Instant weight loss by collarbone contouring 🤔
You know how we girls sometimes can go out of our way to make us look better. And one extra step I would bother to take when doing makeup in summer is to contouring my collarbones to make them pop and more emphasized, especially when I am wearing crop tops. I mean, when these extra lines and blending can make us look in better shape, there is no loss in learning these tricks, right? I’ve prepared a breakdown of this technique and it’s really easy, now let’s see. · Products you need: ◇ a bronzer product that is pretty deeper than your skin tone ◇ a highlighter ◇ eyeshadows glitters (optional) · Products I used: ◇ Single eyeshadow in the shade “omega” from MAC ◇ Liquid highlighter in the shade “champagne pop” from Becca ◇ Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in the shade “diamond dust” from Stila · Steps and tips: ◇ Use a lotion to moisturize the areas you are going to contour. It’s like you would apply a primer to make your makeup lasts longer and looks better. ◇ Push your shoulders and brush the lines above and underneath your collarbones with the bronzer product of your choice. It’s okay if there are harsh lines and make sure you repeat several times so it will actually make a difference. ◇ Use a beauty blender to blend the bronzer and make it look natural. ◇ Apply the liquid highlighter right on the collarbones. ◇ Dab some glitters from any of your eyeshadows to add some subtle shines. They will look especially great under the sunlight. I personally find the glitter eyeshadow from stila a perfect choice at this step. ◇ You can use a setting spray to set if you worry it would smudge. So here are the steps to create a finely drawn glowy collarbones contouring. Hope it would help you and let me know the results in the comments if you try this out!

Hate It 😑
I’ve been wanting to try liquid eyeshadow so I picked up this one from Stila. Don’t do it! When this product says glitter they really do mean glitter. Glitter bomb more like. I can’t express how bad this looked on my eyelids. Glitter was everywhere. It was the color of this liquid eyeshadow that I thought was pretty, but when I tried to blend it in the color just disappeared. All that was left... glitter. From the outside this product looks pretty, but it was a nightmare to deal with. Even after a double cleanse the night I used this I still found glitter the next day. This eyeshadow definitely got promptly returned and I definitely would not recommend. What liquid eyeshadows do y’all love?
my everyday makeup ❀ ✧
i’m here to share my everyday makeup! i’ve stuck to this routine for a while and really love it. super simple but still makes me look put together for day to day activities and zoom calls lol. Too Faced - Natural Face Palette i got this for christmas a couple years ago and put it away. it’s never been used, but when i was going through my makeup i stumbled upon it and tried it for a couple days. i fell in love. my taste in makeup has been changing and i love more pinky blushes and don’t really need a super bright highlighter. i mix pink wink and pink sand on my cheeks and then after my eyeliner i use starlight for my inner corner highlight and my nose highlight. so beautiful and they pair so well. if u have a red undertone to your skin it makes you look so cute!!! highly recommend! also sometimes if i feel like it i put the bronzer shades on my eyelids for a bit of color e.l.f. - Wow Brow Gel in a recent ulta order i decided to pick this up because i’ve been trying to find my perfect tinted eyebrow gel, and i think i’ve found it! i love the way it holds my brows and the color is perfect. i believe it has fibers in it and it makes my brows look so fluffy! wet n wild - MegaLast Breakup-Proof Black Liquid Eyeliner this is the best drugstore eyeliner i’ve ever tried. almost every eyeliner i try smudges bc i yawn a lot throughout the day. it always ends up under my eyes creating the raccoon eye effect. but not this one. it stays put, the color is super rich, and it’s easy to apply once you get the hang of it as it is a brush tip. NYX - Vinyl Liquid Liner this eyeliner is really hard for me to apply eyeliner bc i’m not used to the brush yet. but i use it to put little dots under my eyes. i think it’s a simple way to add some ✨spice✨ to a simple makeup look 😊 wet n wild - Mega Length Mascara i love this mascara and especially the price. it stays put and keeps my lashes curled. the formula is pretty light which i really like bc it doesn’t weigh down my lashes. i forgot to add this product, but the last thing i do is put a little bit of stila - Glitter & Glow Liquid Eyeshadow in grace. i apply a little tiny bit on my finger and then gently pat it onto my eye. so beauty and again, a simple way to take a simple look to the next level. it’s not too shimmery and subtle if you put a little bit. i love it💗
