even realize it! (You don’t know what you have until you don’t have it I guess 😩) Despite it being labeled as a foam cleanser, it hardly lathers up at all. In the evenings, I use it as a second step after oil cleansing with my BANILA CO - Clean It Zero Cleansing Balm Original which is nice since it does help to clear up the oily feeling. I don’t regret buying this product since, if anything, it hasn’t worsened my skin condition, which is always good, but I think I would like to try something new in the future!

Redness Relief Product-SheMoisture Clay Cleanser
I have always struggled with a red and easily irritated complexion. I found this product during a sale at Ulta recently and decided to give it a shot while it was discounted. The first thing I noticed about the product is how thick it is and it is a little difficult to evenly distribute across your face. After my first wash, I realized that this product would not be able to be used on its own because it really doesn’t remove makeup well. This was a little bit of a bummer for me because I really prefer a face wash that can do it all. Currently, I use it just after I use a more cleansing face wash. I do notice that it calms the redness in my face a little bit and has never further irritated my skin. It also smells fantastic! I’m not sure if i’ll be buying it again as I’m still searching for the perfect do it all face wash, but I would say it’s worth a shot to anyone fighting with redness because it’s not too expensive. If you are going to have one make up remover product in your skin care stash....THIS IS IT!! I can’t rave about this enough, from the texture to the skin feel to it’s natural green smell to how it feels during and after wash. It’s hits all the marks. It’s sensitive on the skin but so effective at removing and loosening everything on the face. I haven’t noticed this creating any acne as my skin is prone to this using certain products. Its like a treat for your skin with its hydrating oily silky feel. It is a fairly reasonable price point 22 dollars at Sephora but for what it does it’s worth every penny. Highly recommend this product!! FARMACY - Green Clean Makeup Removing Cleansing Balm

The Iunik Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil and my precious Bioderma Sensibio Micellar Water are tied for my HG makeup removers - HIGHLY recommend. This cleansing oil is super gentle and works like a dream. It easily and quickly removes eye makeup without any rubbing and doesn’t irritate my eyes or blur my vision. Calendula is excellent for acne prone or sensitive skin because it soothes inflammation and also has antiseptic properties - thinking I need to incorporate more of it in my rotation. I need to be soothed 24/7. The price on this is great too, 200ml for $13 - $22 (depending where you order from). Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Canola Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower extract, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Cananga odorata flower oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate.

dr. Brandt Clean Biotic
This has been my go-to nighttime face cleanser. I love that it’s ph balancing and I feel that it does a great job of cleaning all the dirt and yuck off my face from the day. It doesn’t have a scent, which in this case I think is a good thing. This is a great product for sensitive skin, it hasn’t broke me out or irritated my skin whatsoever. This product is a little pricey, but I think it is overall worth it. Totally recommend!dr. brandt - Clean Biotic pH-balanced yogurt cleanser with chlorophyll
