DUPE FOR DRUNK ELEPHANT PROTINI?

avatar
Marialisa101
Hey everyone! Just wanted to show you a great dupe for the protini moisturizer! Like everyone, I am seriously obsessed with this moisturizer and had gone through a few jars. But after my 4th empty, I realized I can’t keep dropping $90 (Canadian) on a freaking cream. So I went searching and found ACURE. The Acure rejuvenating whipped night cream has:
multi-peptides (drunk elephant has the same ones!)
vitamin C
ferulic acid
glacial-glycoproteins (basically a molecule composed of a protein and a carb) shown to hydrate and smooth and protects skin from free radicals.
They are basically exact dupes as they have the same peptides and the same base of glycerin and hyaluronic acid. The only difference is that DE has amino acids. Also, it’s is definitely thicker than drunk elephant, but if you’re dry like me: the thicker the better. I’ve had zero break outs and no redness. It’s a great product and only $25 DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream

Drunk Elephant- The Littles 🐘
I won this cute little kit in a raffle & I couldn’t be more thankful! I have always wanted to try these products but never wanted to spend the money on all of them incase I didn’t like them! Inside this kit are the following products: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser Deluxe Sample DRUNK ELEPHANT - B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Tango Multivitamin Eye Cream DRUNK ELEPHANT - T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Resurfacing Night Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil DRUNK ELEPHANT - Umbra Tinte Physical Daily Defense Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 30 That’s literally a whole skincare routine! So far I started out my day with one of Drunk Elephants infamous “Face Smoothies” I washed my face with Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser & then combined C-Firma Day Serum, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil, & Protini Polypeptide Cream together on my mixing trey with a disposable skincare spatula! I applied it all over my face & neck. Once that absorbed, I applied Umbra Tinte Daily Defense SPF 30 over my face & neck & was done! I love how the kit comes with steps to walk you through different routines you can use in the morning or at night! I will do a follow up review after I have used all the products for a few weeks! But so far, my skin feels & looks great! I have been breaking out lately & haven’t felt the best about my skin so I really needed this pick me up!! Thank you for reading! You guys are the best!! ❤️ @cherie@Cheriebeauty@CheriePick

THE BEST MOISTURIZERS I HAVE EVER BOUGHT
These are my HOLY GRAIL moisturizers. I spent so much time looking for the perfect moisturizers, and I have arrived! 🤩 And everyone could benefit from any of these. I'm a huge believer in that even if you don't have "sensitive skin" it's so important to use moisturizers with non-irritating, and barrier protecting ingredients, that won't clog pores or cause breakouts. I am super prone to clogged pores, fungal acne, and breakouts, and I am extremely picky about my moisturizers. I only use ones that don't clog pores! For my oily skin babies, the #La Roche-Posay - TOLERIANE FLUIDE OIL FREE MOISTURIZER[products]#[FiveStars] is amazing! In the winter I found it to be not moisturizing enough, but in the summer it was perfect for my combo skin. There is no chance this moisturizer will clog pores or irritate breakouts. It's so lightweight and wears great under makeup. It's also oil, essential oil, and fragrance free. I do find this a bit overpriced, especially since I went through it pretty fast. It's the most expensive out of the three of these, being about $30. Some say this is purely an oily skin moisturizer, but I think anyone can benefit from the Benton - Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel I love using this especially after a chemical peel or when my skin is irritated. It's extremely calming and redness relieving. I find it to be both moisturizing and hydrating, especially when I lock it all in with my vanicream moistuizer which I will mention next! This gel is the only moisturizer I use on my forehead because it's AMAZING for FUNGAL ACNE. It has antibacterial properties and doesn't promote growth in fungal acne. It's smoothed down my forehead so much, and it's only like $15! Now let me tell you about the #Vanicream - Vanicream Daily Facial Moisturizer [products]#[FiveStars] . This is the BEST moisturizer I've ever owned in MY LIFE. Even though I don't have super oily skin, I still crave a deeply moisturizing moisturizer with ceramides and humectants. But most of them out there aren't suitable for acne prone skin. So for those of ya'll with DRY, ACNE-PRONE skin, you will LOVE this. Same with aging skin, sensitive skin...if you have SKIN you will love this. This moisturizer has squalene, Glycerin, and 5 key ceramides, and it's $14.99! And it's guaranteed NO reaction or NO sensitivity, which I love. I picked this up after I was sick of using the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream and found that it was breaking me out, and wasn't moisturizing enough. It has about the same texture, but the vanicream is less gel-like. BUT with the added antiaging and peptide/ceramide benefits, you could say this was a dupe for the DE one...just better!