Liquid Highlighters for Every Purpose
I’ve found I favor liquid formulations over powder ones, so here are my thoughts on a few liquid highlighters: BECCA - Ignite Liquified Light Face & Body Highlighter is SUPER concentrated. It’s a beautiful bright gold and provides coverage... which, I don’t prefer for my face. Even the smallest drop applied on the face makes you beam like the sun. However, I have found this is fantastic to apply to collar bones or chest for an extra pop! Rare Beauty - Positive Light Liquid Luminizer Highlight I’m a huge fan of the packaging both aesthetically and functionally. I got the Enchant shade which has a slightly pink hue and is perfect for a bare face or to use as a simplified blush+highlighter. I docked a star because the formulation does not dry completely, and therefore the wear is somewhat compromised. I tend to reach for this in lazy days when I don’t want many steps and when I am not planning to wear a mask, as it smudges some. flesh - Ripe Flesh Glisten Drops I have this shade in Aura, and it is great for a non-glittery, smooth, “glass skin” look. I don’t prefer this applicator, as the dropper can supply an inconsistent amount of product but this stuff dries down for a long wear glow that lasts through mask wearing. Glossier. - Niteshine Highlighter Concentrate this was my liquid highlighter first love. The lightest shade of this compared to the Flesh product is more champagne and gives more color. This also dries down to offer long wear. I feel similarly about this and the Flesh product, just feel they offer different shades to play with.
How to contour a round face: here’s my secret😬
Being a round face, I kinda enjoy people’s compliments of how I usually look cute and young. But it is an obstacle when I wanna try out some mature and sexy style. So at this time, contouring powders and technique are there to help me out. Today I want to share with you how I usually contour my round face to make it appear a little longer and slimmer. These are my tricks to adding definition of my face features. · What I will use: ◇ Bronzer: hoola from Benefit ◇ Highlighter: liquid highlighter in the shade “Champagne pop” from Becca ◇ Blush: Blush Bouquet Dual Blush Palette in the shade “Adore” from Jouer Cosmetics · Steps of contouring the face: 1. The first step is to emphasize your cheekbones since I believe most round-face girls are bothered by soft and rounded features on their faces. To achieve that, you want to first suck in your cheeks in the mirror to find the right area to start applying the bronzer powder with the brush it comes with. 2. Another place to use bronzer is where around your temples. Narrowing these two sides will make your face visually slimmer. Just use your brush to draw a “C” shape on both sides. 3. Next, use you finger to apply the liquid highlighter in three areas: under-eye area, the middle part of your forehead and also your chin. 4. And here comes the blush: use the blush to connect the areas of bronzer and highlighter and make sure they are blended out in a natural way. It would be a good idea to dab a little of the product on your chin. 5. Finally, it would be better if you could use a large face powder brush to blend all the products on your face to make sure there are no clear boundaries. · Some more tips: As you can see from my swatch, my chosen products are rather in the same undertone of golden and yellowish color. In this way they look more harmonious when used together. If you somehow use too much product, you could always save it by applying enough face powder to blend!

Accurate 1950s Makeup Colours
This is a scale of colours that I’ve curated through research of the 1950s. The shades are exact colour matches of real 1950s colours. Lipstick: Love that Red Head by Besame, Pink in the Afternoon by Revlon. Blush: Ricardo Rosé by Besame (club babalu pallette) Eyeshadows: Babablu and Tropicana Taupe by Besame (Club babalu pallette) Aqua by MAC (seafoam shade) In the 1950s we start to see a broad range of makeup colours come to the public as restrictions on makeup products are lifted. Lipstick was still a huge deal with (not overdrawn) but full Marilyn style lips. With popular colours being reds and pinks! People tended to use eye shadows that were the same colours as their eyes - blues and greens becoming more popular. Brows became fuller darker and more angled (Audrey hepburn-esque) Blush was peachy and minimal often used as a slight face contour.
