My oily skin has been absolutely THRIVING in the summer heat. Because of this, I had to go around on a scavenger hunt to find a product that would work well and get rid of my oily and acne-prone conditions. SAND&SKY - Australian Pink Clay Porefining Face Mask mini pink skys Australian clay mask. I really liked this sample, I found that my skin looked brighter and clearer after use, and it worked great on blemishes :)
Supergoop! - Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40 also enjoyed using this sunscreen, I hate when spfs feel greasy and leave white casts, and this was clear and left my skin with a mattish finish. I would consider repurchasing, itâs just a bit pricey at $34 for 1.7oz.
SOL de Janeiro - Brazilian Bum Bum Cream I love this so much! It smells amazing and itâs super hydrating, I already have the bigger size đ
VERSED - FOUND THE LIGHT Powder With VC I liked how easy this was to add to any product (I was adding a couple of shakes to my morning moisturizer), but ultimately I donât think it did much for my skin so I wouldnât repurchase.
CAUDALIE - Vinopure Natural Salicylic Acid Pore Minimizing Toner and CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser both were great minis, and they lasted me a while. They smell amazing, and did their job. I would consider purchasing the full sizes in the future.
THE inkey LIST - Niacinamide Oil Control Serum - not really an empty but it expired and turned a weird color so itâs time to toss. I like it and have another one that I will probably open soon.
SKIN&CO - Truffle Therapy Face Toner - I liked this toner, I know people arenât big fans of witch hazel but I find it works well for my skin. I got it in a FFF box and it lasted a while, but Itâs expensive and nothing too special so I wonât be repurchasing.
COSRX - Cosrx Acne Pimple Master Patch i liked these little patches, theyâre affordable and do a great job of drawing out pimple gunk.

Sephora favorites samples worth it? đâ¨
When I saw this Sephora favorites bag, I really wanted to get it for the ren body serum and the caudalie gel cleanser. I debated if it was even worth it, I bit the bullet and got it. Iâve got to say these are worth it. Itâs great that it includes a 15% off code for each item.
The caudalie purifying gel cleanser is 1oz. The full size is $28 for 5oz so it comes out to $5.60 and oz.
first time I tried it it felt really good on my face. Didnât dry me out and if I end up loving it Iâll have to get the full size.
CAUDALIE - Vinopure Pore Purifying Gel Cleanser
Ren clean skincare body serum, this came in a great 1.7 oz. The full size is $42 for 6.8 oz. so it comes out to about $6 with some change. Iâve been using this for a couple days and it feels great on my skin.
REN CLEAN SKINCARE - AHA Smart Renewal Body Serum
LancĂ´me mascara. This is the mini 0.06oz. The full size is $25 for 0.33 oz, $13 for the 0.13 travel size so the mini 0.06 comes out to $6.50.
Pretty nice mascara so far. It doesnât clump up.
LANCĂME - Monsieur Big Mascara
Ouai hair oil. This came in the 0.33 mini size. The full size is $28 for 1.5 oz, $14 for 0.45 oz. This mini size I will assume itâs about $10-12.
Just used this oil and itâs incredibly soft. The downside is the smell. Itâs pretty heavy but it kinda smells like gardenia flowers to me.
OUAI - OUAI Hair Oil
Make up for ever ultra HD microfinishing loose powder. Itâs in a tiny 1 g jar. The full size $36 for 8.5 g, $20 for 4 g travel size so the 1 g jar would be about $5.
Iâve had this powder before and really likes it a lot. Itâs super fine which I love. It sets my makeup well and hasnât given me that many creases.
MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder
Versace perfume sample. In a very tiny spray. Itâs 0.03 oz. The travel size in a spray is $30 for 0.3oz. So for 0.03 it would be about $3.75
Iâve had this in the travel size roller ball. Really nice perfume with flowery notes. I love the peony, lotus and magnolia scents.
VERSACE - Bright Crystal Eau de Toilette
This bag was definitely worth it to me. I ended up liking every single product. As in the price, Iâd say itâs pretty good. Personally the value of the bag is more than the $10 I spent.
This may definitely not be correct but this bag could have a value of about $37!
The math could be way off but to me I really liked this.

A+ lux cleanser
This is a daily cleanser that deep cleans the pores with a natural fruit exfoliant and hydrates the skin. It helps with minimizing pores, smoothing skin texture, and minimizing excess oil. Good for acne prone skin & oil control. Texture is a clear gel that turns into a creamy lather when massaged on the skin.
Iâve been using this about a month. Iâve been eyeing Tatcha skincare for a while, and a friend gave me a mini sample of this cleanser. And WOW I love it! It leaves my skin so hydrated, and soft as a babyâs butt cheek. Iâm blown away by this cleanser and have already ordered the full size.
Iâd definitely recommend this product! Itâs not cheap ($38) but if you can afford it I truly feel itâs worth it. Get the mini size and see if you like it first. But spoiler- youâll probably love it đ