Hate the Experience, Love the Results
Do y’all use any products that have a huge list of “experience” negatives, but the results you see are worth it? Well, this is mine! ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream My main complaint: It takes forever to sink in. For about 4 minutes after I put it on, it just sits on my face in white streaks everywhere. It makes the end of my nightly routine kind of suck. It is also super hard to spread around. (I’ll totally take less ingredients over spreadability though). BUT I have seen such brightness, soft skin, and no irritation from this that I keep going back! I love lists so here are my pros and cons in list form. Dislikes: - Takes 4 mins to sink in - Leaves white streaks on face until sinking in - Hard to spread - Hard to get last squeezes out of bottle - Small - Sells out Like: - Vegan & cruelty free - Brightens skin tone - Softens skin - Hydrates beautifully for oily skin - Not greasy - No fragrance - Never breaks me out - Can be found at Target - Low price: $18 on Amazon for 1.7oz Apparently this is a dupe for: Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream $68 for 1.69oz I think the experience is kind of similar to The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA. However, my face gets hot with that one, and the Acure ingredient list knocks that one out of the park, but it’s worth noting.

💰💰Money saved!9 Drunk Elephant Skincare Dupes Recommended by Youtuber Cassandra Bankson👍👍!(1)
Hey Cherie Beauties! Recently, The YouTuber, a skincare expert, Cassandra Bankson put together 9 of the best dupes for overpriced drunk elephant products. As a big fan of Cassandra, I watched almost all of her science-based skincare videos. Here is the main content of this video about drunk elephant dupes! Read to save money👉👉! The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream$68 The Dupe: ACURE - Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream(Slightly Thicker Application) $18 According to Cassandra, ACURE Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream just copied the DE’s ingredients list and made it cheaper. ACURE boasts the same epidermal growth factors in Protini and includes ferulic and salicylic acids and Vitamin C in the form of a glucoside. Most importantly, they both contain marula oil, which is the special ingredient that Drunk Elephant always used! The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil$72 The Dupe:  The Ordinary - 100% Cold Pressed Virgin Marula Oil $9.9 Comparing these two products, they have the same main ingredient, the cold-pressed virgin marula oil. Marula oil is one of the most nourishing oils on the market, with a laundry list of benefits. It delivers significant hydration and absorbs well thanks to its small molecular size. It also comes with an insane amount of antioxidants and omega fatty acids. Since both products only have one ingredient—marula oil—the ordinary oil can be the dupe. The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - A-Passioni Retinol Cream $105 The Dupe: elta md SKINCARE - Renew Eye Gel $77 Cassandra analyzed the ingredients and also found that these two products also have similar ones. They both have niacinamide, which is vitamin b3, a component good for redness and a little bit of oiliness in the skin. Also, they both contain peptides and a form of retinol. Spending less money, you're still getting the same benefits as DE! The Original: DRUNK ELEPHANT - C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum $80 The Dupe: cleen beauty - Vitamin C Papaya Glow Serum$9 Undoubtedly, the hype surrounding Drunk Elephant's C-Firma Vitamin C Day Serum rightfully deserved, as it uses a 15 percent concentration of vitamin C, fruit enzymes, and antioxidants to promote brighter and clear-looking skin with every use. But there is also a dupe. CLEEN BEAUTY matched up with almost all the same ingredients as the Drunk Elephant C-Firma. It fuses certain percent pure vitamin C with anti-aging ingredients like salicylic acid and neurosensine. Plus, it's also under $10, allowing you to grab eight bottles for the price of one C-Firma serum. But Cassandra gave us a note that because of the tumeric, some people have noticed a slight yellow tint to the skin. Wanna know more DE skincare dupes? Follow me and click on the next post💖💖!

🌙fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream
🌙fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream
fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Dream Face Cream Super Lotus Night Recovery Such a long name for such a little jar lol. I wanted to try this night cream, so I got the mini size for $19. fresh - Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer I’ve been using some Fresh products for a while, including their rose & hyaluronic acid cream, but I like this one a lot better. I might be on the lookout for a thicker night cream, just a personal preference, but I really can’t fault this lil guy at all. I often wanted to reach for this in the mornings instead of the rose cream🥀 🍑It has a lovely lightweight feel & wonderful peachy scent. It’s considered a “Clean” beauty product, meaning it’s free of: Sulfates, Parabens, Formaldehydes, Formaldehyde-releasing agents, Phthalates, Mineral Oil, Retinyl Palmitate, Oxybenzone, Coal Tar, Hydroquinone, Triclosan, Triclocarban & other nastiness. I’ve made some slides to explain the beneficial ingredients, like Shea butter, sacred lotus extract, peach leaf extract, lemon peel oil, cucumber extract & chamomile flower oil🌼🥒🍋 So even though I plan on shopping around a few other options, I have nothing bad to say about this night cream. I was sad when it was emptied last night😭 If you’re looking for a refreshing & nourishing night cream that isn’t heavy, this may be right up your alley. Every morning my skin was soft & glowing🌝 💤Have you tried this? What’s your favorite or current night cream?

