Straight Hair Problems..

Having straight hair can be a blessing sometimes, but more often than not, it is NEVER like magazine hair or TV commercial hair. If you have straight hair, you probably relate when I say that it maintains volume for a couple of days, but then it flattens down and there just doesn’t seem to be any life in it. Especially for hair like mine. Not only is it straight, but it is also really fine and thin. This means that my hair just falls flat off my head like a boring waterfall. I used to wash my hair very frequently to keep the volume in it, but my scalp started getting irritated because I was using shampoo too often. So, I decided to look for different alternatives. I tried using volumizing hair sprays and gels, and even went as far as to tease my hair every day! Needless to say, it was a big hassle, and that part of my daily routine didn’t last very long. I finally figured out something that worked wonderfully for me. My cousin bought me a REVLON - Smooth Stay Medium Round Porcupine Brush
on Amazon as a gift to see if I was willing to try that out. Honestly, I was skeptical about it but believe it or not, it was perfect for my hair. It looks like a regular detangling paddle brush, but one that blow dries your hair while you use it. I love to use this product with my head bent forward and down so that my hair falls onto my face. I find that when I blow dry my hair this way, it becomes more voluminous and it tends to stay longer that way! I apply some sea salt spray into my hair while doing this, which gives my fine hair more texture and also helps keep it bouncy and looking full. I personally love the L'ANGE - Salt + Séa Texturizing Spray
which I bought for $20! The two products work really well together and really well for my hair too!

Flat iron Do’s & Dont’s
Flat iron Do’s & Dont’s
"No heat protection " This is a common mistake that most people make when blow drying their hair.  You can choose to apply a serum or a cream heat protector before drying on your damp hair or use an aerosol spray that you can spray on each section before you heat it with a flat iron or curl it. KÉRASTASE - Nutritive Nectar Thermique Conditioner This is my favorite heat protector cream this year. Kerastase has the best hair products for repair 👍 Since blow dryers have heat, and damp hair is more fragile than dry hair. If your hair is really fragile or breaking, it's the heat that brings the damage. Using heat protection will keep your hair in the best condition possible given the fact that you are using heat tools. This is also when most damage comes from. “Do not go up & down multiple times” When heating the hair with flat iron, try not go up and down. Correct way is to slowly moving from the scalp to the root. It makes all the follicles point the same direction. This also create the sleek finish and add extra shine if you do it correctly. Dos Comb your hair One thing you should notice is that the iron seals whatever goes into the hair. By this, it means that, if there are a lot of crinkles in a section of your hair and you go straight to straightening. What you did is to seal the whole section including all the crinkles into the hair. It is always recommended to avoid using a comb first. Section your hair I like to iron with small sections about 1 inch wide. Sectioning shift to diagonal section, keep portions nice and small, working on diagonal, easy to get the texture we want. give a light mist, once it gets dry, we can go ahead and apply the heat. One thing to notice here is that when we work on the diagonal, after the hair falls, it still has a little bit movement to it. So it doesnt get flat. What we did is that we keep the iron on the diagonal and this would leave with a much nicer result.

How to make your hair fluffy? My secret weapon is...🤫
How to make your hair fluffy? My secret weapon is...🤫
Hi guys!Today I want to recommend a great product to u! Let me introduce my hair condition first. My hair is medium width and recently I’m really bothered with hair loss. Even if I don’t comb my hair, it just fall off itself. Flattened hair makes people look low-spirited. I also considered wigs, but wearing wigs always looks strange. It is more important to take care your own hair! SO I’m searching for a long time to make the hair fluffy, after all, fluffy hair can increase the sense of volume visually! Finally, I found the magic weapon for first aid! It wasSchwarzkopf - Osis+ Dust It Mattifying Powder 10g During this period of time, I tried various things at home and found that it can really make my balding hair look much more good looking. What’s more, it will not damage the hair quality, and it can also help me to do more different hair styles. After using the this powder,my face even looks a lot smaller. I recommend it to everyone and hope you can all have fluffy hair! Here I will introduce to you the steps I usually use (dry hair and wet hair). 1. Use powder to put evenly on the hair roots and sparse hair parts at a distance of 20cm from the hair roots 2. Use your hands rub it again 3. Finally, use the “low volume” position of the hair dryer to dry the hair (blowing against the direction of the hair root will effect better!) Advantages:This powder is not like other styling products that will stick to hair. It is very refreshing and non-sticky, suitable for any hair type. My own hair is very soft, so my hair looks more fluffy after using it. This one is really easy to get started.