Old Hollywood Vintage Makeup 🎞 📽🖤
Hey Cherie Sisters! Happy Friday Eve! ⚠️ First of all, I just want to say that I DO NOT condone smoking at all ⛔️ 🚬 🚫 ⚠️ I just used it as a prop because cigarettes are always seen in old Hollywood films and I wanted to add an extra oomph to the theme. 😜 I looked at “60s makeup” for inspiration. The 60s eye makeup emphasized the crease with dramatic winged liner and huge eyelashes. They stuck to neutral colors on the eyes and pair it with a peach or light pink lips. The beauty mark that Marilyn Monroe had was also popular. I used my MAC eyeshadows for this look because was feeling nostalgic. MAC eyeshadows were my favorite. I remember that I only bought MAC eyeshadows and used them religiously. Using them again reminded me of how pristine MAC eyeshadows are. They were so pigmented, easy to work with and blended beautifully. I seriously fell in love all over again. To achieve this look, I used: 1) MAC Embark which is an intense reddish-brown shade to define the crease. I used a smudger brush (Morphe M508) 2) I stamped MAC Soft Brown on top of Embark for that transition look. 3) Using my Wayne Goss 20 brush, I blended both colors together 4) I cut my crease using Tarte Shape tape then applied MAC Dazzlelight and Nylon on the lids 5) I used an angled eyeliner brush and a gel liner to draw a dramatic wing. I would suggest gel liner over liquid for more precision and drama 6) I applied MAC Soft Brown and Embark on the lower lash. 7) Use a white eyeliner to tight line. I used Colourpop Creme Gel Liner in Exit then use MAC Gesso (matte white eyeshadow) to intensify 8) Emphasize those lashes with falsies! I used House of Lashes in the style Bouidoir Lite 9) Apply lots of mascara on the bottom lash. Use falsies for bottom lashes to emphasize the look however, this step is optional 10) Channel your inner Marilyn Monroe and add that beauty marked. 11) For lips, I used KVD Vegan Beauty Liquid Lipstick in Lovecraft then topped it with Marc Jacobs Enamored Gloss in the shade Rah Rah!. A bold red lip would work too! 12) Enjoy! I hope you recreate this look and would love to see your finished look! 🤞 What is your favorite makeup era? Francesca 💋 #CheriePartner

To healthier beauty standards 🥂
Been playing around with my lighting and finally landed on something I like after days of trial and error! Better quality comes with raw video clips where nothing is hidden by a filter. I had my doubts as to if I want this to go up on the internet, was fed up with my skin being moody af but frankly this upload feels refreshing! So, while pcos has latched onto me for awhile now and although is not my favourite thing to have, It definitely taught me valuable things so here is me making my peace with it. Nothing gonna stop me from doing what I love💁🏻♀️ To healthier beauty standards 🥂
tried the new morphe gloss and idk how to feel😳
i got the new morphe eye lip and cheek gloss in their most recent glam fam package and i was so excited!! there’s nothing i love more than a clear gloss. in a lot of ways, it didn’t disappoint but after wearing it for a day i do... have some opinions. i don’t think this product is released yet so i’ve just used their current eye and lip gloss but i’ll update with the actual product when it hits the streets! MORPHE - Gloss Pop Face & Eye Gloss pros it is very glossy, leaves a super pretty finish on the lips and i felt like a doll the applicator is nice considering it’s for the lips AND face, it’s just a circular squeeze out instead of an applicator so it doesn’t collect any residue it feels good on the lips lol it’s so smooth cons it wears off pretty fast. the consistency is quite thin so it kind of melts into the lips or transfers off fast it smears lipstick down my chin! because it’s so thin, it’s easy to wipe off but it transfers a lot and i had to wipe it sooo much the tube is kinda small :/ i like a lot of gloss and after reapplying multiple times i can see myself running out kind of fast overall, it’s pretty for an instagram or photoshoot look but i wouldn’t wear it every day which is pretty standard for face glosses. i think it’s worth the money if you use it for that purpose but definitely not an every day buy. #cheriepartner