Drunk elephant, fresh lotus
Drunk elephant, fresh lotus
Fresh Lotus night cream- weirdly enough it actually gave me incredibly smooth skin, I don’t know what is in it but I am very happy. Smells like peaches which I am happy about too ( not a fan of their famous cucumber scent). I’m considering buying the full size during the next Sephora sale Drunk elephant lala retro whipped cream- first of all their products are unscented but I smell peanuts, that’s just me, I enjoy that smell actually. Second of all love how this whipped texture felt on my skin, down side is it did not hydrate my skin that well. And for 60$ it should be a miracle cream. Just not hydrating in my opinion Drunk elephant polypeptide cream- this also gave my skin a smooth finish which I did like, not moisturizing enough for winter for me even during the day, I am considering buying it in the next Sephora sale around end of may I think because it’s hydrating enough for me in the summer so I do like this product. 5/5 for all the products, the drunk elephant is pricey but in the summer I do like the polypeptide cream it smooths my face, and lotus night cream is only 42$ and it works wonders on me so definitely buying that

Dermatologists' Top Tips For Treating Severe Dry Skin
Dermatologists' Top Tips For Treating Severe Dry Skin
Dry skin is itself quite an irritating feeling. But when things become serious and dry skin converts to severely dry skin, you feel even more frustrating. One of the main reasons for the frustration is not being able to figure out what causes dry skin and how to treat it effectively. Once you get to know the reasons behind dry skin and also get to understand what triggers it, you will be able to treat it. All you need to do is follow a proper skincare routine, keep your body hydrated by drinking lots of water, and also make a few lifestyle changes.

I love the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Pr
I love the DRUNK ELEPHANT - Protini Polypeptide Cream! As you can see, it has a translucent gel/cream texture...it applies so wonderfully to the skin, and I think this is a great moisturizer for all skin types! It is quite hydrating and has peptides to hell fight signs of aging like fine lines. It may not be enough for really dry skin, so I would only recommend this to friends with more combination skin types. I enjoy this as a day cream, but it’s not enough for my dry skin at night. However, I give this a 4.5/5 ⭐️ rating. I think the price is honestly fair at $64 for such a large jar, and the pump design is very innovative. I knocked off half a star because the scent is a little weird to me, and I wish this felt cooling on my skin but it doesn’t. What do y’all think of Protini?

Plump, dewy, glow?....YES, please!
Plump, dewy, glow?....YES, please!
Isn’t she beautiful?!? TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream has been a favorite of mine for over a year now, since discovering it. (If you are sensitive to fragrance this is not for you. Although it’s mild, it does have a scent to it). My mom came to visit once and fell instantly in love, too. She struggles to find a cream that suits her oily to dry mature skin. Either one would leave her feeling too oily or lack enough moisturizer to break through where needed. I let her take this one home with her 😉 I’ve tested A LOT of other moisturizers out but really missed this one. One that I came close was SUNDAY RILEY - Tidal Brightening Enzyme Water Cream I have dry to normal skin and try as I might, I use anything that will give me a youthful glow. This is a rich, albeit almost heavy cream but never feels that way on my skin. It always sinks right in leaving me prepped and moisturized for the day. It’s ideal for those with dry skin but works ok for normal skin as well. I’d suggest if you’re oily, try a test amount if you can before purchasing. TATCHA - The Dewy Skin Cream intensely hydrates and seals in moisture, helping to replenish ceramides for a healthy bounce and instant luminosity. A fermentation of Japanese anti-aging superfoods — green tea, rice, and algae — helps skin to look its most beautiful at any age. Non-comedogenic Non-irritating Non-sensitizing Dermatologist tested Cruelty-free Formulated without: Mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, TEA, or phthalates. My only thumbs down on this is it has added fragrance, coloring and alcohol, all at the bottom of the list. I personally can look past this BUT I recommend always choosing products without fragrance and alcohol, especially if you have sensitive skin! I do love that the second ingredient is Tatcha’s is their patented Hadasei-3; green tea, rice and algae mix; "superfluid of Japan’s three essential nutrients of Green Tea, Rice, and Algae ". The liquid is obtained by fermentation and the basic idea behind any fermented ingredient is that the fermentation process helps to break down the complex bio-molecules in the plants and helps to isolate the beneficial components for the skin. The Algae component is claimed to help skin hydration, while rice gives high-protein nourishment and green tea is indeed an excellent anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient. (Full ingredient list in comments) This one definitely isn’t cheap at $68 but if you enjoy to indulge, you just may like this one. #CherieCreator