How to Survive Second Day Hair
How to Survive Second Day Hair
Second day hair can sometimes feel and look the worst – but it doesn’t need to be if you manage it properly. It’s difficult making sure your hair washing days line up with your gym schedule or days you actually might have to look presentable. All you need is a good trusty dry shampoo and some hair styling tips to get away with it (I won’t tell if you don’t!).Make sure to brush out your hair! It sounds obvious but sometimes I skip this step in the mornings (and I bet some of you reading do too!). One of my favourite brushes is this wide toothed wooden comb I bought from Amazon. It’s super gentle on the hair and can detangle any knots perfectly without any tugging. I switched to a wooden comb because I noticed my hair was getting extremely static a few months ago from the previous brush I had been using which had plastic bristles. I haven’t looked back since! A good dry shampoo goes a long way. One of my favourites is this cherry dry shampoo by Batiste. It’s super easy to work into the hair, great for building volume and leaves the hair smelling fruity and fresh. It great for absorbing any grease and gives my hair that boost that it needs, leaving it feeling clean all day. Curl your hair – I’m not sure about you but I’ve realised that curls work best on second day hair (and look the best too). They just hold so much better and for longer (even without hair spray). It’s great for adding some volume back into your hair that you might have lost after sleeping on it throughout the night. Make sure to use a heat protective spray before curling with a wider barrel for looser curls. Follow up with a volumising hair spray to hold your curls in and give it an extra lift.

The curling iron that shines your hair! ✨✨✨
The curling iron that shines your hair! ✨✨✨
Here I’m talking about Vidal Sassoon iPink series wet and dry curling iron. This curling iron can really be called an artifact. It may be the reason for negative ions from this iron, my curled hair is shiny than the uncurled hair, then why don't I get my hair done? It’s natural to roll your hair with a 32mm. I believe many bloggers have done this tutorial before. Every person’s hair length is different, so the effect of the curling iron will be different. But what I can make sure is that the curl is very natural and good looking. There are gears that can be adjusted. This is one of the reasons I like very much. I always adjust it to 180, so that the styling is faster and I can finish it at one time. And there will be a supernatural big curl even in the next day, so basically after washing your hair and getting it curled once, it can be maintained until the next washing. Then why do you bother to go out to barber’s for styling? There is also a function of wet and dry duel-use.I know, some girls who have bangs may have this feeling, that is, they need to wash bangs only when they go out, otherwise their hair will look like oily but not fluffy, and it seems that they have not washed their hair for a few days. But after washing, you still have to dry it. If you don’t have enough time, then you will trap into a hurry. This curling iron is a perfect solution to this problem. After washing your bang, you don’t have to dry it but just roll it directly, it will make the sound of "sizzle" like a barbecue and your bang are dry at once! And the damage to the hair is very small, you can use it freely. Leave your comment if you have any questions or suggestions!

caring for straight(ish) hair
caring for straight(ish) hair
Today I want to talk about how I’ve learned to care for my hair, which isn’t stick straight but usually isn’t *super* wavy either. It can also get pretty oily in the summer; I have oily skin on my face, and the two typically go together. First, I tend to wash my hair every day. I know some people are very against this, but it’s what works for me! Since my hair is pretty straight and thin, it tends to get weighed down with product and I hate the feeling of sleeping on it. So I wash it every night. When my hair is wet, I comb out any tangles with a wide-toothed comb. I’ve found this results in way less breakage than if I comb or brush my hair when it’s dry. I use a wooden comb that was a gift, so I’m unsure of what brand it is, but there are lots of great wide-toothed combs out there. I rarely blow dry my hair. I used to blow dry it every day in high school so it would be stick straight, but thankfully that’s not the look anymore 🙃 It’s straight enough without subjecting it to unnecessary heat every day, and heat also makes hair brittle and more prone to breakage unless you use proper heat protectant products. If I do blow dry my hair, I use amika: - Brooklyn Bombshell Blowout Spray to protect from heat and add extra volume and shine. I’ve reviewed this before, but just to recap: I love it! A little goes a long way to add just the right amount of volume to my hair. I’ll be honest: I haven’t been styling my hair much at all since I’ve been working from home since March 😬 Most days it’s just a scrunchie ponytail for me. I’ll occasionally add some Batiste - Batiste Dry Shampoo or SACHAJUAN - Dark Volume Powder to add some volume to my roots—both of these are great for making my roots look lifted, and I’m recommend them to anyone with straight hair in need of a little volume and texture.