TATCHA-The Deep Cleanse Exfoliating Cleanser
The Absolute Best! đ¤đ¤
The title really perfectly describes what I feel about the CAUDALIE - Instant Foaming Cleanser. While the name is so unassuming, the product itself does wonderful magic on my skin especially now that it is summer! The best part is that it is perfect for almost all types of skin!
My sister, who has dry sensitive skin, and I, with my oily skin, can use the same product, and it works on us both! It is a bit on the pricier side, but for the work it does, I would say it is worth it! It really helped improve the texture of my skin, and targeted the hyperpigmentation and dark spots that the acne breakouts left behind on my skin. Since it is getting warmer, my skin has been breaking out more frequently because of the increased production of sweat and oil, but the product really worked so well for me! Because of how well it worked on my skin, I had to do some research to figure out how!
As it turns out, the key ingredients are sage, grapes and Viniferine, with some chamomile extract to target inflammation of the skin. The sage helps with astringent properties like cleansing the skin and tightening the pores, two effects I immediately felt after using the product. The second ingredient, the grapes, help with moisturizing and hydrating the skin, which I felt was the perfect balance with the sage. Now, like me, you must have heard of sage and grapes, but you might not know what Viniferine is. It extracted from the sap of grapevines to target dark spots and Caudalie was able to extract this element which is about 60% more effective than Vitamin C!
After reading these properties, I could see and understand exactly how my skin is glowing. It feels soft and smooth after every use, and the product even smells great! 10/10 would buy this product again, and I strongly recommend this product for anyone in the market for a new cleanser in their routines!

đAlthough I rarely wear makeup, I have been trying to be more diligent with applying SPF- & no matter what I have on my face, I can trust that Green Clean will melt it all right away. It will truly emulsify an entire face of rich makeup quicker than you can say âGreen Cleanâ. I use this balm as a first cleanse- slap it on dry skin, right atop any makeup or product I have on my skin, and massage in. I generally choose to follow up with a second water based cleanser, however this is the *only* oil cleanser Iâve used that doesnât leave a residue if I skip a second cleanse and remove with a face cloth. This cleanser works wonders on my acne prone, easily congested skin.
đLime oil gives this balm such a fresh, clean scent that makes me drool every time! I love the consistency, I love the clean ingredient list and I love that itâs an affordable price point. Itâs fair to say that this has quickly become my favorite oil cleanser and I definitely see myself repurchasing. Iâm not sure if Iâm even interested in trying other oil cleansers, because I doubt they will live up to this one - thatâs how effective and lovable this baby is! I feel like Iâm miserably finishing up other oil cleansers I have laying around so I can live out my fantasy with the Green Clean hiding in my cupboard.𤤠(I also just got my mom hookedđ¤Łđ)

The consistency of the product is a rather thick mask. It is recommended in the directions to apply a think layer on damp skin and leave on for ten minutes. Now, not only does this mask feel great, itâs also not as drying as other clay masks can be. I personally enjoyed my experience with this product. Itâs a great go to for when your skin is feeling clogged and needs a good âdeep pore cleanse.â After my ten minutes, my skin felt refreshed and clean. This mask did not strip my skin, or left it feeling dry or irritated

It has Kaolin and Bentonite (the clays of the mask), and includes hydrating ingredients like Propanediol and Glycerin, as well as Aloe. Towards the bottom of the ingredient list, Allantonin and Vitamin E (Tocopherol) make an appearance.

Overall, this is a product thatâs definitely worth a try. Itâs hydrating ingredients make this a suitable mask for dry skin too, as well as the obvious oily skin. To anyone who needs to deep clean their pores, you should consider trying this mask.

I picked this skyn ICELAND - Glacial Face Wash up on a great sale at Ulta. The consistency of this cleanser is somewhere between a cream and a gel and it really foams up! It has a milky/pearly color. I have dry skin, but I think that this wash is aimed at more oily skin types. I did like the feel and scent of this wash as it was very refreshing, but it left my skin feeling a little tight. It has moisturizing ingredients and oils, but I found it drying. This would be a good cleanser for acne-prone oily skin as it has salicylic acid! I would only recommend it to friends with oily skin. It is $30 usually, and I think that is a little pricey for this product. Have you guys tried this? Iâd give it a 2.5/5 âď¸ rating. Not a bad cleanser, just not great for my dry skin. I wish this was better explained in the product description.

(BIOSSANCE) SQUALANE + TEA TREE CLEANSING GEL
The BIOSSANCE - Squalane + Tea Tree Cleansing Gel is a gel cleanser made specifically for oily and acne prone skin to control excess oil and purify pores. Its purpose is to cleanse while also controlling sebum and not stripping the skin. I really love this cleanser, itâs a nice cool gel that I received from Cherie not too long ago and have been using it for like a month. As an oily gal, often regular cleansers are too gentle for me and donât do much to help my oiliness. On the flip side, cleansers marketed specifically for oily skin are usually a bit harsh or contains a lot of alcohol. This Biossance cleanser definitely balances my skin without leaving it feeling tight or dry, which is awesome!! After I use it I feel like I have soft, normal skin and I have no oily shine on my face. I think what makes this cleanser different from other cleansers for oily skin is the squalene and tea tree oil in it. Squalane is an emollient that locks moisture into the skin and tea tree oil helps acne, is anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial. I think anyone who has oily or acne prone skin would love this cleanser. I would also recommend it to dry skin types because itâs really not that harsh and itâs good for acne, so I think anyone could use it and potentially like it!! Usually itâs $29 which isnât too bad in my opinion, but right now itâs discounted on Biossanceâs website for just $12 which is a STEAL! I seriously adore this cleanser, and right now the price is even better. 5/5 stars.
